Species: Scuttle scale
Description: A dark desaturated blue base with a soft-edged dark top half (yay countershading!). There should also be a large hard-edged underbelly marking with a seafoam to lavender gradient spanning the entire length of the scuttle scale; it should have jagged, uneven edges. I'd like for the contour of the underbelly marking to be as angular as possible, but I understand that it needs to look natural haha. There should also be large angular-edged spots in the same color scheme, somewhat resembling random shards of glass (it's fine to abstract them somewhat haha or to just generally make them more natural-looking). In addition, there should be a marking coming off the eye which somewhat resembles a comet trail in pale pink; it should fade out the farther it gets from the eye and look rather smoky overall. There should also be sparse white speckles throughout the body (on top of all other markings), with a larger concentration over the comet marking, and a white 'angry eyebrow' type marking over the eye (please feel free to adjust it to look more natural LMAO). The eye color should be a darker pink than the comet trail marking; it'd be nice if it gradiented to a light orange as well but don't worry too much if this isn't possible (i know it's small haha) :> Also, pale claws please!
