"Paint night? That sounds fun. Let's do it." Uaithne hoped everyone was of age. Even if they weren't, maybe they'd have soda or something. Then they could just spend their time in each other's company doing something lighthearted and creative. Maybe later they could all get a booth at a restaurant or catch a movie.

Response: While Monet had some more favorable ideas for a time out, the options provided were still able to have something that would hold his interest. With a folding of his hands behind his back, sleek tail winding in a very playful motion, he smiled that bright smile of his, "Oooh a nice restaurant sounds like the perfect place to go~" his voice cooed and oozed.

Response: They were able to make some small talk, but small talk was never really Benedict's thing, so soon after there was a nice awkward pause that allowed him to think about what to do next. All of the choices were interesting. He thought the escape room was a good idea, and movies were too, though there weren't any out that he wanted to see. Mini-golf seemed to be the best way to see how clumsy one's date was... He wasn't sure. But he did know that there was a new restaurant around that he hadn't tried yet. "How about we go and get something to eat? There's a place around here that I haven't gone to but I've heard it's good." He said, sending out the suggestion. Even if he did own a Breakfast restaurant, he still liked to check out all of the others. It was interesting to see who salted what more, or what the changes were between each restaurant.

After all, if someone ate a Chicken Parmesan at one restaurant, the other could make their chicken spicy. One didn't know until they tried it out at least! "At least we can get something in out stomach before we go and try anything else. I wouldn't want to try an escape room while my stomach is growling at me in hunger!" He chuckled a bit, trying to make the atmosphere a bit more relaxed.

Response: Without waiting for a response, he begins strutting over to the food court; it was fantastic that Shipotle was nearby! He flashed a grin over his shoulder. "I just donated so I got enough for us to split a burrito," he cooed. Wasn't he a generous soul?

Response: There was a lot of things to do and so many ideas to choose from at the mall... but that escape room seemed really tempting and her date seemed the adventurer type so perhaps they would help her with it, if she got stuck.

Amadeus listened to the din of the other couples around her, tilting her head idly as they debated on what everyone should do as an activity to spend time with one another. She turned her head to the goblin cutie and smiled, lifting an eyebrow.

"So," she leaned towards her slightly, smiling in the face of the nervous smile the goblin had given her a moment before. "What do you think? I dunno about you, but an escape room is probably not gonna put anyone at ease. We could go to dinner, try to make awkward small talk until the waiters bring us our food and then spend the time not looking at each other 'cause that just makes things more awkward..."

Her eyes gleamed a little, teasing. Trying to put the poor goblin at ease with humor.

"Or we can go see a movie. I can buy you popcorn or something, we can curl up in the middle row and mutually, comfortably ignore each other for a couple hours in the dark." She grinned. "What do you think? Movie sounds good to me. Less awkward small talk, more action."

It was a tough choice to make. There were a lot of good options and things to consider. However; someone had a point—they could eat, relax, have a good time chatting with each other, play games, and when the movie is on, they could avoid any awkward silences! To the ones who chose option three, add +1 to whomever you like! For the others, well, at least there wasn’t a penalty right?

No worries to those who have only posted once or are just now beginning on this little adventure, there are still plenty of rounds to get in the lead or tie!

Prompt Three:
This will end 7/22 at 10:45 PM PST!
Please use the form from prompt one!

When your group walks up to the ticket booth there’s a large crystal driven sign displaying titles of a plethora of films. Upon closer inspection there are many show times that weren’t too far off. What do you suggest?

          A) Bumbling Baphs, a comedy----Everyone loves a good laugh!
          B) Thirteen Nights, a horror---- What better way to have one of the nightmares hold onto your arm?
          C) Crystal Down! an action flick with a lot of bangs and explosions--- It’ll keep everyone awake!
          D) Captain Underkit, an animated kids movie--- Keeping it safe and family friendly.
          E) Surviving the cold A Documentary---What, who doesn’t want to hear about endangered penguins?

Tri listened to the options of movies, he wasn’t up for humor especially if it was slap stick humor and he didn’t want to see a family movie with a predictable plot. Action movie was a possibility but also could be mindless explosion and no story and he didn’t care for horror, he liked something with a bit more unpredictability but there was nothing up. However the next best thing was real life and animals, so he put in his vote for the penguins and as a bonus everyone might learn more about these animals and maybe help...who knows.

Consensus was not a paint party but a movie. Uaithne was up for anything, really, so he was happy enough to go. "We should get snacks," he suggested as they approached the ticket booth. There were five movies playing, each one a different genre. That could make the experience hit or miss, but... "I suggest something light-hearted." No need to make this a negative experience, he added to himself.

They put it to a vote, like they had for their activity. Mischievous voices won out and they prepared themselves to scream. "Thirteen Nights it is!"

They had some time to mill about, buy snacks, use the restroom. They contented themselves with chitchat around one of the arcade games that two of them were playing. A shooter game about zombies. Perfect. Uaithne was having a great time and hoped to make a friend or two out of this. When it was time to go, he went in with popcorn and a slushy, and they sat down inside in time to watch previews before the show.

Amadeus was pleased they opted for the movie instead of one of the other activities. Frankly, even the movie didn't sound thrilling to her, but in a group, it was one of the more manageable activities. She trailed along with the gobbo as they followed the group into the theater, eying the offers with a small smirk.

A horror movie, that could be fun. It'd be one way to get the gobbo right into her arms. But given how nervous the poor thing was as it is, she didn't expect it to play well into her plans for the evening. Hm.

"We could do Crystal Down! I haven't heard anything about it, but action movies are always fun..." Not really, not to Amadeus. She much preferred a good psychological thriller, but given the crowd they were working with, she doubted it'd be a safe bet. Vote cast, Amadeus looked over at the gobbo, grinning a little.

"They're a little easier to handle for the first time, right?" She asked, eyes gleaming a little. If the gobbo took innuendo from that, well. She wouldn't correct it.

Mel had been a little awkward until now, but they practically lit up when they saw the movie list. Mel wasn't usually a great fan of most movies but... "Oooh the new Captain Underkit movie!!! It looks awesome, and I love the show...I mean I know it's a kids show but uh, it deals with a lot of serious themes in a way that's both kid friendly and thought provoking and--" They trailed off, blushing slightly.

"I-if you don't mind indulging me, that is."

Response: Benedict shrugged his shoulders. They could always get food at the theater like one of them had suggested. It just would have been better food at the restaurant. When they finally got there, he realized that he wasn't too... keen on watching any of the movies, but C looked the most interesting. He wouldn't have minded the comedy though. But the horror movie? He was walking right out if they chose that. And the documentary? He didn't want to be depressed. "What about Crystal Down? Could be interesting at least." He wanted to add "and it would keep me awake" but decided at the last moment not to. He knew it was mean, but he couldn't help it, that's just how he thought.

Response: Oh, no food right now? Fritz forced a smile, trying not to show the annoyance. "Surree, we can do a movie..." Well crap. Now he had to try and sneak in to a boring movie- Oh! That new movie came out! "Penguins!" he hollered, steps now doubletimed as he plotted the best way to get back ticket check. His eyes flew onto a stub that didn't make the trash and a smirk came to his mouth. He just had to look like he ran out to get something real quick.
