Mordred Pendragon While K and Banks fussed, Mory had caught sight of one particular person, (well, cat) that really was out of his element in many way. For one thing, everyone was people! And cats running underfoot was dangerous to say the least. Mory stayed where whe was, watching from the corner of her eye as Arther got close and when he decided to say hello and pretend to be a normal cat. She scooped him up and immedietly nuzzled her face into his fur. "You could have been stepped on." She muttered, but softened quickly enough. "But I'm glad to see you." However, explaining that you had a cat for a dad would likely not go over well with Banks, given he'd not get it, and K would probably go into a fit. Plus...middle of a convention. Not a good place to start having Arthur talk. "Uh, Banks, Pietro, this is Arthur." She held him close, petting his back. "My uh-" "My cat."

Robert Banks
Hazel eyes fell upon the blonde haired girl at just about the same time as he felt strong fingers wrap around his arm. Rob let out a startled noise at the sudden grab, the lawyer quickly trying to collect himself at recognizing the offending arm's owner.
“Christ, Kavinsky, you can't just walk up and grab a man.”
Then again, walking up and grabbing a man seemed like exactly something Kavinsky would do.
But K was already explaining to Mory as to why the older man had made an appearance at a convention that was very unlike his style. At hearing that the teenager had already gotten into mischief by making a gambling ring, Rob couldn't help but grin. One hand moved up to try to stifle his smirk but the mirth was clear in his eyes.
“Quite the entrepreneur,” he mused aloud, glancing over towards the Russian, who hopefully wasn't too irked with his impish ward. When he looked back, however, Mory was lifting up a cat, of all things, and presenting it to the duo.
“I...didn’t know your little family had added a pet to the mix. Kavinsky, you big softie, I would have never pegged you for being the cat-type.”

RevenI know I saw her, where the hell did she...There!The girl Reven had helped awaken not that long ago, she'd recognize her anywhere she thought, despite her looking considerably less pathetic out of the rain. Careful of the folks walking up and down along the booths, Reven slunk her way from table to table, weaving around legs and under table clothes until she managed to reach the booth the pink haired girl was apparently stationed at. "Psst," she hissed up at her, reaching a paw out from the cover of the table to catch the lace of her sock with a claw, tugging it gently. "Hey, down here." Izume Sato-Himura"I know video games aren't really your thing or whatever but this is still fun, right?" Izume had her arm linked with Lovina's grip a little tighter than her forced calm exterior could account for. Nervous about having talked her friend into going somewhere that she'd find absolutely boring, and ruining what should otherwise be a lovely afternoon. Which was silly, she knew. Lovi didn't usually care where they went so long as they went somewhere off campus. She'd like this too--surrounded by people, booths full of merchandise and snacks. There was no reason not to like it. But she was still nervous. She found the more time she spent with the other girl the more the nerves presented themselves over every little thing. Izzy wasn't entirely sure why. Well, she had an idea, maybe. But she didn't want to address it. Didn't want to chance ruin anything. Her fingers flexed against a slender arm. "Are you hungry? We could get a snack first. Something in here smells really good." Maybe she just had low blood sugar. Food would help. Definitely.

Cassiopeia LyonsCassie was not entirely sure why she'd decided to give the convention a walk through. There wasn't anyone there she knew, or at least she didn't think so. Cas wasn't, that was for sure. Probably off somewhere being gross with his husband and hiding from his family. Jerk. Okay, so she was still a little miffed at him for eloping and not telling her or her mother, but Micheal was nice enough, and they certainly seemed happy enough. She could be happy for them. Totally not jealous of someone else getting all her twin's attention now. Lips twisted in irritation, the girl wandered into the exhibition hall with arms folded over the busy print of the halter top she was wearing over her bikini. Maybe this was a dumb idea, there's obviously nothing for me to do he-wait a minute. I know him!"Hey!" Voice raising above the overall din of th crowd Cassie hoisted a hand up to wave at the very familiar man with red hair standing not to far off with a girl in a sundress and large hat in tow. Girlfriend maybe? "Branden, hey!" She made her way over to them, sinking thumbs into her back pockets as she rocked to a halt. "Still alive I see, must be getting along with the waves again. Or avoiding them," she amended with a chuckle. Then she was grinning at the other girl, offering her hand. "Hi, I'm Cassiopeia."

Brendan Gutierrez
"Nope!" He had enough pep for the both of them and took Gwen's arm casually, tugging her along as they explored the venue. There were panels already ongoing, but he wasn't one to really sit down and listen unless it really grabbed his attention. He figured it'd be best to ferry Gwen around until something caught their eye.
Media wasn't Brendan's sphere of interest, and it didn't look like it was hers either. Still, it was an event, and events generally meant the following: free swag, decent food, and meeting new people. She seemed generally hermetic in nature, but while Brendan was the last person to be telling other people what to do with their lives, he felt that she needed a friend as much as she needed a roommate. And friends sometimes made friends go out to do stuff, even if they looked like a step closer to death. Well, he knew what he could do to try and cheer her up.
"Here, pizza and drinks on me," he told her as they drew towards the booth, fishing his wallet out of his back pocket. Food bribery couldn't possibly be a bad choice. He said to the attendant, "One large whatever the lady wants," as he truly didn't care about toppings, adding two large drinks to the charge as he grabbed the cups himself. He was passing one to Gwen when someone called his name.
Blinking, Brendan turned towards the voice and grinned as he picked out his savior from a few weeks ago. "Sup, girl?" he greeted her. "Cassie, roomie. Gwen, Girl Jesus from the beach. She caught me after a bad wave."

Lovina Lee"As long as I don't have to play them? I'm totally okay with this. Cons mean food and people to talk to and fun stuff to collect!" Plus it was time where she could hang out with her friend-turned-coworker! Lovi bent her elbow tighter about her friend's arm in a response to their nonverbal conversation. The rest of Lovi's attention went basically everywhere as she took in the different booths, wares, lights and more. With how noisy it was and how crowded it got to be, she felt like Izzy and she could spend forever in there, and that was just the exhibition hall!
"Oh-em-gee though, I'm starved! I feel like I could eat an entire room full of con food right now. Let's check and see what they've got!" She laid a hand on Izzy's elbow and gave a vigorous tug to start pealing through the crowd. There were people completely everywhere now, and Lovi was wary of losing her friend to the milling people-farm. How would they even find each other anyway? The cell phone towers were so overloaded with connections that she couldn't get her cell to do anything.
Turning to the side, Lovi slipped past two groups of stragglers that stood in the way and started for the food places built into the wall. "I'm totally gonna eat everything. Like, chicken strips and fried potatoes and those weird octopus balls like they have in Japan!" She giggled, smiling at her friend, as she tried to stay together.

Stormy Ortega
The booth Torin chose had a decent spread of bakery sweets, each plastic wrapped and tied with a bright ribbon that denoted a particular category: this one had nuts, this one had blueberries (or fruit in general), and so on. Additionally, there was a box advertising a few of the shop's tea blends that complimented the baked goods that were available as well as scattered folded menus. Alongside Stormy, who wore TEArimisu's apron and who constantly kept making sure it was tied neat and looked cleanly and professional, was a plushie red panda that stood sentinel over the cash box. It looked like it had seen better days.
"Hello!" she chirped as the customer approached, perking up in her seat. "Care to taste our cinnabons?" She gestured to a small batch of round cake balls nestled in a four piece container within its plastic bag, glazed with icing. "They have a gooey center and are fresh!" (She thought, anyway.)
Something tugged at her foot, and Stormy glanced down briefly, surprised that the convention allowed animals. Except this one was one she knew and talking and--oh dear. Here? As surreptitious as she could, Stormy reached down as if to scratch under her sock, instead scratching under the kitten's chin in a quiet hello and uh hello hi what are you doing here you cute thing. Wait, there weren't youma about, right? That had been her only interaction with a guardian cat after all, literally on the run from one. Crap, the last thing she needed was extra stress in the middle of a crowd...

Cynthia DesjardinsIt was finally after the panels, and Cynthia felt a little bit more excited to actually do something rather than sitting around listening to people talk. If she wanted to do that, she could just see them on youtube. While eating or doing something else. Not that they hadn’t been informative but… they just weren’t for her. It was unfortunate, but the convention really didn’t have anything to offer in terms of photography. If there was a suggestion box, she would need to find it and put in a suggestion about it. Finally, though, she was at the main point of the convention, the part the she always looked the most forward to. The vendors! Even if some of the things, such as the food, were a bit overpriced she would happily pay it as long as she could go around looking at things and buying something. Anything to tell her that the trip was worth it. First though, she was hungry, and luckily for her the line for the pizza was pretty small and soon enough she was munching on a couple of slices on a bench, looking around to see if she could take a peek at any of the products that were on display. There was some nice graphic designs, something she might need later if she were to go into photography professionally. There was also cat clothing. She wondered if she should text her boyfriend to see what the size of his cat was to buy a little outfit. She didn’t believe any returns, if allowed, would be easy since it was a convention vendor. There was what looked like a farmer’s market stall, and she was wondering why someone would be selling fresh food there. Not that it was a bad thing, but people couldn’t exactly buy the stuff and wander around with it for hours. She might pop by it when she was finally leaving the convention. A corner game shop, she would have to check that out, some sort of… not-named thing that looked a bit interesting, but she felt as though she should stay away from it. Finally, there were two booths that she just had to see. The TEArimisu, after her pizza had settled for a bit, and the Bea’s Bear-N-Steins. If there was anything that she had to get a souvenir of or something to remember an event by, stuffed animals were great for it. According to the name, they were probably a mish-mash of many other stuffed animals together, which didn’t sound too appealing, but perhaps she would find something in there that she liked. The TEArimisu though looked amazing. Tea selections and a little bakery? Count her in! Maybe she could even find some different teas to introduce to her boyfriend? Finally, she had finished the pizza and managed to gulp about half of the soda she had bought down before needing to cap it. She stood up, threw away what she needed to, and headed quickly for the restroom just to wash her face a bit. If there was one thing that was terrible about pizza, it was the smell that would sometimes linger around one’s mouth. After she was done with that though, she headed straight over to TEARimisu and started to browse through the selection. medigel if you don't want to read all of that, the relevant stuff is the last sentence XD

Kavinsky
Kavinsky had never seen that cat before and he looked at Mory with narrowed eyes and an expression wrought with suspicion. "Wh--" He stopped himself, contemplated his thoughts and decided that they'd been going over enough Russian that she would probably understand enough to get the point of his question if he switched languages.
"когда вы получили кошку?"
It didn't take knowing what he was saying in either language to know that he was unhappy, but then again, that could have just been his face.
His attention shifted back to the lawyer, who's arm he still had a hold of and he shook his head. "Be more aware of your surroundings," he scolded, gruffness resettling over him.
"I have a cat, you just don't see her," he corrected, before squinting at Arthur again. "Invy comes and goes as she pleases." She also fed herself mostly and was just as bristly as her owner, if he was even that. Bonded? It was confusing and he didn't care that much.
"Cats are less troublesome than people." Except when they talked. And turned Ellis into a senshi, but that was a whole different thing. "Arthur is new, for Mory."

Arthur the guardian cat
Arthur purred loudly as Mordred rubbed against his fur, pleased and smiling as he turned his head to butt and nuzzle against her face and curling about her. He knew as a cat he needed to show hinself off as only being able to understand and vocalize as a cat. But as a cat, he could get away with a lot. He could appear as if he couldn't understand words and do what he pleased.
He gave Mordred a lick, a kiss, to her brow, and purred against her esr. But in his loud purring, he whisoered into her esr. "I wanted to see you." And now he had a reason to meet this man Mordred now lived with.
The other man kidded with Kavinsky about a happy family, helping Arthur pinpoint who was the human guardian of his daughter. The two men looked chummy and he really didn't want to compete with 2 other dads.
Even more, Arthur's tail puffed at hearing another language he didn't know and the snarky words of the man of some cat he had that was better. Well, if he had a cat at home then that meant he could come over. How nice of this man.
New. He wasn't new. Kavinsky was the NEW one.
Arthur's tail, puffed, swayed back and forth quickly as he nuzzled his daughter before he launced out of her arms and up stop Kavinsky's shoulder's, pushing himself between Banks and him and nuzzling Kavinsky against his head, making sure to run his tail against his face.
Oh no. He was now his pet too. They were a happy family. Kavinsky was his new bestest best owner.
"Meow." He purred into his ear.

RevenReven purred as Stormy scratched beneath the soft point of her chin, body leaning heavily against the girl's leg, tail curled up along the line of her calf. She was a sweet thing, very generous with her affection. It was a shame it'd been The Dark Mirror Court that had found them that night in the storm, she would have made such a lovely corrupt. Still, Reven still counted the girl as one of her's. She'd found her, she'd given her her name and helped her come into her power. She wasn't in the Negaverse, but it still counted. Weight resting against Stormy's leg, the kitten tipped her head up towards where she knew someone was standing. Some guy that was there to peruse the baked goods on display and possible purchase something. Pick something and go away. Izume Sato-Himura"You don't have to play them if you don't want to," she assured her friend, relieved at the excitement she could hear in the other girl's voice. It reinforced the words of reassurance that she was there because she wanted to be, not because of any manner of obligation. She wanted Love to want to spend time with her. A hard tug on her arm got her moving swiftly through the crowd at Lovina's side, and Izzy belatedly registered what the other girl had said. It was a reminder that they hadn't eaten lunch yet, and the purple haired girl felt her stomach rumble insistently. "Yeah,we should." The whole of the exhibit hall smelled like food, the scent drifting out from a wall of vendors as well as a number of booths themselves. Izzy walked swiftly at Lovi's side, stubbornly maintaining her grip on the brunette's arm as slipped artfully through the crowd. "We can get one of everything," she suggested with a grin. "Split it all. I dunno what it is, but event food is great. Greasy as ********, but so good."

Her cheeks puffed up at the idea that she was just an entrepreneur. "I'm an opportunist, not a capitalist Banks." Even if the two tended to align. A lot. Kavinsky however pulled no punches with his tone, and Mory had just enough shame to look admonished. She probably should had told him. "Когда мне нужно было" She made a point to rub her thumb on Arthur's head, smooshing the cap down. Can't show the star in public, not when it was a rather clear dead giveaway of just what kind of cat Arthur was. "I don't see a problem. Arthur took care of me when I was-" She sucked in a breath. It was hard to admit there had been a time where she was homeless and alone. She didn't like to think about it, much less why it had happened. "I'm glad he's here though." She said, more for her cat dad's benefit than her people dads. And then- Arthur took matter into his own paws, abandoning Mory for Kavinsky. She had a guess that he was being sassy and it made her smile, erasing the sadness that had seeped into her moments ago. "He's coming home tonight." She didn't even make it a question, just smiled at Kavinsky. He wouldn't tell her no, not in front of Banks... would he? "You can come over too Banks! I have enough money we can order good Chinese food tonight!"

Lovina Lee"Weeeeelllll…" Lovi drawled out her word as she looked over the menus. With so much of the crowd bustling before them, she found it tough to actually see what she wanted out of the listed food. "It looks like there's corn dogs, and funnel cake, and um… Chicken tenders I think? Plus some asian stuff that I can't pronounce. I think it's Japanese? Maybe it's Korean. I dunno. Oh, there's pho, that one I recognize. Annnnd it looks like they're trying to sell us all the same drinks, which is mostly stuff out of cans and, like, Pepsi products." Not that Lovi cared much for Pepsi, but Izzy might like it. She never really got a bead on her friend's food tastes since they were both relegated to nasty cafeteria food during school.
And they were also used to their uniforms, so seeing Izzy dressed like a normal person was kinda unreal. They hung out before, but Lovi felt the shock of it hit her full force every time they got together off campus. Like suddenly she wasn't just a school friend anymore or something, she couldn't explain it.
But most important was food and eating all of it they could. "So how about I buy the sampler from the place on the right, and you can get whichever other one you want? It looks like the place I chose is basically fair food so I think as long as they're different, it should be okay? And if anything totally blows we can try and see if someone will trade us!" It was sort of like a con within a con, where the dominant currency was delicious eats.
"We'll split up and meet back at the trash can in front of the bathrooms? Actually no, wait, let's meet at that super loud center panel thing where everyone's playing videogames!"

Jade Argent
Her hand had slipped from basic hand-holding to laced fingers handholding with Delilah to secure their grip as the slid through people. The exhibition hall was fuller than she had expected which was good, relieving really, and she let out a slow exhale.
"Things look lively," she said, feeling her smile shift into something more genuine. She wrinkled her nose before she tugged her companion into the crowds, sliding through the crowd with a practice ease from all her time clubbing.
"Is there anything you want to look at?"
