Four solid misses was just an insult.
Yolanda huffed, eyes narrowing as she slowly withdrew another dollar and put it down on the table, eyes narrowing.
She'd faced fighting, a simple stupid kmock-em-0down wasn't going to beat her, and this time, she lifted balls and threw them far more carefuilly. She wasn't gonna miss, not again. Even ONE can was victory.
The first ball was.. Fortunate. It connected, however the cans remained, and Yolie sighed, motioning for them to set back up before throwing the next. Only one fell -- another grumble, another wait, before the ball was sent flying from her hands and a very loud crashj came from the offending cans, the blonde huffing as her eyes narrowed coyly.
They spilled down, a final ball in hand of the destroyer of cans, and Yolie felt her lips quirk into a dark smirk. She was normally not terribly vicious, but currently -- well, currently the woman felt incredibly pleased, and even messing up a final ball did not deter.
Victory was had.
Maybe she'd rub it in, now...
At least rub it in for the cans.

She tried the game for the fourth time. It was only $1 so why not? Plus it was coming out of her brothers wallet. She saw her other brother but he was alone. Maybe she should have hanged out with him instead. He didn't have some whiny girl clinging to him. She didn't understand her brother at all sometimes. Well she didn't understand boys that much. She looked over at the girl. What was her name? Becca? Stacy? Something like that. Gosh her brother knew how to pick them. Kaileen did feel sorry for the girl. After tonight, after he fed his hormones he would let her go. He would not answer his phone and eventually change his number. He unduly only keep the girls for at least a week. Then he drops them and find a new one. God what a pig. Hopefully Kaileen wouldn't end up with a guy like that.
She shooked her head and smiled. She was going to keep playing the games but she won an stuff animal. Hopefully she can get all four of them. They were huge tho. Maybe she should stay with her brother and his girlfriend. She would need extra hands to carry all her prizes

It seemed like the game was rigged... or her luck at winning the one time was just a fluke. That was probably the more likely of the two scenarios.

Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Stump_Fairy Evren had her face puffed to look like she was constipated as she let one ball fly she wasn't able to knock much down. On her second try, she managed to knock down all the stacked cans. With a smile, she looked overly proud of herself. Holding onto the panda that she was given she her proud smile got even larger as she held onto the stuffed animal. Evren decided to go for another throw... and proceeded to miss every single time she threw spectacularly. "Ehe..." Well, that was certainly a waste. With another four balls, she managed to barely hit anything. In fact, she managed to hit someone on the back of the head. So she slowly backed away to take a break from throwing balls for a short while. When Evren returned to throw another four balls, she managed to, unfortunately, knock all of the targets down except for one. Evren's lips puckered and slinked down and away from the game again to rethink how she managed to knock down the pins the first time. Maybe she needed to throw a little harder?

The deed was done. Revenge. Still, Yolie wasn't letting the cans think they weon. Not by any means. She had sisters... Sisters who might like prizes, too. And that was worth another dollar at minimum, the girl grinning as she moved, preparing to toss again.
The crash of cans plumetting to the ground was a satisfying sound, and Yolie smirked as she made two more throws -- both didn't win, but the last... Well.
Who was she to argue if she goit both sisters stuffied? And the best part was, she was feeling rather pleased... And had cousins to spoil rotten in stuffies.
A good day, really, was being had, and she hummed a ditty about knocking bodies down as she prepared to place her prizes down.

Now it seemed like the cans hated Owen just as much as the goldfish had. Ugh. Not a single try a win this time, and he was beginning to give up on the hope of getting something nice for his mother or himself. Stupid cans, stupid ducks - maybe it was time he took a break for a while and did something else, or just... stopped pouring his money away on tickets for things when it wasn't paying off any more. But - well, he had gotten prizes for Daniel and Bailey! That was still something good, wasn't it? That made this worth doing, at least at first.
Maybe it was time to step back from all these festival games, but he'd gotten nice little presents for two people who really mattered, so it... it wasn't like he'd failed. (Not completely, anyway). He'd done okay, more or less. Maybe more than less? Ugh, now he was starting to think himself in circles.

It wasn't that he didn't want to be here, he sort of did, but he was here babysitting a small group of the younger orphans he lived with. As one of the older children he was tasked with babysitting duties...that also meant using what little money he had in order to try and win some plushies for them.
That in mind he decided knocking over the stack of cans might be easy. So he paid quickly, before he changed his mind and upset the kids, and taking the balls he threw them at the cans.

Aww yea. She good. She managed to knock down all the damn cans. Again. Whoo. Sinead did a small victory dance. She did it. Now she could get that stuffy for Farrah and keep the one she had already won.
She went to the clerk to claim her prize. She saw him raise a brow as she pointed to the panda. But he didn't say a word as he handed it over, and she struggled to juggle the panda she had won previously and the fish. God it would be great if she had another hand or even set of hands. It would make everything so much easier....
Finally she just caved and asked Farrah to carry it. It belonged to her after all. She was somewhat surprised when Farrah grabbed the panda, and gave her a big hug at the same time. It just wasn't like her. She always seemed to be trying to hold her at arms length, eve as she tried so hard to get to know her...
And that's when it hit her. It wasn't Farrah who was holding back out of some aloofness. She was afraid of rejection and hurt, just like her. So from now on, she would try harder. She would go on these inane trips with an open mind.
Ok. So maybe, just maybe - noise and smells and crowds aside - these carnival/fair whatever you wanted to call it things, weren't so bad. Not that she would be telling Farrah or Karin any time soon, because who knew what other outlandish sort of thing they might try to take her to, but she would make a greater effort...
Just not all at once.

Mmm, satisfying. Her sisters now had presents to enjoy, and Yolie wasn't even done, the girl buying another round as she tossed a ball in hand coyly. Maybe now she'd buy her cousin a plushiue -- probably he'd gift it to his girl, but, well, there was no shame in that was there?
Plus there was her other-cousin, the one she'd yet to meet. Maybe she'd like one? Or Uncl. He always seemed so kind, and the girl let a ball fly.

So none of the tins had fallen...lovely. Reminding the kids, rather gently, that they were on limited funds he asked if they wanted him to try again. With nods from their little heads, and large hopeful eyes, Liam stood up and paid again and took his turn with throwing balls at the tin cans again. He really didn't think this was going to end well.
