Shukata Kujiko

Shukata suddenly put on a satisfied smile. "Well, it looks like I win!" He said with a laugh as they approached the garden and the beautiful flowers held therein. He hadn't expected that he picked the correct direction, yet here they were at the entrance to the gardens. He continued to walk forward with her hand in his, looking at all the flowers with that same little smile on his face. They were shaped like hearts, how coincidental. "And look they're shaped like hearts! I bet this garden is pretty big."

Shukata had to chuckle at the irony of the situation he found himself in. Just a few hours earlier he was sure Claudette thought he was nothing more than a b*****d of a teacher with dangerously unorthodox teaching methods. While her feelings toward him had changed he had to admit that the initial impression he'd made was not the greatest of examples of model behavior. Now here they were holding hands and strolling through the school garden. "Quite the romantic setting too." he replied to her comment about being better with someone special. He gazed at the flowers a bit as they progressed through the garden then looked back at her and noticed her blushing. That made him laugh a little. "You're absolutely adorable when you blush like that."

Shukata laughed as he was tugged over to some tulips that Claudette was particularly interested in. He watched her silently with a smile on his face as she admired the flower. It was clearly a favorite of hers. When she spoke she was still blushing. Her voice was sweet and she spoke modestly. He smiled a little bigger at her words. "You are very modest, Claudette." he said softly. "I think you're cute. But in the end the only person's opinion that matters is your own." he said, gently brushing a bit of her hair away from her face.

"A far cry from how you were feeling when we first met." he said with an oddly gentle chuckle. He looked down at the pedal in her hand and glanced at her sincerely. An odd batch of feelings really. They didn't know each other well at all, and Shukata wasn't the type of person he thought a girl like Claudette could feel this way for. Nontheless he would look at it as a positive thing, as it meant hebhad some redeeming qualities.

"You drive a familiar feeling into me, Claudette. I cam't quite explain it to you because well, I feel I still need to come to terms that I even can feel this way about someone." he said as he too gently touched the tulips pedals.

Shukata graced her with a sympathetic smile. He reached to take her other hand in his and unexpectedly, he kissed her forehead. "Is there anything I can do to mske you feel settled, then?" he asked, his voice came out smooth but innocent. It was clear both by his tone and his expression that he genuinely wanted her to feel safe and comfortable with him. He understood what he was feeling and the last thing he wanted was to overwhelm her.

Shukata scoffed a bit though he hadn't meant to do so in an offensive way. He simply remembered what it felt like to be unfamiliar with how one's own heart acted. As she rested her head on his chest he wrapped his arms around her and took on her scent, closing his eyes and holding her close. "You should only act on it in a way you feel is right for you, Claudette." he said so softly it could send pleasamt chiils down one's spine. "The feeling you have now could be the beginnings of love. You feel attached, connected. The same way I feel right now." he said. He pulled back a bit and rested a hand gently under her chin, lifting her head so he could look directly into her beautiful eyes. "But you need to follow your heart. I cannot tell you what to do with it."

Shukata nodded and placed a hand gently against her cheek. "It's something that can blind even the strongest of gods. There's no force stromger than love." he said softly, looking right into her eyes. He smiled then and leaned forward. "But one must decide for themselves whether or not it's worth diving into." he whispered and kissed her lips gently but deeply.
