The plushie for Rhian was a large, pink bunny, soft for it's type and surely cuddly, and as far as Jessie knew, the perfect way to cheer up her youngest sister.
Something had been eating at Rhian lately that made Jessie go on edge, and the woman didn't fare well on edge, instead moving out to the comforts of seeking ways to help, but with a gift in arm, she knerw another person who might like a stuffy.
Probably.
Owen was a good kid, and one Jessie was eagerly waiting to hire on to her team for destruction. After all, once he could work for her legally, she could teach him all about the truck... And maybe learn all about the war a bit better from the chibi. A soft puppy might be nice until then -- and at worst he gave it to his mom. That was something, and so the woman put down another dollar, reaching for a duck patiently. She HAD planned to blow a few dollars, after all.

Was it really a good idea to be throwing dolla dolla bills everywhere? Probably not. But Brendan was going to do what Brendan wanted to, thank you kindly. And it was all in good fun! Minus the fact that he seemed to be having horrid luck so far.
Sighing, he passed the money over and plucked up a duck at random. Nnnnope.

Um, so, this duck? It actually had a prize mark on it! Kayla gave a verbal keysmash in surprise, something along the lines of "sdfjksjkl?" and then she gave Luca some stink eye when she laughed. Sighing, Kayla thrust a plushie at Luca. "Remember, I'm exchanging these for every West Nile plushie you've got." GiantMicrobes, so much fun!

Kaileen decided that she didn't really like the duck game. She won at the hit em down game three times already. She had a bag with small stuff animals to prove it. She just wanted to win one of the big ones.
She looked over at her brother and pouted.
"This game sucks. I can't win in it.."
She was going to try again.

Well, that duck hadn't been as lucky, but Jessie wasn't really bothered. After all, she was having fun, and idly, she handed over another dollar and reached for another duck, humming contently to herself.
It was still fun, and hey! Free sugar!

Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Evren stared at the ducks in the pool. Carefully watching until, "Hmp!" She quickly bent down and reached out pulling up a duck. As she turned it over... there was nothing. Ah well, maybe next time. Evren turned over another duck... once again it was not the duck she was looking for... this truly was a test of luck. Would Evren ever be able to pull one of the elusive ducks? For her next attempt at trying to find the duck she quickly reached in and fished around and pulled out a duck that she managed to get her hands on. She held her breath as she pulled up another duck. This time it had the smiley symbol that she was looking for. With a smile, she handed it over to the clerk at the duck station and was handed the brown dog stuffed animal. Smiling she hugged it and put it into her bag. The next time that Evren circled around to play the duck game she bent down and picked another duck. Of course, this duck that she selected was not another winner so she placed it down and went back to taking a short break from playing carnival games.

It was really too bad that his luck had been blown on the goldfish toss of all things. Brendan grabbed another duck at random and went away empty-handed. Maybe he had to concentrate and reach out with a sixth sense for that sort of thing. Did being a knight give him that sort of intuition? That would've been cool.

She sighed and picked up another duckie. All she got was a number. She wanted to start picking up as many as she could. Pick up all of them just to see for herself that the game wasn't rigged.
She took a step back and watched from the sidelines. She wanted to observe and see if anybody wins at the game. That was the only way she could tell if it was rigged.
She turned toward her brother.
"You don't have to stay with me. Why dont you go on some rides? I will meet up with you later? Nothing's going to happen to me."
She didn't see why her brothers insist on following her and watching her. Let her live her life!! Give her some space. They too busy following her and baby sit her. Yhey have messed out on stiff with their own lives. Do they even have friends?
She turned her attention back to the game and watched as the girl that was behind her won. It probably was her. Or maybe out of the ducks in the pond only a few were winning ducks.
She watched the owner of the game to see what he would do with the duck. He didnt put the ducks back into the pond. Well of course people might be watching closely and would see where he putted them down especially the winning owns
"Ok I am ready to try again"

Third time's the charm, Farrah thought as she flipped over the duck and saw the smiley face. Finally.
She knew the games were rigged in favor of the carnival. So they could maximise the amount of money the raked in from people who became more and more determined to win one of the prizes on offer after repeated failures and the puppy-dog eyes from children or significant others, or simply out of the need to prove they wouldn't be beaten by a stupid game... But after seeing Sinead win at not just one booth but at a few, she wanted that same feeling.
She wanted to win a prize, not for herself, but as a gift for her sister - perhaps as a bribe, but more as gift - just to show she did care, and she wanted to try an make up for all the time they had lost.
But which would Sinead like best? Probably not the dog stuffy, as she had shown a marked preference for cats, and she already won the panda. The bunny was too cutesy, even she couldn't go for that one... well, by process of elimination, that left the regular teddy bear as the only choice they had left.
So brown teddy bear it was. She only hoped that Sinead would accept it...

Again, gold evaded the cat-loving monster truck driver's grasp and she paid out again, humming.
"Duck, duck, duck, duck... Golden goose?"
Hey, wortyh a try for her favorite future pit crew, right?
