Sigmund gave a light smile and nod in acknowledgement to her return compliment. It set a feeling of relief off his chest knowing that Elliot wasn't late, and his partner was just in fact rather early. His expression shifted quickly when Stella moved closer to him causing him to take a step back not liking the sly grin on her face. Being in this situation was exactly what he didn't want. He'd have to debate about killing his friend Russ at a later date. "I don't even really know a lot about the girl. I'd rather have gone with Tala or you because I at least know you two. Would've been also been comfortable going without a date. Russ caught me off guard in the end though." He mentioned with a light frown not liking the kind of power Stella potentially held over him in the moment. It was obvious this was due to feeling awkward and shy in his particular situation, but wouldn't admit it out loud. Giving his partner or team a hold over him wasn't something he would have liked. There were two of them that would take advantage of it for sure, and the other female team member was a mystery in what she would do.
It looked as if Stella wanted to prod some more, but either due to the some good luck or bad luck, a voice called his name causing him to jump a bit from surprise. He noticed the purple haired Faunus looking behind him, and gave her a glare for the look she had on her face, before returning with a more neutral expression as he turned around to face his date causing a very light tinge of red to don his cheeks. Sigmund looked at Jasper and admitted she looked rather pretty in the dress. Russ had shown her a picture of the girl before this day, so he knew she was rather attractive looking. The only thing he was feeling awkward about was her energy."Uh, yea I'm Sigmund. Based on the picture Russ sent me you're his cousin, Jasper. You look great in the dress. Hope the journey here wasn't too long, nor that you didn't have too much trouble finding me?" He complimented not sure what else to say right now. "....yup might have to kill Russ if he got me into something I may not be able to handle."Luckily his saving grace came in the form of Elliot, his mother, and some other guy he never met.
Sigmund watched the interaction between the two, and made a mental note to use it as leverage against his partner if she tried something against him. Red eyes soon turned towards the sound of Rainer making his debut soon after. A light chuckle escaped his lips seeing his fellow male. "I haven't seen her either. If she decides to show up I'm sure one of us will notice......in more ways than one." He mentioned alluding to the wager that the three of them placed, before looking back at Jasper. "Sorry, this is Rainer, and Stella. They're my teammates, and Tala is the fourth, but we're not sure if she'll show." Sigmund explained before giving a nod to Stella's parting words. The young man offered his arm to Jasper having been given some time to get his nerves under control thanks to the two distractions. "We better head inside too before it gets any later. I'll see you inside Rainer. Give everyone on the dance floor hell." The boy mentioned with a small smile as he waited for Jasper to accept his arm before they went inside. "Ready to head in?"

Calling Ivory's movements clumsy was probably a generous term. The pinkette could barely follow along with the motions of her partner and was often either several steps behind or a step ahead which caused her to step on his feet. Well, at first anyway. Ivory, fast learner that she was, quickly picked up on the basics of what was going on and fell in step within the span of a minute. Eventually sshe figured out where to go with just the slightest tug of her hand or press against her hip and all the while she was beaming. Every movement made her heels click pleasantly against the floor and her dress swish about her thighs, she could feel the slight curls she'd put into her hair bouncing and tickling her cheeks and for once she didn't feel like the stepped on daughter of a maid. Ivory, for a change, felt pretty, the way she believed her mother felt even on her worst day, and it made her heart beat and a dull thud echo in her ear...wait that last part couldn't have been right... The pinkette had gotten so entranced in the dancing, she'd kept moving but rested her head against Tyzan's chest and let out the occasional contented sigh. As soon as she realized this Ivory's cheeks burned a brilliant red as she pulled herself back quickly and fixed her gaze on the floor.

"V-verily" Ivory kept her gaze focused on the floor as she gripped the front of her skirt. Her face felt hot , like she'd just run nonstop on a hot summer day, she'd never been that close to any boy her age before , let alone felt so relaxed around rhem. Everything felt awkward and she had no idea of what she was doing , si she asked herself "what would mama do?" Ivory's mother had been tall, strong and confident as a hunttress, at least according to the ones who met her before her accident, so...What would she have done as someone so strong and confident? Niraya looks at Blitz he was being kind to her which helped her feel more comfortable being in a strange place. Hmm...I'm still not sure about this,Mauve thought to himself as he tugged a little on the one of the ribbons of his bustle. It was a total toss-up with how he wanted to dress this evening. Surprisingly, his teammate Sage has asked him to go. With his purple hair pulled back in pins with fake hydrangeas, Mauve looked good. Like, make several girls jealous and guys confused good. The issue was how his outfit (middle) would pair with his date's. Sage had this very admirable stoicism to him that would only be complement by getting all dressed up for something like this. Mauve was sure Sage would look amazing. The issue was what to pair that with. His initial thought was to match dapper with dapper. What would be more stunning than two hot gents ready to get down? Instead, he ended up settling for a more feminine looking, thinking that the offset would have its own sort of appeal. He wasn't wrong, and as good as Mauve looked in more masculine clothing, he absolutely killed it when it came to women's fashion. All that was left now was to find his prince charming. The guys had given Crimson the space to get ready in the room while they prepared in the locker room and agreed to meet back up at the dance if one got done before the other. A couple guys had given Mauve questioning looks when he left the locker room. Said looks were met with a flirty wave. Before the boy, looking more like a girl than ever, headed to the ballroom. Not really sure where Sage was, he stood just inside the entrance, leaned up against a podium, deciding that was the best place to meet up.
There were a few groups already inside, some Mauve recognized while others not so much. It seems like Yang Xiao Long, Miss Goodwitch, a few other faculty were attending the event. Carmine and Opal of team ECHO seemed to be each others dates. The boy grinned. Not surprising. Those two have a very... genuine air to them. Crimson's having fun with dancing, I se- Crimson?! He had to do a double-take, quite surprised at his own teammate's capability on the dance floor. Woman couldn't take on a branch by herself but was floating across the glossy floor like it was nothing. He couldn't help but grin at the scene. Who had she been dancing with anyway? With how the guy reacted at the end of their dance, it was almost like he'd been conscripted. Mauve snickered at the idea, and turned back to the front door, waiting for his date. Still surprised he even asked me, of all people. Heehee, not that I'm complaining. He's a total cutie after all.
Ivory's face eventually began to cool down, good for her because she felt like she was about to begin sweating. The pinkette gently cooed as she felt her head being pet, something that always made her feel relaxed. With another contented sigh Ivory nuzzled her cheek against her partner's chest and wrapped her arms around his waist, pulling him closer as she did when she slept.
