"You are right. I don't have to. I do however want to. You should be able to safely keep food and not have people take things you might put into a fridge or freezer, but people are people. Seeing as some officers apparently lack manners, for each other and those who have been around longer than them, I'll make sure you're taken care of in that regard." Simple as that for him. He didn't mind handling it, it wasn't that big of an issue to him. He just didn't like that it was a need but he understood it.
"If you were a supermodel...I don't think it would fit so well. I think you look just fine as you are. I can't say I knew you as a civilian in the past." So he couldn't compare and see if he looked the same, or what changes there may have been.
Grasping the bottle he wanted, and having to tip it forward from the top in order to get it out of it's row, he shook his head. "It's ok. I'm used to it. Reaching high things isn't easy. I've gotten used to it." People didn't exactly stop and help him in the grocery store or a convenience store. He just managed to make it work. "I used to wish I'd been taller. I've gotten used to it over time." And learned to not complain, or pout, as he did when he was a child. He even got used to the family nickname for him - Tink, short for Tinkerbell.

"I could deal with being a bit taller. Get mistaken too much as younger than I am. Doesn't make finding people easier. With all the hair I still don't have anything like a beard to make me look older." He rubbed his bare chin as he set his drink and a rocket pop on the counter and paid. Taking them, he waited for Beni and left the store together.
"Do you always patrol alone?"

"I've been mistaken as younger than I am as well. I'm in the same boat." Which he was, for the most apart, ok with. He was ok with his height though a bit more wouldn't be bad either - so he could reach things.
Paying for his own drink he followed after the other. "Mmm, I do. Once in a while someone will join me but my team has been caught up in real life, so they've been absent really." Uncapping his drink he took a sip slowly, thinking to himself for a few moments.
"It's rare I have to worry too much about what I may come across at night. One or two senshi, or knights, isn't too bad and that's rare." He wasn't so scared of eternals, or their knight equivalent, as he was equal in power even if they did have magic. He had his own brand of magic and a weapon to stab them with.

"Do you prefer it?" He asked. "Patroling alone?"
He said as he unwrapped the rocket pops I let from its wrapper and popped it in his mouth.
"You have so many under you now. I always thought it would be more like having having someone to train all the time." He never had a team. Even as a general, he never took anyone under him.

"And yes it feels like I have no one sometimes, even when my own cousin is a lieutenant." Shrugging his shoulders as he spoke softly. "It doesn't feel like too many as so many have fallen to their civilian lives. I do understand that being important, if we don't maintain it what will we have if this war ends in our life time. But some seem to have abandoned this fully." Or perhaps he'd just not seen or heard from them- he'd been abandoned.
"Some nights I wish I did have company and others I'm ok being on my own. It depends I suppose. I go out sometimes hoping to run into someone and run into no one, not even a senshi or knight." Glancing over to the other he shook his head a bit.
"It seems that at this rate the war will never end. No progress has been made...the tug of war game hasn't been played in a while. It seems like little spats that are one on one and little else. No real fights or deaths - nothing. Stagnation." And he doubted he could go and rekindle some fire, kick a hornets nest, and not get in some form of trouble. But something had to happen and the sooner the better. But what and how? Why had they never struck back, truly, after the other side had invaded their personal space. They had just...done nothing.
"Do you want a team one day?"

"But those who look too much in their civilian live start to make their time as an officer more like a hobby or quick chore. There aren't many truly dedicated to the cause and there isn't that kind of heavy pressure around. Not like how it used to be."
He didn't comment on a life after the war. He was a half-youma and if the war ever ended, he'd remain in the Negaverse.
"Sometimes no progress means you are keeping things from getting worse. But if you want change, you need to take risks and do something dirty. Something that rules the other side into action." He glanced at the general. "Something awful." He said with a smile.
"I never had a team. I wonder if I'll be even good at it. I never was much if a leader but I did spar and train a few officers here and there. The more I see lazy officers and those unable to defend themselves, the more I feel the values from the past slipping. I want to do something about it. Even with a few people."

"I agree. There needs to be a balance I think...and sadly many favor their civilian life over their duty here. I wasn't around as long as you but I do know it wasn't like this when I first joined either. I don't even know when it started to change...slowly I figure." Otherwise he'd have noticed it sooner, seen the change, it would have been sudden and dramatic and it hadn't been.
"Perhaps officers are picking the wrong people? Not training them enough? This is happening for a reason." How many new officers did so little it wasn't worth giving them the power they had? Then they somehow, over time, ranked up and brought in more people like them? Perhaps that was the issue instead.
"That is true...but I'd rather we make some steps forward. We didn't strike back like we should have...we would have in the past. Instead...new leaders and a school." Shrugging he ran his fingers through his hair, loosening his bangs from the hair holder he used to keep his hair from his face.
"Perhaps it's time you work on a team. Carefully pick people, groom them, and make them what you and the old guard were and still are. I know I've failed." He tried to make them a family but when he had plans...that was when things went to hell. He wanted them to get close so they could work well together. it all failed.

"You haven't failed fully unless you give up. There are always new officers. You can try again. If you want, we can have our teams be trained under both if us. A way to ensure a system of checks and balances to fill in our mutual weaknesses - if that appeals to you."
He finished the red section of his popsicle and continued to the white. " We could plan our own assault. I have an idea but I'll admit it's unsavory and lacks any sense of good or pride. It would stir things up by attacking at a sensitive weak point if the senshi and even possibly rile up the knights into action. It just requires destroying some potential resources "

"You're right - you are." But it still felt like he'd failed at times. He'd had members leave, die, try and kill him. But he still had a team and he stilled tried. "I'd like that. It'll also give everyone a feel for other people - for different styles of doing things." Which would be beneficial, he figured, for everyone.
"Oh? What have you got in mind? You do know a bit more about the other side than most. If we stir things up perhaps we can take a step or two forward in this war. I don't think I'll make a good looking General at sixty or seventy years old. I'd like to finish this before then and remove the other side entirely." And if they could get the other side to act than perhaps they could push towards a victory, slowly, against the senshi and knights.
Sipping his drink, slowly, he took a moment to look the other over. "It is nice to have you back. Perhaps your knowledge will help turn things more in our favor. It was rather surprising when you changed sides." Wolframite had a reputation for being rather violent against senshi and knights, something he'd admired in the early days of him being in the Negaverse. He was someone the other side feared - he was sure of it.

"Really? I thought it was a bit unsurprising considering the fallout of the White Phoenix operation against the Dark Moon Court. Zinkenite and Metallia were not fond of my actions. I was bitter and selfishly feeling justified. I also worried about being taken care of or - or Bismuthite being punished in some way." He admitted, faultering at his ex-husband's name.
"No one seemed to notice much. Too many new faces. The old ones well, I wasn't that much of a key figure." He admitted, looking at Beni. "A lot has changed. I didn't want to change with it. Now I need to." Now he had to and frankly, he didn't have the fight to keep up the oldest ideals when not even Metallia appreciated it.
"Cats." He said simply. " Nothing unites the senshi and knights together but there is a misconception among the knights that they vow and serve the senshi. By association, targeting the senshi is the best solution. Everyone feels Chibis and cats are untouchable. If we trap a group of guardians and kill them, it shows we are at a point where we no longer need to care about resources and that we are serious. The guardians would become more paranoid and aware they can be targeted. It could slow their actions and thus slow their production of senshi. If the senshi get upset by what would feel as a sacred members of their group,they could retaliate. If the senshi de ide to guard their guardians as a precaution after, it makes the guardians slower by having to keep pace with a human and actually makes more of a signature for the cat. Even better if we leave th bodies someplace the senshi would find them or let a guardian escape with a message." He said as he finished the popsicle and tossed the wrapper and stick in a nearby bin.
"Attack a tender part of their heart. That could stir them. I know there would be plenty upset on our side if our guardians were harmed."

"To be honest I wasn't aware of everything that happened during your operation. I heard bit and pieces but I wasn't involved in it. I understand, with what knowledge I do have, why you had an issue with the dark mirror court. Events I wasn't around for. But I can understand it." Given what he did know of it, from bits and pieces he'd heard and read. He knew there were members who were clueless about what led to Wolframite's dislike, and hate, for the dark mirror court. He'd had no issue with them, or what they'd once been before that, so he was without such dislike for them.
"I would have been worried also, for myself and my partner. It's why I have kept mine in the dark about everything. It's become difficult - nearly impossible at this point. I'm lucky it hasn't ruined the relationship." Though he had a feeling it would all boil over at some point, sooner rather than later. The fact Aiden hadn't confronted him yet was a shock. He was, perhaps, lucky. Alexandre just didn't want to involve him; didn't want to worry him. He knew if he told Aiden the other would just worry over him endlessly any time something in the city happened, and going to events would just hold more meaning to them. Events in the city were never harmless fun and pleasure. It would ruin things. But he was already hurting the relationship and he knew it - felt it.
"The old ideals have slowly faded out...in some ways I miss them. In some ways it's made things easier. Though it does come with it's problems. Untrained and uncaring officers...ones just vanishing and being useless - just a number." How many would actually turn up for a fight and how many could fight? How many weren't scared to kill? This was what he didn't want to bring Aiden into. Even if he trained him he didn't know if he was cutout for it. He didn't want him involved in something that was lacking, where those around Aiden might be just as untrained and unreliable. It was too much of a risk.
As the topic shifted and Wolframite proposed his idea, his target, the ashen blond nodded his head. "I always did dislike their cats. Bringing little children into a war. They aren't even teenagers and considering what we've both seen - and done." Shaking his head he snorted once, lifting his nose right up into the air like the snob he still was.
"If you want to go cat hunting I'm interested. I wouldn't mind finding a few of their kind and kidnapping them. It would send a strong message to them, both the senshi and the remaining cats. Maybe they'll watch their backs more closely in the next big battle..." Ohhh, he liked the idea. A little too much perhaps? The drop in his voice, and the tone it took, might just be a clue to how much he liked the idea.
:If they take to protecting the cats it means the senshi is easier to deal with as well. They'll be busy watching the cat with them...and distraction works well against them. Mmmm, yes. The idea is very nice. As for leaving the bodies...do we want to just haphazardly dump them in a pile...or make a show of it? Display them somehow?" Tapping his bottom lip with the tip of a finger as he turned his focus onto his companion for the night. This was a nice idea, and he was happy to find someone else who wanted to do what he'd wanted to for years - remove the other sides cats.
"Some on our side won't like it. Cats can be turned to our side....a resource of the other sides that we can turn into our own resource. But....I do like using them as a tool to rile up the senshi. Most of them seem to lose focus when angered and pushed. They act blindly."

"Human bodies can be paired with a cat if any show up but the cats. I'd like a pile in the park. They visit there often. A lot of cat bodies will be a good message. Their markings show that enough. Could even take pictures incade the cops clear the bodies too quickly. Make it clear we were the ones to have done it. Not sure if they even keep tabs on their cats or not." He thought.
"I never liked the Chibis. I've collected energy from them before and have no issue killing them. It is a mercy to them to keep them from growing up stronger and more experienced then the rest but still sadly brainwashed. We can't corrupt such useless children. I haven't seen many as of late. Maybe they have seen the uselessness of such a move."
"Those on our side need to realize we need to be cruel to cause action. Too many want to dance around the darker issues of war and keep their hands clean but they are kidding themselves that they can't out forth that kind of effort and leave the rest of use to clean out the trash."
But he could do that and expected to do it as Special Operations.
"I'd like to skin one." He said with a grin. "A guardian, but I'm sure our cats would hate me if I went that far."
"So I'll contact you once I speak to our Mauvians about the issue. I don't want the entire support if the guardians against me. I need to argue my point first."

"Making a show of it isn't a bad idea. Vlad Dracula liked to mount bodies on pikes...so his enemies could see...a way to convince them that war wasn't such a good idea. Keep your enemies troops feeling...demoralized. Maybe doing similar with some cats can do similar." It wasn't a bad tactic, it was a good one really. He liked it - a lot. Now they just needed to get some guardian cats.
"Mmm...the little ones. I dislike them but I don't like to kill them. I'd rather try and get them to join us once older. If I can play it that we care about them being kids, and won't make child soldiers, but their side will throw them into a war...it is a nice way to play things and spin it in our favor perhaps." While he'd not managed to bring any children over, once they grew up of course, he couldn't picture killing a kid...even though they were a senshi and they would grow stronger. It was just a moral hang up he had at times.
"I doubt their side has made less of them. Right now things seem slow...so perhaps they are just not interacting with us as much. Too busy with their own." Training or being brainwashed. "Too many in our own camp haven't been in bigger battles...surrounded by the senshi and knights. They don't have blood on their hands and if they do it's not much likely. You broke me in to that. I got used to it after that night."
Smiling he nodded his head. "That sounds good, you can toss a note on my desk whenever you find out what you need. I wouldn't mind skinning one either but I have a feeling my own cat would kill me in my sleep - she has sharp claws. Also, expect a mini freeze and mini fridge soon." he'd see to it the other was taken care of. He was glad to have Wolframite back in their camp. He was an asset and one who had the hands on training many didn't. They needed him.
"Get back home safe and get some sleep. We'll talk soon."

He gave a smile and a playful bow at the general. "Of course, Sir." Confirming the order.
"And do the same. I'd hate to loose you after we just started making plans." He grinned and turned off, heading to find some energy before he had to hitch a ride home.
