Hermesh was enjoying himself, he may have enjoyed the screams of humans and Faunus more than killing the Grimm but it’s definitely a close second, he turned his now completely covered face towards Ren and notices the worry in his face ’ so I get the best of both worlds here huh? good he would have a devilish smile that unfortunately was unnoticed under his exoskeleton, though it quickly changed as Ren attempted to sound tough if at first Hermesh enjoyed the boy’s attitude then now he simply loves it! That’s the exact kind of people he liked! “with pleasure,” Hermesh said now with his voice back to normal as he spun around his scythe as its eye started to glow brighter and brighter, Hermesh was ready for three of the incoming Beowolves.
He simply waited in place for the brainless beasts to come rushing in while he continued to spin his scythe, the moment those three were close enough he unleashed his fury, slashing at the creatures and hitting them with both the blade of his scythe and the flaming wave that came from it, all that was left were 6 crisped up pieces of Grimm before they disintegrated into dust, right as it happened he heard Ren yell that they will fight together, it made him laugh for a few seconds before yelling back “that’s the way you do things boy! Keep going and don’t die!” .

 Ren was breathing a bit heavily as he could see Hermesh cleaving the Beowolves with his scythe and smiled a bit as Ren was glad that he was on their side. He turned his back and spoke his words while he heard his comment, causing him to clench his fist before he saw the next two Beowolves beginning to approach. "I don't intend on dying at all!" He told him with his eyebrows furrowed, his aura shifting slightly before he charged forward. He wasn't faster anymore, but he was at a much more manageable speed as he struck one of the beasts with his left hand. It grunted from the force from it before Ren slipped underneath it's swinging claws to try and grab him, sliding between it's legs before he performed a slightly high leap. He turned around and brought his right foot down, kicking the beast forward slightly as Ren kicked off of it. He landed a few feet behind it before he he curled his legs and watched it turn around. He leapt up and over the right claw as a second Beowulf lunged at Ren, causing him to jump, grab ahold of the first claw and vault over it mid swing to kick the second Beowulf in the jaw. He kicked it up slightly and then brought his leg back down, driving it into the neck and bringing it down into the ground as Ren performed a front flip over it to land on his feet with it skidding behind him.
Ren was panting and his ears twitched as he ducked the second claw of the first Beowolf, countering with a quick lunging headbutt to the beast. He winced but knocked it asunder before Ren reared his left hand back and punched forward, breaking through it and dusting it immediately. The second Beowolf finally recovered from it's grind on the ground and launched itself at Ren as he turned around, arcing his foot into a full half circle as he stomped and crushed the poor beast's head with his foot, dusting it as he was panting heavily. 'Rem......this place is a hell hole but we have to do this, for everyone here!' He thought while he saw an Ursa beginning to charge. He leaned forward and used his foot placement to get a good running start, jumping up and proceeded to spin around as he kicked the Ursa in the gut. "Hermesh! I need help here!" He shouted.
