Philip was surprised at all of the other trolls that entered the library too. Not that they had come, there were a lot of volunteers here, but rather how different they all seemed. The seemingly oldest troll there seemed to have discovered a flower while the rest of them picked up some odds and ends. He smiled amicably to them all as they tried not to bump into each other while avoiding the sinkhole.
"Not much yet. How about you?" He questioned back, even though they were all just getting started. Rifling through some of the drawers, Philip pulled out an envelope and began to examine it's contents. It appeared to be an RSVP with the names of some of the guests. He recalled the list Glamis had shared earlier and it seemed to match up. Pocketing it after Avvisi was satisfied, he jumped as the tealblood screamed.
"Are you okay?!" The hemoanon boy yelped as her flailing knocked his hat to the ground as he tried to near her.

Avvisi Quills Card Catalogue Catacombs Team
"Philip!" The tealblood exclaimed as he found yet another item. "Man your good at this, and OH! You! Floren? I need a picture of that thing too! Don't muss it up." Avvisi made her way over to Philip first. "This is great! We are gonna get all sorts of into from this-"
EEEEEKKKKK!!!! The tealblood screamed as she walked into something. "Get it OFF!! Makkah! Help! SOMEBODY! AHH GET IT OFF!" She flailed her arms around, scattering pictures and evidence.
A note dating to before the infamous party. It's written to Erilyn voicing concern regarding the presence of Epratt Kewrei. Specifically, there appears to have been a border disagreement between the orphaner hunting grounds and the Mirth Pavillion.

Kerras Farron
No one had discovered much of anything yet it seemed like. Fair enough. The investigation had only just begun. That meant that there was still plenty to discover. As Kerras went to inspect the strangely fresh plank of wood, a splash of red caught their eye. They changed course and retrieved a small patch of fabric out from under the ash. Dusting it off, the object revealed itself to be an eyepatch. Other than being smudged with soot, it appeared to be intact.
Kerras turned to the rest of the room, waving down their team. They held the eyepatch out where everyone could see. “I found something!”
Quella turned with interest as Kerras called out his find. "Yeah?" she called out, moving towards the tealblood. "Whatchu got?" As she moved, she could feel the floor shifting under her treacherously, but she managed to mostly keep her balance.
At least, that's what she thought.
Just as she was walking past a hole in the floor, she could swear she felt someone shove her towards it, but there was no one there. Off-balance, the blueblood hopped once, then tripped directly into the gaping hole. She twisted as she fell, and just barely managed to catch the lip of the pit, but she could hear the entire floor beginning to shift under her weight. "Get away!" she yelled up at the wigglers as the floor began to give way.

Kerras finds:
Quote:
Eyepatch
A red eye patch made of durable material. It looks just like a set piece from Schraad: The Musical! Wait...
”It's okay! Thank you though! “ Ely managed to hurridly squeak out. Floren’s kindness was appreciated, however dangerous. All the kindness in the world wouldn't save her from being outed should he help. ”I have to use special stuff, sensitive skin you see.“ A bold faced lie, but hopefully enough of a head scratcher to distract from how she was using full blown gauze wraps to cover a simple hand scrape. ”Adhesives make me itchy...“ Yet another lie to cover her little butt. How many could she tell before getting caught?
Kerras seemed to find something, thank gog. For all their recklessness they seemed to be astoundingly lucky. It was comforting, in some weird way. Maybe good people just made it out well in the end.
She was already recovering from her injury, hopskipping her way over to the first two members of their motley crew when Quella had called out a warning. Hunh? What? Just as she could register “get away” as a command, she watched as Quella and Kerras fell straight through the floor. ”WAIT! I've got- ack! “
Now Ely could be a bit reckless herself at times, depending on the situation. Plunge headfirst, one may say. So when she reached out to grab at Quella’s, ankles in a lame attempt to save someone twice her size, she found herself pitching face first into the darkness.
3. OBSTACLE: You pick up what appears to be a semi-intact book and it dissolves in your hands.
It'd taken some time to peel all of the cobwebs off Avvisi but they'd finally managed it. Philip was relieved to return to the normal tension of investigating and had picked up a book when suddenly a terrible sound caught his attention.
The four other trolls that'd entered the library behind them began to fall into the ground. His eyes widened and they were gone. The book in his hands dissolved into dust and only emphasized this.
"A-ah... I hope they're alright." The hemoanon boy swallowed and moved a little closer to try and peer down but had to stay too far back to be able to see anything. He wanted to check that they were okay but it was too dangerous.
"Oh thank GLOB Philip!" Avvisi said as the investigator managed to free her from the mess. "Im so glad there wasn't anything... alive in there." She squeezed Makkah's hand, happy for help stabilizing her balance.
The tealblood busied herself with recollecting her photographs and items, making sure they were all secure in her bag.
Makkah rushed to Avvisi and Philip after she was viciously attacked by all those webs. Hugging the girl she asked, ”Quillsy, are you okay?! That was way harsh!” She noticed some stray webs on her back and wiped them off for her. As she looked down, she realized one of the notebooks on the floor had none of the dust clouding it that the other books (and now Avvisi) were covered in. Releasing her friend, she walked over and picked it up.
”Woah, somebody went postal in this thing. It's all kinds o' colors and I can't even make sense of the handwriting.”
Cynril resumed his investigation, in hopes tonight would be like last night. A night filled with loot. Sadly this wasn't the case for tonight as everything seemed to collapse the moment he turned around.
Everything was yucky and gooey and Cynril got really bothered by the amount of grime and dust this place had. All of all trolls in Alternia, he got disgusted by everything. And that was a lot to say. Gog... The teen thought. I really should've listened and stayed home...
Nonsense. He had to be doing the right thing. Despite the negative self-talk, Cyn continued searching.
Cynril sighed as he stepped on more goo. Really, he was getting tired of it. Maybe a sweeps back he'd be more scared about it but now, he was just pissed. Wiping his stolen shoes with the floor, he continued looking around and generally avoiding his wandering gaze to look at the cage.
