Upon their arrival, Lady and Trish started to fight against Urizen with their guns, but they noticed the crystal was acting like a barrier. They were shock, "What?" Lady was first to spoken out.

Lady and Trish were pushed away from the shock wave, it's more they realized, Urizen was stronger demon they ever face, except for Trish that Mundus was powerful demon king. "He's a powerful than Mundus," said Trish. Lady didn't bother ask, so she and Trish were about to attack Urizen, but Urizen fired the beam from the strange seal to them. Thankfully they were evade, but they were sent flying to crash against the ground.

Lady and Trish were struggling when they got up, however Dante manage to save them. Lady groaned, at the same time Dante said "Jackpot," they both hear Urizen said his name, in much of their confusion, yet in pain. "How... How does he know Dante?" Trish thought to herself about Urizen.

After DMC van got out the portal, Nero got out the passenger seat and jumped out of the van, despite of Nico's protest. Nero ran towards Qliphoth, just as Griffon swoops in front of young devil hunter and made him stop. V was reading a book, "Hey V, where the h*ll is Dante?" Nero asked him, "If you are looking for Dante, he's already at the throne room facing the demon king," said Griffon before V closed the book. He looked at the Qliphoth, "I can lead you there, Dante might in trouble," he said very calm as he glanced over Nero. Nero was beyond p*ssed that Dante got there first, "Then, he better thank me for saving his a**," he grumbled before he and V entered the academy.
After all of killing the demons, while V went ahead by using his Shadow to speed up. While V and Griffon hold off the lesser demons, Nero finally made it to the throne, then he pulled his Blue Rose and fired at the roots to save Dante. Nero puts his Blue Rose back in the hollister, "Well... Looks like this three devil hunters got defeated by him after all, while I was searching for someone" he said to himself to look at Lady, Trish, and Dante, before he face Urizen as he stepping up, "Hey, jacka**!" he called him out of insult. He slowly smirked, "Didn't your mother ever teach you it's not nice to steal?" he asked him to mouth him out while showing off his Devil Bringer to remind him that he stole his Devil Bringer and Yamato.

Nero smirked and scoffed at the same time from the silent, "Sorry Dante..." he said to out cold Dante and draw his Red Queen to stab the tip against the demonic floor, "I'm baggin this b*tch!" he added about dealing with the demon who ripped his Devil Bringer off. He revved his sword to make the motorcycle sound to bring up the flame. Nero charge towards to Urizen and try to attack the demon king.

Nero saw that coming as he dodged the small particle, he switched his Red Queen to Blue Rose to fire two bullets at the demon king.
Meanwhile, V took care of demons and Griffon was flapping close to his partner, "Haha! I would like to see them eat s**t!" he taunt the fallen demons. V scoffed and looked at the battle took place, he can hear Nero's gun begin to fire.

Nero scoffed that red crystal was acting like a barrier, he starts to figure if he destroy the crystal, he can attack demon king. He continue to attack the crystal with his Red Queen and Blue Rose, until he noticed four blue circles around him. "That kind of cheap a** circle will do," he taunt Urizen, before he saw the blue circle glow brighter. By the time those blue circle shoot towards him, Nero quickly reload his Blue Rose, he takes air hike and fired his revolver gun couple times against the crystal while in the air.

Just as the root were getting close to Dante, Griffon flew right in and shoot his lightning bolts at the roots, "How do you like that s**thead!?" he shouts and Shadow appeared to crowel around with a growl. V only standing at the entrance, reading a book and leaning his cane, "Walk'd by the castle gate, and looked in.
A hollow groan ran thro' the dreary vaults," he quoted the William Blake's poem before he closed the book. Trish groaned and slowly regain her consciousness.
Nero landed and evade the roots, while attacking the crystal.
