Edge would get to his feet and approached AJ, looking to stomp his ribs, looking to target them per his strategy.

Styles would get stomped upon in his mid-section where his ribs were located! he would quickly sit up favoring them as he let out a loud groan!

Seeing Styles sit up would cause Edge, almost by instinct, to get behind him, gain a little momentum, and attempt to hit a big boot to the back of AJ's head!

Receiving the big boot immediately after sitting up, Styles would feel a crushing blow to the back of the head! he would instantly grab his head afterwards and roll under the bottom rope, laying on the apron as he favored his head!

Wanting to cause even more damage to his opponent, the Rated-R Superstar sought a battle outside of the ring by attempting to knock AJ off the apron with a baseball slide to the downed Styles!

Styles would receive the baseball slide off the apron, selling it amazingly hitting the padded floor as the audience in the front row would begin to stand up for a better view! Styles would get on his hands and knees eventually, as the referee would warn Styles to get back in before eventually getting to a count!

All according to plan, Edge would follow his opponent outside, also receiving a warning from the referee. Edge would stalk AJ, waiting for him to get up.

Using the ring skirt to leverage onto his feet, Styles would whip his hair back by snapping back his head, and recuperating his stamina and breath, as he would now be on his feet, turning to Edge who was now on the outside!

Once AJ was up, Edge would approach him and go for some punches to his skull!

Styles would receive a punch to the head, now leaning up against the ring apron!

With AJ Styles leaning against the apron, Edge would attempt to ram his shoulder into AJ's midsection, looking to target his abdomen once more.

Styles would be rammed further back into the edge of the ring apron as he groaned once more from Edge's shoulder going into his abdomen again! Styles would then drop to one knee, as the referee would continue to count!

Edge was set on damaging AJ's abdomen, as he knew it would benefit him later on. "Five!" The referee was halfway through the count, causing Edge to attempt to grab AJ and try to irish whip him to the steel steps!

Hearing the referee count, Styles wouldn't want this match to be thrown away via count out. His abdomen was hurt, but he would look to suck up the pain for a brief moment to reverse the Irish-whip onto Edge, having HIM go shoulder first into the propped up steel steps instead!

Underestimating AJ's condition, Edge was caught by Styles' reversal, surprised by his opponent. With the momentum, Edge would crash shoulder-first into the hard and sturdy steel steps! On the concrete floor, Edge slightly rolled around in pain, favoring his shoulder.
