Punk would turn it into a headlock and tried to grip Gennison aggressively but was suddenly pushed to the ropes. He ran to them and bounced off of them and quickly came back to Gennison.

As CM Punk came off the ropes, Matt would look to knock him to the canvas with a shoulder block!

Punk was knocked down from the shoulder block as Punk was on the floor holding his shoulder.

Matt would then look down at CM Punk and hold his arms up in a "X" symbol, mocking CM Punk's taunt, returning the favor, smiling at him.

CM Punk was gonna take the bullshit, as Punk quickly got back up and attempted to quickly go for a knife edge chop to Gennison!

The chop would echo throughout the arena, as it would light Matt's chest up! but in retaliation, Matt would send a chop right back of his own to Punk's chest!

Punk would get chopped as Punk slowly backed up, but quickly tried to fight back and go for a hard kick to Gennison's side stomach!

The kick to the side of Matt's stomach would connect! The two would now be in a exchange of strong style strikes, as Matt would look to retaliate back with a straight up slap to the face!

Punk would get the slap out of no where as Punk quickly retreated to a corner holding his face.

Knowing what was on the line, Matt couldn't Punk breathe at all. He would follow him into the corner, as Matt would look to Irish-whip him into a far corner, opposite of this one!

Punk would get irish whipped to the corner as Punk ran to the corner and quickly turned to land his back towards the turnbuckles.

Now that Punk has hit the turnbuckle, Matt would run towards CM Punk in attempts for a corner clothesline!

As CM Punk was stunned from the corner clothesline, Matt would look to then run to the far ropes, and rebound off with another clothesline to take him down completely!

CM Punk would slowly walk out of the corner, but as it was still a bit early in the match Punk quickly tried to stop Gennison's momentum by going for a calf kick!
