Mielikki was about to walk out of the kitchen area when she spied something else of a shiny nature. It was like a tiny pot with a straight handle sticking out to one side, all metal and it came with friends of various sizes. Mielikki reached down and picked up the tiny pot, the rest where attached by a small metal hoop. She was pleasantly surprised and plopped all of them into her bucket with the whisk. She glanced out the window and realized time was pretty much up so she snapped up her bucket and left, heading back down the stairs. On the next floor down, she could still hear the pipsqueak.
“Hey kid, it’s time to go.”
“I need help,” Mielikki heard. She sighed lifting her nose skywards, oh of course the tiny one needed help. So Mielikki followed the sounds of rummaging around and found the pintsized one in a far back room.
“What….?”

Specterdust was thoroughly surprised by her second find. This room seemed to have quite a bit left in it so she set her two finds on a sort of raised sleeping platform. She moved things aside or lifted up other items that had fallen down. Nothing seemed to really stick out at her. A small sliver of light glinted off something reflective under the sleeping platform. Curiously, Specterdust got down on the floor and looked under. A decent size rectangular metal box sat there undisturbed and forgotten. She stretched out a front leg and kicked it backwards towards the opposite side.
She jumped up and scurried over to the box and smelled it. It had a loop on the top that she grabbed and lifted. The box was dense but she wasn’t sure if it was because of what was inside. She set it back down and inspected it further. On one side it had a mental latch that she fussed at with her upper lip and teeth. It snapped up and she squeaked as it pinched a bit. Shaking her head she grabbed the loop on top once more and the lid popped open. Spectedust looked inside and there was a colorful picture of an Other that looked like the doll she found and even more underneath. They seemed to be kept together in small groups of flimsy stuff.
Specterdust nosed around the box more but that was all that was inside. The light was growing dim in the room and was too messy to look at all the items in the box. Specterdust snapped the lid back on with latch just as she heard the voice of the doe from earlier.
“I need help,” she called back.
She realized then that there was still room in the box for her other two items. She popped the lid back open and first grabbed the picture frame. It fit but the doll wasn’t going in. That’s when she noticed the doe in the doorway.
“Can I put this find in your bucket?” she asked the doe.
The doe just gave her a deadpanned expression. But finally sighed, rolling her eyes and nodded. With the doll in the bucket, the frame in the box. Specterdust picked up the metal box and proceeded to struggle back towards the stairs with the other doe in tow. Both heading down to the meeting place together.

Dragging his over burdened satchel down the stairs, Oleander stopped for a moment to catch his breath. Seems it had been an idea to take one of those heavy bars of gold stuff. But he was going to get it back to his home even if it killed him! While he had left his satchel by the stairs, he took a gander around to see if he couldn't find one last thing before exiting the building. Most the rooms were nothing but rubble, but one held something interesting... At least to him. Lining the wall closest to the windows, ones he checked to see where the sun was and it was nearly to where it was time for his game to end. Peering at the shelves he nosed at a few of the musty, dusty books that the Others had left behind. Snorting at the dust, some making him sneeze as the Botanic's pollen had earlier. Oleander walked along the shelves before finding a book with what looked like bronze hinges holding the covers together. This seemed odd to him, pulling the book from the shelf he made his way back to his satchel. Tucking the book inside with the bar, he again proceeded to pull the heavy bundle down the stair. It took a little longer then he had liked, but he made it back outside. Noticed that the others had gathered up what they had found. Some had interesting things, others were neat looking. It was all in the eye of the finder. Giving the Satchel one last heave, he too joined the rest. "I take it that everyone found some interesting things. Hopefully you all had as much fun as I did. Treasure hunting is always a nice way to pass time and make new friends." He smiled at the rest of the group. "So, what did everyone find?"

As Dryxel made his way down to the main floor, he hoped everyone had found something interesting like he had. "Kah toh-loo oo-nye" the strange fur creature had continued to talk has Dryxel walk. "I really have know idea what you are saying?" he though because his mouth was full carrying his items. As he walks across the lobby floor something catches Drycel's eye. A small but noticeable crack has formed in the concrete of the foundation which to be honest was not that strange in the Ruins. But what caught Dryxel eye was a small sprout of some kind. It was hard to tell what it might be or have been. The poor sprout was dying and wilting way under the pressure of the dying Ruins. Something inside stirs in Dryxel. Setting his findings down he goes over to the sprout. "Help it grow." His muse encages him. Taking a deep breath in and back out he concentrates on the health and healing of the wither in plant. Something leaves his body and fills the air around him the gently floats down to the sprout. As if the sprout breaths in the energy it springs to life and if restored to better then before. A small smile plays across Dryxel's face he had saved the sprout and maybe he would come back to watch it flourish. Help with the over all out come of the day. Dryxel returns to get his items. As he picks up the strange creature it chimes. "Kah oo-tye nah-bah." "Still do not understand you but ya I hope it lives too." He thinks as he walks out the door way. Outside the joyful buck is already asking what he might have found inside. Coming up to the group, Dryxel sets his items down and the creature once again has something to say about it. "Dah noh-lah" "I do not know what you are saying thing." Dryxel says in a quit voice as to not be miss understood by the buck. wc:2029

Mielikki heard a bizarre noise from below and she and the pipsqueak came down the stairs. She peered over the railing but didn’t see much, so she sniffed the air. The golden buck had passed by already but the newest scent was the other buck. She hadn’t talked to him before the hunt started, or the other doe. Was he talking in tongues? No that voice wasn’t noul, it wasn’t living either. There was a certain whirl of gears undertoning the voice. What on earth did that buck find. Mielikki paused on the stairs before proceeding further down. She glanced around and spotted the buck, he was using magic on a sprout in the cracked floor.
Mielikki gestured for Specterdust to stop and then turned back to watch the buck. Once he was finished helping the sprout, he left with his noisey find.
“Wait here,” Mielikki said setting down her bucket, she was getting an idea. She wondered over to the sprout and lowered her nose, sniffing around it. The crack made it hard to figure out if the sprout had all the nutrients it needed. But she managed to get a taste of the crumbs all the broken edge of concrete. Ah yes, there was some nutrients not here that would be ideal. Sure it was given what it need to be healthy again and to grow some more, but plants needed so much more.
So Mielikki pressed her nose in close and closed her eyes. She focused on a loose tendril of magic and coaxed it to flame. Nutrients, to enrich the soil, her mind thought and pushed the magic through her and into the ground. A plum purple light pulsed out of her, slithered through the crack and soaked into the ground. It is done.
Mielikki returned to Specterdust and picked her bucket back up. Together they left the building into the low sunlight to join the others. Mielikki removed the doll and set it next to Specterdust’s box. Then she pulled out the whisk and metal measuring cups and set them beside her bucket.

Specterdust heard the strange sound of some animal below and nearly ran into Mielikki who had paused on the steps to listen. Once they continued down the stairs, she noticed it was just the other buck who had joined the hunt and his bizarre find. She watched with the dark doe, as the buck used his magic on a sprout in the cracked concrete. So he was a botanic. He then left and she was told to wait where she was at. So she set her heavy box next to Mielikki’s bucket and waited. The doe went over and began sniffing and licking around the sprout. What on grandfather’s dusty plateau is she doing, Specterdust thought. But then stilled with a purple light came from the doe and vanished into the ground. What kind of magic was that?
The doe returned to pick up her bucket and head out of the building. So Specterdust picked up her heavy box and waddled after her back into the outside world and sunlight. She was more the happy to drop the box once more. How was she to get this all the way back home. Mielikki set her doll down next to her box and she nodded a thanks at the mare. Oh and she had that too to try and get home. She sighed and popped the latch on the box. She opened the lid and pulled out the picture frame and set it aside too. Beneath it was exposed to the light, a stash of superhero comic books, the colors still vivid thanks to the box.

Ysalone emerged from the building carrying none of the treasures she'd found except for that bag, but she was excitable as always. The doe bounded over to her new friends with a glint in her eye. Although she couldn't bring back any of the things she'd found, the act of discovering was exhilarating. There'd be much to discuss with Roamer when she finally got back today, and no doubt he'd want to come and see these items. He was endlessly curious, not to mention he tended to feed into her completely contagious enthusiasm.
"Oh, I found a few big shiny things!" she said happily, glancing back over her shoulder as if looking for those very items. "One was a big sheet that reflected things, and another... this big heavy shiny ball with a handle. Too heavy to carry, but... they were so cool!"
She looked down at the bag slung around her neck. "Oh, and this too. I don't have anything in it, but it'll come in handy later I'm sure."

There were so many treasures here from the bizarre such as the item that talked strangely to the thin books in a box. Even the items that the last doe to arrive couldn't pull from the building. Everything had their own value to those that found them and he just adored it. Brimming with joy, Oleander pulled the heavy brick from his satchel so that he could stand up straight. "What wonderful items. It seems that this scavenger hunt was a success! But as this day comes to an end, so does this game. I wish you all the greatest of nights and safest of travels back to your homes. Perhaps someday we all can come together again and find ever more." Oleander said as he too would be making his way home. This was the end of an exciting day, Oleander turned to leave, leaving the heavy bar on the ground until he could return for it. He needed something that could hold the weight, his satchel just wasn't that item. For now with all headed home. he had thoughts of another game... Perhaps in another place... Oh the joy of Scavenging! WC: 193-FIN!
