2. Student gets a fossil corresponding to the number rolled.
3. Student makes an educated guess about what kind of animal the fossil could have belonged to.
4. Post a small RP response about how the student feels about the assignment.
5. Must be at least 150 words total

What Is It?:
When he was handed the picture of the fossil he decided first thing was to make the obvious notes on it. The first thing he noticed was it looked to be either a tooth or a claw considering the shape of the object. Furthermore as he looked at the size and curve of the claw or tooth he would also put a good guess in that it belonged to a carnivore. Maybe it was a bottom tooth and the rest was part of a jaw. However the bone connected to the claw or tooth didn’t really have all the qualities of a tooth. So was it a claw. Perhaps of a prehistoric cat. It did remind him of some cat claws. However that also brought back the tooth aspect again. He had seen a feline tooth still with its root that kind of looked like this. Examining it a bit more he was going to go with toothof a carnivore most likely feline.
Response:Vanna was mostly in the university for cover so that people wouldn’t be too suspecting of what he really did. However he also did have a passion for history and it drew him to want at least a degree in it, just in case he was ever overthrown and some how survived the encounter or maybe he just wanted proof he was smart enough no matter what his background. Still point was he was taking history classes, even if it was the study of ancient animals. It was fascinating to see the process and as he struggled between how he wanted to identify this he had new respect. Sure testing today could help narrow what species it was down but still there was a bit of guesswork still involved. It had been a fun exercise and he liked using his analysing skills for pleasant things. Would be more pleasant if he could just come to a consensus.
