Leeroi saw red. Whatever instinct kicked in to help him avoid Kursha's fire, it did not subside in the favor of standing down. No, Kursha issued a challenge, and it was not one Leeroi would stand for. So when Kursha started to run away, the blueblood wasn't having any of it.
"WHAT THE ******** IS YOUR DAMAGE?" Leeroi screeched, nearly vibrating in anger. In a short moment, he was charging at the greenblood. He threw all of his weight into a punch with his robot arm, aiming for Kursha's back. Taking a step back, the blueblood watched his commander with a snarl.
"What the ******** do you even want from me?" He said, voice bitter and low. His hands were still balled into fists, ready to strike again.

While struggling to scramble to her feet, she staggered backwards slightly and attempted to balance herself with the wall. Her whole body flared up as leveled her gaze with the greenblood.
"Captain! Captain!" She called after him, her legs began to move as swift as her thoughts. He continued down the corridor towards what appeared to be the control room quicker than she. "Kursha!" Her frustration strained her voice.
It was then that Leeroi flew past her like a freight train. As the ship's power kicked on and all the flashing red lights blinked in slow motion, Leeroi's attack in front of her had her falter slightly, and then rush two-fold with her instincts to protect.
"DON'T TOUCH HIM!" Elidae shrieked, sprinting toward them. She skidded to a halt and propelled herself between Leeroi and Kursha, not caring if Leeroi's fists make contact with her by accident. Staring Leeroi down as she panted, she remained resolute as she shielded her moirail.
"I am ordering you to stand down, soldier!"Quote: 2 - Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. As the screens boot up however, dozens of red warnings and errors flash across the screen. It seems like there has been critical damage to the ship in multiple places. Your team is instructed to leave the small black boxes containing deadly explosives in key positions on your return path to the exit.

Leeroi leaned back, there was no hint of remorse in his eyes. He watched Elidae with a cold expression, unwavering.
Then, he squinted. It was so small of a movement one might not have even noticed. His eyes flickered up to Kursha again, and back down to Elidae. They flickered between the two again. Then, Leeroi remembered. Leeroi understood.
The lash out at the Queen's party. The fact that Kursha had brought them both under his wing. The reason Elidae was here now. Elidae was always there. This was all because of her.
"It's her." The thought trickled out of Leeroi's mouth as soon as he made the realization. His shoulders raised, and he laughed. "You're a petty piece of ******** work, Vidari." He laughed again, teeth still bared.

[+] Captain Kursha Vidari Kursha heard the thudding of rapid, heavy footsteps, before a fist took him in the square of his back. All the breath went out of him. He toppled forward and crashed face first into the floor. For a moment he lay prone on the ground, stunned and winded. His mouth opened as he struggled to refill his lungs. Then from behind him Elidae screamed. Kursha managed to flip himself onto his side to look back over his shoulder. Elidae stood between him and Leeroi, tense and braced to fight as she faced off the blueblood. Kursha could do nothing but stare, expression uncomprehending. He could not believe his lookstubs. Elidae protecting him; the thought had never occurred to him before. His mind remained blank, even as he tried to process the scene before him. Leeroi was quicker on the uptake. While the blueblood exchanged looks between himself and Elidae, Kursha felt the tension fade from his gut. Air seeped into his lungs. He pushed himself to his feet, ignoring the dull throb of pain from his spinal column. He could not help but bristle at Leeroi’s words. Something in his tone made him uneasy, like a part of him and been laid open and exposed. “Petty?” Kursha echoed, mouth quirking in a sneer. He stepped to stand in line with Elidae. “I’d say I’m pretty damn benevolent considering your little stunt just now. That more than qualifies you for a write-up if not a dishonourable discharge. Consider this your first and only warning.”He turned to Elidae, still poised for action. At the sight of her, he remembered his own tangled up emotions, but it was neither the time nor the place. “Thank you, Sergeant. If you could get the control panel.”

The sight of Leeroi looming in front of her had the yellowblood caught in a storm of emotions. He only stood a few inches taller than her, but his bulk and intimidating aura created an illusion that she was much smaller, much more feeble than she thought herself to be, and he could easily destroy her. Despite her steadfast stance and holding his gaze, Elidae inwardly wilted in fear. Hemera was right. Eridia was right, sweeps ago. Worst of all- Leeroi remained remorseless.
The sharp, prickling sensation of tears ready to release as Leeroi's laugh echoed in the room. She opened her mouth to protest, but no words came. Her? Confusion set in. As she felt Kursha's presence to her side, she looked to him, imploring for an answer, but as well had a more difficult time sorting through her feelings. As relieved as she was that he seemed okay, she still felt a pang of frustration.
"Yes, sir." After throwing up a salute, she briskly turned away and addressed the ship's control panel. Giving them a final look from behind her shoulder, we went to radio in HQ.
"We need to set out the explosives." She finally said, though only to herself. Looking to Hifumi, Elidae paused and her face twitched and fell into embarrassment.
