Location / Location Specific Beastiary Suggestions:

Yorknew
Location Idea: Ironcrest Penitentiary
Just outside the main city is Ironcrest Penitentiary, a maximum security prison that houses some of the most heinous criminals throughout the country. Security is tight, with several security checkpoints that need to be passed before one can even enter the reception area of the prison. Protected by three separate 40 foot iron walls surrounding the outer perimeter, the prison is designed in such a way that there is only one direct path for entering and exiting. Each of the walls has its own separate security checkpoint before one can enter the main prison facility. Each cell is equipped with state of the art suppression technology, and the facility is nigh inescapable without extensive planning and coordination from outside sources.

Location Idea: Central Yorknew Bank
The biggest, most popular bank in Yorknew. The Central Bank is also a popular choice for Hunters, as it is known to have the tightest security measures for ensuring the safety of one’s personal information and personal funds. The building itself is a marvel of architectural design, built almost entirely of beautifully polished marble with a classical Roman inspired exterior design with authentic Corinthian pillars. The interior is vastly spacious and has multiple floors to suit your every need. Hunters have their own floor on the bank, which can only be accessed by showing the attendant your Hunter ID.

Location Idea: Arthur Square Shopping District
Spanning an area of ten city blocks and across five different streets, Arthur Square is one of the largest shopping districts in the city. Featuring a variety of shops ranging from small luxury boutiques to sizeable chains, one can find almost anything that any normal person would need – clothing, furniture, food, etc. At night, after the stores themselves are closed, night market vendors tend to set up shop in the area, making the Arthur Square Shopping District an almost 24/7 area for people to buy and sell goods.

Location Idea: La Rhonde
If fine dining is what you’re looking for in the city, then look no further. La Rhonde is a world famous restaurant owned and operated by the Hunter Association. Every week, the restaurant cycles between chefs/kitchen staff, and will feature cooking from world class Gourmet Hunters. The only requirement to be featured at La Rhonde is to be at least a one star Gourmet Hunter. All meals at La Rhonde are omakase style based on the chef’s inspiration, and each meal is paired with a different alcoholic beverage. A meal at La Rhonde typically starts at J500,000 at minimum depending on the Chef’s fees and the cost of ingredients, but historically it is not uncommon to see prices as high as J2,000,000. Reservations must be made months to years in advance, depending on the featured chef.

Location Idea: Mary’s Diner
A quintessential part of Yorknew City. Mary’s Diner has been there since god-knows-when, the food isn’t terrible but it isn’t fantastic either, and the coffee always seems to taste kind of burnt, but something about that diner atmosphere and the kind waitstaff makes everything taste that much better.

Location Idea: Seven Lions District
The black sheep of Yorknew, with a rich history that is overshadowed by its current state. Seven Lions District is a sizeable area of Yorknew that people try their best to forget about. Nothing good ever happens there – the streets are overrun with delinquents, and crime runs rampant through this part of the city, to the point where the police have little to no control over the situation and have resorted to allowing its inhabitants to essentially operate above the law, so long as nothing spills out into the surrounding neighborhoods. Most people who are living here aren’t doing so by choice, but they don’t have the means to relocate due to how inexpensive housing is. Many apartments and homes are essentially rundown and overrun by squatters and the homeless.

Location Idea: Yorknew University
Located right in the heart of Yorknew is one of the country’s most prestigious institutions. The campus spans seven city blocks, with each block having its own building dedicated to one of the many departments. Offering both undergraduate and graduate level degrees, the university has a 5% admission rate, and has graduated many famous people from actors, to laywers and doctors, to even two- and three-starred Hunters.


Rokario

Location Idea: Soldago Headquarters
Built at the base of the Soldago mountain, this is one of the few Hunter HQs that exist in Rokario. On the outside, it looks like a simple welcome center for unsuspecting hikers wishing to travel up the mountain, but upon presenting one’s Hunter ID, access will be granted to the interior facilities that are built on the inside of the mountain – one of the most heavily fortified facilities that the Hunter Association owns. Many Hunters operating out of Rokario will touch base here. Those who can afford treatment and are suffering from chronic or acute life-threatening illnesses will often go here for the best quality of treatment the country can afford. Built and designed to mirror the city plan of a small village, the facility is comprised of many different buildings - each with a medical sub-specialty, and includes two separate residential districts: one for all the staff, and one that serves as an outpatient clinic that is fully staffed 24/7. Celebrities who seek treatment but in a more peaceful environment tend to choose the Jupoli Rehabilitative Facility rather than world-famous hospitals like St. Agnes.

Location Idea: Zho Work Camp
Known as one of the harshest prisons in the world, the Zho Work Camp is home to many criminals of the Rokario District. Located in literally the middle of nowhere somewhere in the snow-capped mountains, the harsh terrain of its surroundings make escaping almost impossible due solely to the fact that once you’re out, there’s really nowhere to go. Security is therefore relatively lax. Most of the prison’s attention is turned instead to the slave drivers who monitor the prisoners’ work. Prisoners are forced to work 18 hour days, are fed the bare minimum to let them keep working, and are allowed only 20 minutes of total break time every day. The work camp produces most of the country’s goods.

It is a humongous beast standing at over 85 meters in length and is easily around the size of a tall building, making humans look like ants in comparison to its great size. It has a white leathery hide and scales, and the entirety of its back is covered in blue vein-like markings that go from the top of its head to the tip of its tail. They mostly inhabit environments with extremely cold temperatures. It is a territorial beast that is very protective to its land and will attack anyone that comes across it.

    For bestiary entries, any techniques they have need to follow the technique creation formulas in place. They have specific costs that relate to how much they cost. For example, you can have a move cost 20 stamina, but that translates to 4SP if it were purchasable. So it can deal damage scaling at 4% of a stat or enhance a stat scaling at 8% of a stat. Techniques from this point onward need to be more fleshed out.

Throughout the fight, the King is constantly regenerating. It’s old cells are being pushed out, creating a thin veil of skin that can act as somewhat durable, protective armor. After 5 posts, the King’s body is fully regenerated and the armor will completely coat its body, which can be shed at command or destroyed via direct attacks. Upon shedding, the King regains full health minus 20% of the maximum (ie. If it started with 100 health, then it would have 80/80, then 60/60, then 40/40, and so on).

Name: Tundra Dragon
It is a humongous beast standing at over 85 meters in length and is easily around the size of a tall building, making humans look like ants in comparison to its great size. It has a white leathery hide and scales, and the entirety of its back is covered in blue vein-like markings that go from the top of its head to the tip of its tail. They mostly inhabit environments with extremely cold temperatures. It is a territorial beast that is very protective to its land and will attack anyone that comes across it.
