JustxAlice Hi all! My name is Alice! Female (she/her), 24 years old, from the USA! I've been roleplaying on and off for about ten years now plus I write stuff on the side sometimes! I am currently working at a local nonprofit doing a million and a half different things I also nanny on the side because working at a nonprofit is definitely not a lucrative career and this girl needs to pay off her student loans. I am also currently applying to grad school, and should probably be writing my personal reflection instead of roleplaying (but my brain deserves a break!).
I'm lowkey into horoscope stuff/natal charts. I'm a Leo, Libra moon and Libra rising (oh no help me please god). I also live for angst, because I never moved on from high school, apparently.
Roleplay-wise, I'm really into fantasy, action/adventure, and romance whee Hello there! Best of luck applying to grad school. Are you going for an on-campus degree or online school?

Hello everyone! My gaia username is long, so you can call me Shiroi, Muse, Shi, or Mizu as one of my old friends so lovingly called me. I'm a 28 year old grandma, so excuse me if I forget small or important details, the long naps really do wonders for my memory. XD
Recently just graduated from grad school as a librarian, so if anyone's got any good book recommendations let me know because my dream is to update all our libraries one old book at a time. Other than that though, I work in retail for the time being until I can actually get a library job somewhere, heh. That being said, I have a passion for writing that hasn't been met in a while due to various circumstances, but I've been around in the rp scene for 10+ years I want to say. Am addicted to fantasy, action and romance genres, and tend to gravitate towards dark, dramatic, idiotic, or odd characters. I feel like I need more direction in character building and setting/world creation so looking forward to critiques on those aspects!
And if I poof for any reason it's probably because I got sucked into another game somewhere, or am playing with my pups--even if one is eight years old now, she's still a pup in my eyes, ha ha. And I think that's all that can be said about me, but looking forward to rping with everyone!

LucidRain Welcome, fellow grandma! Your character types sound great. I love the dark/dramatic/idiotic/odd characters other people do, but I've not been confident enough to try one myself yet. My character in Arcane Academy is a bit of a stretch for me writing-wise since she's so bold and aggressive.

And I have one actual pup who's eight. Our other pup is a foster service dog who's four months old. We train her for eight months and then send her back to the Service Academy where she gets her advanced training. Trying to get her to not eat everything is a challenge right now. Do you have pups of your own? ^_^

I'm a 22 year old warehouse worker that has daringly taken on the night shift, so, a quick forewarning to my fellow role-players that my responses on my off days will be late at night and very very early in the morning. I joined Gaia back when it started under the name "adispark" but got hacked so I have come back as a smarter user.
Most of my days are spent either working, sleeping, or a combination of Gaia and Grand Chase History. It's good to be back in the role-playing community but I do apologize in advanced if I'm a little slow in catching up on all the changes.
My roleplay preference is usually fantasy/romance because a good, heart-felt love story is always enjoyable, especially if you throw some romantic-comedy elements in there. Sometimes I can get really carried away with responses or writing in general so I do want to apologize for that as well!!!

shiroi_karasumuse Thanks for the welcome! Oh? I'm interested to see this character now. It's always hard but cathartic to write characters so vastly different from what you're used to X3

Do you have pups of your own? ^_^ Aww I have a friend who fosters dogs! I hope the little one stops eating everything. My parents got a new puppy and that's their challenge right now, too.
We have a weimaraner-lab mix. We're not sure how old he is because my boyfriend found him abandoned on the side of the highway a couple years ago. He likes to lean on things, especially me and especially right when I walk in the door. Also one of our cats thinks he's a dog, so he sort of counts.

YO i am SO SORRY i forgot i joined this guild lmao
i meant to introduce myself so long ago! i've never been part of a guild on gaia, so sorry folks.
anyway i'm gail, 23/f, she/her.
i've been roleplaying for over a decade and got my start on NEOPETS (wolf roleplay > fantasy > avatar: the last airbender (my first fandom!), quickly transferred to IMVU (naruto), then to gaia (started an aim avengers roleplay that gained me life-long friends i met irl, did more original stuff again, hunger games), then to tumblr (started a WWE group wherein we created and actually wrote matches/drama for original shows, it was incredible and i'm proud to this day. also more avengers), and now i've circled back to gaia!
idk if anyone cares about that history but it was fun to type lmao. i currently do both original/fandom roleplays and luuurve playing canons. i'm also super into discord roleplay and don't actually do much ON gaia except the first group roleplay i've just joined and i'm mega excited about.
i'd describe my style as....uuuuuuh semi-poetic, minimalist, implicit, stylized? i don't over-describe and i do a lot of 'asides'; my character's thoughts integreated into normal prose.
that was ALL roleplay related so here's some personal tidbits. wow i do go on, don't i.

- laughing out loud at language-based foibles (old people on the internet, autocorrect, typos, you-tried-your-best english translations, etc PEAK humor)

LOL wildly I’m SUPER back into avatar now, I got this crazy burst of nostalgia and started a Zuko/oc, ty lee/Azula, korra/anon, and zuk/katara (wherein I’m playing katara for the first time and it’s prob my fave roleplay right now, I already drew 2 pieces of fanart for it LOL) I’d say that’s my main fandom rn but I’m hoping to do a naruto one soon (naruto/Sakura, the baes) and I do marvel! I mostly play captain Rogers and have a few of those goin right now;; would loveeee to try Wanda tho and would play almost anyone in a group/chatplay setting. I don’t watch much stuff tbh movies or tv shows but I have vague interest in a James Bond type roleplay, , possibly LOTR but I’m worried I’ll way out of my league there having not read the books. Obsessively watched the movies for years at least! I do play dnd but I don’t consider roleplaying it to really be a fandom?? Idk And I’m familiar w/ Harry Potter but also not too interested in writing that atm.
