Numerous people were gathered here, Etoile finally noticed, some dressed more flashy than she was. Of course, if it wasn't for Alise's quick thinking, she'd have been dressed much like some of the more 'flashy' were- could it be possible they were other Mauvians, just like her? She'd personally had yet to meet any of the ones who could take on a human form, but the snippets of conversations she overheard seemed to lend to the idea that everyone gathered was in the same predicament as her.
Another electrical pulse happened before she could think about asking anyone, which seemed to be coming from some mounds of dirt nearby. Etoile wasn't really sure if Alise's mom would be okay with her getting Alise's clothes dirty or not, but it was probably a good idea to pitch in and help with finding whatever it was under all the dirt...

Another jolty and Miss Kitty's head snapped to look around., She ignored most of the others, really, staying near to Artyhur, but the female was alert with a gaze warning weaker willed sorts to beware before she turned, picking at lint. "I felt something again." She remarked, and moved to search, frowning. She didn't mind being human really, but the electrical feeling was NOT a welcome accompaniment, the woman decided. "A very weird tingling," Soleiyu confirmed to Liryn; he took a quick look at him and couldn't place him, but given that he wasn't alone in this venture it felt better to be in a group rather than try to figure this out by himself. He felt a bit at odds, not knowing anyone--not knowing who he could trust--but friendliness was a welcome gesture.
Liryn's outfit had caught his eye; it was fashion he would expect to see on a Mauvian, but he was reluctant to make any assumptions here in Destiny City. "...I felt it a week ago, or something like it," he said, testing the water.
He was determined to find out what it was, what was going on--to try and get back to normal, so he turned towards the dirt mounds in the distance. "...I just want to figure out what it is," he said, moving towards them to investigate. He didn't go far, and didn't go fast, clearly wanting to keep the unspoken invitation of companionship on the table for both Liryn and Tomlin.

CarmenCarmen had been lingering towards the back of the group, watching everyone gather in this particular spot. She'd slipped off her fancy human theater wear and settled for a cute pink zipper hoodie and jeans she'd gotten some help finding. From what she'd seen and overheard in her peripheral, some of the people here were forthcoming with being cats and others not so much. While it was nice to know that she wasn't alone in whatever had happened, it only pushed her to find the solution now. Shuffling past a few possible transformed Mauvians, she got on her knees and did something better suited to her cat form: she started picking at the pile of dirt in case something was buried there. Hopefully the person who'd lent her these jeans knew how to wash them. Quote: Carmen is open to interaction! If you want your character to be one of the folks she snuck past, go ahead.

 Chip81Chip nodded at Arthur's introduction. He was pretty sure he remembered an Order mauvian by that name... ...speaking of order mauvians, there was starting to be quite a lot of people around. He knew he wasn't the only Mauvian in the negaverse, but this? This was a lot more than he thought there'd be, even if everybody showed up. Hopefully this wouldn't turn into a brawl between sides, because that wasn't gonna end well. The realization made him just a little nervous--a strange feeling, really. Must have been from the trapped, powerless (if giant. 4' tall was so big) human form. Yeah. A pulse happened again, and it made him shiver. "Oh, yeah, that's gotta be nearby," he said to nobody in particular, and squinted, trying to decide exactly where that came from.

TomlinTomlin glanced at the teal-haired boy, without recognition. Both the boy and the white-haired man he addressed seemed friendly, and switched on to the situation. That was reassuring. He nodded agreement, allowing himself to relax a fraction. Not that it showed, without a tail to twitch. “Only thing I’ve sensed all week,” he said, letting his frustration show. “Fingers are not worth this.” The tingling pulsed again, and his head snapped toward it – finally near enough for an actual direction. He followed after Soleiyu, but his attention was still split, alert for external dangers to Liryn or the others starting to dig. Negaverse attackers, civilian police… This was a construction site. There could be anything here, besides the magical. There could be *dogs*.

ArthurIf he still had cat ears, they would have perked up at the sensation that crackled in the air. By the turns of heads in one direction, it seemed they all had felt it.
"Seems we are on the hunt." Arthur said, moving with Ms. Kitty to walk beside her and take a spot by her side, searching among the others. "What a strange thing for all of us Mauvians to sense even when we are like this. Have you ever felt something like this before?" He asked to Ms. Kitty.

LirynNeither of the other two males seemed familiar - well at least Liryn couldn't recall meeting either of them–
But both of them had responded to his greeting and their words suggested that he wasn't the only one who had picked up on the weird tingling that wasn't quite an energy signature, but even now continued to call to him.
"It's the first thing I've been able to feel all week too" he admitted "And whilst I've had fingers before, it's never been like this in the past" not least because in the past fingers had still come with his ears, tail and star–
And the ability to sense auras and to use the kitty beam.
"In fact things..." His voice trailled off as something sparked nearby, another pulsr, one that drew his attention towards what appeared to be mounds of dirt - in fact make that several mounds of dirt.
"Yes" he agreed as the white-haired male (Soleiyu) mentioned wanting figure out what it was "I do too." He gestured at the dirt, purplish eyes glancing first at the ginger-haired male (Tomlin) and then the white-haired male (Soleiyu) before heading after the white-haired male.
"I'm Liryn by the way."
Sticking together seemed good - at least to him - and because of that Liryn figured that they may as well have his name.

Cora felt embarrassased. Not only she had fell ungraciously, she also had managed to get the dress she wore stained. 'Oh no. Jade is going to be so mad to me.'
But before she had time to worry it more, this strange feeling came back, this time more consistent, more static.
Cora stood out... and felt something else. Her ankle. It was hurting. "Oh, isn't this just great," she sighed. Still, she had to find the source. She just had to.

PyperSince she didn’t overhear anything particularly helpful, she was unsure of what to make of this situation. Maybe she needed to move closer to the others so she could hear better. It seemed plausible that this was a gathering of mauvians like herself who had been trapped in human form. She tapped her chin as she watched the various groups of people.
She was about to move closer when she felt another surge of energy, and she noticed the piles of dirt. It seemed like the others around her had sensed the energy too because some of them had begun to investigate. She watched as someone tried to sneak past her and begin digging.
Pyper walked over to a pile next to the stranger(Carmen), and casually waved hello. "So um...this is all kinda weird, but I guess you sense something too?" she asked, as she began to dig nearby.
She was going to have to get her hands dirty for this. “Gross,” she grumbled as dirt got under her nails. Hopefully they would all be able to work together to find something useful. Sami-Fire Hi! I hope you don't mind if Pyper says hello. xD

Illyria(( Rolls = 68 )) Illyria's fingers stilled as she accidentally brushed up against one individual and before she could even utter an apology the other woman began to speak in a soft murmur. Illyria's gaze narrowed for a moment before she gave a perceptible nod of her head in agreement. She wasn't entirely sure of the reason that she had been singled out by this newcomer of sorts but if she made a friend then that was fine by her. Her own violet eyes took in the other's appearance before she shifted her weight to rest more comfortably on both feet. It was strange to have to continuously make these minute adjustments and Illyria was starting to wonder just how humans could manage on walking around on two feet.
That oddball thought didn't last long though as another pulse of electric energy fizzled through the air and her attention was momentarily diverted to stare at the piles of dirt that seemed to be the source of what had been drawing everyone here. As Illyria watched some of the gathered group moved towards the dirt piles and although she loved finding hidden objects Illyria wasn't sure about digging through the dirt.
"Very strange times indeed," Illyria paused and continued to watch those that had started poking around in the dirt. "Well I don't suppose anyone thought to bring something one could use for digging. See any shovels around that might hasten this search?"

BernardBernard had finally felt... something. After his owners had let him stay in his human form for the time being, he could feel himself growing uneasy with how long he had been waiting for some sort of answer. And when he felt as though he couldn't stand it anymore, he felt it in the middle of the night, right when he was trying to sleep which irritated him greatly. He was no longer in his cat body, which meant that he could no longer wake up at any time of the day and feel completely rested. He wanted to become a cat again so he could go back to his laziness! With what he felt, he finally felt as though he had some goal in mind to end this entire mess, and so in the middle of the night he went out, with shoes on as human feet were terrible at walking around barefoot in the paths that they had made for walking of all things, and eventually found himself in a place that he would never go to on his own if he didn't feel like he had to. He could see that other humans were here, and wondered if they were Mauvians too. They must have been. Some of them were dressed too unusually compared to how a human would normally be seen. Still, he couldn't help but feel his moustache twitch as they seemed to be digging through the dirt for... something. Why did it have to be so dirty? He moved over to one mound and lightly brushed some of the dirt off of it, wishing that he had brought gloves or something so that he wouldn't get so dirty from all of this.

It wasn’t an easy task but Bernard was the first to locate the source of the crackling electricity in the air. Beneath the mound of dirt was a capsule roughly the size of a human torso, with sleek paneling and smooth edges. Wires and strange electronic bits seemed to be poking out of a nasty tear and a little light was beeping rapidly. To the right of the worst damage--the crinkled, peeling metal side--a little rod suddenly jutted out of the capsule and scanned the area once, twice. It was bright enough to blind, even if just for a second. An alarm suddenly went off, shrill and piercing, and the capsule rocked in place as something inside it shifted. Suddenly, almost violently, the metal peeled back to expose eight elongated metal legs that shakily pushed themselves upwards. Four more metal limbs protruded from the back of the capsule, each one tipped with a little metal claw that swung through the air like it was trying to smack at any threats from above. The capsule grew almost twice in size as it peeled itself apart. Maybe, if it had been in better condition, it wouldn’t have transformed in such a way that openly exposed its dangling wires and crushed metal sides. Little sparks kept exploding off of it. Gears were churning loudly, and it was moving in odd, blocky ways. And, it seemed to think they were a threat. Whatever defense protocol had activated was in full swing--it lurched towards the Mauvians, sweeping its metal limbs frantically in their direction. Quote: You’ve found the source of the strange electric pulses but something is obviously wrong. There is clearly Mauvian tech involved here--but there’s no way you can get close enough to investigate while the defense mode is activated! You need to subdue this robot if you have any hope to get close; roll 1 100 sided dice at the top of your next post! Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like you’ll be able to investigate until it is defeated--you’ll need to attack it to get the chance! You may participate in the ORP even if you missed a previous prompt, however it may affect the outcome of certain events. Rolls cannot be made up once the next prompt has been posted! All Mauvians should roll to search for the mysterious capsule! Players can miss dice rolls without repercussions but will not be able to make up for missed dice rolls.
