Shion and Nya really need the mirror in order to be together forever and after a battle while Shion does some explaining, Zatch hands over his piece of the mirror.

Greasor and his mad scientist of a human partner successfully gets the mirror that they wanted completed, but Zatch, Kyo, Shion, and Mia are hot on Greasor's tail.

After growing to an immense size and a chase, Greasor destroys Mia's spellbook, thus crushing Shion's heart. Zatch and Kyo cannot forgive Greasor for what he did and now they are faced off against him surrounded by a moat of lava.

Thanks to Shion's help breaking the magic mirror, Zatch was able to beat Greasor and sent the mad scientist packing. Then Shion said she is going to transfer to a new school to do things on her own.

Zatch spends a day being bullied by Naomi until a lion scares Naomi and Naomi ends up saving Zatch from falling off a cliff. She needs him alive so that she can bully him.

A woman named Li en asks for Kyo's help when her beloved mamodo partner Won rei was being held prisoner.

Zatch, Kyo, Won Rei, and Li En all fight a mamodo who is like a bat boy and Zatch learns the 5th spell, which pierced through the bat boy's armor.

A hunter gives Zatch his hot springs ticket in order to trap Zatch and Kyo in a mamodo battle. Zatch and Kyo win the fight, but they lose out on eating yellowtail.

Kanchome gets recruited into the circus by eating a bowl of candy sitting in a truck. Then on a break, Kanchome meets a girl named Muschka and promises to be her big brother. However, when a dragon mamodo steals Muschka's sheep, Kanchome has trouble living up to the big brother name. Kanchome then asks Folgore who finally caught up to help, which Folgore happily agrees.

Because Konchome doesn't want Muschka to feel sad anymore, Konchome learns a new spell and beats the evil mamodo making Muschka feel sad. After performing one last trick before leaving, Konchome says good bye to Muschka promising to return someday.

The evil look a like of Zatch whose name is Zeno has destroyed Rops's book and Zeno has a bad reason for being king. So, Zatch and Kyo vow to send Zeno back to the mamodo world like the loser he is.

Zatch goes to the department store with Suzie and the teacher's wife in order to watch Praying Mantis Joe Live. When everyone gets ripped off, Zatch reminds Joe of what true justice is and then Joe saves the day by having the store manager get the customers what they paid for.

Gustav and a mamodo named Bari challenge Zatch to a battle, but they hold some hostages to be sure that they get their way. Zatch rescues the hostages and now Zatch and Kyo are ready to fight Bari and Gustav.

Zatch and Kyo lose against Bari, but Bari lets Zatch and Kyo go because he was satisfied in the battle. A worthy opponent.
