Some people might have been bitter, salty about their lot in life if they'd been in Isaac's position but he seemed rather content about it all. Perhaps it was simple acceptance, knowing that this was how things were and that they likely wouldn't change so what was the point in making waves in an otherwise undisturbed pool?
Isaac was content to keep his head down and to himself.
"No," he answered, nearly leaving it at that because he probably should have been paying attention to Jade's panel but then thought it rude to not elaborate. "I attend school for music theory and composition. I write and play original compositions and help Jade with her parodies, etc." Was that sharing too much? Isaac wasn't sure.
"I do a lot of the set up and testing, given that I have my own recording set up so it's handy to be familiar with that stuff but it's not what I do for a living."

Suri Ellis - Room Two
"Another good question," Suri mused, appraising the gentleman and his accent. "It's true that the AR helmet could be synced to something like Google Glass for remote viewing--however, you'd need multiple cameras and a fairly powerful processor to create a fully integrated environment like the one Ashley is currently in."
"Still, I don't think it is outside the realm of possibility, especially the efforts made by Google to preserve many of these sites as virtual environments." Given enough time, they could even scan and preserve sights like the halls of Negaspace, or the wonders on distant planets. It was a thought that merited more consideration.
"Thank you for your question."

Cynthia Desjardins
Well, she was here, she might as well ask a question. It got to a point where she could finally go up to the mic. She was prepared to be laughed at, but she felt like it was an important question anyway for those who would actually want to be a new fan of this... 'Ally Argent' person. Cynthia cleared her throat before asking, "If someone were completely new to your, Ally Argent, videos, what would be the best video to start with to really get into what you do? Just the beginning or do you have a certain turning point that would be better to start at?" She hoped that wasn't too many questions.

Jade Argent in Room One
The time for QnA came pretty swiftly with people being invited up to a mic near the stage so that their questions would be heard and hopefully answered.
When Cynthia came up Jade flashed her a smile and listened with interest evident in her expression.
"That depends on what you're into," she answered, albeit vaguely. "Most people care for my comedic pieces, so things like the drunk make up tutorial or the how/what girls do in blank are generally good places to start."
It was simple enough but those were her top hits so she felt like they were the best recommends.

Otto Moor - Room One//Security and scheduling assistant
So a little younger than Otto had originally guessed, or maybe he'd gotten a late start. Not that it mattered one way or the other beyond it being a reminder that age was hard to judge.
"A lucky turn of events for her then, by the sounds of it." Otto smiled, arms shifting into a loose fold with the clip board hanging down along one side. "Having someone so close with those sorts of unique skills." Certainly Jade could have learned it all herself had she needed to, but there was something to having someone around you could call on for help.
It sounded like the panel was starting to wind down. Otto glanced up at the stage and Jade as she answered questions then over at the clock on the wall. "Sorry to cut things short, but I need to go make sure the next presenter is ready to go up." He offered and apologetic smile. "It was nice meeting you."
Porsha Webber - Room One
A petite, purple haired figure stood against the wall at the back of the room with her arms folded loosely over her chest and pale eyes directed up to the woman answering questions on stage. Porsha had missed the very beginning of the panel, and she hadn't wanted to disrupt anything by trying to find a seat while Jade had been talking so she'd lingered in the back.
It'd been...awhile since she'd seen Jade last. Porsha had thought at first it was her own busy schedule making it difficult to keep in contact, but after coming home it'd been a little more obvious that there was something preoccupying the pale haired woman's mind. Something more than just sliding into the lead position in a massive entertainment industry. More than becoming a general in her own right. She didn't seem keen on talking about it, and that was fine, but Po missed her.

Adel el-Kader - Room Two
So not exactly an easy to transition, but it sounded like it could certainly be possible given the right equipment. Difficult now, but perhaps easier to achieve in the future. It was something to remember for sure. Given the nature of his on sight research, it might prove a valuable enough resource to be worth the pretty penny he was sure it would cost to make such a thing a reality.
He smiled, nodding as she thanked him for his question. "Thank you for your answer"

Isaac Argent - Room One
The guy-- Otto, he recalled -- was making pleasant enough conversation but that didn't deter Isaac from pulling back and opting to keep quieter when he could. If something said didn't require a response, he let it be and moved on. If it did, he did his best to answer politely.
"It was nice to meet you," Isaac said, because it was true.
Still, he was grateful for the excuse to attempt to slip away. His sister seemed more relaxed as the panel went on and someone was going to be keeping her company and she seemed to be in good hands.
Which meant that he could leave and he had every intention of trying to do just that except when he tried to slip out the back he knocked shoulders with a woman near the door.
"Ah, excuse me," he mumbled, adjusting his glasses when he stepped back to give her space and make sure she was alright.

Jade Argent - Exiting Room One
Despite the fact that she wanted to answer more questions, the time for Jade's panel had concluded and she thanked the viewers that'd stuck around and participated.
"I'll definitely still be around, but even if I can't talk to you one on one, please know that I think you're great and I appreciate you as my fans." There was a kiss blown and Jade had exited the stage, blue eyes cutting over to familiar before she disappeared into one of the back rooms.
((OOC; Suri & Jade's panels have concluded and now the event staff are working with Ezra and Mahogany to get their panels up accordingly.
If you're a panelist, please get a post up in the next 12 hours. If you're an audience member please feel free to stick around or exit to attend other parts of the convention!))
Ezra had a good mix of excitement and anxiety regarding the upcoming panel. He'd only just gotten back into music making as a hobby, and he wasn't quite an expert on the program yet, but he thought he knew enough to give people a working knowledge of the commonly used bits and bobs in FL Studio. The setup process tipped the balance towards nerves again, what with having to hook up the keyboard, the computer, the projector, and what felt like a gazillion other things. Still, he made it through setup, and he knew he had to go out there and do his best. He remembered the sentiment from his theater kid days: the show must go on.
So, here he sat, behind his keyboard, his computer on the desk to his right. He was wishing he had an extra hand or two, but he'd deal with it. “Hello and welcome, everyone! I'm Ezra Cadwell, and I'm here to teach you a thing or two about a program called FL Studio,” he announced, trying to project and enunciate as much as he could. “So, first, what is this program I've got on the screen here? FL Studio is, at its core, a music making program. It operates through the use of a piano roll, patterns, and plugins, or VSTs. Virtual instruments.”
He pulled up a complicated-looking file here. “Don't panic, this is just to show off what the program’s capable of,” Ezra said. “Let's break this down. Each box with little lines in it is a pattern. Patterns are basically groups of one or more entries in the piano roll. I recommend doing one instrument per pattern for the sake of organization, but sometimes you'll find a use for putting them together.” From there, he right clicked on one of the instruments in one of the windows and clicked the option for the piano roll. “And here we have the piano roll, where the magic happens. It might take some getting used to, especially if you're used to normal sheet music notation or a program that uses it like Musescore, but practice makes perfect. Here, let me make a new pattern and throw you a few notes here so you can hear what's going on.” He did just that, maybe a bit too fast for people to be sure of what he was clicking on.
After entering three notes, Ezra realized that he'd pulled up the overdrive guitar for the demonstration and wished that he hadn't. The instrument in question could be incredibly hit or miss in songs, and he hoped he hadn't just offended anyone's ears. “Uh, well, not the prettiest sound in the world, but you can kind of see the cause and effect here, right? Each thicker line is a quarter note, with four little blocks for sections of the note, so you can make 8th notes and shorter ones. And you can see that there's other lines there for the end of a measure.”
He clicked off the piano roll for a second and circled his cursor around the red bars on the window to the right of the screen. “These are automation channels. These can change things like tempo and volume for you over the course of a song. Pretty handy!”
A quick glance at the clock told him he should start wrapping things up, and he hadn't even gotten to the composition part yet. “We're running low on time here, so I'll just give you some resources for composing. Get out your notepads or phone pads, folks. It's more than just plinking notes and hoping for the best; you have to have a plan. I recommend autochords.com for a reference of what notes are in what keys; it even suggests chord progressions for different moods. As for a reference on composing itself, I recommend artofcomposing.com. You have to pay for the fancy course, but there's a free version that's awesome and totally serviceable for learning practical tricks to composing. The guy who runs it is a great guy too.”
At the end, Ezra exhaled heavily, followed by a sheepish chuckle. This hadn't been so bad so far, aside from only having that one Megalovania flp on hand (big oops). “I'm going to open this up here. Any questions or suggestions of things you'd like to see?”

Otto Moor - In the divide between Rooms one and two
Jade's panel had finished and she'd been seen safely off stage and away from the crowd, but he couldn't stay with her long. He had to make sure the other panelists were present and accounted for and had anything they might have needed.
Once they'd been dealt with and were up on the stage themselves the blonde found himself with a few moment to himself for the first time all afternoon and wasn't entirely sure what to do about that.
After a moment of indecision he'd retrieved the bottle of water he'd opened early and retreated to a few chairs set off to one side. His phone was drawn from his pocket and a text shot to Des to see where in the convention hall she'd been stationed, but he didn't expect an immediate answer. She was probably working.
Porsha Webber - Room One
As the panel ended the petite fighter had pushed away from the wall so she could head up to the front to catch Jade before she got to far but she found herself being temporarily derailed as another body bumped into her.
"Oh s**t." She reached out to catch the guy's shoulders to steady him but he'd already stepped back to adjust his glasses so Po let her hands fall back to her sides. "Sorry about that, you okay?" It came with a grin and the ghost o a chuckle as she looked up at him. Then blinked, taken aback by how familiar he looked.
She hadn't met him before, she was almost positive about that, but there was something about him. The shape of his face, or eyes, or something. Po couldn't place a finger on it. "Do...do I know you from somewhere?"
Reven - With Otto And Rory
"Found him!"
There was a good chance Reven wasn't allowed back here, nor Rory for that matter, but the kitten didn't see anyone else hiding out in the dimly lit area between the stages.
She darted out from between Rory's legs to sprint across the open floor to where Otto sat, ducking under his chair before anyone had a chance to see her.

Delilah Samson - following Jade
Perhaps Delilah should have been checking to make sure the panelists got in okay, but they seemed to be managing alright. Delilah smiled when she saw the scheduled panelist for Room Two pass by, entering the room and getting ready to take over for his panel.
She made sure it seemed that Room One was going to be alright before following after Jade.
Delilah was, after all, Jade's assistant.
She had thought Jade had done a good job with her panel, and intended on congratulating her when she found her in the back rooms, wherever she went.

Cynthia Desjardins
Well the panel had been... interesting. Not enough to really catch her interest, but she hoped that there were others who would be more interested. Call her weird, but she just did not get the following of drunken behavior.
Well, she would stay for the next two if possible, but if neither of them interested her either, she would walk out. Maybe there was a reason she hadn't gone to any panels at any cons as of yet...

Sadie Avamir in Room Two
Well, that had been more of a meet and greet than anything, which was fine, she knew that those were important in their own way. The only thing was that Sadie didn't seem to have learned anything, and as things wound down she went back out into the hallway and slipped towards the second room, the one with the that was hosting the music panel.
It wasn't really her area of expertise, but it was maybe something to look into from more of a professional perspective. She did visual design and some sound editing for her videos, so maybe music was the natural next step. Neptune had seen fit to give her an instrument, after all.
She sat through the man's spiel, which mostly went over her head, although the music was lovely, well, for the most part.

Mahogany Shapour
Mahogany was running through his arsenal when they called his name. Arash clapped him on the shoulder as they exited the setup area, Mahogany to the stage and Arash to the audience to film his work. Mahogany wasn't worried. This was just another tutorial and not his first panel. And it certainly wouldn't be his last. Besides that, Mahogany was born for the spotlight so this was like slipping into a warm bath or comfy sweats after a long day.
This was natural.
"Hey there Beauty Bitches," Mahogany called, to a wave of mirrored greetings. He grinned brightly and blew a kiss to his audience before he turned to the model on stage, holding his arms out to her so that she could have her applause. A nice touch to recognize those there to aid you. She rose and curtsied, smiling meekly first at the crowd and then at Mahogany. He only smiled back and nodded. After a few moments of that, he set to work.
Alright, so this panel is to learn how you can put on one look in the morning, take it to work, and then add a few things for date night that evening. It's not as hard as it sounds, trust me. So let's begin. As always I am starting with Embryolise moisturizer just to form a barrier between the skin and the makeup, which can dry out the skin and works as a primer, so it does double duty. And when we're going to be wearing this face for close to 18 hours sisters... we want some protection. Just smooth that on the skin, remembering to never ever pull the skin out from the center of the face. I don't care what anyone tells you, it causes wrinkles. Just push the lotion into your skin, moving from the hairline and the jaw in towards the nose. And once that is done we are going to start the base. I like to apply the foundation first with a brush and then go in and buff it in with a damp beauty blender. I just feel like if you get the foundation on the skin with the brush you don't lose as much product to the sponge soaking it up. So smear it on, and then buff it in with the blender... like... that. Remember I'm using CoverFX, my beauty holy grail, but you will use your own."
Of course, the lights had dried out the blender, so Mahogany had to sacrifice some of his own drinking water to the cause.
"Same with the concealer application. On with the wand if your brand has one or with a concealer brush if it doesn't. I use Tarte Shape Tape along with everyone else on the planet, and it comes with a little lip gloss wand." He held it up so that those close could see it. "And this you will place based on what you want to bring forward. For me, since I am a man, I put the concealer in a triangle under each eye, under my cheekbones, and on the bridge of my nose between my eyes. The last two are to make my face look less angular and masculine, and bring forward a little bit of softness. My model, however, is female, so I will be putting the concealer in triangles under the eye and then along the whole bridge of the nose, leaving some space between the line and the spot on the tip. This is to make the nose look slender and button-like. And buff it in with the blender.
"Next I am going to do her brows. Some people do them first and they are wrong but whatever. No, this is where the distinction starts. You don't want a hard, carved, sharp brow for work. I am also going to go a little lighter in shade than I normally would. So this young lady has brunette hair and medium brown brows. So I will use short upward strokes to fill in with a Benefit brow pencil in medium brown on the back half of the brows and then dark blond on the front. That's it. No brow gel, no concealer carving, nothing. We're going for soft, natural looks for work.
"Prime the eye, I'm using MAC pain pot like I always do with a flat rounded brush. Thin layer sisters thin layer. You only want to make a uniform canvas. Once that is done, we are going to use a fluffy brush and bring some gentle nude in a shade about two shades darker than your skin tone to the crease. I'm using one with a warmer tone because our model has a warm undertone to her skin, but if your undertones are cool, use a cool tan. Smoke it out so that it looks like you just have these sultry, deep-set eyes and not like you're wearing makeup. The outer corners get a nude shade slightly darker than your skin tone, and then a shimmer in the inner corners. Apply some brown mascara and that's it for the eyes. If you wanted you could do a thin wingless eye liner in brown, but I won't. Cute right?"
He paused for people to get a good loke and then went on.
"We're not going to contour for the day, so just buff on some bronzer and a light shimmer blush in coral. Today I am using both products from Anastasia Beverly Hills. And that's it. No high light, no contour, just a fresh, dewy, natural look. You can leave the lips naked or use a very light nude or pink depender on your skin tone.
"You ready to do it up?"
Cheers from the crowd.
"Alright let's go. So once you get home you are going to want to spot correct any holes in the base first of all. We won't now because it's been two seconds. Now we darken and carve out those brows. So I'm going in with the medium brown Benefit brown pencil and filling it all in. Carve out the lower line with concealer and brow gell the hairs in place. I like to draw on a few baby hairs at the inner edges as well.
"Once that is done, go into your pallets, I'm going to be using Karity Cosmetics n***s and Rudes. The first thing that we want to do is really deepen that crease and make a kind of cat-lik eye. So take a fluffy brush and go back into that crease color and just darken it and pull it from corner to corner. Flick it out in a small wing just to map things out. You are also going to want to go onto the brow bone a bit to make the eye appear wider. Once that is done, apply more of that same color into just the crease to deepen the color. Remember it's layers. Speaking of, we're going to apply an even darker shade of skintone -- whatever that means for you, to the crease as well. Keep a few clean brushes around to keep bending so that the look is seamless. We are going to apply a final layer of a third and even deeper skin tone to the crease as well. Now do the same layers to the lower lashline, going to the center.
"And now the cut crease."
"Yass b***h," came a cry from the crowd to which Mahogany smiled brightly and pointed.
"Someone has been watching. Right, so with a flat rounded brush, apply the concealer to the lid. A good tip is to apply it to the lash line and then open your eye." The model did so and then closed them again. "Now you have a kind of line to follow where your lid arcs. Cover it with concealer and set that with matching powder. Now we're going to saturate out brush with some MAC Fix Plus. You can also use your setting spray, but don't use water or saliva. Water won't keep the shimmer and saliva can cause infection. Go into a shimmer of your choice and fill in the cut crease. Apply some stronger high light to the inner corner and then finish it with a black cat-eye liner, giving yourself a strong and powerful wing, and redefining the inner corners to point down very sharply. Lashes, I am using Huda Beauty lashes today. Black mascara and that's it.
"Now we can deepen the bronzer with contouring, apply a darker blush, and then blind them with high light. I'm going to apply that high light everywhere I applied concealer, so the cheekbones, the nose, and then also the cupids bow, the chin, and since this is date night, the collarbone. Just to kind of get his eyes wandering, right ladies?"
A wave of catcalls and cheers of affirmation.
"Finish it with a strong lip, I'm going in with MAC retro matte liquid lipstick in Ruby Woo. Of course over some chapstick because even the best liquid lips are drying.
"And that's the finished look. As you can see, once you get home it's just adding to the existing look a few things. We did the most work to the eyes because We wanted to get then cat-like and elongated. Any questions?"

Isaac Argent in Room One
"I'm fine," he said quickly, automatically with a hand raised to caution her away, to show that he was fine. Isaac didn't like troubling people and he would have happily slipped into the crowds of people that were flitting between rooms or leaving the area completely.
He wanted to check on Jade, but he also wanted to take his leave because his brotherly duties were done and he had a composition he ached to get back to.
Instead, he stood in front of a near stranger, blinking slowly at her. He recognized her from TV, from the times he flicked through channels aimlessly and saw flashes of MMA fights, from the posters in company's sky scraper that advertised her events, and he's sure he's seen her in pictures with his sister before.
But that's not a very good indicator of anything, really, because any sort of fame has a way of warping people.
Besides, Jade knew a lot of people, a picture didn't mean much.
"I'm afraid we've never met," Isaac answered, truthfully. He had never met her. Any similarities she saw were likely because Jade had the unforgettable face.
