00 Being called by her alias for the first time is definitely... almost like an out of body experience for her. Yes she did pick that name for herself and all but yet it was still something she didn’t expect it. Maybe it is some sort of a feel of recognition. Though that moment didn’t last long when she heard the screams making her body freeze where she stood. This seems to be like a repeat of the school festival attack. The memories of the event began flooding her mind, flashbacks at the dead bodies.. There were so many of them.. And she even used them so she could escape the scene. Though Haruki managed to snap her out of her deep thoughts before nodding in agreement. ”I can do that.”
They’re in the city park, which is several blocks away from the city’s cemetery and given that corpses are slow moving so it wouldn’t be a smart decision to use them for this task. So she’ll be using the wandering spirits instead. Another pro using spirits over a physical corpse is that the mass majority cannot see them, there are only a few who see the spirits. Pitter patter as she follows behind Haruki and Lawrance though she has a few spirits on their way from the cemetery to aid Marion. Though she needs to keep a timer in her head because if she exceeds that timer, she’ll black out/ pass out.
Trailing behind the other two as she senses two new presence which only means one thing to her, innocent lives are taken, a part of her peculiarity that unsettles most people. The spirit of an eldery from the cemetery approached, as they were summoned by her was able to inform about the stranded child before they even reached near the jungle gym. She quickly turns to both of the boys. Though her expression remained neutral, her tone was underlined with worrisome. ”There is a child trapped on top of the jungle gym where the threatening individual is. We need to distract him away while someone rescues him. She glanced towards the lifeless bodies of the parents as her inner conflict between using their corpse or continue using spirits alone. Though it would be a good idea to use them since their kid is so close by, imagine the trauma he’d face if he sees that. Though she isn’t sure how can wandering spirits be much help to keep the mutant away. Would it actually work? 00

The Myth Buster
Bard, huh? "Your outfit kind of reminds me of a bard now that I think about it." He had an amused smile on his face. "Minus the bandages." He wasn't sure why he got the vibe after Rebecca uttered the suggestion though. It didn't really matter. He was about to make a comment on how most of them wore hoods when the tragic sounds of screams filled the air. The group quickly going from a lighthearted tone to alert.
Haruki wasn't too concerned about Lawrence getting a bit ahead of the group. It didn't hurt to get there as soon as possible. He was just waiting for the scout to relay any important information before making any actual decisions--at least on his end. "Got it." He said just to make it clear he heard Marion. His racing as they continued forward. "Gris," he glanced over to the person in question, "would you mind riding my Griffin over so you can save the child? The Griffin can be the distraction."
When he was given the okay he turned his attention back to Marion. "Follow Brawler. I'll come soon." With that said, he slowed to a stop as he opened a pouch and called out the Griffin's name. "Lucia!" Hazel orbs watched as the grand beast seemed to appear out of his pouch. It's massive claw paws touched down on the grassy ground. "Let me help you up." He said to Rebecca as he stroked the neck of the beautiful creature. Haruki was speaking to the Griffin in another language. At least that's what it would sound like to anyone else. In reality, he was speaking Lucia's tongue. When he finished he looked over at Rebecca as he patted the beast whom promptly laid down to make it easier. He laced his fingers together and held his hands at a good enough height so she could step in them. When they were both ready he would help hoist her up. "Ready? 1. 2. 3." He watched her to make sure she got up there safe. "There. You good?" Haruki waited from some confirmation before he uttered something to the beast who stood. "I'll meet you there." He gave her an encouraging smile as Lucia took into the air. "Be careful!" He called out as he started to run after them--falling behind rather quickly.
Lucia wasn't the type to just let anyone ride her. It was probably allowed in this case because Rebecca and Haruki were friends. She has been one of the people around him more often than others. Thus, there was some type of bond formed no matter how slight. It didn't take long for them to reach the playground. The first to arrive, Lucia landed carefully nearby. Enough out of the way for the human to slide off of her safely. When Rebecca was dismounted and out of the way she took to the sky again. This time she dove right at the deformed human just to slip out of his potential grasp a moment later. The goal was to pull him away from any of the people left in the area--not technically attack. If the Griffin had to tease the angry man again with another dive then she would.

With “Brawler” being their teammate’s codename, that conversation could come to a close. Things were already shifting around to the point where any lighthearted convo needed to cease.
With Puppeteer’s report, Gris knew she could confirm that information if there was any doubt to it. She indeed saw the trapped child at the top of the jungle gym while a human tried prying the metal object from out of the ground. Though, any matters regarding the deceased weren’t brought up. The teenager was aware of some unconscious individuals in the vicinity but had no means of determining if they were alive or not. Why Marion withheld that kind of information would be a mystery.
The masked individual turned to Myth Buster as they spoke about riding some kind of….creature. ”The ones with the corkscrew p****? This better not be a sexual innuendo Myth.” The robotic voice sighed as she gave a nod eventually. No one had time to be picky, even if it meant being on top of a giant feathered bird-lion hybrid. Was it bad that her mind immediately went to the sewers? Naaaa, don’t think too much about it.
When Lucia the Griffin was summoned, Gris appeared to be composed. The hooded head took Myth’s help, using his hands as leverage to climb onto the mighty creature. "Yes." A curt reply was given as she situated herself on the creature’s back. It was an odd feeling for her. She had often heard that people were used to riding horses or some other kind of animal. As for herself, this would have been the first creature that she rode that didn’t involve some form of intimacy. Oh! But let us not forget that Rebecca’s behavior came as a result of a rather sore thing: language. It was a tongue that she had never heard before! Despite her best efforts to learn a few from fellow classmates, trauma was not so easy to overcome.
"Right." The curt response came again as the griffin took to the air. Oh boy, that was a new experience for her too! When was the last time she had been so high? Not that she was afraid of heights but having no control of the situation was a bit….difficult for her. At least the good thing to come out of this was that this wasn’t a terribly long ride. Lucia was a good sport about it when they landed and allowed the teenager to slip off. There was no way the girl was about to just sit there and dilly dally!
She zoomed off quickly! Once her feet touched the ground, the girl darted towards the hulking mass. Lucia was far quicker than her as the creature attempted to distract the hulking mass. Gris zoomed past the man, at least she assumed his gender based on the lack of tatas she could see on his chest. But her attention was on the true prize: the child. With one foot on the playground equipment, Becca jumped around till she could sweep the munchkin off his feet. There was no time to talk when there was a rampaging person behind her. So she held onto the boy and jumped off the jungle gym. The kid wasn’t too heavy as she distanced themselves away from the fight. He was probably the prime individual that was in danger compared to the unconscious individuals.
Setting them down on the ground, she inquired if he was okay. Of course, he had to stop his crying and sniffling for her to hear a decent answer. Depending on what was said, she would tend to whatever bodily wound he might have received. If there was none, she would return to her teammate’s side.

 ＬＡＷＲＥＮＣＥ ♜ ＢＡＩＲＤProfile: Found here ♦ Current Theme: A Shadow to Prevail - Crypt of the Necrodancer OST ♦ Clothes: The usual attire with an added half-mask.╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗It seemed as though Mythbuster would act as the team's leader, giving out orders to the others in the group. This didn't bother Lawrence in the slightest, especially because he wasn't given any particular order. The Scot probably wouldn't have followed any suggestions given anyways, especially since they hadn't had the time to brief each other on their strengths and weaknesses. Pressing on until he came into view of the monstrous figure, Lawrence noted that he had Puppeteer at his back, not sure why the scout would be activating engaging the enemy alongside him, but hey, he didn't know what she was capable of yet.
As the Griffin created by Haruki distracted the hulking abomination, and Gris swept the child up in their arms, Lawrence knew that this was his time to shine. With no more things that could slow him down, save for the people lying unconscious on the ground, the fighter did what he did best. Having closed the gap, Lawrence leapt forward and delivered a superman punch to the monster's left shoulder blade, followed but a series of rapid hooks to the beast's left side. It felt as though he was punching a frozen cow carcass, like in those Rocky films, though that only meant that his strikes probably weren't doing much to the behemoth of a man. Gritting his teeth, Lawrence stepped back, bringing his hands up in a 'come here' motion before returning to a boxer's stance, "Well? 'mon then! Ya melted silly putty lookin' gorilla!" ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

 RampagePeculiarity: Chemical Mutation All the little boy could do was hold onto the jungle gym for dear life and cry as Rampage almost had the jungle gym out of the ground to toss it. Suddenly there was a giant bird like creature after the mutant. Letting go of the jungle gym, Rampage had his attention on the giant creature with wings, swinging his arms around as he tried to get the creature away. As the mutant was busy with the Griffin, The little boy was saved from the jungle gym by Rebecca. Once the boy was safe, he was still sobbing his eyes out from the whole event and after watching his parents die. " I-I am o-okay… B-But… M-Mommy and Daddy!" The little boy sobbed. Another woman who had watched the whole thing happen came running over and picked up the sobbing boy. She looked at Rebecca and gave her a nod, letting her know that she would take care of the boy and for her to join her team. Getting angrier by the minute by the Griffin, Rampage grabbed the titter totter that he had tossed earlier and tried hitting the Griffin with it. He did not even really notice Lawrence punching him at first as he was so focused on creature above him. A groan came from Rampage once he felt the punch and he turned to face Lawrence. With his free hand, the mutant dug into his shoulder bag that was nearly holding into his body and pulled out two more bottles with liquid. This time, the liquid was red. Stabbing them into the same arm as the other two the mutant started to turn more red and bubble up. Loud yells and groans came from the man as he started to get larger by the moment as his skin bubbled and stretched. Once he had stopped growing, his skin was still bubbling a little as steam came from his skin. If one was not careful, they may burn their skin by touching his. Hitting the ground with the titter totter, the now larger mutant ran towards Lawrence, ready to hit him with the titter totter.

The Myth Buster
He nearly cracked a smile at how her mind went straight to the gutter. "The Griffin is a female. I'm pretty sure you met her before." He didn't mention her name since he called it out to get her to appear in the first place. Lucia was the one he usually used so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone unless they never interacted with him or weren't in related classes. It's hard to miss a Griffin after all. Not like it meant everyone got up close and personal with her. As for the language thing, he always took the time to explain it if someone asked, looked at him weird or seem put off somehow.
With Rebecca gone, he stayed at a speed the other female of the group seemed to be able to handle. This let Lawrence lengthen the gap between them. He wasn't too worried since the Griffin was already told want to do--so it was almost as if he was there. Haruki would ask the puppeteer some questions to get a better idea of the person and situation they were dealing with. Just to see if he could get some incite out of what she saw from scouting. When he arrived he got to see the man stab himself with red liquid. The Griffin having distanced herself because of the titter totter attack.
Haruki watched as the man turned even more grotesque than before. The bubbling of his skin made it seem dangerous to the touch. "Lucia!" He called out again as the behemoth charged Lawrence. A string of words no one else could understand came out of his mouth. The Griffin immediately went straight for the titter totter. She grabbed it in her claws and jerked the item in the opposite direction. It was done to stop the man from taking a swing at Lawrence while trying to rip the thing from his grasp. "Destroy the bottles!" He yelled out for them all to hear. This would be a great time for him to know how to use a bow and arrow like Yoshiro. He sucked with any type of weapon, however. Close combat was a big weakness of his. It was probably the easiest way to deal with his beasts: attack him directly. Not wanting to fight or hurt others made it hard for him to want to learn how to protect himself. It didn't help how he was more concerned about protecting others. He didn't even like to put his creatures in unnecessary danger. Maybe he could throw a rock. At the very least he'd hit the behemoth of a man. It'd be sad if he couldn't even manage to do that. As for why he told them to focus on the bottles, it was because they seemed to be the source of the man's peculiarity. At least to some degree. There was no time for explanations, however. That's why he didn't bother to say anything else.

RampagePeculiarity: Chemical Mutation Rampage was just about to swing the titter totter at Lawrence when the Griffin came in and grabbed hold of the titter totter. A yell came from the mutated man as his attention was once again on the giant bird like creature. With two hands, he tried to grab the titter totter back but when that was not working he started to sponge around, trying to make the griffin lose grip or get dizzy. It seemed that Haruki had the right idea about breaking the bottles as that was the source of his power. the more bottles he had stuck into him, the more power and bigger the mutant got. It wasn't long before Rebeccas throwing knives were heading his way, trying to hit the four bottles that were stuck in his arm. At first, Rampage did not notice at all that knives were being tossed at him as when Rebeccas knives hit his skin, nothing happened and nor did he feel anything. Then one of the knives managed to shatter one of the red bottles. The moment that the bottle shattered, Rampage let out a yell as his skin started to bubble up again but this time he started to shrink and his skin started to cool down. He stopped what he was doing, letting go of the titter totter once her realized what was happening. " You can not stop me! You are nothing! NOTHING!" He shouted before he started running towards Rebecca as another knife hit another bottle, making his skin bubble up and shrink more, now he was half the size he was from before.

The Myth Buster
Lucia had a firm grip on the piece of the playground. It was unfortunate they were in a sort of tug of war. The creature let go as soon as it was obvious the deformed man was attempting to swing in a circle. She didn't need to steal the thing from him. The point was to protect Haruki's teammate and she gave the other plenty of time to take cover. Rebecca also had the chance to at least start attacking by that point. Shortly after a bottle shattered and pulled his attention to the one who caused it to happen. Haruki uttered something to Lucia after the second bottle was shattered. The Griffin leaped onto the shrinking guys back and pinned him to the ground--crushing the rest of the bottles. As the man returned to a more average human state she made sure to lessen her force just enough. There was no reason to kill him after all. Haruki wouldn't want that.
It wasn't long before the police officers came to arrest the guy while assessing the scene. The group had to give typical statements of what happened before they were cleared to leave the area. Lucia was now back in her little home. Everyone was relatively unharmed--which was good. Someone at the scene checked them all so if they did have some wounds they were taken care of on the spot. Thus, they went back to patrolling since they were all in good condition. Haruki was probably the most drained out of the group, but he could still use his peculiarity if needed. Hopefully, things would be relatively calm after that disaster. He couldn't even feel all that great about it. After all, people died before they managed to get there. One child being suddenly ripped away from their parents. It was sad.
