The touch was soft but not unwelcome. It was something that was comforting to him even while on two legs instead of four. Rising, he smiled warmly back..
"Whatever you say. My wardrobe and I are in your care." He said as he moved beside him with a renewed bounce in his step as they entered the crowd of .all shoppers.

It wasn't what Nataniel had planned, of course. And there was something very off-putting about that fact. It would've been so much better if he'd known Arthur would be across the street from his apartment, looking a complete mess and needing a special brand of guidance that Nataniel felt well-equipped to provide...
But he supposed there was no accounting for random acts of chance. In the future, perhaps he could convince the Mauvian to keep some form of communication with him-

Obviously not. Not after the opportunity that had presented itself recently... There wouldn't be room for things on Arthur's... side in the coming weeks. So this would just have to do. Today he could enjoy the sporadic camaraderie of someone he enjoyed, and that would just be that. There likely wouldn't be another opportunity. He would lead the Mauvian through the mall, selecting what he enjoyed and trying to encourage Arthur to find whatever 'his' style might be, and then he would go home. And they would not meet again.
