Antonio sat on his bed, smiling at his older brother. He was glad that Connor's arm wasn't in that sling anymore, because now Connor could play with him. Antonio liked that.
Connor smiled down at the baby, and moved both arms around his little brother, pulling him up into his lap. Antonio cooed, giggling. He held out his book. "Escribe para tu?" He asked, grinning.
Connor smiled, nodding. "Of course." He replied, before opening the book. Antonio went into rapid spanish, gesturing wildly while he explained what happened.
Connor wrote while he explained, laughing quietly at the gestures.Entry 7 ...Mother's been a tad bit busy lately. She's taking extra measures to make more money. I guess she wants to spoil us, or something... ...I've been taking care of Antonio. Not that I mind, he's a sweetheart. But don't tell anyone I said that. He speaks in spanish more often than not. But Mom's trying to teach him english. ...Today we went out riding. Well... more like walking, but he was riding on my back. I want to get a horse. A horse just for me and Antonio, because it'd be cool to have a horse for us to ride whenever we wanted. ...Maybe I'll start working, and start saving up money to try and buy us a horse. That'd be cool. Or maybe a whole stable-full of horses. That'd be wicked. ...Maybe... Connor looked down at Antonio, who was looking over his writing intensely, as if to make sure he wrote what he was supposed to. Connor laughed and closed the book. "Why don't we take a nap, loveling?" He cooed, playfully tickling the boy's side.
Antonio giggled, writhering away from him. He nodded, and took the bottle offered to him. Connor leaned over, wrapping him in his blanket. He laid next to the boy, watching him drift off to sleep. "Sleep tight, little brother." He murmured quietly, gently.

Eileen sat quietly, humming as she drew something. She had developed a new hobby: Photography. Needless to say, this was priding Antonio in his appearance. She smiled at the boy sitting on a rock, playing with a butterfly plushie he received.
She looked down, and continued her little sketch. With time, she'd become much better, but for now...
Her trusty camera laid by her hip, and she picked it up, smiling at Antonio. "Ready, hon?"
"Si, Mama!" The boy cried, hopping up and laughing. Eileen smiled, and knelt down, taking a few pictures of Antonio.
She finished the pictures, and pocketed the camera quietly, before coming over and picking Antonio up off the rock. "I missed you, hon."
"Missed too, Mama." He offered in his broken english, before throwing his black arms around the woman's neck and hugging her comfortably.
Eileen grinned, and carried Antonio inside quietly, holding him gently. She'd have to get the pictures she took developed soon, so she could have an album set up. Oh my little Antonio baby... She thought quietly, smiling. Growing up so fast...

Antonio is growing quickly... almost too quickly to keep up with at times. What this boy needs is a room makeover, to reflect the changing wants and needs of a boy instead of a toddler. The composition and decoration of the room should be completely up to him!
Tasks:
1. Find 5 objects with which to decorate the new room. These can be either in minishops or found online.
2. Find a bed worthy of the Little Prince, as well as furniture. (Again, either in minishops or online, or draw a picture!)
3. Post an RP of shopping, as well as of Antonio helping to recreate his 'dream room'.

"Mot-- Mother!" Antonio whined from his spot, kicking at a small plush toy in his way. "MOTHER!!"
"I'm coming, Tonio, give me a moment!" Eileen urged, rushing up the stairs and to the little boy's bedroom. "What is it, dearest?"
"I'm tired of this mess." He fumed, glaring at the room in front of him. "It's so cluttered! There's so much stuff, it's stupid!" He picked up a plushie and tossed it out of his way.
Eileen sighed, and pinched her nose. "Well, dearest, what do you want to do about it?"
"I'm not cleaning it." Antonio replied quickly, looking up at her in disbelief.
"Well, what do you want to do, then, Antonio?" Eileen sighed, watching him tiredly. She'd been working on so much since they moved into the larger house, adding on rooms, rearranging, redecorating...
"I want to redecorate it. But I want ME to have a say in this now." Antonio replied, watching her. "I'm old enough, you know."
"You're still a baby."
"Am not!" Antonio fumed. "I'm not a baby." He took a deep breath. "And I already have a lot of really cool ideas going."
Eileen sighed, and pinched her nose, taking a deep breath. "This room is too small to redecorate."
"Oh, I know. But you could turn this room into your wardrobe, and I can take one of the empty bedrooms up on the second floor. Or the third floor." He grinned at her. "Come on, Mom. You always did need more space for your clothes."
Eileen eyed him quietly, biting her lip. "I don't know, Antonio..."
"We can have Uncle Jonathan help!" He insisted, eyes wide with hope. The look itself was damn near murder for Eileen, and she finally sighed.
"Fine, Antonio. Just... have Jonathan help you."
"I will." He promised, grinning. Antonio turned, moving over things, and grabbed a few scrolls of paper. Then he ran out. "UNCLE JONATHAAAN!"
Eileen watched the boy tearing off to find his uncle, and bit her lip. She looked around the room, sighing. "Ay dios mio." She whispered, pinching her nose. Her baby was growing up so fast.

"Jonathan it's really, really simple." Antonio explained, shrugging with an amused expression on his face. "The blueprint is already drawn. We're not even adding on rooms, there's a room that fits this description perfectly. We just need to put up a wall between this closet and that." Antonio pointed coolly, while Jonathan looked on.
"Are you sure about this, Antonio? I mean, it's a lot of bloody work. I'm small and weak. I'm a thief, not a carpenter." Jonathan argued, rubbing his neck sheepishly.
Antonio rolled his eyes. "We can do this, Uncle Jonathan. Just trust me."
"You know, I hear that from your mother a lot, and it never works out well."
Antonio grinned childishly. "Well I'm not my mum, now am I? Just trust me, Uncle Jonathan." He hugged the man loosely around the waist, and rolled out the blueprints.
"The fun part is..." Antonio continued, "Mom won't know about this room." He pointed. "I've got gold enough saved up to buy me some things, like, y'know, weapons. So, I'm gonna fill this room up and keep m'self safe, so Mom'll be proud when she sees."
"I don't know, Antonio. I think she'd want to give you your first weapon." Jonathan countered, touching his shoulder. "Sort of a passin' down the torch thing, y'know?"
Antonio frowned, and looked up at Jonathan. "You really think it'd mean that much to her?"
"I really do, kiddo." He promised, grinning. "So, how'a bout we build this thing, and let'chur mother give it her own little touch after she sees, cool?"
Antonio grinned at his uncle, and nodded. "Sure, Uncle Jonathan. Sure." He hugged the man.
"Now... we just have to clear everything out."
"Ready?"
"Set..."
"Clear out!"

"Hey, Uncle Jon?"
"I'm in here, Antonio!"
"Where are you?"
Jonathan grinned, and climbed out from under the day-bed they'd set up in his room. "I'm right here." He replied, pulling himself out of the bed. Jonathan rose, and glanced around, frowning a bit. "Y'know, Antonio, we might have to switch some things around. I mean, I don't think the bookshelf's going to fit in here right next to the bed."
And he was right. The bed, instead of going long-ways, went width-ways, taking up more room on the wall it was against. Antonio dropped the corner of his lips into a faint frown, thinking. Then he grinned. "We could put it right over here." He moved over in the corner spot between the desk and the closet door. "It'd fit right here, and we only have to move the desk over a bit."
Jonathan grinned, and nodded a little bit. "Alright, so we'll take care of that." He replied simply. "But we might not get the bookshelf for a little bit."
"Aw that's alright." Antonio grinned at Jonathan. "Let's get the rest of the furniture in here." He started out, and Jonathan followed, grinning.
Soon enough, the two of them dragged in the TV and it's stand, hooking up the various wires so Antonio had the cable his mother had in her room. Jonathan began to leave, but Antonio was on his bed, watching...
Sunday Morning Cartoons.
"Antonio!" Jonathan rolled his eyes. "After we finish moving stuff in!" Antonio grumbled under his breath, and shut the TV off, coming after Jonathan.
Together, they moved in the different racks and shelves for his weapon room, installing those carefully.
And then they were out again, moving in a desk and putting it right by the door, on the wall against it. Antonio grinned, wheeling in on the chair. "Whooo! It's done!"
Jonathan smirked a little secretively. "You have fun in here. Y'mom and me gotta take care of some stuff, and we'll be back to show her the room, alright?"
"Sure." Antonio grinned at him, wheeling to his bed to watch cartoons.
A few hours later...
Jonathan trudged up the stairs, carrying a box of things, among other artifacts dragged up the stairs by two moving men and a few friends. "Hey Antonio!" He called, grinning. "Get the door!"
Antonio blinked, and opened the door, wheeling back when Jonathan came in. He arched an eyebrow. "Whassat?"
"This is the fixings to finish off ya room." Jonathan explained, grinning wickedly. Antonio grinned and hopped out of his chair and onto the floor, opening the box eagerly.
On top of all the other contents, was a silver laptop. "It's wireless." Jonathan explained. "An' the charger an' everything's in there. Even got a nice case for ya too." He held up the laptop's case, grinning sheepishly.
Antonio picked it up, opened it, eyed it. "S'even got changable drives." He noted, eyes gleaming. "Ya mean I can play DVDs on here too?"
"Sure ya can." Jonathan grinned. Antonio took the case carefully, and set all the chargers and drives inside. Then he put the laptop on his desk, and the case under it neatly in the corner.
"Thank you Uncle Jon." He grinned at him.
"Oh oh oh. There's more." Jonathan laughed. Antonio blinked, and grinned, hopping down to the box once more.
Jonathan reached in, and held out a journal. Antonio frowned, taking it quietly. "What's this, Uncle Jon?"
"It's a journal." He answered bluntly, smiling. "I mean, now, y'Mom has one, and you can have one to write in too."
Antonio grinned, and set it up on his desk next to his laptop, very neatly. "Thank you, Uncle Jon." He hugged him, grinning. Jonathan returned the hug and smiled a bit.
"Oy, Jon!" One of the moving guys called from the door. "Can we move it in now?"
"Move what in, Uncle Jon?" Antonio blinked. Jonathan grinned, nudging him off to the side.
The moving men came in, carrying a bookshelf, and two boxes of books. After the bookshelf was set up next to the closet door, they started to place books of fairy tales, grimoires, and other things on the shelves.
Antonio watched in amazement, seeing more magic books fill up the spaces than anything. Jonathan grinned at his amazement. "I thought ya'd like the magic stuff a bit more'n the fairy tale stuff."
"T-Thank you..." He whispered, stepping forward and grabbing one of the grimoires.
Jonathan grinned. "There's, uh, somethin' else in here, too. It's kinda a goofy gift, but..." Jonathan held out a picture frame.
"It's empty." Antonio took it anyway, examining it from all angles.
"Well, yeah it's empty. It's for you to put in a picture of whatever you like." He grinned at him. Antonio smiled, and went to his desk, putting it in place behind his laptop, so it was visible when the lapto was closed.
"Thanks, Uncle Jon. For all of this." He hugged him tight, and Jonathan coughed, returning the hug somewhat meekly. "Sure, kiddo." He smiled.
Antonio bolted away from Uncle Jon after the moving men left, and grinned. "Mom!" He called. Then he waited.... "MAAA!"
"I'm coming Antonio!" Eileen sighed, starting up the stairs. "Always wait til I'm downstairs." She walked to Antonio's new room, and smiled. "What, loving?"
"It's done." Antonio took his mother's hand, dragging him inside. He gave her a detailed tour of everything, before finally dragging her to see his 'secret' room. "Look look." He unlocked the magic lock, by pressing his finger in. The lock took a small blood sample, matched it, and opened.
Eileen looked amused. "I'm impressed."
"Come on come on!" He dragged her inside, and waved. In the room was a many number of glass display cases, racks for guns, spears, and other longer weapons.
Eileen smiled a little, feeling her heart rise, and then fall. Her baby was growing up. "Well... since you're all set up and everything... I guess it's time." She hugged Antonio, and then dug out a dagger, holding it out.
Antonio took it quietly, appraising it. The blade had many, many knicks from various sources. The leather on it's handle was worn down. "You be careful with that." Eileen ordered. "That's... very precious to me. And now it can be very precious to you."
Antonio grinned at his mother, hugging her tight. "I'll take good care'a it, Momma. I promise."
Eileen nodded her head a little, returning the hug. "I know you will, baby." She whispered, kissing the top of his head. "I'm proud'a you, 'Tonio. Don't you never forget that."
Eileen smiled, and walked out of the closet with Antonio. Antonio hopped onto his bed, grabbing his laptop and immediately launching onto the internet.
Jonathan took Eileen by the hand gently, leading her out and smiling. "So, what ya think?"
"I think..." She glanced back, and smiled sadly. "He's growing up."
"Aw Eileen..."
"I'm not crying." She pointed out bluntly, hugging him. Jonathan smirked, returning the hug.
"I was gonna say, it's alright to cry." He muttered, rubbing her back.
"Well, I'm not. I'm happy he's growing up, y'know? And, I mean, he's being smart about it all." She smiled at him. "I just... wish it wasn't happening so fast." She whispered.
Jonathan nodded sympathetically. "Well, no worries, love. We'll have babies to take care of, the rate you keep adopting things."
Eileen whacked him affectionately, rolling her eyes. "Jackass."
"You love it." Jonathan grinned wickedly, leading Eileen down the stairs to the kitchen.
"... You're hungry, aren't you."
"Well why else would we be going to the kitchen?"
"Jonathan you jackass."

"Eileen I don't think this is safe." Eileen sighed at Jonathan's protest, and turned, kissing him hard.
"Look, I don't like doing it any more than you do, Jon. But I need you to do this for me." She watched him carefully. "It isn't safe. I have to go."
"But Eileen--"
"I know a friend. She'll keep Antonio safe for me. I want you to help her." Jonathan watched her quietly, gnawing on his lip uneasily.
"I'm going to miss you."
"Oh Jonathan." Eileen rolled her eyes and hugged him, sighing. "It's not forever." She promised, smiling at him gently. "I'll be back."
Jonathan nodded a little, and hugged her tight. "I just... be careful, okay? Please?"
"Of course, Jon." She grinned, and drew back, starting for the door. She opened it, and looked at him. "Take him, go see Amparo. Please?" She whispered, biting her lip and watching him.
Jonathan nodded, and went upstairs, picking up Antonio and grabbing the bag they'd packed before. Eileen stopped him, and dropped in a few gifts for Antonio, and then nodded to them.
"Go. I'll be fine." She heard a crash from the back of the house, and winced. "Go now."
Jonathan turned towards it, but Eileen grabbed his shoulder. "Go. Jonathan, please."
"You be safe." Jonathan ordered, kissing her again. She returned the kiss briefly, before shoving him out the door. She closed it, and turned towards the intruder, eyes narrowed.
Jonathan didn't look back, afraid of what he'd see if he did. He heard a gunshot, and winced, glancing back slightly. He looked down at Antonio, who was still asleep, and started running for the car.
Jonathan got to the car and set Antonio in the back, covering him up gently. "It's gonna be okay, 'Tonio." He promised, kissing his forehead. He brushed the boy's hair aside, and then got in the driver's seat, staring up at the house. Watching.
Eileen lied. She wasn't safe. The intruder continued to tear through the house. But Jonathan didn't see Eileen's shadow. He put the car into reverse, and sped away from the house, starting to drive to Durem.
He was told to take Antonio to Amparo, and stay with them.
It was the least he could do for Eileen. He reached down absently, and grabbed a silver coin that dangled around his neck, driving to Durem.
"I love you, Jonathan."
"I know."
"Promise me something."
"What?"
"If something ever happens... you take Antonio, and you keep him safe."
"Eileen, everything'll be fine."
"Just promise me that."
"I promise, Eileen."
Jonathan rubbed his eyes quietly, and continued driving. He made a promise, one that he fully intended to keep. He glanced back quietly at the sleeping form, and smiled sadly. "I'm sorry, Antonio." He whispered, reaching back to brush his hair out of his face.
Antonio frowned in his sleep and rolled over, nuzzling into the leather interior of the car.
After what seemed like hours, Jonathan arrived at Amparo's apartment. He got out, and picked up Antonio and the bag, starting inside.
Amparo Fernandez was sitting inside, going through her papers on what jobs had to be done. She looked up when someone knocked on the door, and frowned, grabbing her gun and walking to the door.
The door opened, and Jonathan was met with a gun to the face. He grinned crookedly. "Heya, Amp."
Amparo eyed Jonathan, and then the boy. It clicked. "She's... oh no. Oh, Jon I'm sorry." Amparo dropped the gun carelessly and hugged Jonathan, careful of the boy in his arms.
Jonathan shrugged lightly. "She told me... She told me you'd help."
"Hell yes." Amparo smiled a little. "Come in, come in." She moved aside, letting Jonathan carry Antonio in. "Is this her little boy?"
"Mmhm." He set Antonio down in Amparo's room, on the bed. Amparo watched Antonio quietly, as Jonathan stood behind her, an arm around her waist. "You'll take care of him?"
"For her? I'd do anything." She turned in Jonathan's arms, eying him. "Are you okay?"
"No, I'm not." He admitted, smiling sheepishly. "But I'm gonna stay, if that's alright. Eileen wants me to take care of him."
"So we'll be raising him together." Amparo arched an eyebrow.
Jonathan nodded a little, and smiled at her. "Hope that's not a problem."
"Pff. If I had a problem with you, I'd have settled it in Cairo." She smiled at him, before walking back to the living room. "So, fill me in."
Jonathan sighed. "Coffee?"
"Sure." Amparo walked to the kitchen, making the coffee and then coming out, holding out the mug. Jonathan was in the chair, already asleep. Amparo arched an eyebrow, and sighed with a smile, covering Jonathan up. "You can tell me tomorrow." She whispered, smoothing his hair away.
"What do you want outta life, Eileen? You're so damn complicated."
"I want safety for my kid."
"He ain't never gonna be safe if you keep ******** around like this."
"Then I guess, when time comes, Amparo can show me her gratitude and take care of him."
"But Amparo's worse off than you."
"Yeah, but she's got a family. She can take care of him."
"Antonio might not like her."
"I doubt that highly."
"Eileen, you should get outta--"
"I can't get outta this, Jonathan. Just trust me. If anything happens, you take him to Amparo, and you keep him safe."
"..." Sigh. "I will."
"Good. I love you."
"I love you too." A kiss, and then Eileen was gone.
