 Jessica would have delivered more orders, if the tail hadn’t struck her. Her Aura would take the brunt of the attack. Tucking her head in, rolling she was sprung back on her feet. Rapidly going ADS she would fire at the joints of the front legs, and with Feralis out of the way she’s would attempt to cripple it. Years of training Atlas had set her up for this, calm under battle. After firing a few rounds she’s move, firing some more and move on. She wasn’t going to hold still for it, she was seeing what Feralis was attempting and going to do. Jessica needed to hold its attention. "Nova, Noah, Let’s open a window for him!" It would be one of the few times she expected to be listened to, it was one of the few times they would need to. It would then click as she saw what the monster was doing. <********... Nova, Noah, stay on. If you can cripple the damn thing." Ducking down a little she'd press her ear. "Ivory you’re gonna need to catch up. The monster doesn’t feel like holding still." Getting back up she would follow the beast as best as she could, though in good condition she was slightly slower than the rest of her team. 117OoC:

Manticore: 3.0 ┎⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯☀⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯┒ "Let me go!" The female Huntsmans demanded. Angry, hate-filled eyes met Ivory's, as the Faunus attempted to appeal to her. "Beacon?" She repeated, for a minute her expression softening. But then her eyes travelled up to Ivory's ears and her expression hardened again. "I won't fall for your lies, Crimson Fang!" She went to knee Ivory between the legs, followed by an attempt to get free and start running again. It would certainly be a site to see if anyone was in the area to witness it. A Manticore crashing through trees, a young Faunus clinging to its head, while another held on desperately to its tail. Seconds later an oversized wolf and a third huntsman running after them. Certainly enough to give a certain Huntstress pause if she managed in escaping Ivory's grasp. It roared in agony as it ran. Pain. Pain everywhere. Pain in its tail from Nova. Pain in its legs from being riddled with bullets. Then half the world went dark as Feralis stabbed its eye. The beast wasn't ready to give in. It had one more trick up its sleeve as it reached a small clearing. Spreading its wings wide, it leaped into the air and began pumping furiously.   ☆════━━━━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━━━━═════☆ Ivory would go down to his knees. Oh, there was so much pain. His hands would go down to his groan area. Sure, his Aura would make it so that there was no damage, but no man had balls of steel. She would get away for a little bit. However, Ivory was a tracker. He would reach up to his ear, as Jessica was trying to talk to him. "I"m having my own issues over here." His voice would be higher pitch than normal.
He would get to his feet. He would put his mask back up. The past was starting to sneak up on him. Memories of things that he didn't want to remember were flooding back. If the Crimson fang were here, then his tribe wouldn't be far behind. He would start to track her in the forest. He didn't care how much time it took. His job was to protect her, as she was a clue to where the others were. His team needed her, and he was the one that was going to do it.

"Remember that gives me a sore stomach Nova... "
"BOOOOOOORING!!"  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - Nova Primrose & Noah - -
Nova hung on to the beast, in both panic and stubbornness. She looked down at the world below and couldn't find a moment to leap down, so she clung to her blades as they were dug into it's tail, evidently causing it pain. She heard Jessica shouting to open a window but couldn't really see what was happening around the front of the beast. "What do you mean a window?!" she yelled, still making yelling noises as she held on. The beast flinched, something must have hit it from the front. Nova braced as she was shifted back, she looked to the base of the tale and took her left blade and lifted it out from the tail, stabbing it back down higher up. She was planning to climb her way up to the base, just to keep her safe until she could jump down.
Noah raced after them all, he was keeping his eyes glued on his partner should she fall and need him. Watching Feralis hit him right in the face, Noah smirked a little. The wolf faunus had guts, probably more than even Nova - and that was saying something. He continued to chase as she beast charged towards an opening, he watched as it moved it's wings into position and instant fear took over the wolf. "NOVA YOU NEED TO GET OFF!" yelled the old wolf, a loud bark came from him as he picked up his pace.
Nova turned her head, listening to her partner. "Are you kidding? I can't just jump when it's moving so fast!!" she yelled, as she watched its wings open. Nova gulped, her eyes opening as she wasn't expecting what happened next. "Wait.. this thing can-" she had to cling to her blades as tightly as it leapt in the air. "FLLLLYYYYYYY??!?!?!?!?!?" she yelled loudly, as she was lifted into the sky with it.
Noah stopped in his tracks, he was doing it for a reason. Beginning to walk backwards, "Be ready for me Nova!" he yelled. Nova laughed menacingly, considering what was happening to her. Her wolf companion was intelligent where she wasn't, and when they were too far apart, he always came back to her, hopefully his plan would work. "Feralis?! Are you there?!" she yelled, hoping Feralis had somehow caught the front of the beast.
"We could have our first date on the top of a Grimm Feralis!!" she yelled, laughing as she was only kidding.. maybe?

The sound of bullets was almost a constant, but to Feralis it was almost like the buzz of insects. He was far too focused on his current goal; hold on like hell! The chimera had taken off after Feralis had latched onto it's head, crashing through trees and forest brush alike. If he hadn't been as strong as he was he probably would've been knocked off pretty quick, but he stubbornly held on. Though that wasn't to say he was safe here. The thing was adamant on trying to get rid of him, and as it crashed this way and that Feralis was also being hit. He would only grit his teeth in response, determined to stick to this thing till it died. He smiled viciously when he was able to do what he desired; he had managed to stab it in the eye! It was an almost sick sense of joy felt by the wolf faunus to inflict pain on this creature, as his more savage nature was showing. However he soon learned he wasn't alone on it...he was hearing a female voice pretty close...it couldn't be...coul- 'Princess is here too!?' He thought in shock, before realizing it was exactly something she would do...It would be ridiculous to say, but he felt more fear of her than of any Grimm. Thankfully, she hadn't seemed to notice him yet but it had made him pause even as the creature roared in pain before...Feralis felt his stomach drop as he clung to the beast as hard as he could!
'It's flying!?' His mind would scream the same moment Nova would yell fly. His eyes would squint as the wind suddenly picked up, and he did his best to hug tight to the creature to not be knocked off. It was one thing to ride the rampaging chimera through the woods, but Feralis had never been in air. He was a wolf for crying out loud! The closest thing to flying he experienced was jumping down on prey from a tree. As Feralis did his best to hold on and think of a plan of attack, he was disrupted from his thoughts as he heard Princess ask if he was there. He stayed silent for the moment, hoping she would not realize he was...before she said they could have their first date atop the Grimm with a laugh... 'Sorry chimera, but this ride has to end!' He thought in his mind as he would try to stab out it's one remaining eye. There was no way he was going to be stuck up here alone with Princess. The Grimm was honestly an after thought in comparison of threat to her, and he was willing to crash land to the ground on the Grimm if it meant escaping her for a little longer. He had no clue what the others of the team were doing but he didn't care so long as they were trying to get this black beast down. The thought of a date with Princess was terrifying, so the sooner he could get down and away the better.

Jessica heard the change in Ivory's voice change, to which she winced internally. It was a pitch she heard when recruits didn’t wear cups during combat training. "Just...uh...holy ********> Before her eyes the Grimm took off with Nova and Feralis on it. "It took off. The Grimm is flying now Ivory." She didn’t want to fire with it in the air now. "PUT HOLES IN THE WINGS! AIR TRAVELING THROUGH MEANS IT CAN'T FLY!" Shouting up to Nova and Feralis. School never trained this, no one probably even thought of this. There was small panic, some worry, even fear for her team.

She was certainly tenacious. A trait that was normally desirable in a huntsman was proving to make Ivory's life difficult. Tracking her wouldn't be difficult though. The woman was clearly more focused on putting as much distance between her and Ivory rather than stealth, leaving a trail of footprints and disturbed brush. Perhaps she was simply hopping Ivory would go to help his teammates instead of pursuing her further. At first, her path was simply away. Away from the grimm and away from Ivory. But soon it would angle back towards the cabin. The beasts' wings pumped furiously as it struggled to climb higher in the sky. Not only was it badly injured, but it was carrying a lot of extra weight. Higher and higher it climbed. It's hind legs kicked at Nova as she climbed up its tail, each new stab bringing fresh injuries. It was the extra weight back there that was causing the manticore the most grief. Prey was to be carried in the mouth or front legs, not the tail! If only it could dislodge - suddenly the beast went limp. It turned out ignoring Feralis in favour of trying to remove Nova had been a fatal error in judgment. The spike on Feralis's vambrace sunk deep into its eye. Much deeper than the first. ☆════━━━━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━━━━═════☆ Ivory would find his way back to the hunter's cabin. He would unstrap his sheath from his pants. and put it in his left hand. He would sigh. This was the first time he had to go without his mask, while on a mission. He would clumsily use his right hand to pull up the mission specs on his scroll. Once she was inside the cabin, he would enter the same door that she came in, however, the moment he entered, he put his hands up. "I know that we got off to a bad foot. Let's start again.
"I'm going to put my sword on the ground, and kick it towards you." He would slowly move down and place his sword on the ground, and kick it towards her. He then would stand back up, with his hands above his head. "I'm going to remove my other weapon, but I am gona set it on the table. This was it doesn't break." He would take his left hand, and grab his right wrist and twist it. The sound of a suction coming off could be heard. He would then put his right hand on the table with his left hand. "Please don't panic, I'm legitimately with Beacon, and not the Crimson Fang. I hate the Crimson Fang. They treated me like a failed experiment, but I'm a person..." His voice would choke up a bit at that last part. It was the truth.

Nova couldn't really pay any attention to what was happening at the front of the Grimm, the beast was kicking for her and unfortunately managed to catch her thigh with it's nail, causing her to let out a yelp in pain as she wasn't quite prepared. Her leg hung slightly, evidently wounded as she tried to cling on for her dear life, and as everything seemed to slow down, she moved her head to cling tighter to the tail and winced. "I won't let you hurt Feralis.." she said as she then noticed that instead of going up and up, they started to go down.
Opening her eyes to look around, she noticed the beast go completely limp. She was slightly confused at first, and moreso worried for their safety now as it began to turn to dust. "We're falling..." she whispered, panicking now as her head scrambled around for something to catch her. Noah was still on the ground, he was racing after them both waiting for some communication, as loyal as ever to his best friend.
Nova could feel herself begin to fall without the Grimm to hold her in place, she let her arms go out in the air as she looked down at the ground below, things becoming larger as she then caught sight of Feralis, also falling. "Old timer, I need you to help Feralis! Can you help cushion his landing?" she said to him, Noah barked loudly. "Absolutely not, I'm catching you!!" Nova looked under her, she could see some trees in which she could use to stop her fall. "I can see something to help me, please help him!" she said, to which Noah shook his head and continued running past her and closer to Feralis.
Depending on how Feralis landed, or where he took himself, at the bottom would be Noah. Noah stood his ground, he would run and intercept Feralis as he fell just at the right moment, the fall would hit them both harder than they wanted, but if he could cushion some of the fall he would do everything he could. The wolf would do this against his will, not wanting to let his partner fall and potentially get hurt. Noah barked at Feralis as he fell "Feralis! I'm going to cushion your fall, I'll run and catch you just at the perfect time, but prepare for an uncomfortable landing!!" the wolf yelled to him, the large wolf and his fantastic vision would prove handy in getting the perfect moment to jump and catch him into a roll.
Nova could see Noah running past her and towards Feralis, she smiled slightly, delighted that he was listening and going to his aid. She snapped to her current situation and could see the trees below her getting closer and closer, gasping as she brought her arms to cover her face as she fell through the trees at a drastic speed. The sound of crunching could be heard, as the branches snapped with Nova going through them. Her aura could be seen flashing, evidently being damaged as she fell right down.
The trees thankfully help to slow down her fall slightly, enough that the landing wasn't going to kill her. However, she landed on the ground with a very strong thud, and lay still with her eyes closed, extremely disorientated from the fall. Her thigh wound wasn't great, but wasn't awful either, and she was covered in bruises and cuts from the trees. Nova was breathing, but continued to lie still, her body limp on the ground as she tried to regain complete consciousness. Letting out a little cough, Nova sighed heavily. "Ooof… that hurt more than it should have.." she mumbled, as she stayed still again, the world around her spinning as she attempted to open her eyes. She just hoped that Noah and Feralis were okay.

Feralis could not hear the human over the sound of beating wings, adrenaline, and the other sounds of the chimera. Though with the current situation, he was not quite sure he would hear anyone. Except Princess, because that was more important of a threat than anything else. Even if he had heard it, he could not really do much. He was stuck on the face of the thing practically, and if he tried to climb to the wings he could be knocked off. That would also leave him much closer to Princess, which was the opposite of what he was trying to do. So he was just focused on damaging the black chimera as much as he could. 'If I can blind it maybe I can steer this thing...' He thought to himself as he impaled its eye with his spikes. He smiled with vicious satisfaction that he had blinded the thing. He honestly thought that this would be much harder to do. Before he could really take in his victory though he noticed something was off as he grabbed its masked face. It gave no resistance as he turned it. 'Did it submit to me being the alpha?' He thought to himself confused, before he noticed something important. He could no longer hear the flapping of wings. Turning his head to look, he would notice that the wings were no longer flapping. They weren't really moving much and he was beginning to feel weird... "I didn't think you would die that easily!" He yelled out as he realized the chimera was dead and falling. Which meant he and Nova were falling as well. He could already see the chimera rapidly turning to dust beneath him. 'Uh...I planned to use the body to crash land...' Was his last thought before it turned entirely to dust beneath him.
Well...now he was falling and still high above in the air. He...wasn't sure what he could do for this. So he did the most rational thing someone could do while falling from high up. Try to swim mid air or do anything to have some semblance of control over the fall, no matter how in vain the efforts were. He didn't have the slightest idea of how to move or position himself to slow his fall or even remotely control it. It may have been a comical sight if not for the severity of it all. It almost took his entire attention, until he noticed he was not the only one falling. Having been a bit too focused on falling, he had almost forgotten that Princess was also with him as they both were falling quickly to the ground. While they were fairly close to one another, he doubted either would be able to hear each other with how loud the wind was becoming. Not without yelling very loudly at the least. 'How the heck are we going to survive this...' He wondered to himself, for once Princess not being the principal threat. He hadn't quite realized how high up they were when he was intent on killing the chimera. In hindsight, he maybe should've not tried to stab it as much he did if he wanted to control it a bit for a crash landing.
He would be broken from his thoughts as he heard Noah's bark. Though to Feralis, unlike many others, it was much more than just a bark. Noah had a plan to save him? Far be it from Feralis to complain or stop the wolf when he had absolutely no clue what to do here. He had survived decent falls before, but never ones this fast or from so high. He honestly didn't know what would happen if he landed without some type of aid. "I'll take uncomfortable over dead!" Feralis would yell out loud, not at all caring about receiving aid from a trusted wolf. He fully trusted him to get the timing right, or at least try his best. Feralis just wished there was something else he could do. It was then he realized something as he looked to his side. Princess was falling towards a group of trees, and she didn't have Noah to help. He was about to yell when he saw her hit the trees...before he suddenly noticed how close the ground was and closed his eyes out of instinct. The next few moments were a blur as Feralis could't see anything with his eyes closed. Noah would make the jump and catch him...and the two would tumble hard in a roll on the ground. He was not kidding when he said it would be uncomfortable, and plenty painful too. Eventually the pair's tumbling would stop as they were almost tossed from one another at the last minute. Feralis lay panting for breath on his back, slowly opening his eyes and groaning. His aura had sparked a little during the roll, having taken a decent beating from it all. Though it would have been much worse had Noah not helped. As he recovered enough, he would prop himself up a bit with his elbows as he felt sore all over. He was clearly still a bit dazed from it all. "Ugh...You weren't kidding Noah...Oh hell Princess!" Feralis would say slowly at first, before his mind caught up with everything that had happened. And when he remembered that Princess only had trees to slow her fall while he had Noah, he was on his feet and running in seconds despite his body protesting. Normally he would be running away from her and stay away but...he had to make sure she was at least okay. He knew Noah wouldn't chose him over Princess, so something had to have happened. 'I swear if she did something to save me again...' He thought to himself as he raced to her. He had no doubt Noah was either racing besides him or even outrunning him to Princess.

If her voice was audible, nothing but swears would be coming. They won the fight but two team members were up in the world. Noah has sprung into action, Jess being thankful the Wolf was quick on the gun. She could see Noah dart for Feralis as Nova went for the trees. Her heart sank however, watching Nova basically fall out of the trees. "s**t..." Kneeling down beside Nova she would pull out a small emergency med kit. "Alright Princess, talk to me. We got limited supplies right now." Giving a smile as she prepared to clean all the cuts. "This question is important, did you black out at all?" Taking some cleaning alcohol and a cotton ball, carefully dabbing the bad cuts on Nova. "I’m so sorry for the stinging."119OoC:

Would someone from the Crimson Fang give up their weapons to lull her into a false sense of security? She was her team's only hope. It was obvious she wouldn't be able to take him in a fight. Someone from the Crimson Fang would have no reason to trick her like this. Slowly she nodded. "Orchid Moret of team MSRC (Moonstruck). The Crimson Fang have the rest of my team. If you really are from Beacon, we must rescue them." Apparently, she had no worry for her injuries and was more concerned with her captured team. ☆════━━━━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━━━━═════☆ Ivory would breathe a sigh of relief, his steel eyes, would go down to the hand that he had taken off. He would pop it back onto his right arm. The suction was a welcome feeling. He would walk closer to her, and hold out his left hand. "I'm Ivory Maguire, of team MAIN. he would do his best to keep his ears and tail from moving. "We will meet back up with my team who were fighting the Mantacore." He would then grab his ear, pressing a button. "Ivory to Jessica, do you read me?" Is what he would say. If she responded, he would reply with a "I have the huntress, and I've agreed to help her get her team." He didn't want to say the name of the group. It was painful to him.

Noah's body flashed as it took a slight beating from the impact of attempting to help Feralis, he definitely helped soften the blow but it was still extremely uncomfortable at the least. Noah landed on his side and before even a second had passed the large wolf was up on all fours and bounding towards his partner. The wolf was evidently in distress as he ran as fast as his legs could carry him, "Nova!!!!?? I'm coming!!!" he yelled, a whine could be heard from him as he ran beside Feralis, too focused on getting to her to check how he was.
Nova lay on the ground, still a bit dazed from the large thud she had landed with. Closing her eyes she could hear a muffled noise from Jessica but couldn't quite make out what she was saying. This was all destroyed as she felt an extremely sharp pain on her leg, it made her eyes open widely as she let out a loud yelp with the pain at Jessica. "OW!" she yelled loudly, her aura kicking in as she began to regain control of her body. Nova struggled, however sat herself up as she winced when Jessica continued to dab the cuts on her legs. She heard Noah's yell from the trees and smirked, her plan must have worked and Feralis was hopefully in a better state than she was.
"It's not everyday you have your first date on a Grimm!" she said, chuckling to Jessica as she could feel Noah getting closer. She shook her head to Jessica, wincing a little as her head still hurt from the impact. "Nah, I don't think I blacked out at all.." she said, "Although I don't plan to fall from such a height again.." she added, moaning a little as she then lay back down on her back, needing a little more time to rest her body as Noah made his way to her.

Feralis was running as fast as his tired and sore body could manage, only being able to just barely keep pace with Noah but slowly falling behind the wolfs pace. Which he didn't blame him for, if Feralis could he would be running faster. 'I swear if she saved me again...'. He thought to himself but didn't finish it. The damned cat had made it a habit to save him over and over again, and he didn't need or want it. He was a lone wolf for a reason. But he couldn't quite dwell on that for now. One way or another, Noah has saved him and left princess with the worst of the two landing options. So he had to at least make sure she was alright for that. After that...then he could relax a bit. If she died before he could fulfill his debts to her...Well, he wouldn't feel much like a wolf then if he left that unresolved to the grave. 'Plus she would only use that as an excuse to haunt me...' He thought to himself with a shiver. Noah would reach Princess first, followed not too long after by Feralis.
As Feralis arrived, he could see the human over princess and seemed to be tending to her. While she was laying down, judging from the human, he figured she was alive at least. Slowly walking closer, his eyes would stay watching the prone figure of Princess. Noah was very close by her, but Feralis wasn't entirely focused on whatever he was doing. He would give her a long look, his own hair tussled and messy along with his outfit a bit dingier from the crash landing and rolling. "Did you send Noah to save me instead?" He would bluntly ask her, not feeling the need to add anything else past that. He needed to definitively know the answer to this first before anything else. His expression, for now, was oddly neutral. Depending on her answer would depend how that could change.
