Chloris would not allow herself to be flustered any longer than was comfortable. Her Fae-like smile of mischief curved her lips as she would call out to challenge her teammate. As the grass within her semblance's reach would try to capture the goat faunus. Early in the start of their training, something in the corner of her vision caught her attention briefly before the druid was back to her task."I'd be damned if I let 'im pass,"Chloris thought determinedly. Of course this did not last long as her goofy friend would fall due to tripping over grass. She would rest the grass for a bit as she too would look to the spectral bunny and hear Henryk confirm their teammate's appearance."I can see that,"Chloris said with a giggle before leaning down and patting the rabbit's head.
She would then walk over to and help Henryk up before heading to the area of the hedge that marked the entrance to their hideaway. As her aura graced around her once more, she would begin to part the vines and branches of the thorned bushes; making the path that would allow their companions in."Ella's here too,"Chloris thought with a slight smile. Once they were through, she would turn and look at Remus and Ella both."You two 're late,"The petite young woman said, hands on her hips as she looked from one to the other."Well, what's yer excuse?"Her expression said this thought quite clearly as she waited for them to answer.

Inside the base the spectral rabbit bounded clear of Henryk's epic wipe out. The pose their illustrious leader ended up in was rather artistic, in a comical way. In fact if the wind blew in through the trees just right it might be possible to hear some faint laughter upon it. Though one could just be imagining that too. What was not imagined was the rabbit. It dropped down to all fours as Chlo pat it on the head. After she pulled her hand back the rabbit jumped over to Henryk. Bouncing right up onto the faunus's head as he righted himself. The shape of the bunny shifted as it suddenly produced a square card which it held up over it's head. The Card like most of the rabbits form was blue though emblazed across it with the same brighter, glowing blue that resided in the animal's eyes was the number nine. It flashed this score card around for a moment before it vanished and it lowered its body so that it standing on all fours on Henryk's head. The moment he shook it to try and get rid of the bunny it bounded off. Launching itself into the air towards Chlo. It would pretty much hit her right in the chest if she didn't catch it. The perfect aim for jumping into her arms as it was unlikely she wouldn't catch it, Binx would have her trained, from which it turned its glowing eyes back to Henryk. Now while he would have no idea what the rabbit had done there was definitely a twinkle of amusement in those ghostly eyes and Chloris was probably laughing too. The bright glow would fade around then though as Remus gave up control of the animal due to the arrival of Ella on his end.

Remus turned away from the briars as Ella came into view. He watched her approach him with a grin. He was about to tell her that she was late when she cut him off by claiming to have a valid reason. This of course caused the corner of his mouth to turn up into a crooked grin while one of his eyebrows rose slightly. The expression perfected managed to say "Oh, let's hear it then." and "Oh this should be good." all at the same time. As expected she pulled out a book. The white hair teen arching his back to lean back as she thrust it right at his face. Having learned from Henryk's mishaps it was keen to be careful around the white haired bookworm when she got into her books. By his estimation though she would of managed to avoid introducing his nose to the hardback covers of her book. The leaning back was useful though as it did mean that even if there had been no chance of injury this time that the surface was far enough away from his eyes for him to actually make out the title. Remus chuckled at the purity of the moment. He loved this childlike glee Ella got when learning. "The pursuit of knowledge reason once more. One of these days you're going to have to actually surprise me." He replied as he pat her on the head affectionately. His hand also stroking her hair a little to straighten out the bits of hair that had gone astray during the several times she had tripped on her way out here. "I didn't know that." He added once he finished doting on her and lowered his hand.
Remus watched her bounce up and down in place in her excitement for a little before turning his head towards a familiar sound. The briars were opening up. Well it seems Chloris has finished with Henryk and is ready to let them in. On the inside the rabbit that was likely still in the blue haired girl's arms, having no reason to leave, would fade away until the feeling of substance in her arms disappeared with any visual trace of the phantom animal vanishing as well a moment after. Remus started down the newly made path with Ella after she got her book put away. She was talking about the book of course. She wasn't an information sink. When she learned new things she spread the knowledge around with a passion. He liked this about her as well. Though his ears perked up when she made a connection to this book being her reading subject because of the conversation with the mystery man they had encountered on their mission. Remus glanced at her as he walked. "I remember him." He confirmed eagerly. Remus had been pushing Ella lightly here and there to talk to him about that guy and what he had said. Remus knew that whomever he was he had been; one, grateful that he had protected Ella; and two, perfectly willing to unload all the foes they had been fight together onto him so that he could slip off to say something to Ella. The content of that something had had some kind of noticeable impact on Ella but she wasn't telling him what it all was about. At least not until now. It must be big though if she is seemingly meaning to talk about it with everyone at once.
As the pair entered the clearing and the briars closed behind to give the team the privacy of their naturally fortified base they came face to face with Chloris. The team's second female member had come over to meet them from where she had been controlling the brambles. With hands on hips and a scolding on her tongue she probably lined up rather well to the mental image that Ella had had when she first realized she had been reading too long. Remus just gave her a grin, "We're not late. It is precisely 'We are here now o'clock'." He joked while holding out the arm that had his wrist watch on it. Though he was also glancing at Ella's book and developing the most 'need you even ask?' smirk to have ever existed.
Ella became a little embarrassed at Remus's comment about surprising him one day, she scratched her head and laughed sheepishly at him, "Well.. yeah, I suppose you're right.." she said, her face going a little red at the same time as he sorted her hair, "Thanks!" she would say as he then added that she had taught him something new. As they continued their walk, Ella could tell that Remus was unsure of how to tackle the conversation about the lizard man, he had been asking her previously about it but she hadn't really known what to say or do. She would open her mouth to say something on the topic however would refrain until she was with the team, hopefully they would be interested to hear what she had to say.
Ella would gulp as Chloris came out of the hideout, she put her hands on her hips and once again would laugh sheepishly, unsure of how to handle this situation. She knew she would have to face her teammate at some point, however it was at this point she realized how much she wanted to turn around and run. Remus would make a joke and Ella would hope that it would help, she was tragic in this type of conversation. She did see the glance at Ella's book, to which she would take it out of the belt and hold it up, it was an old historical book about clans and faunus tribes across the globe. "It would appear I forgot to set an alarm again.. and well... you know me!" she would add, a nervous laugh coming from her as the ruby eyed girl had no clue what to do. "I-.. I'm sorry Chlo.. It's my fault again" she would add, feeling guilty that she had got Remus into trouble and also let down her team, again.

With her help, thankfully, he would begin to rise; but with an unexpected passenger. He did not fully notice at first, but once he was fully up he could feel an unusual weight on his head. Blind to the antics going on above, he would bring up a hand to see what was on his head before the weight would suddenly shift and...vanish? He was confused for a moment before he saw it was the spectral rabbit, and that it had jumped from him to Chlo. Why animals chose his head as a resting spot he had zero clue; especially after it was the one that caused his wipe out. He swore he could almost see a mischievous smirk from its eyes. Not once did it cross his mind though that it did anything but be an annoyance by being on his head; he thought that was the whole of it. He would give it a glare as it began to fade away, and Chlo would begin opening up the briar for the latter two of their team to join them. It was very rare Henryk was actually on time to things; so the fact that Remus of all people was late was a silent victory for Henryk. Hearing and seeing Chlo's words/stance, he was glad he was not late this time. 'Nothing worse than being scolded by Chlo...except maybe Ella's headbutts,' he thought to himself.
In response, Remus would be his usual quick-witted self as he joked on the definition of their timing. Henryk highly doubted it would satisfy Chlo...but he was paying attention in case it did. He knew he needed excuses for when he would inevitably be late in the future. Though his eyes were towards Ella and her book...she was almost as late as often as Henryk was because of her books. He wasn't sure, but he felt like she only ever beat him on time was due to Remus. Poor Ella though...unlike Remus she was similarly intimidated by Chlo like Henryk was at times. She would, as expected, pull up her book and say how she forgot her alarm...they knew her...and apologize saying it was her fault. 'Poor Ella,' he thought. Deciding to try and break tensions a little, Henryk would speak up. "It's good to see you two, and better late than never at least. I was beginning to think you two left me to fend for myself against Chlo the entire time," he would joke with a smile to his face. Before a mischievous look crossed it. "Though since you two are late...I think we need to make up for lost time asap. What do you think Chlo?" he would say and ask, eager to no longer be the focus of Chlo's attacks for once. It'd be interesting to have a two on two, or just rotate him with one of them for Chlo to spar with. Chloris was patient, hands on her hips still as she would look from one to the other, awaiting their excuses. Was she really mad? Not really, but she wasn't going to let her teammates get away with being late. While they came up with excuses, the briars would close behind the pair."Really,"Chloris thought, raising a slight eyebrow at her tall and fair teammate."You are late o'clock,"Chloris retorted before looking to the other female of their team. Ella's response was most honest, and not surprising. Chlo would smile lightly and shake her head before "lightly" punching Remus in the arm then reaching up and ruffled Ella's hair before stepping back."Now...what to do with you,"Chloris pondered aloud before hearing Henryk's suggestion.
Smirking slightly from their leader's comment of being alone with her then his suggestion, she was amused. Then again, her teammates all amused her; despite her stern manner. Resting her index finger on her chin thoughtfully, she would consider it."That is a fair suggestion,"The petite young woman mused with a mischievous smile of her own. Though she would wait for the other two to respond before doing anything.

Unsurprisingly Chlo wasn't going to let her serious side show even the slightest crack. Remus just grinned at her in response to her retort that it was in fact actually Late o'clock. Ella gave her response that was a straight forward, honest reason in complete contrast to Remus's joking. Which of course meant that it was what actually got an upward turn to appear upon Chlo's lips. Though despite the smile she still punched Remus on the arm. Remus of course brushed it off after rubbing the spot with the palm of his hand for a moment. "Hey I just fixed that." He protested in a playful tone as he swooped over to unruffle Ella's hair again.
Chloris's attention was probably no longer on him though as the blue haired girl was listening in on what Henryk had to say. Unsurprisingly he was all for fun and games. So long as they were all together then it didn't matter when each had showed up. Though when he suggested that they should fill in for him as Chlo's sparring partner Remus was sorely tempted to tease the faunus by remarking that he was only suggesting that to avoid taking another "interesting" pose on the ground for awhile. Remus opted instead to get a little more serious. There was serious matters afoot after all. "While I think I would be interested in a bit of practice."'I certainly enjoy mentoring and helping Ella become a better a fighter.' He added to himself. "I think it will have to wait. Ella has something important to talk to us about. It has at least some impact on why we were late, I think." Remus glanced again at the book Ella had shown the others. In particular the imagery on the cover that was easier to pick out even from afar than the letters of the title. With even the little context he had so far to make his assumptions from the possible correlation between the lizard man and a book about faunus tribes was evident. Of course Ella had also already told him as much.
Ella smiled towards Henryk, she let out a short wave and then chuckled as Chloris ruffled her hair up. "We couldn't possibly let you and Chlo have all the fun now, could we?!" she said, as she listened to their suggestion and gulped at the looks on their face, Ella knew she wasn't out of the woods quite yet. She was grateful for Remus's attempt to save them both, and nodded in excitement, holding up the book in her arms "Oh, that's right!!" she said, become a little awkward suddenly again. "Well, actually it's not as exciting as it should be... but you still need to see!! she said, always the giddy child with anything book related.
"I'd be happy to do anything with you guys, you decide!" she said, smiling at them all. "The book can always wait, it's probably not interesting.." she added, scratching her head.

He was just glad it was not him for once with his tendency for being late; he and Ella were both bad with that if for different reasons. He chuckled slightly as Chlo punched Remus' arm, before she asked what to do with them. Seeing this as his perfect chance, he would give his own suggestion for things. Remus was his usual self throughout all of this; being a smart a** as usual but going along with things jokingly. At his own suggestion, Ella would go with it by saying they couldn't let Chlo and himself had all the fun. He really did love his team and how they all just went with things; it made every situation fun and engaging. Chlo would add his suggestion was fair, but there would seem to be a slight detour to their options suggested by Remus; apparently Ella had something to tell them? This piqued Henryk's curiosity greatly, especially with how he worded it. 'I wonder what it could be?' he thought to himself. As all eyes potentially went on Ella, she seemed to get a bit nervous as she downplayed what Remus said; or tried to at least. It was in reference to her book, though Henryk truthfully had little clue was it was about. She would say it was ultimately up to them, and that the book could wait if anything. Henryk would glance to Chlo briefly before speaking up. "I say go ahead and share what you want us to know! I could use a break from the training. Chloris was appeased with Remus' playful protest before Henryk made his suggestion before Remus chickened out almost immediately. Though, Ella was better, replying with a sparring spirit. It was good to see her friend ready for a challenge."Chicken. But, yes please make it good, El,"she commented first to Remus before looking to their teammate with a voracious lust for knowledge. Henryk was also in agreement that Ella should share what knowledge she had discovered."Though, if the knowledge is not exciting, training will be immediate,"The petite young woman thought with mischief, as her smile said when she looked to their team leader."So, please continue,"Chlo said kindly.
