Riku looked at Sora and slightly blushed. Sora..was worried about him and it was..heartwarming. "Mickey got out safely a year ago. He was lucky enough to get free. And as for me..the only reason I got out was because this girl named Namine told me to follow her and so I did. I followed her to this whitish-crystallized room and she drew something and before I knew it I was at the Kingdom Hearts. She said, 'Open the door...HE is waiting for you.." and so I did. And I am so glad I did." Riku sighed and placed his hands behind his head then got up and moved next to Sora, wrapping his arm around Sora's waist.

"Riku...we're finally together again, I'm so happy!"
Right when he said that, the island popped up on the monitor. Sora reached over and pressed a few buttons so they could land. He looked up at Riku who was hugging him around waist and grinned.
"I'm glad Namine helped you out, we'll have to thank her soon!"

Riku looked at Sora and pulled him away for a second. "You know Namine?" He was getting confused now and was quite tired of confusion. He looked ahead at the screen and saw Kairi on the beach. "Look..its Kairi.." He sighed. He didn't like Kairi much, but only tolerated her for Sora.

Riku looked at Sora as the ship landed. "We're home!" Riku pulled Sora's hand and ran with him off the ship. He stepped off and saw someone on the beach. "Whos that?" He tried to get a better look.

"Oh that's Cloud and Leon. They're checking up on things here, Cid made another gummi ship for themselves."
Then Sora turned around and saw Kairi running toward them and gave Riku a big hug. She gave a large grin, "Riku! You're finally home!" she squeeled. Sora scratched the back of his neck, but smiled at Kairi anyway. "Hey Kairi, we're back."
Kairi let go of Riku and hugged Sora too, with a skip in her step. "Oh Sora, I'm so glad you found him! Now we're all finally together!" she held Sora and Riku's hands and pulled them closer to Cloud and Leon.
"Look guys! Riku is back!" she said excitedly. "Isn't this great?"

Riku looked at Kairi and put on a fake smile. Again, he didn't like Kairi, but put up with her. "Yeah..I'm home..eh hehe..." Riku turned and looked at Cloud. "Hey Cloud! Long time no see!: He gave Cloud a gansta-like handshake and smiled. "What have you been up to?"

*Cloud smiled as he shook hands with Riku*
"Pretty good - better now that Sora won't be moping around all the time... Heh - kidding Sora, kidding... Oh right! Riku, you got back just in time for the Paopu Festival - have anyone in mind to go with?"
*He flicked his eyes over to Sora, and then back to Riku with a tiny smirk.*
Heh... if those two aren't meant to be together, than I don't know who are... Kind of reminds me of me and...
*Cloud trailed off in his mind, and mentally shook his head.*
No. Not going there.

Leon was leaning on the tree next to Cloud. His head was down and his eyes where closed but he did raise his hand to give the new couple a wave before placing it back in it's previous postion, folded arcoss his chest.

Cloud glanced over at Leon, silently wondering what precisly had happened to him in his past that had made him so cold... assaid from the fall of Hallow Bastion. The others might not remember, but he could - he remembered how a boy (teenager?) named Squall had suddenly turned to ice one day, a long time before the Heartless came...
...I remember when I used to be like that. But then they all helped me... now I can smile, sometimes. I can be happy. She... she wanted me to be. Wants, I should say, now that I know she's alive. Gah... I've really got to get used to talking about her in present tense... Riku's lucky he has Sora - he reminds me of her... he'll be able to heal him.
note: Artherith/Aeris was Cloud's friend - not a romantic intrest.

"Oh yea, I completely forgot about that! Well maybe I could bring-" Sora got interupted by Kairi who hugged his arm. She then squealed, "Ofcourse I'll go with you Sora!"
Sora felt awkward and scratched his cheek a little uncertain on what to tell her. "Um, Kairi I was kinda hopeing-" Sora got interrupted again.
"Wait a minute I'm not dressed yet, you'll have to wait here while I get ready ok? Now don't get too comfortable!" she said as she ran off waving at Sora, "I'll be back in a jiffy!"
"Kairi! Wait!" Sora grumbled as she ran off, he scratched back of his neck. He frowned at Riku, "Hey, it's not what you think I really don't think of her tha-"
"SORA I'M READY!! LET'S GO!!" She then took Sora's hand and started to walk toward the festival. "Donald and Goofy are there too! Poor Goofy doesn't have anyone, but Donald got Daisy to come. Hey Riku maybe you could ask Selphie, she can't find a date yet. Well come on Sora, let's go to the papou bumper cars."
Sora, then finally was able let his voice in, "But Kairi, I want Riku to come with m-" and was interrupted again.
"Ofcourse Riku can come with us! I don't mind at all! Let's go Riku! We can go ride the rides together, I'm sure you'll find someone to share a paopu fruit while we're there too!"
Sora tried to give an apologetic look and really wanted to say something, but he was afraid of Kairi biting off his words. He scratched the back of his neck and was very uncertain on what to do in this situation, he loved Riku, but he didn't want to go and break Kairi's heart, even if he didn't like her like that. Sora then gave a pleaded look at Riku.
"...Riku, do you want to come with me and Kairi to the Paopu festival. I...it would mean a lot to me if you'd come," Sora said blushing a little.

*Cloud stared at Kairi, somewhat open-mouthed.*
By Shiva, that girl is scary- she makes Tifa look positivly shy!
*He turned his head slightly in Leon's direction, and whispered to him.*
"Uh... Leon, is she... normally like that?"
Note: Cloud is usually not around Kairi, so he knows next to nothing about her.
