It was pretty unconventional, she knew, but at least it was fast. One throw, and they were already back down to two. Peyton gave an apologetic smile to Lex. "Sorry Champ, but you're out." At least he'd gotten a second chance though, that was something.

Turning to the two remaining girl, the petite Sun pointed to both of them. Alright, one more round, and we'll have a winner. ReadY? Here we go. One. Two. Three, go!"

Gabby blinked at Tzei's reaction, and quickly threw out her own choice when time came for it. She threw out rock, blinked at Tzei's choice, then lifted up her hand that was currently balled into a fist to represent her choice to show it to Peyton.

"Rock beats scissors," she said sort of dumbly, a little in disbelief that things turned out the way that they did. "So...that means...?"

"That means," Peyton started, relief clear in her voice. "That we have a winner finally. Congratulation, Gabby." It seemed fitting, she thought. Gabby had fought her way all the way to the finals.

With a smile she turned to Tzei. "Thank you for coming back and humoring all of this. I'm sorry about the necessity."

Plucking a pen from behind one small ear, Peyton made a circular mark on the paper clipped into her clipboard. "Everyone'll have a chance to clean up, and then the winners will be announced back at the cafeteria." Another smile at both girls, and then she was heading off in that direction.
