"Better than that. My room is upgraded from the standard full hunter dorms." He decided not to mention part of it was because Lawr had been living with him.
"A majestic sorcerous queen needs to be treated well."

He made a low whistling sound as they climbed the stairs, Nash pushing open the door onto the second floor. His own dorm was sadly lacking in almost everything; and he had yet to see how a full hunter lived in terms of amenities.
Nash gestured for Melvin to leave, a grin touching his face. He deliberately flipped the cape a little
"Is that what I am now?"

"If you want to put me to sleep only to kiss me awake, then I welcome a spell to put me under."
He held the door and moved down to his room. He didn't have direct neighbors so it was relatively quiet. Unlocking the door, he held it open to let Nash in.
The room was spacious, furnished with odds and ends of furniture with a preference for natural woods and comfort. The colors tended to be creams or various blues. A desk with paperwork and runic tools was set out and a tv was hung before a couch. A California King bed was off in the bedroom. Further off was a kitchen and in another room a large bathroom with all the frills of someone who loved his time in a bath or shower.
"Do you want anything to drink?" He asked.

He snorted, but stepped into the room, dragging the cape along with him. Melvin's place was expansive and welcoming, everything coolly and neatly organized, which made sense, considering who the room belonged to. Nash let his gaze sweep over everything, brows still raised; he gave another low whistle.
"Damn. I really gotta get promoted soon."
Nash took a few curious steps towards the kitchen, peering around.
"Sure. Anything will do."

"I paid to upgrade it from the standard full hunter dorm. The tiles in the bathroom and kitchen were nicer but the horsemen destroyed a lot of the original design so I have to remodel a lot again."
Melvin moved into the kitchen and paused as he looked at the open window he left over for visitations. Upset, he went over and shut the window before locking it.
In the kitchen he put in a pot of decaf coffee before looking out. "Feel free to poke around or you can take a shower or bath. I don't mind. I can help you out of that costume if you want." He joked.

Nash really, really wanted a bigger room. Not that he had anything to decorate with at all, but still; it would be nice to have more open space, more room to stretch his legs, more room to just - breathe. He could only do so much in such a tiny space.
He dropped his cape over the back of a chair and padded into the kitchen after Melvin, turning to lean against the counter beside him, arms folded across his chest. A small smile tugged at his lips.
"I mean," he said blithely. "If you wanted to help, I wouldn't object."

He set the machine and leaned over, moving to pick him up. "Well I certainly can't object to that." He turned to head to the bathroom, feeling far better than he had at the bar.
Despite the chaos, Nash was still her. Despute the upset, Nash was still here. He wasn't here for cash. Was he here to fix him - like Lawr? Or just for fun? When would he tire of the flavor of him then?
He knew they met up for fun. He knew Nash didn't want drama. But he still wanted to hold on despite telling himself he should be the same way now. That he would only wind up hurt and disappointed. But he wanted good things in his life and Nash felt like a good thing.
He just worried what Nash would think if he told him. That he wanted to hold on.
