“Well, I know I can use it,” Chip replied, “But I haven’t tried to take someone else on it. That’s why we’d need to test!” He nodded some, then rubbed his head against the creature. “But it probably isn’t meant to work for anyone else, since we gotta go into the Guardian HQ to use it.”

“Nah, us Guardians make good stuff,” Chip replied, almost defensively, “Even if it doesn’t teleport you, there’s no way you’d break it!”

Chip then mumbled, “Though, if it did break, then I’d have a good reason to look at how it’s put together...” But he shook his head and perked back up again.

“We should go look anyway!” He announced definitively.

Chip smiled the best devious cat smile he could muster and replied with a happily swishing tail, “I sure can.” Truthfully, it wasn’t sneaking, people could go in, as long as they were accompanied by a guardian, but thinking of it like a stealth mission sounded much more fun.

“If anybody spots you, just meow,” he suggested cheerfully. “Nobody’d notice, I’m sure~”

“Some of us are as big as you, and can walk up on two feet like that, too,” Chip explained after seeing the look, although still laughed at it.

He got himself situated back on Vit’s shoulders and said, “Alright, let’s go! I’ll...probably not get lost!”

He got lost.

Chip was pretty okay with directions, but he was still pretty new to navigating here, so after he got the directions wrong a couple times, he was just completely turned around. Didn’t admit it, though.

“Nah, nah,” Chip replied, waving a paw dismissively. “I just gotta backtrack and figure out where I said the wrong direction, I’m sure I can find it.” As Vit sat down, he hopped off and looked around, tail swishing inquisitively.

“But I’ll do that later,” he concluded. “Naw, now it’s break time!” He pawed at the rug before saying, “Think anyone uses this place? I might wanna set up a workshop somewhere, after all!” He sniffed one of the chairs, then sneezed, making dust float around. “Seems like they don’t...”

“Oh, you don’t have to do that,” Chip said, and bumped his head against Vit. “I dunno what I’d put here...not yet, anyway. But I’d definitely make a workshop. It’ll probably be noisy, with lotsa stuff moving around, like a symphony of gears and machines all working together...or,” He showed his pointy little teeth. “not working together. Boom! Bang!”

He giggled in delight at the idea, and hopped back up onto the big fuzz ball’s leg.

Chip sat on Vit's leg and wiggled his nose a couple times, tail flicking behind him before suddenly, pop! A cat-sized pillow appeared next to them both and plopped on the ground.

"Maybe this'll help!" he suggested. "Don't mind the cat hairs." The little cat giggled and nodded some. "A nice nap sounds like a good idea," he declared. "And a good time to dream up what to stuff in here!"

Chip shifted to a more central spot on top of the big fluff. A warm, gently moving pillow was always appreciated. "Don't mind if I do," he said, gently kneading Vit's jacket before curling up on the spot.

In rather typical kitty fashion, Chip yawned once, and closed his eyes, looking fairly content.
