Ahh... That was a lie. Kagerou's senses weren't as keen on the subject of what was a lie and what wasn't as they were in her past life, but she hadn't dulled completely. She still had her natural intuition and observation. Her eyes narrowed, an obvious sign she had noticed, but her smile didn't break. Before long, she tossed her head to the side and shrugged, letting it slide without further explanation. This was Shadow's way of doing things, she'd come to know, and between the last few months plus the trust she had built up while he ranked higher than her in old Kiri, she trusted him to know better than her.

Leading by example, Kagerou gave Shadow a full and honest answer, "Kokuei blurted out something that indicated he knew you so the poor kid was taken in for questioning. The teen who detained Kokuei ordered around some other kids who looked like they were playing ANBU, so I figured he had a good chance of catching you. Since I didn't have a way to find you in the crowd, I approached as someone who also knew you so I could have an excuse to stick around just in case. The dude is a little weird, called me a potential future wife just because I complimented his bananas, but I think that means he likes me, so I guess that's good if you want to stay in the village.

"The guy who 'arrested' us left us in this room after receiving some sort of message from the ANBU-look-alikes. I didn't want to ruin Kokuei's reputation since he's just now getting his puppet shop running, starting a business is hard, you know, so I stayed put and kept myself occupied with exploring the room. Found this trapdoor. Then, in the room below, Kokuei found a secret entrance that led to some stairs leading down. He left already. I was gonna head up to see if he left a note like I think he did and rewrite it if necessary to try and keep him from getting in too much trouble."

Kagerou held up a finger after finishing, indicated that Shadow should wait. Her eyes slid one way and then the other as she searched her mind. Unlike Shadow, her memory was good, but not photographic. She just wanted to make sure that she got every single little detail. "Yep!" Kagerou affirmed with a nod and a widened smile, "That's it, I think. We haven't messed up anything regarding whatever talk you had with the village head yet, right?".

Yes. Because snooping around in what appeared to be the second-in-command's room and then going down secret passages after being detained was definitely not going to make anyone suspicious or angry. Most definitely not.

Likewise, Kagerou's smile was most definitely not slightly strained, and she most definitely wasn't trying to be optimistic about any sort of slip-ups she may had made mere minutes after Shadow had just set everything up so neatly and nicely.

"Ahaha..." a totally not guilty laugh.

[x] Something in Kagerou's expression said she thought I was lying, and she made no attempt to hide it. My brow furrowed slightly. I wasn't lying. I didn't care about Oragor; I had never met the man before. It was who he looked like that was the problem. I'd just be foolish enough to be reactionary and attacked before I could be certain what I saw.

She moved on, though, and so did I, not interested in dwelling on it for the moment. She explained how she'd ended up there, which was more information than I really needed. I'd figured how she got there, and that it had something to do with knowing me. Though the mention of Kokuei wasn't something I'd figured out. I'd seen him, but I supposed I'd assumed he would just pretend he didn't know me. I tried not to react at the mention of 'potential future wife', but I couldn't completely hide the flinch. It was slight, and could have just been me adjusting myself, but there was no way she'd missed it; she was too keen for that.

I almost hated the protectiveness the words drew out in me. What Kagerou decided to do with her life wasn't my decision. As much as I was fond of her, it didn't mean anything if feelings weren't neutral. Even then, I wasn't entirely sure what I felt for her, beyond being a close friend and confidante. But emotions had never been my strong point.

Regardless, she brushed it off as nothing, and I got the feeling she just mentioned it to elicit a reaction from me. Which it had, so she succeeded, I guess. She and Kokuei had been left to their devices in this room, they discovered a trap door, and then a secret entrance inside the room behind the trap door. She been returning to look for a letter Kokuei left so he wouldn't get in trouble.

Seemingly satisfied with her explanation, she confirmed that was it and made sure it hadn't messed up anything I'd done. Given the strain of her smile, she was concerned despite her cheery demeanor. "No," I repeated, answering honestly to reassure her. "But I don't think snooping around will help." In all honesty, I couldn't bring myself to be curious about her discovery. Unless it impacted our safety in some way, I didn't really care. Taking the papers signed by Oragor from my bag, I looked them over once more to make sure they were memorized, and held them out to Kagerou. "These give us access to any facility we need, and limited access to scrolls at their academy. We'll also have a place to sleep." Assuming she took the papers, I folded my arms. "In exchange I'm doing work for him, to... find out more about what happened to Kirigakure." Partially true. I could only imagine I would wind up doing less desirable work for him at some point. It was the least I could do after making a fool of myself.

Shadow was right... and wrong. Kagerou had noticed that flinch, and it puzzled her, but she hadn't mentioned it to elicit any sort of reaction out of Shadow. It was genuinely given as potentially good information to have. As she gave the rest of her narration, a part of her started wondering why he had flinched. Her first guess was that perhaps becoming a potential future wife was actually, contrary to her assumption, not helping them. For that to make sense required some serious twists and turns, though. In the end, she could only wave it off as the news was just that cringey that even Shadow, who merely heard about it, had flinched. Honestly, cringeing was probably the appropriate reaction. Kagerou was pretty stumped herself when she suddenly got the proposal thrust at her, but she had decided to take advantage of it.

Accepting the papers Shadow had taken out, Kagerou diligently studied the contract. They had what Shadow had just explained to her, and continued to explain to her as she read, but in more official language.

Her brows furrowed once again. Here Kagerou stood, misunderstanding but also nailing on the head that Shadow saw something (rather, someone) suspicious in Hesrik and reading that this suspicious figure wanted to know more about Kirigakure. Of course, the other terms contained within the contract also stood to cause concern. There was no direct mention of such, but to enter into service of a village naturally elicited in Kagerou's head far less savory tasks than a scouting trip. However, just as it naturally popped into Kagerou's head, she understood Shadow to know what he was doing regarding such matters. The pause/strain in his voice at the end told her as much. Of course, it didn't make her like the idea of him going out and doing whatever mission assigned to him any less. All it did was have her respect his decision in such matters, and accept the decision more easily than perhaps others who didn't grow up taught such worldviews.

Similarly, Kagerou looking up from the papers to frown in heavy, conflicted thought and clear disagreement at the news that Hesrik wanted information on old Kiri but ultimately staying silent was because she had decided to trust Shadow's decision on this matter. Sure, it sounded like a recipe for disaster to go and scout out the Sero for someone who was smart enough to build their own village while she, Shadow, and Takeda were mucking about in the wilds. However, Shadow knew more about the Sero than Kagerou did, especially if all of his memories had reawakened while most of Kagerou's still remained fuzzy.

She wasn't easy to stress, but at this point, even Kagerou had to feel a little bit of frustration. Now, not only was she physically and technically lagging behind Shadow, but even mentally as well. Shadow remembered everything while she was still trying to recall whether the vague idea she had of Kirigakure being overrun and consumed by the Sero had actually happened some time in her life (however long that was, she felt it was pretty long), was just some wild nightmare or speculation she had, or had happened but was only briefly the state of Kiri during one of its infamous Halloweens.

Back to the point. Shadow, between being brother of Jack, Mizukage Sypher's successor, and of high rank during the early days of the Sero, was privy to far more information about the Sero than Kagerou. He also knew more about Hesrik, having met him, and Kagerou, at this point, acknowledged the conjectures she had about the Kokorogakure leader were simply conjectures not even about Hesrik but what she thought Shadow thought about Hesrik. She still suspected he was hiding something about the stranger that made him feel uneasy, but it didn't necessarily make him harmful.

Anyways, long story short, Shadow had all of the information, and Kagerou was sensible enough to not make a fool out of herself and pretend like she knew better. She didn't like it. Moreover, she was worried. Kirigakure. The Sero. The contract binding only Shadow while she and Takeda benefited. Worry was the main cause of the creases between her brow.

Luckily for Kagerou, creases were nothing that couldn't be solved with a deep breath, so one deep breath later, her forehead had smoothed out. No smile yet, though, and with the way Kagerou held Shadow's papers up to her mouth, the bottom half of her face was concealed by the pages.

An errant thought: "If I ate this paper, then would the contract become null and void?".

She couldn't argue. She couldn't tell him "no." It took her another breath, though not as deep, for her to recover her smile. A genuine one. There was, after all, only one thing to do in this case. "Whatever you end up doing, regarding Kirigakure or Kokorogakure, you're taking Takeda and me with you. Okay, now I know you said we shouldn't go snooping around, but I think Kokuei already started, so we need to hurry if we want to catch up to him. I'll go down and bring him up right away. Could you please replace Kokuei's note with something regarding your release by Hesrik and how you came to pick us up or something? I dunno, whatever keeps him out of trouble best." The only thing Kagerou could do was offer him her support and then force him to accept it by not giving him any room to reject~

[x]Kagerou seemed stressed about something, given the heavy frown she bore. Was it something I'd said? I could read emotions, but associating those emotions with words said wasn't one of my strengths. She took a deep breath, though, and that stress was released. She was mostly back to normal, minus a smile--although the bottom half of her face was covered, I could see it in her eyes.

I shifted my attention away again, observing the plants that filled the room as she spoke so she didn't think that I was looking too deep into her thoughts. Her reaction did worry me, but there wasn't exactly anything I could do about it. I grimaced at the mention of taking her and Takeda with me on missions regarding Kirigakure. Did this first one count toward that? Oragor wanted me to capture a creature they could study and potentially train into a mount. The long term goal was to use those mounts to get to Kirigakure, miles from the town, efficiently. But my mission itself didn't have to get them involved. Especially because tracking was my area of expertise.

I didn't respond to the statement, nor did she wait for me to. She wasn't going to let me refuse. Regardless of wanting to keep her out of danger, she wasn't going to find her way into it even if I wanted her to stay. Maybe it was because she had been a genin the majority of the time I knew her, I forgot that she had, at some point, gotten stronger. Maybe even outranked me eventually, given I 'died' fairly young.

The conversation moved on to finding Kokuei somewhere in the hidden route under the room, and replacing the letter he'd left somewhere in the room. She wanted to catch up with him while I explained the situation in a letter. I just nodded in response, my gaze returning to her for a moment before I turned away to find the letter mentioned.

Finding it was easy enough, following the scent I could clearly identify as Kokuei's now to the paper. It was left in the same area as the bed, on a table (or on the bed if there was no table). I skimmed through the note, frowning slightly as I read. He said too much, in my opinion. Though, if it had been me, I would have left without a word, so it was better than nothing, I supposed. Folding the note in half twice, I stuck it in my bag and pulled a blank page from my sketchbook. But that was about as far as I got for a long moment, considering the best words to use. The only reason I finally forced myself to do anything was because I wanted to be finished by the time Kagerou got back.

I've personally spoken to Oragor, and we have been given permission to stay in your town for the time being. If you have any issues with this, you can talk to your leader or confront me directly. My friends are not connected to what happened, so leave them out of it.

Crude, probably, but in all honesty I didn't feel like I owed him any more. I understood he was just doing his job, so if there was an issue, it was best he faced it head on and took it up with his leader. Outside of telling him they knew me, Kagerou and Kokuei didn't know why I'd attacked Oragor, so interrogating them was pointless. I placed the note in the same spot I'd taken Kokeui's from and moved to the door leading to the rest of the tower to wait for the other two.

Kagerou ran down the stairs to catch up with Kokuei as soon as she finished speaking with Shadow, and upon seeing him, promptly shouted, "Kokuei! Wait up!". Upon reaching him, she promptly tackled his arm into a hug.

...

You know, assuming she hit, but really. If Kokuei tried to dodge the announced presence of Kagerou, then he was basically sentencing her to losing her balance and then inevitably falling down the stairs. Now, really, would Kokuei really do something as cruel as that?

So assuming Kokuei didn't cause Kagerou to risk breaking a few bones, Kagerou would explain with a toothy grin as soon as she had caught up, "We're going back up! Shadow found us, and it looks like he's had a chat with the leader. Considering that, it's probably for the best that we don't snoop anywhere that could cause trouble anymore."

"Hey! Shadow!" Kagerou's voice preceded her physical form as she returned the room. Heck, even Kokuei's form preceded Kagerou's voice as she rag doll tossed him up through the trap door. She climbed out soon after, explaining why she had called out to him so early, "Look, seems like Kokuei has the same condition as Takeda."

Exactly as she spoke, the rag dolled Kokuei would blankly stand up and blankly stare, little more than a part of the background. The AFK condition. Well, as Kagerou mentioned. Takeda frequently entered such states, so there was (probably) nothing to worry about too much. If there was, then Kagerou wouldn't know what to do about it anyways, so she didn't bother with the superfluous and unhelpful.

AFK Kokuei followed along with Kagerou as she walked to the door and, after clearing it of the obstacles Shadow placed in the way, opened it for Kokuei and Shadow. She smiled, and as she had been unceremoniously carried up, she figured Shadow would have the best idea about how to get down without getting lost, so she waited for Shadow to take the lead once they were out of the terribly hot and humid island room.

Of course, little did she know, Shadow was teleported to the office so... you know.

[x] The wait was a couple of minutes at best while I kept my attention fixed on the door, listening for any sign of sounds beyond it. Thankfully, there were none. Kagerou spoke from somewhere behind me, and I turned an ear toward her voice before turning to look at her as she approached. She mentioned Kokuei seemed to have the 'same condition as Takeda', in that he silently followed Kagerou with evidently nothing to stay. From the brief time I'd known him before that was hard to believe.

I didn't think much on it and moved on, watching Kagerou remove my arrow from the hinge of the door. I quietly took it from her, returning it to my bag, and led the way out of the room, down the hall, and started down the stairs.

Silent I remained for a good portion of the way down, more comfortable in the usual amicable silence that passed between us rather than the awkwardness of me speaking out of nowhere. Eventually though, I decided it was best to speak up again. "I want to go to the academy and see if there's anything I can learn there." I glanced over my shoulder to Kagerou, but quickly looked forward again so I didn't trip. "After that, I'll try to get some sleep before I start my mission." I hesitated, debating whether or not I wanted to offer her to come along. I wasn't so sure I even had a choice in that, given her comment earlier. Sighing inwardly, I explained the task briefly. "Oragor wants me to bring him some sort of lizard creature found in the region. He wants to see if they can be trained, I guess."

Whether or not she took the explanation as an invitation was up to her. If there was nothing else to be said, I would lead the rest of the way out in silence.

Kagerou hummed lightly on her way down. Even though she no longer had her bells from her past life, she still found ways to fill the silence. Of course, only when it was appropriate. Once Shadow started speaking, Kagerou's humming faded and she listened carefully to him. She was going down, in the same direction that she faced Shadow in, so she could glue her eyes to his figure without worrying about missing a step. She could see the hesitation in his pause, and was fully read to ask what else he wanted to say if he said nothing. Fortunately, Shadow came clean about it, saving the two of them a lot of time.

Earlier, Kagerou had promised she and Takeda would accompany Shadow wherever he went. Therefore, it was a given now that, of course they would be accompanying Shadow. It didn't even need any mentioning. Kagerou jumped right into laying out the details, readily agreeing with Shadow's schedule of events, "Okay, then while we're at the academy I'll relearn as much of my eiseijutsu as I can and work on some genjutsu that might help us bring these lizards back. I'll also try to see if I can find that sleep genjutsu that I used to know to help you get some sleep. Now all we need to do is find Takeda." Her voice and smile gave the impression that she was simply planning out a picnic with friends.

[x] I figured about as much--that she had every intention of coming along--and wasn't the least surprised when she started making her own plans. Relearn eiseijutsu and some genjutsu, basically make sure I got some sleep, and we needed to find Takeda. The second part drew a scowl from me. But I supposed, if I recalled correctly, the genjutsu caused a dreamless sleep, so it might might well be worth the try. Since it was often reliving what I saw while awake that kept me from getting a good rest in the first place.

I honestly had no idea what to expect from these lizard creatures Oragor wanted me--us to bring back. And something told me he didn't either. So it was best to be as prepared as possible, and that meant diversifying. Drawing on the image of the map I'd memorized of the town, I started off toward the academy and the hidden main part of the village without another word.

Footsteps. Several. Baranara wanted post-haste to check on his 'captives' little did he know they had escaped long ago. Good thing as they likely would have baked into fine meals by now. The fifth floor that is where they would stop and Baranara would tell the group in attendance to divide themselves among the seating in meeting quarters. Hesrick had said this was the room intended for foreign delegation. Although Baranara doubted highly that there was anything 'foregin' that could delegate until now. "Waiting here Nice Tits." He'd say again with the loose pronunciation of the difficult name. He still couldn't get over their ugliness but at the very least the name christened was at least acceptable in truth.

"Now wait." Baranara would move to the end of the room next to the two chairs designed for both him and Hesrick to sit it which were of course slightly bigger than the others with two similar slightly bigger chairs on the opposite end where the translator and the monarch of the bird folk should have seated themselves. "Ahem." The man closed his eyes then would bend his head upward. Then he'd open his eyes and start banging his spear on the lower floor causing the building to rumble. This was normal, the spires paging system Hesrick would have been familiar with by now was of course this. "OREGANOOOOO! THERE IS PEOPLE WHO IS WANTING TO BE TALKING TO US ABOUT THINGS! BE COMING DOWN!" repetitive thumps to where even if he wasn't heard Hesrick would know who was causing it so long as he was in the spire. Time an again had he been told not to do this but it didn't change the fact he still did.

[ A ]s the visiting Anzu somewhat meandered about the room, taking in the strange furnishings and decorations and ignoring the significant number of stares that came from visitors below, there came a click from above as the door to the upper floors unlocked. It opened ponderously, making not a noise as it revealed blackness beyond. No light, no sound, until the black robes of the Kokorokage split from the shadows and revealed his visage for all to see. He had been in the middle of completing his rituals for his new spells when the thundering from below had interrupted him. Thankfully the spell had been one of his older, more familiar ones from the days of yore, and that familiarity alone had allowed him to complete his desired outcome. As he stepped from the shadows to reveal himself the ancient man slid his spellbook into his robes, a movement that appeared smooth and likely unnoticed given the simple nature of the movement. Casting his gaze lower to scan for his Consul of War it took Hesrik a moment to truly notice exactly what had graced his political hall, and another to find Baranara in their midst.
tab Not that he let it show but this was a rather unexpected visit. Savages of the new world, he was willing to bet, though savages with some level of society given the myriad displays of patterns and colors that were near universal displays of rank and titles. Rat-like creatures with wings of harpies, he'd had reports of these strange people on more than one occasion yet had never been able to get his recruits to find any for conversation. It appeared that now that was to change.
tab Tilting his head to the side, giving clear indication of his confusion while he clasped his hands behind his back, Hesrik kept his vantage point for his opening words. Given his stance and placement within the hall his voice would carry with the hollow echo of authority in the sudden silence, amplifying what he'd always learned to be the image of being bigger and more authoritative than those in the room. "Hello, Baranara," he began, tone light and tinged with curiosity. "I see you have brought visitors into our home. Might I have an introduction?"
tab As the translator leaned to speak within its master's ear Hesrik paid notice, and turned his eyes back to Barnara. Strange that they seemed to know their language, given the definitive silence between their species and communities. A spell or jutsu, perhaps? Not likely a sticking point, but it did leave a sour taste in his mouth. Or would, if he had one. But the biggest problem was not knowing exactly what it was, and how to counteract it if he spoke a different language than the common tongue.

Of course, Baranara wouldn't feel that authoritative aura Hesrick had in his current position. One, he was too thick-headed, and Two, he emitted his own albeit one he himself was unaware of. Baranara would slam his feet on the ground then his hand on the meeting table. First looking at Hesrick then back to the birds. "Oregano!" he pointed with his spears blunt end at the lady. "This is NICE TITS! This...ME DON'T KNOW." He'd say pointing to the translator then their monarch shortly after. He'd fold his arms Hesrick was already well aware when it came to difficult to pronounce names he wasn't going to get the straight and an narrow.

"They say something going make world shake. World not shaking, they said they explain when brining to Oregano, well now they here and more important now they tell why world shaking when clearly world not shaking." Metaphors and such were of course beyond Baranara at times. Unless it was black and white he'd defer to the literal. A conversationalist he was not, a leader...perhaps. Baranara would puff up his chest before a faint winds emitted from his person. Not any technique mind you just a wind from his girth alone..okay..fine he broke wind...BUT at least it didn't carry a smell to it aside the pungent aroma of more bananas. His decorum jangled and the floor was now Hesricks and the bird folk but the man would make one thing certain. "No being keeping secrets now. All word said you say in our people tongue. If sentence longer or shorter...no good." His eyes narrowed, how he was intent on judging translation was in a number of syllables and whether they closely aligned enough. Truly a simple man's solution.

[ H ]esrik wasn't exactly incredulous at the brazen words that Baranara used, for he always had bungled the name he'd taken upon himself at every turn. More, he was somewhat startled at the expression on the clearly noble's face when their translator spoke after the savage had ceased to speak. It wasn't something familiar, not in the traditional sense with a human face and a human mind behind it, but it did look vaguely like...embarrassment? Given the words the creature seemed to be making with its hoots, growls, and snarls, it appeared that the translation was clear, concise, and to the point, something that shouldn't have been possible. Did they, perhaps, find a human to learn from? Or was it something else, a spell to translate automatically for them, one seemingly inherent in one individual and not the other? Gaze shifting between the two as the translations came to a close the Kokorokage wondered at the difference in their flesh, with the noble bearing feathers while the translator had flaps of fat. Were they plucked or born that way, he wondered as he began to make his way down, even as the Translator turned to him and bowed. Another oddity.
tab "Greetings," she began, her tone polite despite the inherent gravel in her voice. "I am Nais Zilyavish Karzgyarl, translator for the city of Alustreel. You may call me Nais." With this she side eyed Baranara before continuing, her cheeks turning a slightly darker shade of purple. "My lady, Alust Vixyar'z il Hul'ywin, First Lady of the Circle, High Lady of Life, and Consort of Protection, has come to learn of your kind, and to establish trade if at all possible."
tab Hesrik had to stop at those names and think them over carefully just to pronounce them, let alone handle and dissect the titles as they were spoken to him. Strange that they addressed with titles at all. It was very...human. Medieval and in many cases classical, but human nonetheless. That was in and of itself something to be prized for it meant he could understand them. There were bound to be alien terms and desires, just based on their anatomies alone, but if their culture held similar rules...yes, he could work with that. As he stepped onto the final landing the Kokorokage turned his eyes to Baranara and nodded in thanks. "Greetings from the Village Hidden in the Heart, lady Nais, and to your Ladyship as well," he whispered, his voice carrying in the silence, though the last word did come with an inhalation that was quickly cut short by the foul reek of potassium that always exuded from his Consul of War. Eyes narrowed, he made a lightly clicking noise with his fingertips as they clacked against each other, long nails tacking away at one another in a sign of his annoyance. "My Consul has done well into showing you here. I must admit, I, too, looked to the day our races should meet. Too long we have passed each other by, staying to our borders, testing each other in matters small and large."
tab As the translator finished her duty there was not a peep from the crowd, not a single reaction to what amounted to being called out on attacking humans. There had been reports, some that Baranara had seen but nothing definitive. But seeing them now, the bows and spears on their backs, he knew it was them. It was what he would have done in their shoes, tested their strength and tenacity. In short, Hesrik very much doubted they were as innocent as they acted.
tab Turning to look at them again, but this time addressing Baranara, he continued. "I just received reports that others of their kind, skin red as sin, make their way here. Are they...friends, I wonder?"
tab Nais's face paled, more than was thought possible, before turning after a moment's hesitation to explain. Their leader's eyes squinted in a display of some emotion, but that was all she gave off. Instead she turned her eyes to Baranara and hooted once, her feathers ruffling about her as she did. Nais turned to Baranara before a speech followed from their Lady, and Nais translated. "My Lady says you are a warrior much as they are. It perhaps would be best if you spoke with them. They are...not good with humans. They are much more...unstable...violent than we."

As Tatsuki and her friend, Hakaze the eagle, made there way- well more so ran there way, into the large tower with the gates closing in for the night Tatsuki panted softly and stopped to catch her breath, Hakaze merely perched on her shoulder looking down on her waiting for her to move forward. As Tatsuki began to compose herself she would take note of the surrounding area. Vegetation, comfortable seating, dim lighting. It was refreshing to see such civilization after so long camping out in the wilds of this new world. As she dusted herself off for a moment to make herself presentable, she pulled her hood down and tried to find what would be a reception desk but came up with nothing. Soon though she came across a staircase with a sign pointing up. Curious on where it may lead to, other than more of the tower, she decided to ascend.

Her first stop was the hall of records, and while she thought that would be a good place to start she knew that only those accepted into the village would have access to it. Sense the writings where probably written in sensitive codes and have information that they didn't leaked outside the walls of there village, so that was a bust. The next floor however seemed more promising as it was more of a reception hall in her eyes. though with the thirteen doors it seemed more like a office building floor than anything else.

Tatsuki then looked to Hakaze and with a confident nod began to look around and exclaim, "HELLO! Is there anyone here!? I need to talk to someone about whats going on in this world! I've been... Asleep? I guess? and I dont know where i am or what is going on. HELLO!" She would try this every couple of minutes and would even yell this into the doors to see if they perhaps had people in them to help explain. Being annoying she knew was going to be a troublesome first impression but it was the only way currently to get answers.

Meanwhile Hakaze screeched and squawked throughout the floor hoping the more stranger sound of a bird of prey indoors might be more interesting then a girl screaming aloud.
