still trapped sad
A trapped door...! Vremea shuffled forward. She'd managed to snap open the ones on the Kursha ship with ease. Unfortunately for Vremea's luck, however, the yellowblood was inable to dismantle the trap. She pursed her lips. "I-I'm sorry, I can't..." She looked a little dissapointed in herself.

Chiara sighed. How many times had they come across a trap, just waiting for them to trigger it and get all sorts of nasty things sprayed on them. There were many gross and nasty things on these ships, zombie slime, gross undead lusus goop, hamster guts. But no matter what, it was the trap results that Chiara always looked forward to showering off in the end.

She looked at her party members, and sighed. Keionx was tough, sure, but she was still a teen. There was no way Eilidh could go through a presumably trapped door. And Vremea, well, she did look tough, but, not as tough as Chiara. The blueblood sighed again, she would have to sacrifice herself for the greater good, she supposed.

The yellowblood had come prepared for the possible pain this spraying thing would deal. She quickly covered her face with the neckerchief and used it as a way to breathe-- Some of it lingered, but she missed the brunt of the attack. Good. She still felt like she could take more.

Dmg from trap
Eilidh watched as the door opened, following the party through the door.... and through the trap. As they walked through, gas let out. The tealblood covered her mouth... well face. Wow that hurt! Moving away from the door, she fanned her face with her hand. She couldn't imagine how bad it would have hurt if she wasn't as quick to cover her face as she was.
Keionx hated the gas attacks. She was glad that the spacesuit filtered out the worst of it, otherwise... well, she didn't want to think about it. She supposed that the caustic stuff would have given her armor a nice shine, but it was not doing anything to the dingy volunteer suit.
This is a mini-boss battle, the full rules and mechanics of which can be reviewed here. If the mini-boss reaches 0hp, look below:
If this is your first or second mini-boss fight look below:

1 - Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. The screens show that the ship is functioning perfectly, and headquarters patches in the control of a remote helmsman. They wait until you have returned to your boarding pod and leave, before steering the ship away.* 2 - Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. As the screens boot up however, dozens of red warnings and errors flash across the screen. It seems like there has been critical damage to the ship in multiple places. Your team is instructed to leave the small black boxes containing deadly explosives in key positions on your return path to the exit. 3- The ship refuses to power on, even after you follow headquarters instructions to make sure they are plugged in, and hitting ctrl-alt-del. "Keeruu--rrRutaca!" Vremea exlaimed, a little startled. "You're, aha, l-looking a little worse for wear..." She murmured, shuffling over toward the younger troll and putting a hand on her shoulder. She didn't allow the hand to lift, instead focusing pretty strongly on her and managing to heal her up for a good amount. She then whipped out her weapon again, prepared to fight.

Good, looks like every troll is alright. Eilidh sighed with relief, turning to see... ANOTHER BOSS CREATURE. WHAT THE HAY!? This was JUST as bad as the last ship! Sure, they hadn't encountered a million zombie jerks but two bosses already?! Another... boss for her to fail at helping with... Why was she so useless?

4 damage Boss: 14/25 Advance 4
Chiara tried to be more stealthy here. She slipped behind the monster and yelled as she made a slash to its back. Hopefully the act would also distract the thing. Bringing its attention to her meant it would hopefully ignore the rest of the party. It was good, sure, to distract its attacks, but there was nothing she could do for the damage they would take just from getting close to the noxious thing.
Rutaca Spuode (Keionx Rutace) Kei's alertness went up twentyfold - she could feel Vremea's power dancing through her, energizing her, restoring her, glowing so warmly... She was grateful, but... wasn't this a risk? Woudn't this potentially expose her powers? She as fine, truly, but...
Well, it was done anyway. Vremea knew what she was doing - she always did. She was utterly glorious like that -- Kei just had to trust in her.
"Thank you for th... your concern!" she said, being as grateful as possible - as if the concern itself was the pick-me up, and not the, ah, actual powers behind it. "But I am fine..." she inclined her head in a bow, hiding - momentarily - a real, happy smile. "Truly! Tis... its just a few scratches and bruises, all will be well!"

She rolled her shoulders again, ready to lunge. Thankfully they were only zombified gerbils-- She didn't feel guilty hurting them. Seeing them did give her memories of her own gerbils, however. Her own... innocence. Vremea pursed her lips and slashed.

Boss dead Advance 4
Chiara grinned. She could see the thing just barely hanging on. It was time, time to kill! It was not near as good a feeling as when killing another troll, but it still made her feel strong. Killing a troll tho? That gave her a sense of power that killing a monster just could not compete with. The monster was mindless, trolls? Oh they had thinkpans, and they had the sweet taste of fear to boot.

Found a door Advance 5
It was kind of a relief to find a door. The hallways were intimidating in their seemingly endless curves and turns. At least with a door it meant that there was an end, a point of change, a point of progress. The door was a symbol that they might just be lucky enough to have found the control room and be free from the mission. Free to pretend the world was fine and great while cuddled away in recuperacoons.

Trapped and Locked Advance 5
It was such a relief to find a door, and then such a letdown to find it locked, and, potentially, trapped. The traps were always there, waiting, wanting to hurt the poor trolls who were just trying to do their jobs. It was a battle, really, of strength. Open the door, risk damage of a multitude of kinds, but also the chance of finding the control room, and thus freedom.
