It felt like eons, being away from the one person she truly cared for, the man her pale hues longed to cast upon. A surge of adrenaline coursed through her veins as she neared his possible location, a small smile curving upon her rose painted lips. Was she looking alright? Had she shed or put on some during her journey? Was her hair fine? Overlooking the occasional scratches and healing wounds from her long journey, her long hair was in a braid, coiled around itself in a bun. Her attire similar to what he was used to seeing her in but there was this foreign sense brightness in her, one which he would be oblivious to. Typical. Would he be excited to see her though?
Fia's journey began about two months ago, Fang entrusting her with collecting a package from the puppeteer to one of their missions that brought them a heavy paycheck, despite their incompetence in the same. Quite the generous man he was, but he did require some commitment and if Fang was in for a deal, Fia was dragged into it with no question. The joy it brought the female when he'd rest his palm on her head, looking deep into her hues to tell her he trusted her with securing the package safely and returning to him, the brief embrace she shared with him with how she nearly pounced on him for more affection. How she wished there would be more the moment she set foot in his sight, maybe those sweet three words escaping his lips when he'd cast his eyes on her, "I missed you", with less of her forced emotions over him. As much as she wished to return to him sooner, the whereabouts of their generous giver was close to the land of nostalgia. It wouldn't hurt to take a trip down memory lane for a brief bit, maybe she'd even come across a few familiar faces?
Nimble fingers uncovered the little artifact she brought back from her trip that she deemed her own, the little silver ring that fit her mother's own before her unlikely demise. The horrendous scene played back before her eyes, the corpse she stumbled upon on her late night stroll when she didn't find anything where home was. It was so long deteriorated that it was barely identifiable although she could never forget that dull piece of jewelry her mother wore on her finger every time she prepared herself for another night out. Filth, she probably choked on her own vomit again and this time with no one to help her, met her fate.
With her pale eyes cast back upon her path, the woman slipped the artifact back into her pocket. She was intending to bring it up over dinner, not for his pity though, more for him to know her better. Would he even care though?
The woman stopped in her trail upon hearing voices, multiple voices. Her brows knit together as the closer she went, the more it registered that it sounded much higher pitched than the male. Was he in trouble or did he simply have company? Either way, she wasn't very pleased, her heart racing now as her features started to darken, a frown returning to her lips as her pace quickened until she stood before the stood before the unlikely three. Her beloved sitting among two other women, one of them even had horns? Now when did Fang start to feel so comfortable around them? Her pale hues shot daggers at him, her heaving chest making evident her long journey and rising temper. "Looks like you've been bored while I was gone.." her smooth voice left her lips, directed evidently to the male, "One of them even has horns." she added, finding herself at loss of words. She couldn't verbally assault him, no, he didn't deserve piercing words, he deserved more than that, a lot more.
A lot of things ran through her head as she stepped closer, spiteful words, upsetting thoughts, ways to scare away the company he had and of course, means of torturing him. The feelings weren't even close to pleasant, she was hurt, angry and it all seemed reminiscent of how she felt about her mother. She never thought of Fang that way, she liked him a little too much for that although, what she witnessed wouldn't easily change that. She carefully cast down her bag that held the item she went to recover, drawing her sleeves up to her elbows as she contemplated her methods of expressing her feelings. Once she stood towering his seated form, she raised her leg, barely giving him room to escape and drove her heel down his foot. "Hello Fang, I've really missed you...aren't you going to introduce me to your new play-things?" she stated, making sure he felt the intensity of her words. "I see you really didn't have time to miss me, do you even remember why I left?" she added, all with a mere twitch to her knit brows.

Fang snickered at Fay's response. His eyes narrowing dangerously. If he was in the fighting mood he'd rip her a new one. Or maybe just bite her again, but he didn't want to start anything right now. Not in front of Frea at least. Frea had seen him do some pretty cray stuff over the past few weeks, but she had yet to see him kill anything of importance, not that he wanted to gut the kitten, just maul her a bit maybe? "You're right Fayeth. She is here of her own free will. As so will you be... Someday." He didn't really know whether she'd stay, but he certainly wouldn't let her leave until she wanted to. Maybe he would abandon her then? No. That would prove her right. He was different. She would see. Fang looked over to Frea as she spoke to him about his missing armor. "I guess you are right... I will need more armor. Maybe we should all go into town tomorrow to get that fixed. We'll make kitty pay for it as well." He shot a smirk over at Frea. Hoping she'd be okay with his snarky fun. Part of him still felt tense around her. She just had this unnerving presence that made him feel that he needed to be on guard. But he had definitely learned to trust her. It felt so strange to trust someone who embodied what he hated. Horned demons. He couldn't help but feel judged by her, and used for some grand scheme. Even though she was more following him. She was perplexing. He'd giver her that much credit.
Fang ripped some grass out of the earth and lifted his hand into the air to release it slowly. Watching the blades flitter in the wind eastward. "A storm is coming." He said in a dull tone. "We'll need to find shelter in the morn-" A familiar smooth voice crept from beyond the firelight. Fia?! Was it her? He sat up to see that it was indeed his companion. She had been with him for much longer than anyone else, although she had been on a long quest for sometime now. Fang recalled their first meeting. He had spotted her just outside a village that was being attacked by both bandits and grimm. He decided to spook her, but ended up saving her. He left, but she stuck with him. It was an odd sort of relationship, but she was his ever present companion. After a while they became a team of sorts. She was a bit weird in the head he had always thought, but who was he to judge for that? He was ten times worse. The fact she remained with him always puzzled him. He had assumed she would leave someday, but she never did. His golden eyes met hers. Something was off. He needed to tread lightly, but of course would totally fail. "Oh, it's you..." He said unable to justify the situation succinctly to his pink haired companion. That was probably the worst thing he could have said. Before he could say something kinder she was upon him. Her heel dug into his foot with the force of a thousand grimm jaws. "TeuuGHHH!!!" He gasped in pain. A slow high pitched sound escaping his throat. His aura shield wasn't activated against her as he hadn't expected this. Fang's fists clenched as he winced in pain. This was embarrassing in front of his new pet, not to mention Frea. What would they think!? "Fia... I did m-miss you..." He said through clenched teeth hoping she would lift her foot. "I nearly died while you were away... Frea here." He motioned to her with his hand. "She miraculously found me and saved me. And this one... His eyes drifted over to the kitty faunus. "Well, she tried to murder me." He immediately regretted telling Fia that. She may be a tough personality to get along with at times, but she was even more vicious around things that harmed him. Or maybe she would help the kitty kill him? At this point anything was possible.

❝When you feel all alone, And the world has turned it's back on you. I know you feel like the walls are closing in on you. It's hard to find relief and people can be so cold.
Because there has always been heartache and pain And when it's over you'll breathe again You'll breathe again❞ Fayeth was still stewing over he put something in the collar to force her to come back to Fang. Sadly none of her masters before had that except if she tried to escape she would get electrocuted if she touched the fence. She had many scars to prove the abused she suffered under humans. Still she was angry she was a caged animal once again. When she was handed the food by Frea she took it gently and began to eat after whispering a thank you to the other faunus. She had thought it would be better for Frea to have whatever she could pick to have. Not like Fay could make anything unless you like burnt charred crisps. Somehow she had an issue with cooking, tried several times and failed each time more worse than the other. She eventually gave up and got plants in case she could sell it. She nodded at Frea, “Yes. But you can call me Fay unlike the vicious human over there.” She spoke before pointing her finger at Fang. Once Frea was done she took her bag again as she swallowed the rest of the food. She had to admit this was by far the best meal she ever tasted. Her eyes looked to Frea wondering why she would ever trust this animal now lying on the ground. She offered a smile reserved for Frea feeling safe at the moment. However she looked away trying not to stare too long. The moment was broken when Fang talked, just why couldn’t he be quiet? “If that ever happens I’ll be insane and not be near you ever.” She retorted. When he spoke about her paying for the piece of armor as she scowled, “I never asked to be enslaved. You will pay for what you broke.” She yelled at him. She growled once more hearing that hideous nickname as she stood up with her hands on her hips. “Go ahead. Come out and say all you want of the stupid names you have regarding my ears and tail.” She spoke as her eyes glared down at him. Before Fang could out came another female but this time was a human as she just wanted to curl back into the tree away from him. But she was surprised seeing she hurt him as her eyebrow raised in interest as she liked this human more just for hurting her new master. This human she would tolerate a lot more than the one in pain. “How did you do that?” She asked with interest. Maybe she could find out and force him to take off this ridiculous collar. She tugged on it with her finger hating the feeling again when her neck was free from any collars. {Just a Memory} ⇇Location, Location? "Care about yourself first."
Since Fang planned to buy a new armor, Frea started calculating the possible prices they could get, pulling out her notes. The paper listed the possible prices in the market that she updated when learned new information or asked Fang about it after shopping. The man would not pay enough attention to all the price, but it got better through some light training on his haggling sense. "Going to town should be a good idea. I have ingredients I also need to buy. Got some natural materials in the forest earlier." His smirk told her he was joking a little in his sentence and she tried to humor it. "I suppose." She was not the best with humor, being serious almost all the time. The ones who interacted with her a few times also told her so. It was especially clear when she sat near a jokester and did not laugh when everyone did. She liked to think her humor was different from others, that was all. While her attention was on writing down the possible plan for shopping tomorrow, she still listened to the two talking. They spoke in swords and dagger, the hostile hate evident, though more on the feline faunus. Ah, to call the girl Fay, was it? "Understood. Let's get along, Fay."
To be honest, Frea did not have any feelings on the subject of slavery. The young woman had not experienced such a thing, being in the safety of her family for a long time before that fated day. No matter what, there was someone she could rely on. They taught her how to avoid trouble, especially slavery in that time. She was not especially fond of combat, so those terrible men never catch her. There had been a group of those who arrived at the same town as her family. The things they did was almost legal and horrible to Faunus, choosing to catch any stray faunus children if their parents were not nearby or the faunus who had debts. As a young child, she felt helpless back then, unable to help those poor children. When too many of those sights appeared, she tried to numb herself and stop caring. It was only her family, her and no one else she should worry about.
Her gaze turned to the sky, following Fang's comment on an incoming storm. The sky darkened considerably, the wind picking up, strong to rustle the grass beside them. "You are right. On the subject of possible shelter, I find a ca-" A crunch of something and Fang's wincing in pain right next to her quickly diverted her eyes to the new person in the camp. A beautiful female human, but her gaze and her words did not. The way the human girl indirectly called her and Fay made her eye twitch, but the sheep faunus did not say anything on that. Instead, she would do something more subtle like avoid talking to the girl as much as possible. No confrontation or clash unless taunted. First impressions were important to her and she did not like this girl already.
Purple eyes observed the Fang and his...partner? The situation certainly seemed like a lover spat to her and she wanted to role in this, but the horned faunus did not make a move from her spot. Nonchalantly finishing her food, she stacked it with all the finished food for later washing. Purple hues met with blue ones of Fay, who sent a smile her way. It surprised her at how friendly the feline faunus to earlier with Fang, but she returned a smile, nonetheless. Her smile was a bit unpracticed from not doing the gesture for so long. After that, she returned to watching the two humans.

The man's response to her seemed to have been awakening the sleeping beast within her, tempting her to rip him to shreds for how inconsiderate he could be. Then again, she should have been used to having lived that way, with a mother who barely ever took to notice the little girl who should have been taken care of was taking care of her, was trying to ensure they had a day's meal so they didn't dry to bones. Hell if her own mother didn't even think of her as more than a burden, what more could she expect from a stranger she chose to follow. For once, it would be nice to be acknowledged though, to be told she did well or simply being missed. Her mother would have, for selfish reasons of course.
Pale hues trailing over the two as he explained how he came across his new travel buddies, analyzing each as he spoke. The woman with the horns seemed nice, poised and even avoiding confrontation. Knowing Fang's distaste towards horns, Fia assumed she could forgive her close proximity to the male, especially for the favor she did by keeping him alive. "The news of you dying would surely be better than seeing you like this." she mumbled, turning her foot a little, crushing his foot a little more before she eased her heel off of it, not intending to replace it anytime soon as her eyes now cast on the feline. With her eyes trailing down her evident faunus features down to her neck, she noticed the striking resemblance to Fang's armor that was now a piece of jewelry around her neck. How convenient, he intended to own her.
The woman's question and her distaste to her new bling didn't seem to go unnoticed although Fia refrained from answering it. She might have hated Fang for his decision but she couldn't get herself to abandon him with a murderous cat, maybe she'd just refrain from much interaction, wait until her feelings died and probably look for something better to do with herself, yet she knew better. By nightfall she'd be tugging on his cloak to let her sleep by him so she wasn't startled by her own nightmares and by morning she'd be following him like a lost puppy. With her eyes back upon the woman, she took a few steps, marking them with her heel before dragging it along the ground. "That's how far you stay, that's five steps away from him. If I even see you a step closer, I will slice off that pretty tail and use it as a scarf." she stated to the faunus, cold eyes not leaving her as she did before she stepped away. If the situation was any different, Fia would have already had a dagger to her throat, threatening to kill her for her for even trying but she was disappointed, hurt, disgusted all at once, she didn't want to do it anymore, not for Fang.
Picking up the bag she cast aside, the woman made herself comfortable away from the group, sitting close enough if they chose to leave. She made sure her back was facing the man her eyes longed to see, unsure why she was even around him now as she rummaged through her bag for her essentials. He would probably walk over to recover the goods she brought and she almost hoped he did, that way maybe she'd get to see him again, this time closer and better. She took her timely pills and undid her hair, slipping her fingers through the long locks to smoothen them out as her mind wandered in thought. She would tend to her little cuts and the tokens from her little brawls, but seemed like they'd need to find shelter soon, so she refrained from doing much.

Fang always had a hard time interacting with Fia. She was moody like him, but in a different way. Frea had been distracted with her calculations on his new armor cost when Fia arrived. She seemed to be okay with her. He couldn't see why though. Fay was seemingly mesmerized by the fact that Fia could hurt him. She wouldn't ever be able to replicate it. At least not anytime soon. Fang's guard was only let down by those he trusted, and right now Fay was on the bottom of the totem pole of trust. Maybe even lower than the grimm. He winced again as she twisted her heel into his. "Sometimes I am tempted to think you are the more vile of our duo." He said moving his foot out from under her. "But we both know that isn't true..." His eyes narrowed as he spoke. Obviously not happy with the 'surprise-attack-reunion.' He usually was cold to Fia, but he could never keep it up for too long. She had a way about her that kept things interesting for him out in the wild.
Fang was surprised when the line was drawn. This was a perfect example why she was worth keeping around. She had common sense and keeping the shrapnel infused kitkat away was likely a wise move. At least when they slept. His semblance would protect him from any throat slitting attempts, well from the kitten at least, but he still wanted to sleep well. "Fia." He stood up to look at her directly. His tone a bit more serious than before. "I am-" He hated showing appreciation and his stance made it very obvious. "I am glad you made it back, Fia." He wasn't usually so friendly, but she had been on a long trip. She needed some sort of recognition. "Did you make contact? Did we get the job?" His eyes shifted over to Frea and Fay who were unaware of what they were now talking about. Frea would need to know sooner or later, but he wasn't sure if it was in their best interest to let little miss murder-meow know. Though he had mentioned this contact to Frea a while back, so she likely already had an idea of what they spoke of. "And... you took a bit longer than anticipated. Any trouble along the way?" Fang placed his hands on his hips as he awaited her report. His golden eyes revealed that she didn't need to say it all now due to the presence of their company, but Fia was intelligent and would already know this.
The wind started to pick up causing Fang to tilt his head sideways like a confused puppy. "On second thought, this storm is coming in quicker than expected. I think we need to find shelter now rather than risk being caught in it." Dark clouds could be seen floating in from the west. Silent lightning flashing its claws through the distant skies. "I saw an abandoned cabin a few miles south of here. That should do..." He would begin to pack his belongings up. He wouldn't be so concerned about a storm except the kitkat didn't have any sort of supplies And it wasn't the nicest way to welcome his companion back either. "Let's head out..."

❝When you feel all alone, And the world has turned it's back on you. I know you feel like the walls are closing in on you. It's hard to find relief and people can be so cold.
Because there has always been heartache and pain And when it's over you'll breathe again You'll breathe again❞ It was clear now the only one Fay was willing to tolerate was Frea. What was with humans being so vile? This is exactly why she didn’t ever befriend people since there was always someone to stab her in the back. All Faunus were just slaves to humans which was why she was wearing this hideous collar. She wished she could tear it off and throw it back at Fang but then she would be left with the bite mark she would want covered. And with Frea being the only Faunus besides her, she would be the only one Fay would listen to. When Fia spoke to her she wanted to jump her and kill her. Now she had a kill list with Fia now at the top while Fang was below her. “Oh I’m shaking in my boots Princess.” She spoke sarcastic with venom. It was a threat she disregarded as she wished she wasn’t held captive and leave to be on her own. There was a reason she didn’t like interacting with humans always wanting to wear her feline features as some accessory. Her eyes rolled at the female just ignoring the pair just wanting to get out of the rain. She would only go with them but she would refuse being in the cabin Fang spoke about. She always had a tough time of sleeping indoors because of the memories of being enslaved would come up. Currently she hated being here it was now her own personal hell she wanted out of. It was funny with being a feline she had some traits of it but others she wouldn’t. With the storm coming she rather be in the rain but she hated getting wet. She crossed her arms keeping enough distance as she could from the duo before the collar would make her come to Fang. Now she kept to herself rather not give the group information at all, personally she would like to see the humans fall off of a cliff to their doom. With her bag over her shoulders she crossed her arms against her chest. From what she observed the princess seemed to be romanic with him but yet he didn’t like to show anything. She was under a tree until the group would move as she looked up at the sky. She was trying to figured out how it ended up like this. Her hatred was building up inside of her as she would need to work it out later when everyone was asleep so she wouldn’t be bothered. {Just a Memory} ⇇Location, Location? "Care about yourself first."
The mention of a job caught Frea's attention well. Despite feeling her eyes drooped because of sleepiness, the shine returned to those violet hues quickly. Fang had the convenience of mentioning a contact to her once, but she was still most in the dark about everything. Now that the subject came up, she listened with curiosity, head already thinking about the potential of earning good money or potential rare ingredients. Speaking of ingredients, she should make some herbal medicine soon, the material had been stacking up and there was no room to store the excess.
A drop of water landed on her soft ear, making it twitched. She shuddered and stood up, following Fang to pack up their luggage. "Ah, the one south of here, near a lump of rocks? If that is the case, there is a cave nearby. I was going to suggest there. The cabin nearby did not seem safe enough." The cave had the criteria of a good spot for resting the last time she checked. The woman had not thought to choose the cabin at first glance due to its bad condition. One touch and it looked to fall, despite looking like the structure were supported by overgrown plants. In addition, those plants had strange colors and shapes that she was not sure if they were safe to stay near. Thus, the cave was the better choice, without inhabitants. It appeared something that had lived there just left not long ago. She had some suspicion about the reason why they left, but in general, the cave was a better idea. "If that was not the one, nevermind me. Nonetheless, cabins usually have danger aspects. Consider why the owner left or whether the owner left some traps there. This is based on my opinion and experience." She zipped up the rest of the luggage, the weight tripping her a little when she lifted it up.
She should have known better to gather so many materials, now it weighted heavier than before, when the heaviness of the bag was barely enough for her to lift. Sometimes she wondered if she should have tried better to increase her strength while she was younger. Yet, the woman still managed to be weaker than her siblings in strength at everything. Guess the only the better thing she could pride on as a sheep faunus was her endurance. She rolled her shoulders to lighten the ache from trying to lift the bag up and tried again. The bag barely lifted over the ground and made occasional drag against the grass. In this case, she would not be able to walk so fast. "Sorry. Please carry these for me." Dainty hands waved to catch Fang's attention and threw some of her packaged material over. With the lightened weight, she felt that she would not fall behind now. "Those can be materials for the ointment to treat wounds." A little bribe for the help would be good. She could still see his aching toe and feet.

Pale blue eyes took a spin as she heard the kitten's new nickname for her, as sarcastic as her words were, it didn't sound half as bad. "At least you understood your position, mongrel." she mumbled. As much as Fia didn't show it, she would have to be wary of the kitten, especially when it came to Fang. She wouldn't have a problem protecting him if it came to that, being a light sleeper due to her busy brain. Even if the kitty's skills were polished, Fia was quite confident about her own and wouldn't hold back if things got dirty.
The man's words failed to pierce her if he intended for that, although something he said did stick to her. Our duo, so he did consider them something? Even if he did, the woman was too much of a mess to consider anything right now, upset still as the two new things he got were still around. How long was he planning on keeping them? Hopefully, not long, she never had good memories pertaining to women and their interest in the exotic looking man she considered her own. Her train of thoughts came to a halting stop when she heard him call her name, eyes cast back on him as he spoke while her arms crossed across her chest. With him appreciating her, even though it seemed to take an effort to get him to, her cheeks started to redden like a blossoming field of poppies as she cast her glance away from him now. Why was she so easy? Idiot she thought to herself, refraining to answer him although to his next question she simply nodded. "They just gave me the box, no details were given. You might want to take a look at it..once we find shelter." she would state to him, pointing to her bag where she left it.
Eyes cast down to the ground and a glance at her pocket where the ring lied, he didn't have to know right now. Maybe he lost the right to know, maybe she just wanted some time to bring up important details, whatever it was, he might not even care too much. She shook her head in response, trying her hair back up so it didn't get drenched all the way if they did get caught on the rain.
Picking her things up, she forced herself back up on her slender legs stretching her arms over her head lightly as her eyes cast upon the two other women in the group. The kitty seemed fine on her own although, the horned faunus made her brows knit together as her lips curled to their natural frown. Such a damsel, having a man do the heavy lifting for her, her man. "I'm surprised you can carry those big horns on your head and not a few little packages." she stated, directing to the sheep faunus with a little scoff. She always looked down upon women like her, considering how she had no one to sympathize with her or give her a chance to be the damsel, to be dependent. To each their own, if that was how the faunus wished to continue, she might as well be the first one to encounter a grimm and save them the trouble of dragging her load. Her hues now shifted to the male, knowing he'd gladly oblige to assist her. He was a man, after all, a woman could just say a kind word with a flutter of their lashes and any man would swoop in forgetting their dignity. "Go on, help the fair maiden, without a strong man to help her, she might just break a nail." she would state, "Oh, I hope you enjoy becoming a load donkey, soon she'll have you carry her around and save her from any danger at hand." she added as her hands slipped into her pockets.
The woman began to envy the two that joined their unlikely duo. Even though she wasn't directly looking at either of them as they walked, she was studying their differences. The kitty was taller, clearly flexible, probably agile too considering her being a faunus. She was rather cute when she was quiet and who didn't like cats? The sheep, on the other hand, was shorter, delicate yet beautiful, poised and seemingly kind. Dependent sure, but some men liked that, they liked feeling like they were needed and the one person their partner needed at all times. Fia was nothing like either of them, if anything, she was far from what a man would find appealing. She was barely dependent, couldn't consider herself attractive and had the worst personality. She was a killer and needed no reason to kill.

Fang couldn't help but let a chuckle escape his lips at kitkat's 'shaking in her boots' remark back to Fia. He was glad she could hold her own. Not that he ever doubted it. She was as unrelenting as this storm would likely be. He finished collecting his things and placing them in his rucksack. He traveled light. He did have a random collection of trinkets, but other then that everything he had was functional. Very little in the way of frivolities. "Just this box then..." He said as his eyes darted to her back. He was curious, but shelter was definitely more important. Frea pitched in and suggested the cave near the cabin. You're right, that is likely to hold up better, but we will need to be on guard as we enter it. Wild animals, maybe even grimm could be in there. At least once cleared we won't need to worry about it falling on top of us as is the case with the ol cabin." Frea requested help, half of him wanted to just blow her off and tell her to carry it herself as that is what he would do to any normal stranger. He was indebted to her though, and she was now a part of the team so he would help. Fia's snide comments didn't help. She always had a way to make him more angry.
Fang would lift the packages Frea needed help with a single arm, giving her a reassuring nod that he was there to help. "To the cave it is then." He would say to her, and then mouth the words 'don't mind her' his head tilting towards Fia ever so lightly. He would turn around and walk up to Fia. "Fia, you see that?" Fang looked behind her. This was a ploy to distract her, and whether or not it worked he would dip down and grab her legs and toss Fia over his shoulder. He didn't care if she hissed and fought back. He would at least try and carry her for a while. A way of subduing her from her verbal attacks. He didn't mind her hitting at him, but Frea certainly didn't deserve the horn comment. Though he still wasn't fond of those massive spikes of death that lay upon her."Carry around and save from danger? I guess I can do that... You always needed my help didn't you?" A smile crept up on his face as he started down the path towards the cave. He was playfully taunting her of course. His rucksack on his back, some packages in his left arm, and Fia over his right shoulder. He was strong and so this was nothing to him, at least not for the few miles they would be walking.
"Lets go Murder-meow." He would say to Fay who was lurking off by a tree. His eyes drifted to her collar ever so slightly. He didn't want to have to activate more dust and send her flying towards him again. He was certain she didn't like such an undignified method either. "We'll be there before the rain really gets messy if we hurry." And they were off. The wind was starting to get chilly as the clouds came rushing in from all directions. This storm might last all of tomorrow too. Fang sighed. He hated storms. When he lived near Vacuo they had desert storms, but those were infrequent and when they did come they didn't last very long. Up near Vale they had real storms and he simply wasn't fond of them. If he wasn't so stubborn about changing his choice of clothes he might fair a bit better in this climate.
They would walk for some time before reaching the hill region where the cave was bound to be. "I don't remember where this cave is. Not in the dark at least..." He said scanning the area. Frea would likely know, or maybe kitkat would spot it. "Do any of you see something?"

❝When you feel all alone, And the world has turned it's back on you. I know you feel like the walls are closing in on you. It's hard to find relief and people can be so cold.
Because there has always been heartache and pain And when it's over you'll breathe again You'll breathe again❞ It was pretty clear that she wanted to be very far away from this group. The way Fia treated Frea was just uncalled for. This woman was ridiculous as it seemed to her that his girl had to be his girlfriend. Why else was she being so cold and a b***h to all of them? It seemed their location would be a cave, it was better than a cabin but she still didn’t want to sleep in the cave, she had a lot of issues since being a young child. She had been kept in a cave for many days before she was brought to a slave market. It was a lot of bad memories which would lead to nightmares and she didn’t need them knowing the reason why and making herself look weak. Merely rolling her eyes when she was called mongrel as she didn’t need to get the last word in. She really hated the woman known as Fia. Princess was too nice, Queen b***h sounded better since that was how she acted. “HEY b***h! The world doesn’t revolve around you and your boyfriend lay off.” She hissed to defend Fia. She gripped her hands into a fist to stop herself from just slapping the human across the face. Once she calmed down, she would seriously need to take out her anger out on something. It was clear she couldn’t kill them while she had this damned collar around her neck for Fang to pull her towards him. She rose her eyebrow at the name he gave her, it was different from what she heard. "Yes , Oh great and mighty Master." she spoke sarcastically. She pushed herself from the tree as she crossed her arms underneath her chest walking preventing her itch to grab her dagger and put it through Fia’s skull. Looking up at the sky she could feel droplets as she felt at ease but she still didn’t like being wet. She always thought the sky might be crying over something terrible that happened? Well this day had turned into s**t when it started so well. Personally she wanted to be far away from the group as much she could, whatever their shelter was she wanted nothing to do with them. She didn’t want to sleep in the same room especially near Fia. Fang wouldn’t need to worry about her killing him yet, first would be his troublesome girlfriend. Fayeth looked around hearing his question as she pointed in the direction. “In that direction. It’s not far.” She told him flatly. She was in her wilderness mode not letting her hatred overwhelm her. She guided them to where the cave was before seeing there were a few trees close by. Perfect… This would be where she could sleep in peace. She set her bag down by the tree, “You all go in and sleep. I’ll be out here making sure nothing attacks you.” She spoke bluntly with her arms still crossed clearly would not budge on the sleeping arrangement of her being outside. {Just a Memory} ⇇Location, Location? "Care about yourself first."
The taunt from the pink-haired human had no effect on Frea. Over the times travelling alone before, she had heard many comments and curses about her horns, mostly bad things and she learned to ignore them. The sheep faunus kind had many rumors, and one of being devils were most well-known. She supposed those were also the reason why some cults would love to invite her for their sacrificial rituals. Those people were easy to distinguish, especially with that deranged look in their eyes. She had seen a lot of those members to know even if the cult members tried to act normal.
Purple eyes looked at the taller human female like they could see the reason of the previous poke at her horns. Jealousy, perhaps, since the pink woman had been vocal about the subject since her appearance. How annoying. She would rather not being poked on anything she did that related to Fang, especially when it related to business. For now, ignoring the human could avoid more taunts. In time, she could even ignore and treat the mouthy human woman like air.
She had not missed what Fay said just next and gave the feline girl a nod of appreciation. Whether it was something to defend her or Faunus in general, she appreciated the thought. Nearby, Fang tried to diffuse the situation by distracting the human girl with something else. His style of carrying the pink girl amused her, the pose like carrying a piece of furniture. A More barbaric style, but expected. Her gaze swept over the man's general look, busy on both hands and yet still looked fast and strong to move. Sometimes she just envied the people who was built stronger than her on several things, but that thought disappeared quickly. If she could not do things herself, she could still ask someone else to do that. When you did not have the brawn, use your brain.
A short walk took them to the target destination. The darkened clouds from the incomning rain dulled the natural light of the moon and made everything harder to see. She squinted in the dark, trying to locate the spot she left behind when she passed through here. Before she could find it, the guide from Fay lead them to the right direction. Thin fingers brushed the x mark she left behind on the tree, feeling the mark which lied on the wrong spot. The last time she placed this mark, it was not on this tree. Unless the tree moved location, then it should be a tree on the left and not the right. Her eyes looked to the sky, where thundered lit up the sky from afar. "There's thunder and these trees are quite high. It's dangerous to stay outside." While she did not have an opinion on where the feline faunus sleep, there were exceptions when danger involved. "You should stay inside. It may be dangerous." A flash of thunder struck, lighting up the inside of the cave. Because she peered closer to the cave this time, she could see spacious room of the cave. Enough for 4 people.

"b***h! Who asked you to even step outside looking like this? You're making people question if I'm a good mother." the woman's raspy voice echoed through her head, almost making her visibly wince at the had slap that followed, making the child lose her balance. Her eyes cast away for a moment as the many other voices played along now, men, women all the same, each having a similar name or even worse. Fia was too used to that to even let it affect her, if the one person who mattered never had a hold on their tongue, what would she expect from someone who barely even knew her.
"Oh look, the mongrel can bark too? You might want to watch it, if you bark too much, my boyfriend might just lock you up in a cage like the animal you are." She stated with an expression of fake amusement, rolling her eyes right after. At least the kitten admitted Fang belonged to Fia. She noticed her balling her fists which made her lips curl slightly in amusement. Ticking people off seemed to come naturally to the woman and if she did manage to get the kitty in a brawl with her, she would assume to have the upper hand considering her leveled head in situations like these.
Barley making attempt to make another go at the horned woman, didn't regret a word she said about her even if she chose to be quiet now. If she too snapped back like the feisty kitty, she would surely dust her off like the dirt she considered her, but she would give her that she was wise enough to keep her cool in times like these. If Fia didn't choose to respond verbally to someone, she would make sure she left her mark to remind them she wasn't someone they could take lightly.
With her attention away from Fang as he was helping the woman, she shrugged, knowing that was to come. How predictable. With her hands in her pockets, she kept an eye around the trees as they walked, enjoying the momentary silence and the breeze from the upcoming storm. She drew her hands out take a look at the little trinket she brought and quickly slipped it back into her pocket when she noticed Fang walk up to her, stopping in her path as she looked over to the direction he told her to. "I don't s--" before she could finish, her lashes parted in surprise, blood rushing up to her head in a blush as she was now on his shoulder. What just happened? As unflattering as it was being carried like this, she couldn't help but enjoy the moment. Rolling her eyes to his remark, she shuffled around and placed her smooth palm against his cheek gently, turning him over as she inched closer and pressed her lips against his temple. "My hero." she cooed in the sweetest voice she could muster, passing him a playful grin as she leaned closer to run her tongue along his earlobe sensually this time. "Maybe I should reward you for always helping me." she would state, biting it lightly. There was a likely chance he would drop her for her invading his personal space, which she was absolutely fine with. At least she got him back for humiliating her that way. But if he did mention something about her nightmares to the two, she would bite his ear off clean with no regrets. After all, one ear less wouldn’t make him less attractive.
Thankfully by now, they had reached their destined spot, her legs swinging a little as she attempted to slide off of his grip. As much as she enjoyed the ride, she knew it wasn't out of affection. Besides, she wanted to get off and inspect the place better as she didn't trust the two faunus women with them.

Fang knew that distracting Fia always seemed to work when he wanted her to play nice. Sure enough, when he had lifted her up and onto his shoulder her personality flipped like a switch. He was smiling at his successful intervention when she planted a kiss on his temple. His eyes would roll over to look at her with a confused face, but this was her. Always messing with him. He sometimes thought she might have feelings for him, but knowing Fia, that wasn't likely. At least not in Fang's mind. She just liked to screw with people's mind, and he wouldn't fall for any of her shenanigans. He would stop dead in his tracks with her lick though. She probably just threw that in to make the others uncomfortable. Not that they would even notice the action since they were all walking to the caverns. It was time to change the conversation. Fang chuckled. He was distracted by the subtle nuances of the conversation they were having just before rather than the intention of her words. "Cats meow, not bark." He would say looking over to Fay's feline features and then back up towards Fia.
Fang nodded when Fayeth spotted the cave through the stormy dark. She had good eyes. That was handy. He was also impressed as Frea's ability to not let Fia's taunts get to her. She had skin thicker than her horns it would seem. Frea may look soft, well at least her body gave off that appearance, but she was hardened by life through her years and possessed great wisdom it seemed. Fang wished he had the will power to use his own better judgement, but the maniac inside just took over during intense situations. It wasn't ideal, but it did get him this far hadn't it? These two were definitely survivors. He had no doubt about it. His attention turned back Fay though who led the group. "I'm not your slave master... You are enslaved by your own thoughts. I will unleash you when your thoughts have been aligned with the truth. Whether or not I like the truth..." He said flatly back to her. He didn't plan to make her do any heavy lifting or work like one would with a slave. In fact he'd be taking care of her until she learned he was not like other humans. She was his newest plaything. Not in a corrupt sense though, he just liked her big personality in her tiny body. Also, he was on a journey himself. One of self exploration. Maybe she would confirm who he was. However tacky that sounded. He would trudge onward to the cave. Following Fay. "There it is indeed!" He shouted as they came to the outside area. The storm was on their tails and the rain was just starting to become torrential. Fia dropped down of her own accord and Fay seemed to be eyeing some tree, but Frea warned her against it.
"Trees are the worst place in a rain storm. Lightning strikes them and some traveler once told me that the sap expands when heated and so the tree explodes like a grenade." He didn't want her staying out either, not that she was going to be able to escape him. That collar was made of some damn tough metal. "I know you don't like the situation, but I want you to be safe regardless." Fang's eyes connected with Fay's."I want you safe." He was serious. If she was going to die it would be by his hands and no others'. He wanted her alive and this tree was simply a bad idea.
"I got to set this stuff down though." He would say trudging on into the cave. Once he found a cozy spot that was just elevated enough where any rain coming into the cave would not be able to reach he sat the materials down. "We'll need a fire probably. Frea, you want to start that?" He tossed her his personal flint and steel which he kept hooked on his belt.
He stood up scanning the area. "Its cramped, but it will work for tonight." He pulled out a large blanket to cover a flat portion of the stone floor and laid out his personal blanket. "Fia, did you want to check and see if there is anything else in the cave before we settle down?"

❝When you feel all alone, And the world has turned it's back on you. I know you feel like the walls are closing in on you. It's hard to find relief and people can be so cold.
Because there has always been heartache and pain And when it's over you'll breathe again You'll breathe again❞ Frea would always have Fay in her corner since she was the most decent person in their group. Whenever Queen b***h would say something to Frea to be harsh she would be there to help her. She had seen the nod as someone had to tell Fia that she was not the center of attention and certainly sure Fang only put up with her obnoxious attitude. It was nice seeing Fia man handled but knowing the woman she probably liked it since it was clear everything she did was for him. She really hated the woman and it would be better for the two of them not to be in the same room. “Well, clearly he not your boyfriend and if he wanted to he would have already done it when he brought me to camp. Maybe you should stop making a food out of yourself. And maybe you should learn how to use the right insult a mongrel would be a dog and clearly I am a cat.” She lectured the woman now dangling from Fang. When Fang talked about how a cat meowed she was surprised he would say something, was he actually defending her? No, it wasn’t possible. He slapped a collar on her and made her his pet, what feeling would someone have for a faunus. Soon a disgusted noise that was muffled came from her. Could this girl be even more than a child? Maybe it was she had seen true love when she was little and what Fang and Fia were not that. “You should have thought about that being placing a collar on me. But then again you’ve never been enslaved and have a collar on you.” She retorted and rolled her eyes at him. Even though her scars were placed on her years ago they were still fresh in her mind. Her eyes looked to the cave as it was clear she did not want to go inside. Hearing Frea’s warning as she shook her head, “Me sleeping in the same room with that thing is not the best thing. Unless the master would like sleep.” She spoke still calling him master. She would use nicknames for people until she was comfortable enough with them. Which is why when she spoke to Frea she spoke her name. Hearing him voice his opinion in not wanting her outside, “I am not sleeping in the cave.” She spoke to him standing her ground. For a moment if someone look at her eyes they could see a flicker of terror before she looked away from the cave. She would be lying on the ground under the tree for cover. A cat has nine lives right? While the others were inside the cave Fay was underneath the tree taking daggers that weren’t interlocked in her whip. She began to throw them into the trunk of the tallest tree she could find. Already after a few rounds she was feeling better as all the anger was vanishing from her. However the words Fang spoke rang through her, why would a human want her safe? It had to be a trick. “None of them know what it’s truly like.” She whispered to herself. Every strike she had endured in her past was focused at each of the people in her life at that tree trunk. Shaking her head as she pulled the daggers from the trunk as she was slower than last time. Soon her mind was drifting to the darker parts of her mind with her walls all the way up. What was the point on dwelling on what happened? If she died then her hell would be over. She brushed her fingers through her hair thinking about her parents and what they would think about knowing what she did. Letting out a deep sigh as she leaned back to feel the rain against her when she moved away from the tree. Were they really watching? {Just a Memory} ⇇Location, Location?
