The moment they arrived, Himawari couldn't help but to rub her nose. Oh man. She hated the smell of hospitals. It's actually a clean smell but man the chemicals. They get to her sensitive nose. It was part of her bloodline so the smell was so much stronger to her than the average nose. Her nose hair was burning. She had to get out as soon as possible. The white haired lady talked as she mentioned that she wanted them to clean rooms and diagnosis people. With a soft groan, she didn't say anything else for she knew better. She learned from the big fat meanie not to complain or lack in her work. She was anxious to start and was extremely visibly disappointed to hear that she must report to this stranger each time she makes a diagnosis. WHY!? SHE'S TEN YEARS OLD! WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO BE ASKING PEOPLE OLDER THAN HER!?

Himawari was liking this female less and less, her intuition was warning her that something was wrong with this lady especially after there was the slight bloodlust. She wanted to go home and crawl in her bed. Have the sleepover she wanted to have. Anything but here with another meanie. Her nose was really bothering her and Himawari now felt sick as a nurse direct her to a patient room. First things first, Himawari should check if everything was clean... ugh. This was stupid. Why can't they understand that she doesn't want to do this?! Himawari was visibly upset as she went over the room. Checked the floors, the table, and even inside the sink to make sure it was clean. Then on the tray with different items, she spotted one of the metal items having a water spot on it. Decided to take care of it, Himawari took it to the skin as she scrubbed the everliving crap out of it. Any harder, it may actually lose it's tarnish but she wasn't that rough. Dried it thoroughly, she placed it back on the tray and satisfied. Hurry up!!! She wanted the patients to get here faster. Finally, a knock on the door and an alert that a patient was coming. "SEND THEM IN!" Wait. "I-uh I mean. Yes. I am ready. Send them in." Himawari said as she had to remind herself not to be too truthful. She doesn't mind people.

It's just that they don't listen to her. Sure enough, the moment that the man stepped in, he paused, blinked, and started laughing, asking the nurse if this was some kind of joke. The Emperor's Ward? Come on now! Himawari crossed her arms stubbornly, "I'm here to help so either come in or I can send you to the meanie lady I just met!" He paused for a moment, trying to make a decision. She... she wouldn't lie would she? And what woman could possibly scare a cheerful girl? With a defeated sigh, he entered and sat down. Being diagnosed by a ten-year-old was odd as all hecks. He sat down as Himawari got the chart. "Okay! SOOOO! Why are you here?!" She said with a cheery smile, grin was so bright that you don't need light to keep this room bright. "Uh." The man stared for a moment, still in disbelief to be examed by a child. "Ah. I was trying to get my son out of the way ya see, and then this bugging cat-" "Oh! A kitty! Was it okay!?" The man stopped for a moment. Maybe he should check out this meanie woman she was talking about. With a clear of the throat, he continued, "So.. ya see, it made me lose me balance and I took a tumble and my shoulder ain't been right since then." Himawari nodded, also forgetting about the cat. "Okay! So when you fell down, did you hit your shoulder? Or maybe even your head?" Himawari questioned as the man rubbed his head as if to check if there were any bruises or something of the matter. "Uh, I-I don't think so..?" "Oh that's okay! We'll check anyways! Now!" She hopped down from the chair and went through drawers. The older man sort of leaned towards the side, wondering what this little girl was up to. But then she found it!

STETHOSCOPE! Putting the ear part in the ears, she asked the man to take an inhale and exhale as she placed it on the right spot in the back. As airheaded and careless she seems to others, sometimes, she actually pays attention. SOMETIMES. Then she moved the device to his chest and asked him to breathe normally. The heart was good. Lungs sounded great. She put that down on the paperwork! Next was checking his blood pressure. Hmm. A bit high but that was normal due to pain. Happily humming to herself as the man sat there, dumbfounded. She even checks his pupils. Oh, odd! "Well, your left eye is not constricting like it's supposed to! So you might've hit your head after all! But don't you worry! We got awesome nurses here to check that too! Now! Take off your shirt so I can check your shoulder!" She said cheerfully with a smile as the man hesitated for a bit but then do so. There were noticeable signs of discoloration and even a scrape or two. Himawari jolted ally hat down. The blood pressure, discoloration, it's locations, the scrapes. Her assuming that he may have dislocated it when he describes him unable to move it and it does look like it was... wider. As if it was out of joint. Everything. If that meanie chick was Lin-Yu she knows she needs to be detailed. Even go as far as to mention what color it was 'the plum-colored mark was the size of a kitten's head...'

"Okay! Before I give this to the nurse, anything else you want me to check?" She questioned with the bright smile. The man paused and then shrugged with his good shoulder, why the heck not. "Yea, me foot be bothering me a bit too. Itchy and all." Himawari froze. She hates feet. Feet. She can look at it but to be up front personally close to the feet DFKJSDLFJSDLFJSD NOOOOOO. But despite the mental battle and screaming she was going through, she seemed composed... save for the slight eyebrow twitch. "OKAY! WELL WE GOT THIS TOGETHER!" Himawari started, wanted to lift his spirits but if anything she probably startled the poor man a bit more. "Take off your shoes please!" Himawari braced herself. With her poor sensitive nose, this was going to be painful. Ah. The perils of being Seiryuu. He removed his shoes and then his sock. The smell hit her heard. "Oh! I forgot something!" She ran out of the door and closed it as she was green in the face and doing all she can not throw up right then and there. With a clear of her throat, she handed the nurse her chart. It was detailed. Right down to the smell and look of the foot she got before she left. Himawari felt bad for leaving but having this nose... she tried. She really tried. Hopefully, she won't get punished for that as the nurse entered to heal the man up and clear up that nasty foot infection.

Decided right then and there, she was going to do the cleaning. Besides, when nurses informed that they were going to get checked by Himawari, their usual responses were "Himawari, who?" And "I won't be worked on by a child." Which was fine. After that foul-smelling foot, she would much rather be cleaning. Humming to herself, she started by entering into an empty used room. Wiped down the counters very carefully, she even removed canisters and wiped under it and placed them back. Pulled the paper down and shoved it in the trash and rolled down the new paper after wiping down the seat. Cleaned the sink. The sink handles. The doorknob. You name it, she wiped it. Once she was done, she swept next. She even made sure to get behind the seat where no one usually looks and swept up a bunch of dust from that area. Tsk. People sometimes don't pay attention to. Once she made sure that everything was swept up, she carefully dumped it in the trash because if you do it too fast and rough, the dust would just go back int the air and rest on whatever surface it lands on. After that, she mopped the room. Scrubbed the heck out of it. Even the black marks made by shoes were gone. Whew. Her face was red. She was almost done! She can't wait to get out here, her sinus were burning. She waited for the room to dry. While waiting, she carefully tied up the trash bag and took it to it's estimated location and dumped it. Going back, she put in a new trash bag into the bin. The floors were dry! Perfect! She checked every single area in the room to make sure she didn't mis- OH. LO AND BEHOLD. WHAT WAS THIS!? Her eyes glistened as she had found a target. A water spot on the sink's head. With a zoom, she got it scrubbed hard and cleaned out and dried with a paper towel. Then dried again. Then dried the dried dried dried sink. Perfect. With a happy smile, she left and asked if there was anything else. The nurse shook her head and thank her as HImawari was gone the moment the woman shook her head. "I'LL WAIT FOR YOU OUTSIDE SANGO!" Himawari shouted, hoping that her new friend would hear her.

She needed fresh air. The smells were suffocating her. The moment she went outside she took in a deep inhale and did ten dry sneezes, back to back.

Sango followed Himawari and Hikari to the city's medical facility, tasked with cleaning rooms and diagnosing any patients that came through. The woman's demeanor changed suddenly, exhibiting bloodlust, as she warned both Sango and Himawari not to turn away any potential patients, regardless of their ailments. "Yes ma'am." The young street performer replied with a smile, appearing not to be disturbed by Hikari's threat. She was very sure that it wouldn't be much of a problem. With the building being quite unfamiliar to her, she'd take Hikari's advice and explore the area while tidying up some of the rooms. The cleaning process was boring but it had to be done. In one of the rooms there was a small boy sitting in a chair who hadn't been checked on yet. Sango pulled out a small journal and approached the child, questioning him on his visit. After a small exchange of words, and a small checkup, Sango was able to identify some of the scrapes he received after being trampled in the streets during the chaos earlier. [ 1/5 Purification :: 1/5 Diagnosis ]

After getting the boy checked out, she asked him to remain in the room until a nurse or doctor could come tend to his scrapes. Sango went ahead and cleaned up the room the boy was in, by sweeping the floor, sanitizing the tools, and leaving a small, detailed note of her diagnosis for the nurse to read up on. An empty form was filled out, containing the boy's full name, name of guardian, as well as other minor information, also left on the desk nearby before she left the room. In the next room was an elderly woman laying in the bed. Sango could immediately tell she was having issues breathing just from looking at her. She approached the elderly woman, utilizing a stethoscope to identify congestion in her chest and lungs. The woman could possibly be catching a cold, but it was only a speculation. Sango took some notes on the condition and told the woman that a nurse would be here to help her shortly. [ 2/5 Purification :: 2/5 Diagnosis ]

The young street performer walked through the halls with less traffic, cleaning the floors with a mop. Several rounds of cleaning throughout the day were required, especially in a hospital. Keeping things clean and sanitized were an absolute priority here. After mopping and cleaning rooms as patients left, Sango was called to the front desk to do some paper work. A nurse instructed her on how things were filled out, and where to store them once finished. Sango went ahead and began filling out the paperwork and putting in the required information. About an hour passed and the small stack of paperwork beside her had been completed. Paperwork was more boring than cleaning, but it all had to be done. Sango collected the paperwork and filed them in their respective places before going down one of the halls to check rooms for patients. [ 3/5 Purification :: 3/5 Diagnosis ]

The first room she went into had a man with a dog in their lap. Sango initially thought that the man was the one who needed to be checked, but it was in fact the dog. The canine was very apprehensive when she first approached, requiring Sango to calm him down with a soothing voice and a tasty snack. Afterwards, she was able to check the paws of the pet, his owner informing her that they were injured . Identifying the cuts was simple, and notes were taken after inquiring the owner about the cause of their pets injuries. A note was left for the nurse, and Sango went on to clean up the mud and dirt tracks the two left upon entering. A little sweeping, mopping - blah, blah, blah - and the tracks were all cleaned up. Sango thanked the dog for being a good girl, and waved goodbye to the two of them. [ 4/5 Purification :: 4/5 Diagnosis ]

The traffic started to increase in the halls she just cleaned up, so Sango went to clean the other section of hallways and rooms while the number of patients were down. With the mop and broom, the halls were cleaned to perfection, reflecting the light above them. Sango left a 'WET FLOOR' sign to warn any potential travelers down the halls and went to clean the rooms. Three rooms in and Sango was called to the front desk again. She already knew that meant she had more paperwork to do, but instead of dreading it, Sango decided to focus on getting this crap done. Her hand started to cramp after an hour of filling out forms, so she took a small break to stretch out her hand and let it rest. After the break she went all in, filling out the forms and filing them away in their correct spaces. She could hear Himawari calling out to her, "Okay! Be right there!" She replied. With the paperwork finished, Sango collected her notes and returned to Hikari to pass on the details. [ 5/5 Purification :: 5/5 Diagnosis ]

She'd inform Hikari that she was heading outside to check on Himawari, exiting the medical facility shortly afterward. "Well, I think that's enough of playing doctor for the day." Sango chuckled as she approached the young ward, playfully poking her shoulder.

Shortly after letting the two girls go about their business, Hikari would ask a nurse for a map of the building. Letting herself wander to help memorize the layout of the place more that she would be spending quite a bit of time at. She would eventually be stopped by a nurse, letting her know of Himawari's plight and handing the few notes she had on the patient the young girl had been taking care of. Nodding and thanking the nurse, she made her way to the patient's room. Opening the door she would immediately greet the patient and wash her hands, and opened up the file on him as she sat down. Pouring through the notes, it was clear when Himiawari had stopped and when the nurse had began again. This was easy to notice due to the difference in handwriting. A few questions and answers later, it occurred to Hikari that all the man needed at this point in time was just some medication. Hikari would double check the man's condition. It seemed that the nurse who took over for Himawari had cleaned up the man's foot quite nicely, but it was rather obvious it was a fungal infection the man was dealing with. Prescribing some painkillers and antifungal cream, Hikari would send the man on his way, saying that he should take the medicine as prescribed and come back in a few weeks for a re-evaluation. Scribbling some final notes down in his file, Hikari would put the file away, and give a nurse the prescriptions to give to the local pharmacy. Finding a small break in her work, Hikari would then sanitize herself and go to the building's library to learn some new tricks while she was waiting for her next task. [1/5 Diagnosis, 1/5 Consultation]

A small bit of time passed, and eventually she would receive a notice of a new patient needing to be checked. Hikari took the patient's file and started putting away her learning supplies. As she cleaned her mess up she would skim over the patient's file, making sure to familiarize herself with all the small details. Leaving a now clean room behind her, she would make her way to the room her patient was being housed in. Once inside the room she would talk to the patient, recognizing that the nurse had written in their file that their leg was in pain. Rolling up their pant leg, Hikari would probe the area written about in their notes with her fingertips. Eventually the patient would let Hikari know where exactly the pain was, allowing Hikari to diagnose the problem in its entirety. Her patient had pulled a muscle in their leg, making a small area muscle to tighten, causing pain near their knee. Letting them know to stay away from any extraneous excercise or work for a week or so, Hikari wrapped up the consultation and bid them farewell. Putting their file away in its proper place, Hikari would sit down at a desk to fill out paperwork for a while. [2/5 Diagnosis, 2/5 Consultation]

Once Sango was done, she would come find Hikari and hand her the notes she took in person before leaving to check on Himawari. Nodding and reading the notes, she realized something off about the notes. They were all from a few hours ago! Thinking about the task at hand, she would quickly talk to a couple nurses, letting them know what was going on, and what to do to fix the problem. As she let the nurses make their way to the other two patients, Hikari would find her way to the one she thought to be the highest priority. Entering the room with the older woman with the congestion, she would apologize proifusely for the wait while washing up. Sango's notes had said something about congestion, but even Hikari could tell what was going on just by looking at the woman. As she coughed, everything she did told Hikari that the woman had a cold. Checking her vitals, Hikari would eventually grab the attention of a nurse outside the room, telling her to get some liquid antitussive medicine for the older woman. Staying with her until she had received and taken the medicine, Hikari would prescribe some medicine for her to pick up from the pharmacy, before letting the nurse handle the rest. [3/5 Diagnosis, 3/5 Consultation]

Moving on to the next patient, Hikari grabbed the file for and entered the room of the young boy. The nurse she had sent to the room had stayed with the boy, keeping him calm while he continued to wait for a doctor. Receiving word that his mother would be around soon to pick him up, the medic apologized profusely to the child for the large wait. Hikari then quickly checked all of his cuts and scrapes, cleaning them and bandaging them as needed before moving on to the bruises that Sango had most likely missed. Identifying and taking note of all the bruises left behind while the child was being trampled, Hikari asked the nurse to fetch some over the counter painkillers to give to the child. Striking up some conversation with the boy while she checked the rest of his vitals, she took notes as needed and kept the kid interested and distracted. Once his mother had come the child was allowed to leave. Hikari would then take some final notes and put the boy's file away properly, before hunting down the last patient's file. Upon reading the last patient's file, Hikari let out a large sigh. She was never good with taking care of animals, as they just never agreed with her other side. Nevertheless, she kept a semi-straight face about it. Talking to a nurse before making her way to the room, she made sure she had someone to take her place if she was unable to help the pet. Sure enough, before she had even entered the room, a loud barking rang out from within. Entering the room, the owner was trying to keep his pet steady, as Hikari asked if the now growling dog was going to be problematic. The owner just wanted to get the visit done and over with, so Hikari continued. After many questions Hikari would then come to a conclusion with the owner, asking him to keep an eye on the dog for the time being, contacting the hospital if any of the cuts reopen. The injuries did not seem to be bad, so just allowing them to heal normally was the only real way to approach the problem now. After saying goodbye and apologizing to them, Hikari would leave the two to the nurses. Returning to the office, Hikari would find some more paperwork to deal with for a few more hours before calling it a day and returning to the castle. [5/5 Diagnosis, 5/5 Consultation]

Lin-Yu bustled along into the northern reaches of the Canopy and wrested with the seals, placing at the heart of them the seal tag for the Five Seal Barrier, before he continued further along.
