It all turned to Ren and boy was Indie not disappointed. The blondie let his fury fly in the most composed and uptight way that made her reminisce of the conversations she would overhear. Her father calmly scolding and cutting down those who have upset him. Indie's lips curled into a smirk that she fought back as much as she could. She felt only a little pity for the pair of them as he seethed his words at them before exiting. Just as the violet haired girl would open her mouth to try and move the conversation in a less awkward direction, Ren popped his head in to grab his plate of unfinished waffles. "Okay..um..". Quiet mumbles of confusion erupted from Indie as she watched him leave and return two more times to retrieve his bits and pieces. Once she was sure that he had finally began to make his real exit, she faced towards the remaining two members of the unconventional group that she had come upon. Ulysses had answered her question during Ren's long running escape, and Indie found it mildly intriguing and impressive, regardless of how her other silver spoon counterpart felt about it. She was easily the more grounded out of the two.

Feeling the group had maybe settled, she was very much wrong. Jentel had gone rouge and shot out chains from his hands? At least that is what Indie assumed, regardless it was startling. Jentel was using this as a scare tactic to get Ren to apologize. Indie had very little hope and feeling that it would actually work. She does not know him very well yet, but he already doesn't seem the humble and sorry type if he feels he wasn't wrong. "Jentel, that was far from necessary. Ulysses is a strong girl. If she feels upset or threatened, I'm sure she can voice her own issues." Indie was starting to have her own aversions towards the man's actions and persona. While she get's and comprehends the fact that everyone is different in their own and special way, it surely does not mean she has to silence her own feelings. "The situation is just being agitated. Honestly, I am too. This is becoming ridiculous." Indie's ocean eyes started to darken and her patience was running thin.

If Jentel could see her face he would crawl under the table and hide. "I don’t NEED you to do anything. If I wanted to I could blast a whole through his chest or send you to the roof with a single move. I don’t NEED some guy thinking he needs to defend my honor. I can put my own damn pants on and don’t need someone to hold my hand!" The last part was probably harsh, but she was a survivor and a engineer. She knew what she could do. Looking back to Ren she pointed at him. "And don’t think you’re off so easy either! Egging him on for a fight, I should kick your a** for trying to cause trouble when we don’t need anymore." She looked between the two boys. "So stick you idiot dicks back in your pants. We have classmates out there, right now, fighting and trying to get revenge for the school being attacked. You want to fight save it for the God damn enemy."

"Combat?..Me...Fight..No..That...Wasn't." Jentel held himself turning the same pale shade of green as before uncertain how to proceed with the suddenly imposed challenge. He hadn't expected something like this, to have been put under duress in such a manner. Why hadn't he expected something like this. The answer would come sooner rather than later but first he would have to deal with the scolding from Ulysses. He only grew smaller the more and more he was being reprimanded. Even with Indie's reserved and serious nature her words felt like needles that were being driven into an already dying body. What could he do, clearly what a normal person would do was learn from the experience, accept the humiliation, and form the appropriate apologies. However, Jentel was not a normal person. Eyes locked shut, in a moment of emotional distress, like before as he held himself glowing lights began to emerge from his head floating in a straight line. Then in one swift motion as if instinctual with a swing of his arm all of the lights would be struck as the all flew across the room and would burst upon impacting the wall.

Then suddenly, there he was standing, cool and composed once more. As if nothing had happened. In fact, nothing did happen as far as he knew, his introduction to Ulysses, and Indie, Reinier's previous behaviors and the challenge. The scolding from the two girls. Jentel was now for all intents and purposes just in the cafeteria. Seeing the group now with their tensions high, he'd say in a simple and reserved voice. "Ah you all must be in the middle of something I interrupted pay me no mind." Jentel would then begin to walk away as if nothing happened. In a sense it was the same as running away from ones responsibilities. But if he had no memories of these responsibilities were they even responsibilities to begin with.

He'd then proceed to the cafeterias main line. He procured some tea then sat down opposite of Daenerys. He'd then proceed to remove his scroll to check the time. Then dipped the tea bag into the cup letting it steep. As if nothing ever happened. Was that really a good thing though? The others would definitely have to ask themselves if it was worth it. To try and make sense of who Jentel is. He'd definitely take more than just the average person to understand.

                                                        5.

Ren was quiet for a few moments as he watched Jentel.
"Weird, anticlimactic, and absolutely not my problem..."

Ren took a moment before turning back to face Ulysses.

"you should calm down before you have a meltdown... I of all people am already well aware of the situation going on Here at the academy, in Vale, and the rest of the world. Now, understand this..."

Ren's eyes lock on Ulysses and he was silent for a couple of seconds before he spoke.
"I am not, nor have I ever been a soldier, not here, nor in Atlas, and up until earlier today, i wasn't even really a student here. so before you go barking like a dog at me about saving it for the enemy, I'd rather not and would instead prefer to focus it on fighting those whom I am less likely to be killed by so I can take it to whomever I'm paid to take it to later after i have trained to do so. if you think you are capable of going out there right now and fighting, then by all means, go die and be forgotten."

food was supposed to make him happy, but this whole situation just put him in a worse mood than he was this morning.

Without another word, Renier took his tray and finally left the cafeteria.

Daenerys watched as the blonde one turned around, rather slowly. She had expected him to be angry, a little agitated at the least, but rather his expression look utterly exhausted, bored even, with possiblyjust a hint of exasperation. He was quiet for a moment which gave the two girls a chance to speak up. Dani couldn't be completely sure what she had expected,
But their reactions were entirely different from ant vague thought that had been on her mind. The way she saw it, he had only been trying to defend him. Whether they approved of the way he had went about it or not, she believed that deserved a thank you. Not yelling and threats. Yelling and threats that even several tables away make the tiny, pink-haired girl jump in her seat. Dani was a gentle spirit. She didn't respond well to yelling. She never head, but ever since that night, shouting, especially when directed on her, had a tendency to make her shut down completely. She wouldn't admit to it, as it was a weakness in an environmentlike this. It was something she would have to work on if she had any chance of surviving here.

If she were braver, less timid, Dani might have said something to those girls. Not in a rude fashion of course, but at least mention that their agressionwas out of place and that they should maybe direct it at the person who had been insulting them, not defending them. She thought about it, even tried to stand up. However, the thought of approaching them, especially in a situation like this, made her freeze up entirely. Her slender frame rigid and her violet eyes left wide and staring at the group. After a moment she sighed, dropping her gaze, content to go back to her cold, untouched food. I'm useless. Dani had initially been determined to keep her head down and remain uninvolved, as well as stop staring. It wasn't polite, as her parents had taught her. However, as the blonde one spoke up again, her curiosity got the better of her. The girl couldn't help it. Slowly her violet gaze rose once more, darting back and forth between Renier and Jentel, the one he had just challenged to a duel.

Eyes locked on the two, she watched, a waiting Jentel's reaction. Once again, it was nothing like she could have imagined. Dani was starting to think she was really bad at these guessing games. He seemed flustered, stammering on his words and shrinking beneath their scorn, and then... his eyes just shut. Moments later glowing orbs began to appear from his head. He gave a swing of his arm and they all zoomed across the room. Violet turned slightly in her seat, watching them race across the cafeteria, jumping slightly as they shattered after hitting the wall. She stared at the spot they had disappeared for a moment before slowly turning around once more, her eyes landing back on Jentel. He seemed fine now. Other than he seemed to have forgotten the already knew those people, that he was not interrupting and had been conversing with them for some time now. Dani blinked once, rather confused by it all. However, as he slowly turned around, her breath caught in her throat. She watched as he approached her, unable to tear her gaze away despite the internal screaming of her brain.

He sat down right across from her after receiving some tea. He was acting as if nothing had happened, which was equally confusing as it was odd. Dani couldn't help but stare at him as he slowly dipped his tea bag into the cup. Once again, she was frozen in her seat, unable to move her find her voice to speak. If took several moments, and a large shaky breath before she could finally look away. Dropping g her chin so that it was nearly resting on her chest, she stared at her tray once more, slowly pushing the uneaten food around once more. "I um... I'm sorry for staring." She managed to stammer after a moment, however she still didn't seem quite ready for eye contact as she was keeping her gaze trained rather fiercely on her tray. Strands of pink hair slowly found their way over her should, falling into her face and concealing it slightly. "I'm Daenerys." She murmured after a moment, tucking the stray hairs gently behind her ear. "Dani... if you wish... I know that can be a mouthful." She spoke, shyly peeking up at him. She didn't look at him head on, but rather peered at him through her lashes.

They played amongst themselves as she walked in, hoping a bento box in her hands. Her ears twitched, folding this way and that as she looked around for somewhere to sit. Her eyes traveled over to a female with pink hair, and a feminine man. Taking a step forward, she yelped, her foot slipping from having stepped on a ice cube. Hizami ended up lunging and straining out her thigh muscle, but regained her composure and made it to the table. The female fauna seemed to be having trouble conversing with the other male. One was shy, the other was…weird and complex. Something about him was off, but nevertheless, Hizami pulled out a chair and popped down happily. It was at this point that two of her tails began to wiggle behind her happily, the tips poking out from behind her head. She placed her bento box down on the table, and enthusiastically lifted the lid. Taking out her wooden chopsticks from her sleeve, she was prepared to eat. Whatever happened earlier, she missed it, but her eyes caught onto a hole in the wall,

” Did someone have a fight in here or…?”

After a moment, she realized nothing was amiss, and looked down to see what she had made that day. Fried pork, some egg omelette, green beans wrapped in bacon, and her usual rice with seaweed. The noddles? She didn’t even know where she got those from. Probably leftovers. Hizami looked to Daenerys as she introduced herself, then at the man who stood silent, dipping his tea. She kept looking back and forth between them, hoping the male would speak, but after a few moments of silence…

                                                                  “ Hizami Yachiru!”

“ Hrm… So you’re a faunus? Give me the deets my girl.”

Hizami wanted details (deets), and if anything, she would have it. Suddenly, she checked the time in the middle of eating her food, and gasped. Her shift was starting in a few minutes, and she needed to get back to the cafeteria. Hizami stood up, and patted Dani's back as a gesture of goodbye, before leaving the cafeteria all together.

Alright. That's enough for today. Indie really had her mind blown and felt very uncomfortable at the end of this whole exchange. She was just there for a simple breakfast and light conversation with a fellow classmate. It turned into this huge ordeal with everyone becoming upset and the in Jentel's case, shockingly amnesiac to the escapades. All this was doing was giving the violet girl a raging headache. With silence, she would pack up her things and give a shoulder shrug to Ulysses and a halfhearted wave over to where Jentel was now sitting with two other girls, calm as ever. She may see them again, she may not. To be honest it wasn't weighting heavily on her mind anymore. Following out the Cafeteria doors behind Ren, but not actually following him in particular, she made her exit. She could only assume he was done with social interaction for today, she felt the same way. Once her mind settled and she could comprehend was had just happened around her, then she can visit them again and possible have a normal conversation. Although, that may be a far fetched idea. Did Indie feel a slight pang of guilt from just slipping out of the group? A little, but she also still has a small thread of self preservation and egotistical tendencies. The way the other's presented themselves and acted, she couldn't really get nor understand. She would rather come back when everyone boils down. She's eighty percent sure that Ulysses may explode with rage, she would not like to see that bomb go off.

What drew Jentels attention back into the present would be a wave goodbye from Indie. Although he didn't know who she was Jentel would have back to her kind assuming it was but a friendly gesture. For the most part Dani sounded so reserved he had semi-tuned her out having missed her statement of claiming she was staring as he hadn't noticed a single look from her busy caught up staring at his phone. Waiting, for something. What that something was a mystery as if one were to take a peek at his phone there would only be a contact image of a Maneki-neko o rather a mixture of someones face and a Maneki-neko "Oh I hadn't even noticed you there." If Dani was being particularly snoopy, further information good be drawn from the scroll. With the name Benevolent Master with six declined calls on Jentel's end with a most recent call being several months old. "You may call me Je.."

It was at this point the opposite of the reserved girl he had just met and had barely gotten around to introducing would be confronted in a bubbly manner that was so overwhelming Jentel simply yielded the conversation to her. In that time that Dani and Hizami would quickly be introduced Jentel himself seeing that his tea had finally ceased steeping would unzip the zipper on his mask. He would then turn forty five degrees in a direction away from prying eyes and took a hearty sip. Increasing the curiosity of what was behind the mask. Did he have a mouth. The subject of fauni, was not something he found all that wondrous to talk about. Being one himself although discreet that one would easily assume him human. It seemed this Hizami was proud of her lineage, something Jentel could not say for himself.

By the time Hizami started and finished introductions she was already on the move. Jentel would turn back, with the motion of his zipper being re-zipped as he watched the over energetic gal get a move one. Jentel sighed to himself, he hadn't finished his introduction with Dani, but at this point it seemed meaningless. What was the point in socializing with people anymore, people were so quick to turn down an willing servant such as himself, his only hope was that his beneveolent master would come back to senses and let him return to his side. Ah...but how long would that be.

Rather than attempt another conversation with the girl Jentel did something in which the same orbs of light manifested from his head. Totaling six, They would begin to float in a circle in front of him as he delictely used his bandaged hands to move them in roatationary manner. It was similar to watching someone flip through videos on their phone. Should she desire to peek, each of the yellow circles would contain what seemed to be typical scenes of a man dressed in traditional chinese gi looking as though he were saying things, among other events involving him, like watching tv, or eating, etc, it was almost...stalker like in vibe.

Dani wasn't sure how to respond to his comment about how he hadn't even noticed her. Rather she blinked one, her violet gaze lingering on him for just a moment before dropping back down to her tray. It wasn't exactly something she wasn't used to. Mostly she preferred to go unnoticed. Being the center of attention never really suited her. The spotlight made her much to useless. She was simply surprised by it. The way he had strode so surely over to this table, she had been sure he'd caught her intrigued stares. On the bright side, this meant he hadn't which gave her less to be embarrassed about. She wasn't even sure he had caught her admitting to it as he seemed rather distracted.

It wasn't until he was introducing himself that she looked back up at him, however, he wasn't quite able to to finish before another girl sat down beside them. Unlike the two already seated, she was loud, lively, and rambunctious. Dani was rendered speechless, unable to do anything but stare wide-eyed at the faunus girl. She attempted a small smile as the girl stated her name, not wanting to be rude, but also not able to handle much more at the moment. It was quiet for a brief moment as Hizami pulled out her lunch, but she quickly launched a question at Dani. Once again, the pink-haired girl just stared at her, a look that almost seemed confused in her eyes. It wasn't the lingo that confused her. More so, she was just taken aback by being asked such a blunt question so directly. Dani also wasn't quite sure what exactly she wanted to know. That she was a jellyfish faunus? That she could sting people when she was frightened and it happened on accident occasionally... much to her dismay.

Figuring she had to start somewhere, before the silence grew anymore uncomfortable than it already was, Dani took a deep breath, opening her mouth to speak. Before she could get anything out, however, the girl hopped back up nearly as quickly as she had sat down. Her mouth hung open for just a moment as she watched the girl leave. "Well... um... A-alright then." She murmured, snapping her mouth closed and returning her gaze to her tray. She had been hoping the boy across from her would continue his introduction, as she wasn't exactly good at these things in the first place, but the increased nerves certainly weren't going to help. She peaked up at him here and there, occasionally opening her mouth like she was going to say something, only to lower her head and bite nervously on her lower lip. It was one of those times when she was thankful for her long hair, as she would occasionally use it to hide in and shield her face.

Dani caught bits of what he was doing, unzipping his mask to sip his tea, staring at a picture on his phone, however she always turned her head before she could see too much. There were parts of her past she would rather people not pry in and she wanted to return that same courtesy to him. However, as the orbs of late appeared from his head once more, she couldn't help but stare. Several times she tried to tear her gaze away, but there was something extremely mesmerizing by them. That and she couldn't help but be curious by them. She wanted to know what they were. What they did. However, she didn't know if she should ask... if it was a appropriate to ask... if he even wanted to talk to her. The bubble of anxiety in her chest was large enough at this point she was afraid it might actually burst right through her rib cage.Debating whether she should say something or not, her amethyst eyes followed the orbs as he flicked through them. She was trying not to snoop, but she also couldn't help but notice the reoccurring face of the same man.

Dani wasn't exactly sure how long they stayed in silence like this and he didn't seem nearly as uncomfortable by it as she was. Not that she was uncomfortable with his presence there... more so just her own anxiety and uncertainly. Finally, when the tightness in her chest and throat was too much to bear, she dropped her fork onto her tray to keep from fidgeting with it and stirring her food around like a child. Clearing her throat softly, she forced herself to look up at him. "Je--" She started... only to realize she had never actually gotten his full name. Her cheeks flushed slightly, the heat slowly creeping up her neck and into her face, turning her cheeks a color similar to her hair. "I um.. never actually caught your name..." She murmured, letting her voice trail off. She did force herself to continue looking at him though, and tat was an accomplishment all it's own. "You don't have to tell me... but if you don't mind me asking... what are those?" She finally asked, reaching up a delicate hand to point at the orbs.

"They are my memories." Spoken in a distant and forlorn manner as his hand opened and just as they had came they would in a manner almost akin to melding with his person return to where they came. "Specifically of my benevolent master of whom I owe my everything to." Now in this instance Jentel would conjure a single light. He'd present it in a fashion to imply that it would be intended for Daenerys to bear witness of. Within it would play the few moments from his past that he had, cradled floating in his hands with a somberness in his eyes the memory played as though a film. There was a boy, with similar hair, this was a Jentel of the past, disheveled, clothing in tatters, lightening shooting across the sky, and only if listening closely the sound of thunder implying a storm to come. What stood out most was that the boy was not sacred, rather he looked confused, mouth agape, with definitively long thin fangs for someone who looked human.

Then the perspective would shift, as if looking through Jentel's very own eyes, there stood the man of whom was seen in the previous memories. In his hand looking at a similar looking orb to the one Daenerys and Jentel were looking through now. The man in a gi looked troubled for a moment looking at it with a frown and a nod before tucking it away in his pocket. Whatever happened to that memory? Jentel had long accepted that it didn't matter, as what happened next would be the man leaning down with an arm extended and a genuine smile as if to say everything would be alright, overshadowing any and all worries then and now. As always when he saw this part of the memory the Jentel of the present would be entranced by his benevolent masters kindness. As far as Jentel could remember he was but a homeless child.

Then with what would seem a short perspective of the two of them walking down the horizon as a light rain started, the memory would then grow white implying its end. Then in an indirect manner spoken as if recalling something he would recall another memory closing his eyes. "You seem the gentle type, Jentel is thy name." Opening them oncemore to look at Dani. "That is what you may call me. Whatever my name before meeting the benevolent master no longer matters. I'd give to him my life, my unquestioned loyalty, and my body. Still to this day...but he refuses to speak with me, since confining me here....ah..are you alright." Jentel would comment on the possible lingering redness of the girls face. The devotion Jentel had for this man was excessive perhaps even borderline loving affection with the comment about surrendering his body which was likely weird to hear. In truth one could probably easily imagine why, if having someone as subservient as Jentel, why 'cutting them off' would be necessary.

"I believe I've something for cold and fever in here." Placing his survivalist hand bag on the table Jentel would begin to dig into it, a collection of scalpels, band aids, gauze, among other medical and not so medical things were being placed on the table as he searched. The memory having been left alone would then begin to start over from the beginning again allowing another look through it. Beneath Jentel's tattered clothes of the past something faintly reminiscent of a tattoo or marking on his back partially revealed, and maybe if wincing hard enough, just enough to see that in the orb the man held in his hands what seemed like groups of fauni being separated from likely their children in violent manners.

                                                        7

The response to her question was a simple one, though he spoke in a distant tone, as if he were not entirely here with her, but rather lost in the memories. She supposed he probably was, as they were such a tangible thing for him. When he spoke of his master, Dani was initially taken a back. She supposed that slaves were still something that existed... but they hadn't been on the little island she grew up on. However, when he spoke of said master, his tone was both bitter sweet and true to devotion. She could tell he cared about him deeply, which comforted her slightly. Slaves was a word that sparked other words in her mind. Unfair, wrong, mistreated. Yet, his master coukdn't have been so bad if he spoke of him in such a manner.

Another orb appeared in front of him, but this time it was done in a manner that suggested it was for her to view. She stared at the light-like orb, the images swirling within, with something of a child-like curiosity. Her violet eyes wide, never leaving the tiny little ball. Like a baby refusing to fall asleep for the fear that she might miss something. She saw the child, a younger Jentel. The child had the same hair, but no mask. Instead long, sharp fangs that suggested a faunus heritage. Only, where he was clean and put together now, the child was dirty and disheveled. Alone on the streets with a storm brewing in the distance. The perspective changed and now she was looking at the man she had glimpsed in the previous memories. She could assume she was seeing things through Jentel's eyes now. Looking at another orb, similar to the one showing this memory. The man tucked it away into his pocket, a troubled expression upon his face. However, then he smiled, putting an arm around the little Jentel and they walked off along the street together.

Dani blinked a few times, unable to pull her eyes away from the orb even as the memory vanished. It truly was mesmerizing. A very unique semblence. She had never seen anything like it before. When he spoke, she shook her head lightly, clearing it as her bubble gum locks danced about her shoulders. Turning her violet eyes to his, she listened once more as she spoke. He commented on her gentleness, which only darkened the pink color filling her cheeks. He also spoke his name, or at least what she was to call him. The way he spoke it, was like he didn't remember what he was called before his master. Dani was quiet, but that made her all the more observant. She was piecing together the hints, figuring out that before his so-called master, he didn't remember anything.

It was strange to witness him speak of his master with such devotion. It made the memoryshe had seen feel that more intimate... like she was prying, even though he had openly showed it to her. He also seemed sad, being away from him was hard on the young man. She wondered if his loss felt any like hers. Wondered if it was anything like that put in her chest, never quite able to fill it. Still tender and throbbing. The only difference was that the person he cared for had sent him away. The people she cared for her had been ripped away from her without a choice. Ripped away from this world. Permanently. She wondered if that made it better... or worse. She was quiet a moment longer as she thought on it, before pushing her own memories to the corner of her mind. "Jentel, whatever his reason for sending you here and ignoring your calls, I'm sure it was a good one. I'm sure he feels it is for your own good." She thought she might be able to understand why his master sent him away... but that was her attempt at comfort and for the first time since meeting him, she hadn't stumbled or stammered on her words.

When he trailed off, asking her if she was okay, she blinked, confused by the question. It was only a moment later that she realized the cause for her question. The lingering heat in her cheeks. Biting nervously on her lower lip, a habit of hers, her hands instinctivelyflew up to her cheeks, pressing against them as if she were trying to will away the color. "Y-yes... I'm fine... I just.. well..." Her voice trailed off as she sighed softly, unsure of how to explain that she had only embarrassed herself without causing herself to blush further. It was a reaction she couldn't quite control and one that happened much to often for her own likely. She instead focused on the memory again, as it started replaying while he sear had through his bag, pulling out an assortment different things. This time Dani noticed a few things she hadn't the first time. A marking of sorts just barely revealed on his back and... in the orb the man had held... fauni being ripped away from their children. Violently.

Dani visibly shuddered at the sight. She remember the night on the island. The night her parents had died. Screaming, mobs, fire. She squeezed her eyes shut, banning the memories to the back of her mind before they could consume her... and then it clicked. "Do you remember anything before your master?" She asked, though she already new the answer. He didn't, and by choice... so that he didn't have to live with the painful memories. Ones so very similar to the ones that haunted her. Though, she had a feeling much worse might have come next.

"I do not." He said plainly as he collected the fond memory of his masters rescue as the light faded and returned to whence it came. Dismissing that she was ill Jentel began putting the supplies back in a meticulous manner whilst he simultaneously spoke. One of the more peculiar items he was putting away seemed to be a make up set for women, curious seeing as for the most part it seemed both him and his master were male. "Suffice to say It is not as though I am not in possession of them." Closing the bag the clicks of the button on its many pouches signaled their sealing before it draped down on his side again. From the contents of the bag alone and its design it was heavily used and Jentel was a man of many talents if he knew how to use everything he had placed on the table.

Jentel would then reach across the table, the cold food in which Dani had played with earlier he'd reach for its edges in a genial manner bringing him closer to the girl. "Should you desire, I can fetch you a new tray, this ones sustenance has likely become less than adequate. I've been feeling useless as of late." Jentel was seeking a purpose, he just as Dani expressed a feeling of uselessness, it was different. The man she saw before her lived a life dedicated to a single person in its entirety and by the sounds of it that life was suddenly gone. Whether or not Dani gave her consent he'd have moved back to his position with the tray of cold consumables now on his side of the table.

He'd look for a moment to find the closest trash receptacle to plot a course. "The master is still in possession of those memories. He's attempted to give them back, simply put, by his words it seems they always end up in his possession again." Returning to the tables conversation, Jentel closed his eyes once more. "You need to learn that you have to live with your memories, the good and the bad." He opened his eyes to raise his hand in an almost dismissive manner. "That is what I was told, yet it is something I do not understand. If given the option to be rid of bad or traumatic memories what fool wouldn't. Certainly we can agree." It was here Jentel looked to Dani with a piercing gaze that was akin to placing a rock on her shoulders. He wanted something from her, he wanted that affirmation, and whose to say if she disagreed what he would do. The ability to remove, replay, destroy, possibly even alter memories. It was still unknown whether this semblance applied solely to only himself. Did he have the ability to make someone forget how to breathe? Forget how to see? The semblance held several implication of possibilities but none of them certain.

He answered the question just the she had thought he might. While speaking of his memory loss, or more so, the fact that he did not have procession of his memories from before, he began packing the items neatly bag into his pack. Daenerys let her hands fall from her cheeks and back into her lap. Her gaze followed the movement of his hands, staring curiously as she glimpsed the little makeup kit, but she let it go unnoticed. Curious as she might be about it, considering as far as she could tell, both he and his master were male, it wasn't really her place to ask. For one, she didn't want to offend him, but she also did not want to distract from the topic of his semblence and his memories. It was all much to interesting, and he didn't really seem to mind. At least, she hoped not.

Dani wasn't quite prepared for what happened next. Leaning across the table, he reached for the edges of her tray, and in doing so, brought himself closer to her. She hard to force herself not to look away, keeping her violet gaze locked in his own yellow one, their irises the exact contrary of her own. She'd only just recovered the natural color of her face, but already she could feel her cheeks warming. She silently cursed herself for that involuntary reaction. He was speaking to her, her brain logged the words, but she couldn't quite find the focus to process them. It lasted but a moment before he slid the tray back across the to his side of the table, taking his own presence with it. Taking a deep breath, she thought back to his words, his offer to get her some food that was more edible, seeing as hers was well past folding having been sitting out for hours now.

"Well... I'm not really--" She had been about to say she wasn't really hungry, but at that exact moment, her stomach gave a little growl, rebelling against her own will. She bit on her lower lip again, holding back a bout of nervous laughter. She didn't want to use him in that way, especially knowing his background. She supposed the gesture coukd be considered an act of kindness that anyone might decide to offer. However... it was different with him. He was eager too do this. He needed it. In the end she decided that denying him that couldn't possibly be any better or worse than accepting his help. Dani just wanted him to know that he didn't have to do it. "If you don't mind... that would be lovely. It's really kind of you to offer."

With the matter of her food put behind them for now, their conversation drifted back to that of his lost memories and his master. He closed his eyes, speaking words that weren't his own, but rather had been spoken to him. When he opened them again, his golden eyes were piercing into her. She felt herself shrinking beneath the intensity of his gaze. She was frozen, as if the fiery depths she was staring into were that if ice, and not heat. She knew what he wanted. She knew he wanted her to agree with him. She felt her stomach drop as she realized that she did not agree with them. Her chest growing tight with the concern of what he might do when she didn't. She could lie. Simply agree with him to get him to drop it. That was something people did sometimes... right? That was what she had planned to do. However, when she opened her mouth to speak, nothing but the whisper of her breath came out.

Dani remained quiet for several moments yet, trying to find the words. In the end she decided she coukdn't lie. She didn't have it in her. So, once again she took in a deep breath, preparing herself for what was about to come. "You... You shared a memory with me... so I think it's only fair I do the same." She stated, wishing her voice had come out more stable than it sounded. Pulling off one of her gloves, she held out her palm, brushing her fingers over a scar. A burn mark by the looks of it. "I-I got this... among others... when I was much younger. The night the island I grew up on was raided. The night my parents.. died--" The girl only barely managed to choke the word out. She'd never actuallyspoken about this out loud. Not to anyone but her brother. "Its a horrific memory. It haunts me still... but, forgetting that would mean forgettingmy parents. Forgettingthe happy childhood I had and in doing so, forgetting the sacrifice they made so that I could live. Sometimes the bad is worth it, for the good."

"Tch" an audible sound of displeasure came from beneath the mask before his penetrating gaze wandered. He both liked and disliked what she had to say, liked as it was reminiscent of the master but disliked as it still seemed foolish. But...it did make him think. Were there any happy memories amidst the darkness that was memory fragment his master held. Convincing himself that couldn't be possible. As if there were then certainly it wouldn't have failed on so many occasion to remain in his head. No he was certain there was nothing in that memory of his worth salvaging. However, this moment...Jentel would open the palm of his hand. As though wind and light were fusing in some magical display, swirling together like weaving fabric, until finally what came was a ball of like not unlike the others. In it the conversation of what Daenerys had just said regarding her memories. "I think I will save this moment from ever being forgotten." Rather than it disappearing Jentel would instead place the memory in his bag before picking up the tray. Although his words lacked any context behind them.

"Madame Daenerys, would you feel the same about that opinion, if per say one could remove those bad memories whilst you kept the good?" He didn't seem angry quite the opposite he seemed to inquire what she would do if the memory removal process was selective. [Jentel would then stand with tray in hand and bowed for the moment. "Do think about it, I'll only be a second." He would then leave Daenerys to her thoughts, what remained of Jentel on the table his scroll and tea of which he'd finished earlier. Jentel would proceed first to the trash to be rid of the old food to acquire a new set keeping particular note of what was on it initially. During this time in which Jentel was procuring new sustenance. The table shook. His scroll was vibrating. Someone was calling him. If she were to look the contact picture and the number of the one he called Benevolent Master flashed. Fate would have it that Jentel was occupied. She would have enough time to answer it on her end for him, if she decided not to, well the call would be missed, and judging by the call history from before there wouldn't be another chance. She would have to shout if she desired to tell Jentel and likely by the time he'd arrive it would be over.

Meanwhile Jentel on the lunch line was caught in a daze of his own. Her island raided, a wound received, it likely took much to have her tell him this. Despite his disagreement he would remember these interactions fondly. Perhaps socializing wasn't all that bad. In truth it was perhaps the fact he was tasked with something that provided him such relief. In this brief moment he had forgotten about his master imagining himself for the moment in servitude to Daenerys. Perhaps she...perhaps she could fill the hole inside of him. Perhaps she would accept the offer of allowing him to be her humble servant until his master came to his senses.

Jentel would then begin his stride toward the table, it was now or never. A split second decision as to what she would do. If she answered it would likely be awkward having his scroll in her possession not to mention talking to his 'master' so that he wouldn't hang up to silence on the other line. She could always wait and tell him after the fact, but would his master actually accept a call back based on his previous behavior. BUT, To call someone would imply a desire to speak with them didn't it? But the boy named Jentel had made it irreversibly clear his desire to speak with his master once more was a fervent desire that he so wished to be fulfilled. Then it would come the final shake of the scroll...

A hiss of air through his teeth, the sound passing through his lips a sound of his displeasure. However, with that sound, his golden gaze railed away from her and unbound her from whatever spell she had been under. Once again she felt like she could move. Lungs burning, Dani let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding in until. She reached up, the pale skin of her hand glistening softly where the light caught it, and fussed with her long ink strands, tucking them ever so delicately behind her ear. Not necessarily because they had been out of place before, but more so to give herself something else to focus on. Something than the bubble of anxiety in her chest she was once again fearing might pop as it bulged against her rib cage. She was still fearful of what his reaction might be, not necessarily because she feared him, but more so because she knew the loss he was going through. Sure, their stories were two entirely different situations, but she would like to think she could relate to him on some level. Either way, she didn't want to make whatever it was he was going through any worse for him.

Several moments passed in silence, and it was then that she realized that small little noise was his reaction. All of it. He seemed to be lost in his own thoughts now, and she remained quiet as he did so, watching as he held his hand out palm up. Once again she was mesmerized by his display, unable to pull her gaze away from the swirling streams of light in his hand. They weaved themselves together, forming a small orb much like the others she had witnessed so far. However, this time she was surprised to see her own face within the glowing sphere. For a moment she wondered if she had upset him so much that he was going to destroy his memories of both her and their conversation. Just like she had seen him do after the encounter with Renier. But, then he spoke, and her violet eyes trailed after the orb as he tucked it carefully into his bag, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

Picking her glove back from the table, she slipped her fingers back into the fabric as Jentel picked up the tray. She let her hand fall back into her lap. The girl was taken slightly off-guard by his next question. Once again she was cast into speechlessness, unable to do anything but force her violet eyes to remain glued to his yellow ones. That was something she had not thought about, and as he bowed down, requesting she think on it in his absence, she was thrust into an internal debate. Initially she thought her answer might actually be yes. To be able to remember the happiness of her child, all the fond loving memories of her parents, their sacrifice... yet have the horrors of that night wiped from her mind. She'd never have nightmares about it again. She'd never be thrown into the memory in the middle of a conversation just because her thoughts wandered too far. All that pain, the sadness, it would be gone... It was a tempting idea...

However, then another thought hit her. Just like that scar on her hand was a part of her, so was that memory. It was a scar on her heart, invisible to the eye though she could feel it all the same. As painful as they might have been, as painful as they still were, even though they haunted her, they were a part of her. She was stronger from them. They made her the person she was today. Wishing them away would be the equivalent of wishing a part of herself away. A small frown touched her lips, her forehead creasing at the thought. She knew then that she had her answer ready for Jentel when he returned and a part of her wondered if he would be just as intrigued with this one as he had been by her last. It also made her realize something. Though her time her had been short, she'd exchanged very few words with anyone. Speaking only when it was necessary, avoiding crowds or situations she might have to speak. Yet, here she was, having an entire conversation with him. Granted she was still nervous. There was the stammering, the awkward silences, the blushing even... but it was still the most she had said to one individual since arriving at Beacon.

Dani was pulled from her thoughts as the table shook. Even the soft vibrating of the scroll startling her enough to cause her to jump. This was the exact reason she wore gloves. To prevent from accidentally stinging people, as the girl was easily startled. Her poor brother had been the victim of such a fate on multiple occasions. Shaking her head lightly at her own silliness, her violet eyes darted across the table only to widen slightly when she saw the image flashing across the screen. Whipping around i her seat, her eyes scanned the room for Jentel, but he was already on the other side of the room at this point. Even if she ran, she wouldn't be able to get it to him. In a normal situation she would simply shrug it off, knowing it would be simple for him to return the call at a later date. However, from what Jentel had said, this man hadn't been answering any of his countless calls and messages. Which brought her to the alternative option. Dani could just answer the phone for him, tell the caller he would just be a moment. That left the problem of how he would react when he saw her with his scroll. Would he be angry? Think she had violated his privacy?

Dani bit down nervously on her lower lip, watching as the scroll vibrated once more. Her heart was beating rapidly, little wings flapping restlessly against its cage. That bubble of anxiety had worked its way into her throat, making it hard to breath. It was now or never. If she didn't pick it up, the call would end. Jentel would possibly miss the only chance he had of speaking with the man he called his master again. She knew how much Jentel cared about this man. She had seen it in his eyes, heard it in his voice. She had witnessed firsthand how desperately he missed him. Knowing she couldn't just sit here and do nothing, she flung her hand across the table, deciding that if she could just keep this man talking long enough then Jentel would be able to speak to him and he would understand why she did it. At least she hoped... Dani gulped, trying to clear the bubble that was closing off her throat. She only hit the button just in time. Ignoring the hammering of her heart, she brought the scroll to her ear, praying she would not lose her ability to speak like she so often did. "H-hello?" She spoke out, her voice timid and trembling, but audible just the same.
