Gorosei thought for a while about what she said. His expression didn't change, but he did look away from her as he processed everything. What a terrible predicament she must have found herself in. To have dealt with multiple attempts to take her life, and further more, to have everyone who she had connected with see her as a villain. Maybe that was why she was so cautious. She could have seen him as another would-be assassin who had come to try his hand to depart her soul from this world. The thought made his stomach tighten up.
After he had thought about all of the information she had just given, he finally spoke. "In my perspective, that statement is biased," the Painted Fox stated bluntly, with a much flatter tone than he had been using prior, conveying that he disagreed with the way she viewed herself. "The way you live your life doesn't depend on the world, it depends on your will. If you don't want to be in the situation you're in, you have the power to change it. If you don't then it just shows that you might secretly like the way things were," his voice had returned to it's lighthearted tone. His words may have come out harsher than he intended, but they were meant with good intention.
"After all, you don't seem like a bad person, despite everything that happened. Even if others see you as corrupt, you only did what was necessary, right?" Gorosei smiled at her with his head tilted slightly. He was trying to break through her cold demeanor to get her to lighten up. Even if it wasn't going to work, he felt it was his duty as a member of her race to at least try that much. He was being sincere. Although he didn't agree with her actions, he did recognize that sometimes there are necessary evils that had to be done for the greater good. All is fair in love and war, as they say. He wondered who the tyrant she was talking about was. If it was a parallel world, maybe the one who she was talking about was someone who posed to be a major positive influence in this world.
"And how I know you're not corrupt is by the way you want to protect her." He pointed at Saya. "Someone who is corrupt wouldn't be so adamant about protecting the life of someone else. And they especially wouldn't go out of their way to help them get stronger," Gorosei added, revealing that he had assessed the situation to an extent that might have surprised Queen. One of his six tails, resting behind him, wrapped around to the area in front of his legs and began to swish around on the ground, leaving behind a trail of black paint where it touched. Within a moment or two, it had left an incredibly detailed image of a rose, all without ever looking at what he had been painting. He reached a hand out and touched the paint, a series of red electrical-like sparks traced the paint before it rose up and gained color, manifesting into an actual rose.
Gorosei picked up the flower and smelled it, sighing with pleasure as he did so. He reached out and offered the rose to Queen. "We are not plants," he stated vaguely, motioning for her to smell the manifested paint-structure he had produced. Should she take a whiff, it would not only feel real, it smelled pleasantly like the flower it was mimicking. "We are beings of intelligence and willpower that surpasses plants and animals alike. We have the power to change how we see ourselves, and even further to change how the world sees us. You survived whatever happened, and here you are. Tending to a child, raising them in a way. However you choose to view yourself, you're not as corrupt as you think."

Eliza just stood on the tower her tail swinging back and forth as she watched Saya on the ground in a crater "I really don;t think i will snow white" she laughed "But i am curious what you think will work" she stated as she just crossed her arms again letting Saya come at her only for her to cut her into four pieces, which the pieces landed on the floor of the tower, of course this victory of Saya wouldn't last long as the four parts would just turn into giant unidentified blobs of pink which seemed to fly back into one another as if something was pulling them together, almost nearly Eliza would form back with a smirk "You tried once...and it didn't work...what made you think two swings would work?" she asked as she had her tail swip under Sayas feet completely throwing her off her feet, to the point she was sideways to Eliza, once she was Eliza would send a kick towards her to force her in the direction she kicked Hard "Make sure you relax when you hit something" she called out.

_________________________________________ Queen sighed as she heard him call her statement biased "Everything is biased...but what I said it true, and even more proves my point that you don't know what my world is like, You know what happens to those whom choose to not be this way...they die...most of the time, by my own hands" she explained "and as for having the power to change it...in my world there is only one power...and thats the tyrant, every powerful being that has fought him, DIED within moments of the fight starting, there is no power to change it, its why the world is what the world is...because no one has the power" she told him bluntly. his means of talking only further made it clear that the only reason why this world wasn't like it was, was because of the tyrant not being there, but it also reminded her of how naive this world's beings were. "necessary...no, i don;t think it was, I could have left them alone...or simply just ignored it, like everyone else, they didn't need to die but it was killing two birds with one stone, stress relieve and removing my species from the world" she told him as she continued to watch the fight, including when saya was sent flying once again. "the reasoning why she is here and training is nothing the concerns you...and for all ill intensive purposes...she may very well be training to kill this worlds tree" she told him "I killed her parents infront of her, why would i want to protect her?" she stated bluntly as she glared back at him. "and the reason why im not training her, is because i'd kill her with just hitting her with my hand" she told him "and wheres the fun in that sort of training" she added before he offered her a flower which she looked at and sighed the flower despite she didn't grab it would soon ignite in a black flame "plants can be removed...people can be manipulated, and i don't want to have the world see me differently, this is whom i became because of my world, its only Fit the world see's the monster they created, much like i will get to see the world burn and fall into chaos worse than it already is" she finished before turning back to the fight "you remind me of the former elder in this world, always tries to see the positive in everyone, it was extremely annoying" she finished. Despite her cold words she was simply playing her part, true there was more to her actions than she stated and even more so regarding what actions she made, she definitely wasn't someone whom was evil, but she sure as hell played the part to make sure things go the way she planned.
(she's one of those ultimate cookies to crack lol only a select few actually get to experience her caring side)

The Painted Fox winced in empathy as Saya was sent flying, ignoring Queens glare. He had to agree with the kishin.. She should take a moment to relax. Letting your emotions cloud your judgement in a battle causes more complications than one might think. Especially in a battle against an opponent who is out of your league. It's better to breathe and think rationally, plan out your moves before you make them and account for any counterattack that might come your way. Of course, that was just the way he saw it. Different people had different ways of thinking, and some people would rather make decisions in the heat of the moment.
His eyes wandered over to his flower as Queen set fire to it. Rather than burn like normal flowers would, it dried up and crumbled to dust, floating away in the wind. Goro watched the spectacle with a blank stare before pouting momentarily, then sighed before his usual smile returned. "You know," he began, his tail swishing around on the ground again. This time slower, and in a way that hid the art as it painted. "I can't even imagine what your world must have been like, but I do know one thing. If you had opposed that tyrant, you would have died, right? The way I see it, you didn't have much of a choice. Personally I probably couldn't have made the choices you made. I would have fought back, and I probably would have died in the process."
Gorosei paused and pointed a finger at her, emphasizing the point he was going to make. "And a life lost in vain is a waste. Maybe one day you'll be strong enough to go back and defeat the monster who destroyed your world. And that alone would be worth all of the sacrifices that were made," he continued, his tail had stopped moving by now and was just covering what he had painted. "I guess we're more like plants than I gave us credit for. See, the beautiful thing about plants is that even if you remove them..." Gorosei moved his tail, revealing that he had painted several flowers on the ground, of various shapes and sizes. He touched the edge of the paint as he finished his sentence, the same red current sparking around the ink as the flowers sprang to life.
"...is that they always find a way to grow back. There have been many forests destroyed by the advances of humans over the years, but nature finds a way to persevere. Flowers continue to bloom, grass fills in the patches, new trees sprout from the soil and, in time, the land that was laid to waste is back to its former glory." Gorosei chuckled a bit. "Things are never as black and white as we make it seem. Just because you don't want this world to see you differently doesn't mean you're a bad person. Even so.. The world you came from is what made you who you are, right? So why punish this one? Are you trying to protect yourself, or are you trying to protect the rest of the world?"
His eyes had lost their normal jovial glean, revealing that behind his childish optimism was a deep well of wisdom gained from the years he had lived and the intelligence he hid. When she mentioned that he reminded her of the former elder, Gorosei was stunned for a moment before a soft, sad smile stained his face. He looked away from Queen then, towards the flowers he had sprouted as he let them dissolve back into paint, using his abilities to move the ink away from him and let it form a black puddle a few feet away. "There's always a small glimmer of hope." His voice had gotten an octave or two quieter. Goro was remembering the former Elder. He had liked her a lot. She had a lot of positive energy, and never treated him like the outcast that the rest of the Tree had.

_________________________________________ Queen sighed "Death would have been a much easier choice to make in our world, the world is tiring, danger at every corner, you dont get sleep and you have to train your body to survive the impossible...only for you to remember it still wont be enough" she stated hearing him mention he would probably have resisted. she remained Quiet as he spoke even saying if she beat the tyrant the sacrifices would be worth it "They weren;t sacrifices...theres a difference between sacrifices and murdering for ones own purpose" she stated "and in my world Sacrificing is what we call actions done by idiots" she stated as he would explain that plants find a way to grow back "Well, when you get to see my world you'll be sorely disappointed...There is no life left, all the plants have died out and are only alive in some places...and those places are near the brink of destruction, Mother Nature is a being in our world, she helps preserve life and even was the reason it flourished...but she was one of the 'idiots' tried to fight the tyrant and died before she even stepped foot in his city" she stated bluntly "which is nice for this world, as i haven't seen a mother nature yet" she muttered. before he would finish his speech "protect....no I was sent here to destroy this world, something i don't exactly feel the need to do, I've already seen the future this world holds, and its exactly like my present but with a different tyrant" she told him "IF i am to protect someone, i'd only put them in more danger, afterall, when your wanted dead by an entire world, being smart is better then protective"

"Even if it wasn't willing, their lives were sacrificed for a cause," Gorosei shot back immediately, this time not taking the time he had been to weigh her words against reason, but waiting until after she had finished before speaking. "I want you to think about something. Look at her," he pointed at Saya then. "If this world does is destined to become exactly like the one you're used to, then she would be the one reason you may have to fight back instead of giving into the darkness." Goro's tone was flat. His thoughts weren't focused on their conversation like he had been before, and as such his filter had left him. He was speaking his mind without weighing how Queen would react, but subconsciously he had tensed his body in case he had struck a nerve to where she would hit him.
"Why would you be wanted dead by this world? If you only committed genocide in your world, then this one wouldn't have any reason to hunt you. Then again, I only just met you. I could be wrong. Maybe you are a monster." His eyes went wide and a hand shot up to cover his mouth when he realized what he had said. Gorosei's eyes glossed over slightly, as if he were on the verge of tearing up. When he spoke again, his voice was soft and timid. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean that."

_________________________________________ Queen rubbed her temples "again theres a difference between Sacrificed and pointless" she stated bluntly. as he would speak mentioning saya was the one to fight back "and this is why you don't jump into other peoples lives without knowledge" she stated as her hand got coated in Darkness "In your perfect and nice world, you dont know much about corruption and Darkness" she told him "My world is different, You either get consumed by madness or you embrace it, This Darkness that you think i can avoid from giving into, is something i embraced Long ago when i was a child, it aint something that can be undone" she told him as her darkness faded away. "as for her, When the world here falls, She wont be here, she'll be back in our world, doing what she wants to do, be it falling into darkness like me...or fighting back" she told him "right now i'm just making sure she will make the choice" she bluntly added.
As he spoke about this world not wanting her dead "oh really, you think my only acts are from my world, I released a kishin...that kishin is the reason this world falls" she stated smirking "And in the future, I'm quite well hated...so much so i'm one opf the most wanted...besides the kishin of course" she stated before hearing herself be called a monster this made her ears twitch "At least as a Monster, I can live by my own code...and i dont have to live like an idiot hero whom risks their lives for others"

Saya felt her feet swept off the ground as Eliza once again used her tail attack to throw her off her balance. The only warning Eliza got that something was different about this attack was Saya's brief smirk as she met Eliza's eye before her kick to the stomach. Saya was launched backwards but suddenly disappeared, reappearing a little above Eliza with a flaming trail leading back to where she had been flying backwards. "Of course I didn't!" She yelled triumphantly, her hands both held palm-outwards towards Eliza. Her entire attack had in fact been a ruse. She had been building up her resonance force as much as possible and while she had been racing towards Eliza and attacking it looked as if she were merely doing it for sword attacks but in truth she had been holding most of it back for this moment. "Take this you big pink jello monster!" She yelled. It had taken her a few minutes to think up that insult and she was damn proud of it. A woosh of bluish white flames exploded from her hands washing over Eliza in a rush of heat. The flames began to twist and swirl around her in a firestorm as Saya put her maximum effort into the attack. Sweat was dripping down Saya's face throughout her renewed assault - the sudden use of her Flame Trail ability changing the course of such a powerful attack plus keeping up her Hardened Armor and using her fire abilities all together so quickly was wearing her out and it was showing. Although impressive, it had taken a toll on the young kitsune. Her face was a few shades paler but there was still a light of resistance in her eyes. If direct attacks hadn't worked maybe fire would?

Hardened Armor - Focusing her resonance force, Saya is able to harden her clothing much like Queen can harden her scarf. Saya's clothing makes taking damage (especially fire damage) a lot less painful and debilitating. She had do this at will but not for very long. It can last for about an hour at most before Saya needs to rest.
Flame Trail - Using her resonance force Saya can accelerate quickly in any direction. She need not be facing the direction she wishes to travel nor does she need to charge the ability in any way. As she moves Saya leaves a flaming trail from both her feet whether she is in the air, on the ground or even over water. Using this technique Saya can dodge ranged projectiles shot in her direction, even jinking tracking projectiles with relative ease.
Holy Kitsune Flame manipulation - Saya was taught by The Queen how to make her own kind of fire. She attempted to mimic the Hells Flames ability but was ultimately unsuccessful. Although unable to mimic it, she was able to create her own flame that is a light blueish white flame in color. She hasn't mastered this ability but she is able to manifest the flames and control them up to and including creating massive firestorms on the battlefield.

Eliza _________________________________________ Eliz's eyes would follow the trail of fire, seemingly pretty quickly, she had seen it enough times that she knew the significance of the fire trail, it mean't she moved quickly. her eyes would move to above her where Saya was hearing her insult her yet Eliza didn't bother moving to dodge or anything. "pink jello monster...its cute...but you can do better" she chuckled as the fire would reach her seemingly coating her entire body. the flames moved around in a firestorm as it continued, unfortunately thanks to her rapid healing abilities despite the damage she was doing they would heal the moment the fire ended, which once it did, Saya would see burn marks all over Eliza's body yet Eliza was still chuckling as she had her arms crossed, slowly her wounds would heal "wooo...that was a good one...definitely not a flame i'm used to..Been hit with normal fire...kitsune fire...black fire...red fire...but never blueish white..i think it was...definitely was something i wasn't i was expecting" she chuckled as her wounds would slowly heal. she noticed Saya was getting tired "Its unfortunate this is your limit, Rule 3, control outputs and conserve on some, after all, if this was real, you wouldn't have enough energy to run away" she stated "perhaps in our next little bout, you can focus on controlling your input" she stated as her tail whipped the ground below them causing the tower to crack but strangely the crack only went to Saya causing the ground below her to crumb yet not Elizas "Try and take a nap alright...i'll be waiting up here" she said chuckling "Pink jello monster....no idea what Jello is" she stated chuckling. _________________________________________
Saya's attack eventually faded and she lowered her hands awaiting the result. "uuwaahhh??" She whined as she saw it had little to no effect on the kishin along with the failure of her epic insult. Not only had she drained herself but the output of her attack had left her wide open to another due to the amount of power and concentration it had consumed. "But...I was so sure that would work..." She looked down as the crack went straight to her and started to break apart the ground underneath. "You...don't know what jello is..? She asked in surprise as the ground beneath her gave way. She felt herself fall with the rubble, falling down to earth near Queen. As she fell she sensed the newcomer although his resonance force was completely foreign to her. She tried to use her flame trail to slow her fall but was only marginally successful, the flames gutting and fading quickly behind her. Eventually she spun and focused solely on her Hardened Armor, landing on her feet with a *thud* before falling to her knees. Her Hardened Armor then faded and her clothes returned to normal. After a few minutes she got unsteadily to her feet and turned to Queen. "No fair Queen, you didn't say she was made out of pudding," she complained before looking over at Gorosei. "Oh, hi new person!" She greeted with a friendly wave, still a little punch drunk from her exhaustion.

Goro had remained quiet after Queen finished speaking. He was gathering his thoughts, dragging them out of the memories he had found himself writhing in and back to their normal rhythm. He didn't want to risk saying anything else without filter, in case he went too far and struck a nerve. Instead, he watched the remainder of the young kitsune's fight with the Kishin as he worked to center himself again. She seemed to have used up the last bit of energy she had with that last attack, to which the Kishin didn't seem fazed. He did note, however, that it was impressive by normal standards.
As she fell to the ground, Gorosei stood. He was more than ready to rush to her aid if she didn't get back up. He let out a sigh and visibly deflated with relief when she got up, not realizing that she had braced herself for the impact. He laughed at her comment about pudding, then reciprocated her wave to him.
"Hello there! That was an intense fight you just had," Gorosei seemed to be back to his typical jovial demeanor, relieved to find a friendly face among strangers.
Eliza chuckled "Nope, been trapped for a long time" she stated giving a wave as she would fall. she would walk over to the edge of the tower and hang her feet off, only for her to lay back and simply fall asleep

_________________________________________ Queen continued to watch only for the fight t seemingly end with Saya being forced down the tower to where they were. she sighed as Saya mentioned Eliza being made of pudding "unfortunately she's not, i dont know what its made of, its a combination of a liquid...and solid rubber" she told her as she watched the new arrival get up seemingly ready to go to the aid of Saya which she wasn't exactly happy about, if he had she would have acted quick. "It's better to get some rest, after all your going to be fighting her when your rested again" she told Saya ignoring the interactions between the two.

Saya swayed slightly before she walked over to where Queen and Gorosei were and sat down on a nearby log. "Oh rubber, that explains it..." she replied tiredly before laying down on the log. "Yeah the rubber monster is like, really intense..." she replied to Gorosei. "I should probably come up with a new move or something." She looked up at the sky before looking over at Queen and Gorosei. "How do you beat something like that?" She asked as her breathing slowly returned to normal. Fortunately she was quick to recover as well. "Because like, I tried fire and swords and those are like my two things you know? And neither of them worked."

Using this technique Saya can dodge ranged projectiles shot in her direction, even jinking tracking projectiles with relative ease.
Holy Kitsune Flame manipulation - Saya was taught by The Queen how to make her own kind of fire. She attempted to mimic the Hells Flames ability but was ultimately unsuccessful. Although unable to mimic it, she was able to create her own flame that is a light blueish white flame in color. She hasn't mastered this ability but she is able to manifest the flames and control them up to and including creating massive firestorms on the battlefield.
I'm gonna rework his post layout a bit. Not much, but I'm gonna try some things. If they pan out, then hopefully one of my next few posts will look different lol

Gorosei listened to Queen tell the young fox to get some rest. He wondered if she was going to give her any pointers or if she was going to just send her right back in blind when she had regained her strength. Either way, he couldn’t disagree that she should rest. One of his tails went to work painting in the ground behind him. He bent down, reaching back to touch the ink and send his wavelength through it. In a flash of red spark, he produced a small cushion and offered it to Saya. It was soft and plush. If she was going to rest, might as well do it comfortably.
”Dealing with a kishin is tricky business,” he said quietly, mostly to himself. He has never had the displeasure of fighting one himself, but from the stories he had heard of the monsters, tangling with one often requires more stamina and power than most had access to. However, seeing as this seemed to be nothing more than sparring, there wasn’t much point in saying as much. Personally, Gorosei would have given up by now. As soon as he would have deduced that his attacks weren’t doing any damage, especially when she could regenerate, he would have conceded defeat to the kishin within the first couple of exchanges.
He eyed Queen momentarily, examining her demeanor, wondering if she would relax a bit after seeing how he had intended to make the young kitsune’s resting period more comfortable. Gorosei had a lot of compassion for his race, even complete strangers. His only intention was to watch the training proceed, and help if his input was requested. ”If you don’t mind me asking; why pit her against such a creature?”

_________________________________________ Queen would look at Saya "well the whole point of this is for you to figure out how to fight and adapt on your own, so you'll have to find a new way to fight eventually" she told her as Gorosei spoke up again, also trying to give the girl a chair "remember...don't go near the little one" she stated bluntly not caring if he had wanted to make her comfortable time better. "Simply because it'll be the fastest and easiest way for her to improve, if i didn't think it would work I wouldn't have released the kishin" Saya could easily tell Queen didn't trust the new man and would even see her using her usual tone that she had around others except for her.
+ Weapon Creation: can create two weapons a sword and a giant axe like spear + Armor Creation: can summon up armor that helps protect her from magic and physical damage + Hells Fire: can summon and conjure hells flames which are almost impossible to extinguish + enhanced speed + Darkness Energy formation: can add Darkness to her weapons limbs to extend its reach and do more damage + Four Tail Power: when needed she can Strengthen herself up only when in her normal form she can grow three extra tails, and her eyes change(sign of her change) + Deaths Gift: upon given as a gift power, she can use any Weapon that she gets her hands on, even if the weapon resists they obey her command (only in weapon form and when shes the only one holding) +Black Sakura Petal Dance An ability she gained when going into the future, as she fought a girl whom could summon Metal petals using them to both attack and Defend she seemed to have absorbed this ability into her arsenal. this ability grants her the ability to create black petals which she could use to defend and attack her opponents. he still doesn't understand this power yet so it sometimes doesnt activate.
Saya's eyes widened as she watched Gorosei draw a pillow to life and held it out to her. Before Queen could protest she used the little energy she had left to quickly hop up and take the pillow. "Oh my gosh how did you do that!?" She asked as she gratefully took the pillow and lay face-down on it across the log. She folded her arms under the pillow and turned her head to look up at him. "If I could do that I could make like a rocket launcher or something and take out the rubber snake-worm-human thing on the tower." She looked up at the top of the tower in annoyance before burying her face in the pillow. "Queen don't be so mean he's just giving me a nice pillow," she told her adopted mother, her voice muffled by the soft fabric. With that she lay still, curious to hear Queen's answer to the newcomer's question as well. It was definitely Queen's style to unleash something like that for Saya to train against. Saya almost always took a beating during their training but she had become much stronger because of it. She felt herself becoming drowsy as she listened to the two adults talk. The fight had taken more out of her than she realized. Oh crap, I totally forgot to ask that guy his name, she thought blearily, sleep slowly staring to take her. And tell him my name too...ugh, I'm so bad with people! Her ears lay back across her hair as she thought about her most recent interaction before they relaxed again and she drifted off.
