EunKyung had heard about the fair, there were posters about all over the city and campus grounds, and while she did remember the fall event with the bats she didn't think this would be the same....at least she hoped not. The day was hot, in a sort of oppressive way, but that really wasn't going to deter her from trying to have some fun.

While walking about, a cold drink and food in her hands, she found herself staring at a game booth with cute plushies as prizes! She knew these games were rigged so they were hard, if not near impossible, to win...and yet she found herself finishing her food and handing over money so she could make an attempt at popping some balloons. Those plushies were just so cute! Maybe, if she was lucky, she'd win two plushies and could send one to her younger cousin back in South Korea - they'd love it.

More and more tosses, but no results! Now it was just getting a little annoying. Surely she could hit one whole balloon? Maybe?

Maxine wanted to pop more balloons. Alas, she failed this round and gave that one balloon in the middle a death stare.

Sinead eyed the booth dubiously. Who the hell thought that popping balloons (making loud obnoxious noises) and sharp pointy objects (people could get hurt, did she mention the darts were Sharp?) and kids were a good idea? She snorted and attempted to walk quickly by, but apparently her momentary stop to marvel over the idiocy of such a game, was taken as she was interested in trying it.

This was a terrible idea, and it wasn't going to end well, but Farrah had already handed the game clerk a ticket and was back with her three darts. Oh well. She crossed her fingers. Not that she won, but that she didn't end up killing someone.

Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. The darts, tossed one after the other in quick succession, to get this over with quickly so she could move on, missed the balloons by a lot -no surprise there. But she hadn't hit any one, which knowing her luck, was actually kinda surprising.

Either way, it was over, there were no casualties, and she probably never had to do that again. So it was kinda a win-win all-around.

The fact Daniel hadn't popped any balloons was achallenge.

Daniel put another dollar on the table, the teen slightly worried about wasting Thomas' money as he took his darts again. His brother t5old him to feel free to enjoy, but... Daniel was still worried. He knew that it was hard to earn money, and Daniel wanted to ensure they both still ate. Still, Daniel took a dart, and flicked the trio once more, one at a time.

You know what? Those plushies were cute. And he hadn't been in a carnival mood for, well, two years on. Brendan slapped down a dollar and decided to give it a go. He got close exactly one time, while the others went flying. Damn it, was his coordination still s**t, or was this game rigged?

YEAH! Bam pow! Third time was a charm for Maxine- third throw popped a balloon, and she cheered ecstatically. When she was handed another plushie, she made shush gestures before stuffing it into her bag. She had a reputation, dangit!

With no balloon popped the dark eyed female paid, rather shamefully and quickly, for more darts in order to try for a plushie again. She knew she wasn't going to win, she was sure of it, but she had to try - right? Nodding her head, firmly, to silently agree with her thoughts.

The new darts in hand EunKyung took aim, at least she tried to, and lightly threw the darts as she hoped they didn't bounce and rather popped a balloon. Mentally she had her fingers crossed.

Lazily throwing the darts, George wasn't surprised he missed. Ah well, there was always later, after corndogs.

It was Farrah's turn to throw the darts, and she fared about as well as her sister. No Balloons popped for either.

Kaileen slapped down another dollar. She was going to try again. She squinted and pointed one of the darts at a balloon and three it. When it didn't even pop a balloon she stumped her foot and pouted.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She opened her eyes and took a dart and threw it

She looked at the last dart on her hands. She wished her father had came out with them he was so much better at this game. But he was feeling a title under the weather. So he stayed home. He would even let Kaileen stay and take care of him.

She was going to try and win all the prizes she could so she could bring them all home to him.

Sticking out her tongue Evren took aim at the balloon letting one of the darts fly she managed to pop the first balloon. Picking up the second one she threw it and it missed the balloon that she was aiming at. Her third try, however, she hit another balloon. "Aw man... I was so close." The giant stuffed animals would just have to be a fleeting dream. She was handed one of the smaller stuffed animals she laughed well at least this little one was cute. Ah, she had an idea for another outfit. Maybe she would work on it when she got home.

With a flick of her wrist for her first shot, she only nicked a ballon so it didn't pop, on the second flick she missed completely. But on her third flick, she managed to pop another balloon. Giving a huff that this she did worse this time around she accepted the prize that was given to her. Next time... maybe next timmmee.

While she managed to pop balloons the last two times... this time she failed spectacularly. Two of them managed to bounce off the balloon instead of popping them and the other hit a place that was already a popped balloon. "So much for my luck." She sighed. Maybe she should take a break from this game for awhile.

After taking the short break Evren came back to the balloon pop game for another three attempts at popping some balloons. Unfortunately, her throws were all off. Letting out a puff of breath she decided to mull over in her head on how to get back her luck from her earlier throws.

In her increasing stress over fish, Di wanted to toss more darts. If they at least hit the board, that was its own stress-relief, right? She flung them one after the other, though careful that they wouldn't hit any people or toys.

They didn't hit any balloons, and it was only at that moment that she realized that maybe winning a stuffed animal would make her feel better too...

Daniel huffed, buying another dart before the child squared his shoulders to try again. Surely he'd do good now, right? Right?!....

Maybe....

The first dart missed by a hair, but the second startled him front thought wityh a loud pop, and the young boy was shaking too hard to aim his third well. He won! It wasn't all three but he won a prize, something to show Thomas he did a good at a game all by himself and would he be proud? He hoped so, Daniel wanted to do very good, and the boy almost danced, pointing to a stuffed black dragon.

"Him please!" The boy cheered. "Thqat one, that one!"
