Another thing! It had to be her lucky day, though she was getting no closer to her destination. Tethys slipped on the fearsome mask. Not like her father's heads on his shoulders, but still an arresting visage.

So eager was Tethys to get moving that she failed to spot the coral in front of her, and banged her black hoof against the reef.

Finally managing to move in the right direction, or so she guessed, Nicor spotted an alter. She moved towards it briefly when something sounded behind her that made even her own wild tentacles stand on end. Deciding she had enough fun she began to push her way back to the top and get the heck out of these underwater caves.

Coda glanced around the cave system before entering. She wasn't sure what to expect once inside the darkened interior. Conserving her breath wasn't that easy but she shivered as an ominous feeling settled over her. In the distance something cast off more shadows and the mare strained her sight to see a strange flat rock surface. Something about it sent warning bells going off in her head and smartly she began to put more distance between herself and the altar. For that is what she had surely found. Something rustled further into the darkness and with due haste Coda found herself rushing towards the surface like a rocket. No way was she sticking around.
"6 - You spy the sacrificial altar! *shudder* You think you've gone far enough as you start to hear something spooky, much deeper inside. +10 Score + Adventure Complete!"

Tethys was coming back from her breath when she spotted something. A shark? She wasn't sure, and a bit out of her depth, so to speak, so she dodged, warily.
