Frankly, he's who I'd have chosen for the role. He's got that air of detatchment to a tee.
Watch House of Cards sometime. smile

Xagarath Ankor I'll have to look out for a copy. Barely heard of it... There's a trilogy: House of Cards, To Play the King and The Final Cut (it's available as a box set). He plays the same character in each.

Ladies and jellyspoons, Spiderman 3 has achieved teaser trailer: http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/spiderman3/site/Spoilers:Y'know, ifthat blonde's who she looks like... *grins*
We both know that how the whole thing ends was probably foreshadowed with Peter's whole "MJ's future wedding" conversation in the second film, but it's interesting nonetheless. smile End

Looks like we might have only symbiote rather than venom, too.

Heh, so I wasn't the only one uttering a "Hmm....." at that trailer. ;p
Speaking of the trailer, I saw it right before *fanfare* Superman Returns. And on that note, the movie's awesome...I was never big on the man of steel before (superpower hogger razz ), but I can definitely say I'm looking forward to any future adventures.
Plus I'm sure it makes up for the third and fourth Superman movies (which I have not actually seen, but the clips I have....what in ze frik?).

I have to say I was vaguely disappointed with it. It seemed to lurch from unrelentingly dark to random slapstick. There were loads of LOL moments, but it just didn't quite hang together right for me. Shame, really, since I've been looking forward to it for months. DW

I saw it last night too, I LOVED it. I had my critical mind on full power and ripped it several slashes in every which direction, but at the end of the day I left the cinema very excited and happy.
I'll go into more detail in spoiler environments *Nod*
Oh and Superman on Friday at the IMAX! Huzzah.
...and I'm being dragged to watch Japanese schoolkids play Lost/Running Man on Monday >>;

Like Craig, I also enjoyed it. The slapstick was a little irritating, but the dark and dreadful plot was far better than the first film, and the ending greatly cheered me.

Hard Candy. Interesting, ambiguous and a bit different, if not for the squeamish. Just saw it, and was moderately impressed.

I'll probably be dropping by Superman in the next few days... unless I run across a cheap DVD of The Falls, which may have suddenly become a higher priority.
