Quote: 5: HAZARD: The excitement upon removing an un-looted wooden training sword sticking out of the ground dissolves when you realize that a) the sword is fully rotten and b) there is now a big hole in the ground. "I'm... glad you're okay, sir..." Nahori told Sarcel quietly in passing, taking a few more steps towards the (hopefully) safer half of the room. Debris and remnants of something that looked like it might be valuable kept her blissfully distracted from Captain Vidari's questionable discovery.
"Ah, do you see that...?" she asked Static, "Might be useful." As she picked up the wooden sword, it immediately snapped at the middle, it's rotten core evident. Disappointment didn't even have the time to cross Nahori's face before the disrupted area creaked and groaned and another hole opened in the floor without further warning.
She barely had time to jump back.

Any relief Nahori felt for avoiding disaster was gone the next moment when she noticed the hole swallow her teammate instead. The last thing she was was strong, at least in a physical sense. Hell, she wasn't all that strong in a mental or emotional sense, either, but she was empathetic, she cared for those she worked with (at least the ones who were kind to her).
Nahori's blood pusher was in her throat, but she dove to grab Static before he was lost to the darkness.
"I've got you..." she groaned, using every ounce of strength she could muster to pull him up far enough that he could help maneuver himself out of the hole.

Quote: 1. ITEM! Notify staff in discord!
"What...?" Sarcel's head snapped over when Kursha called out to her. Mistake number one was thinking Kursha had actually found something useful. She abandoned Nahori's side to investigate which made mistake number two.
Mistake number three was forgoing the option to hit Kursha upside the head, as she found herself standing next to her commanding officer as they both stared at a spray-paint interpretation of a bulge.
"Are you jealous, or something?" Sarcel looked over at Kursha, tone surprisingly flippant. The sound of the floor crashing broke her facade and made her startle--she turned around just in time to see Nahori helping Static out of another hole in the foundation. Why was there so much hollowed ground underneath the hive?
"Caviap, Charge! Are you both alright? Get over here quickly." She wanted to go help, but didn't want to run the risk of adding more weight to the weakened floor. Shooting a glance towards Kursha, she added, "Captain Vidari needs your help deciphering an image on the wall, anyway..." Try not to sound too fed up, Sarcel.
Inching even further away from the group this time, Sarcel sifted through some glass with her boot. The blood on the shards was... interesting. Looking up towards the window, she pushed the vivid flashbacks of Awassi's opening fire on the group of them in their burning mansion. Might be worth holding onto...

Captain Kursha Vidari
As usual, Sarcel did not disappoint. The blueblood met his teasing with a cool, clearheaded response, that would put any other troll on the defensive. Unfortunately, he did not get the chance to make his own snarky reply, as just then Static fell through another place in the floor. Sarcel's protégé was quick to act. She seized the blueblood by the forearm and hefted him back up out of the darkness. Kursha let out a breath of air.
“Just pointing out to the lieutenant that we're not this hive's first guests since it burned down.” Nice try, but she would not trap him that easily. The greenblood continued further down the wall to look for any other strange traces, new or old. He approached a recuperacoon, pinned down by a toppled cabinet. the floor around it was spattered with what looked like fresh pools of otherwise rancid sopor. With a grunt and a push, he heaved the cabinet off the damaged recuperacoon. Two pairs of orange sclera blinked looked at him and he nearly dropped the cabinet back on top of them.
“... the hell?”

Static Charge Team Military Beans
"Gosh, thank you Nahori!" Static said as he pulled his legs back up to "solid" ground. "Your so fast! Thanks a bunch." Static squeezed her hand before letting it go, reassuring himself as well. He quickly, and carefully, made his way over to Sarcle, hopeful that this spot was a little more safe.
Static's attention was directed to a rather crude drawing on the wall, and the boy flushed. He was pretty sure Sarcle was joking, but that was Kursha's job, so... he followed orders? "Ah, well, the community center has classes on this... topic... " He didnt really want to continue. The greenblood made an odd face, an expletive, and Static worried for a second. "You dont have to go alone, sir. Im sure, um, if you wanted, i can... go... with... you?"

Quote: 6: OBSTACLE: A stray gust of wind finally looses one of the tarps off of the window, which lands directly on top of you. "Oh, I, um... it was nothing," At least the dimly lit remains of the hive might mask some of Nahori's sheepishness from Static. If he looked close enough, he might see her blushing orange, but otherwise it would be unnoticeable. Still, she squeezed his hand back, but only faintly.
Reluctantly, she moved with the rest of the group and closer to the recuperacoon Kursha looked preoccupied with. "Is everything... alright, Captain?" What had he found?
Before Nahori had a chance to get much closer, a strong wind ripped a nearby tarp from where it hung, hurtling it at her face. Sputtering and stunned, she fought with the tarp like it was alive until she managed to fling it away. It was only then she noticed what the greenblood was looking at.
"Children...?"

Quote: 2. HAZARD: You realize that a stuffed nutcreature is actually not stuffed when it nearly chases you out the window. Demari had come to a few minutes ago, only to realize they were squished and the object on top of them was too heavy for her to move it. The biggest problem though, was by now it was getting hard to breath and the sopor slime they'd sunk into was disgusting. As such, she really hadn't wanted to open her mouth unless she'd absolutely needed to. Help came in the form of an angry fluffy haired greenblood, however, and she'd never seen anything more beautiful.
Okay, she had, the ocean beat everything, but still! He was a knight in shining dreadlock... things.
"Thank you for saving us!" The blueblood coughed as she tried to climb out. Her lusii fluttered off the tops of other shelves and picture frames to float to her and check her over for injuries. The head wound seemed the most concerning. They grouped up to help ease Volkei out of the recuperacoon as well, deeming him part of the swarm for his troubles.
"I thought we'd be trapped in that thing forever! I was so scared!" The girl confessed, looking a bit upset. Her eyes began to tear up and as a furry sensation ran up her back she threw herself forward to hug her savior's knees.
"Wahhh!" She hiccuped as the nutbeast spooked her and began to tangle in her hair, continuing her terror.

Princess over here didn't like walking through glass. As if anywhere else would be any safer. But why fight a kid? None of the military trolls were keeping a close eye on him. Best to lay low.
"Would the dance hall suit your tastes better, your highness?" he asked with a not-exactly-friendly grin. Not waiting for a response, Guo started pawing around a couch. His eyebrows rose at what he found under a cushion.
"Yup," he said, showing protruding nails, "We've hit the safety jackpot!"
