"Whatever you say, Grand-père," age read right back as she pushed away from the wall, falling into step with him easily as his arm slung around her hips. Steps syncing up as they walked down the dim hall towards the stairs. Honestly, a nap sounded wonderful. She was tired, from the battle, the swim, and everything that had come after. As much as she would have loved a break in her unwilling celibacy, she wasn't likely going to push that hard to break it.
Yet.
The thoughts flowed like water through her mind, tangling and twisting as she mused to herself, unconcerned with his ability to hear them. It wasn't as if he wasn't already aware.
As they reached the first floor she'd pause fairly shortly down that hall, laying a hand on the door to room 111. "This is me. When you're all clean just let yourself." Who knew how quickly he showered, or not.
Could share a shower..., and her mind provided a teasing visual, but she didn't voice the suggestion. "I just need to grab clothes." Or walk briskly down the hall in damn near the buff.
Again.
