Lake Bodom It depends on what type of deck you are running...I run a Warrior deck so I favor warrior cards...if you run a dragon deck then you would more then likly favor dragons...each types have there ups and downs... I'm not asking what kind of cards you favor or what kind of cards are in your deck. I'm asking what do you think is the best type of card.

this question all depends of what you want it for
dragons and fiends are best for beat down
Mage are best for effects
zombie for presence on the field
and so on

You are going off topic here. I'm asking what you think is the best type of monster overall. I think that spellcasters are the best not because they are my favorite. I think they have a heck of a load of combinations they can use.

Right now it's def machines. Their support is silly. And it's not even Cyber Dragon, although his support is is extravagant.
Really, Cyber Dragon is a nice, balanced card. It can be special summoned, yes, but it's only got 2100 ATK. Bottomless Trap Hole, Trap Hole, Ring of Destruction, LLAB. The only real good thing it's for is comboing with the monarchs and warriors.
Anyway, yes: machines. Cyber Stein, Chimeratech, Cyber End, Cyber Twin, Jinzo, Spell Canceller, Drillroid, Reflect Bounder, Dekoichi, Cyber Phoenix. They're all overpowered.
Warriors come in second because they have so many different functions and abilities.

I say warriors are the best. They have some of the best effects and attacks.
