Noticing Keionx was never difficult, not really. The greeting was for her, that helped, but there was no way Athera would've missed the bold, unapologetic voice. At least she bothered to swallow her bite of cookie before speaking this time.
"Hi!!" Her own hello was just as enthusiastic as she waved with her cookie-hand. Jostling the punch too much would've spilled it all over again.
"I'm good. I've got snacks." For whatever reason, Athera seemed proud of the fact. "I'm gonna pick a seat soon," she continued, this time looking at Eyzaak, "I'll sit wherever!"

"There's a difference between borrowing and taking, Aprife." Muerte rolled his eyes, so obvious! Thankfully (or not so thankfully depending on who you asked), Rasali was there to further diffuse an already settling situation. Had Muerte been born with a sense of humor, he might find tormenting Stryke funny too, but the thing was he didn't even see it as tormenting so much as a... facet of life? Ordinary happenstance? Whatever.
Regardless, the smile had dropped and he seemed to be slipping back into normalcy. Actually, how the hell had he missed the cookie set up? Rather than greet Rasali he seemed fixated on the fact that there were sweets involved and he had totally missed them. Aprife was right. He was distracted.
"Besides, nothing was ever wrong." Of course it wasn't. He turned to Rasali again, "Greetings, but if you'll excuse me, I have some important duties to attend to—but fear not! This time he turned to Aprife, "—I will return. You should take a seat before you accidentally wander off somewhere again Invasi."
Cookies come to Perist.

Voscil relaxed as he sat down beside her, amused by the space the other took up. He had always been larger than her, both in size and overall bulk. She didn't mind, they were just different. "I'll get us some snacks in a moment if you want." For once she didn't want to rush around...she enjoyed the fact he was calm, if not happy. He usually was always so stressed it seemed lately...hopefully, this meeting would bring good news.
Letting him rest on her, she laid her head against his shoulder as she sighed gently. Nuzzling his shoulder she opened an eye as he spoke. "I dunno! I hope everyone comes. I'll go zip over to some houses if they don't." She laughed.
Listening to him, Voscil went uncharacteristically quiet. "I...don't know. I don't really want to hurt anyone either...unless I have to keep myself or someone safe." She frowned, pursing his lips in consideration. "Why? Are you worried?" Voscil asked giving his hand a gentle squeeze..unaware of just how serious things had been in regards to Nictor, or the incident in the past with Rasali for the matter.

Stryke normally had more patience than this. What was it about the other troll that absolutely infuriated him? Sighing, more so out of annoyance and a means to control his composure he closed his eyes momentarily. He had better calm down before he embarrassed himself further.
"don't...worry about it." He lied, not as smoothly as he would have preferred but he was trying. "yesss. everything is fine." If it had just been he and the greenblood he might have said otherwise. Especially as he could tell Aprife was trying his very best not to laugh. Worse yet Meutre seemed pleased as well. He was tempted to groan in dismay were it not for Rasali's arrival. A smile lined his expression as he greeted her with a wave. "oh, hey rasali!" Mmm. She had cookies. His eyes widened as he watched were Meutre was going...oh there were tons on the table. Her attempt to shield him from wayward cookie crumbs was highly appreciated, as he found himself chuckling.
"of courssse. go ahead." Stryke welcomed her company as if he hadn't just thrown a minor tantrum but mere moments ago. "...those look good." He considered getting up..only he preferred the greenblood be done with his gathering run before doing as such.

That Rasali picked now to show up was a blessing in disguise. The situation had finished escalating, of course, but even Aprife felt something close to apologetic for almost laughing about it. This was Stryke's first rodeo in the hot seat and it was obvious he'd been stressed enough about that. Ah well. It was still funny.
"Rasali, hey. Good to see you." She was always refreshing, honestly. Aprife appreciated a troll with a good mood. "I guess I'll be joining you, then. Wouldn't want to make the good doctor upset." Picking up his file folder, he finally took the seat he'd claimed earlier.
After all, wandering off had never been in the plans, but heaven forbid he took a step sideways and fell right off Muerte's radar. It was something he'd definitely hear about later if he kept it up, so better to just settle in.

It had been quiet. Every trek from Busthind to the swamp since Leeroi's attack on her hive had been quiet, and filled with shame. Fighting, and running. She had no words for her lusus any more. Aerona was sure she suspected something, but Sophitia wouldn't sell her out. The least she could do was clean up hive and move out. So, Aerona had kept to herself. She'd learned time and time again that acting out was a fool's way to die. It was a new chapter, and the cloying PSA humming over tinny New Hemisect speakers was enough to drive her into the swamps, if nothing else than to escape the noise. She slid into the Town Hall and sat down, giving small nods and pursed smiles to those who made eye contact with her. everyone!! she's here and she's filled with fear

Akkira had been careful, but that didn't mean she wasn't paranoid as hell that someone had followed her to the given location. She Kept turning her head this way and that to make sure that it was only ghosts reporting to her and not the sounds of footsteps. She was a bit more calm once she entered the building but still on edge. She gripped the hilt of her sword so tightly her knuckles changed color. She didn't make too much effort to interact with anyone just yet, She wanted to make sure this location was super secure. She sent some of her ghost friends to go secure the boarder as best they could and waited. Waited to know if something or someone had followed her from Chittentown. Akkira let out a sigh and rolled her shoulders. Quote: Akkira is open for interaction biggrin

"Ugh, I wish I'd brought a drink." A sigh escaped.
His back ached. Stretching his arms out gave a little relief but not enough. Cerpin pushed through the door to the meeting room, yawning as he did so. He'd been up through the morning a lot lately with so much to do. Thankfully it felt a lot easier with Tevini at his side again but still, he was tired. He nodded his head at Caiden as they passed the boy.
"Good to see ya, Cai." It honestly was. He had almost half expected to find the brownblood fighting another baby bot the next time he saw him again. He cracked a smile at the image in his mind before looking around the room for a seat. He waved at hand at Byakko, blowing a kiss at her just for the hell of seeing what kind of reaction he'd get before parking his a** in a chair.
"You gonna do your usual thing and steal all the food, Vee? If so, smuggle me at least one, okay?" Slouching in his seat, the usually social Cerpin seemed much more chill tonight.

Selune Selune timidly entered the meeting room, a basket in her arms. Her mother and herself had made more cookies, just in case they ran out, you never know. She put the basket of cookies on the back table, and found a spot in the corner to sit.

Keionx RutaceOh, and there was a blueblood child there too. She'd seen him around. Either way, she waved back with cheerful enthusiasm. "Good, tis good!" she said, pleased. It appeared though that Athera was about to take her seat, and those cookies were calling her. She turned her attention to the blueblood. "What ist thy name? I don't believe we hath met...?"

Etsali slipped in with a grin already spread across her face. It wasn't so often she got to see all of her friends in the rebellion altogether, after all, and there were big things in the works to boot. She was excited to see what the big plan was, and twice as excited to see how happy Ephias and Tevini and Cerpin would be. Of everyone she knew, they were the only ones who'd ever really expressed so much interest in space before it had become a really possible thing again.
She waved brightly at everyone she knew well and liked, avoided any mutant children on her way to a seat as naturally as possible (because respecting Byakko still didn't make that any less weird), and finally claimed a chair all for herself to wait and see what came next.

"I don't know, it looks kind of..." Tevini bit her lip at the sight of the meager food offerings. Cookies and punch were fine, it just didn't seem right to stash it all away when it was the only refreshment on display. She didn't want the rest of the hall to get angry with her.
"Maybe just a few." Tevini rose from her seat beside Cerpin and made her way over to the table. She poured two drinks and then picked up a small plate of cookies. When the redblood reached to pick up the two drinks she struggled with the logistics of how to carry it all. Attempting to make her way back to her seat in the crowded rows, Tevini wobbled along.
Splash!
Tripping over a chair foot, the redblood managed to hang onto the food and one cup, but the other one went tumbling down and spilled. Horrified, the girl thrust the edible items into Cerpin's hands and scrambled with a hankerchief to apologize to the occupant she had spilled on.
"I'm so sorry! Here I-zyaak?"leon_a_darkangel" nyehehe, you can decide if it actually got him or just his shoes, or whatever XD

"Yeah. Fair enough I guess." He mused at Athera's returned comment. He wasn't even sure who he was sitting by yet. Not everyone was here yet after all.
Eyzaak placed a hand on his hip as he looked Keionx over. She had a curious way of speaking. He wasn't sure he'd ever heard anything like it. "Me? My names Eyzaak." The blueblood announced proudly as he gave his own chest a light thud as if to designate himself more clearly. "What about you?" He began to ask before his focus on the current situation was ripped away.
Before he could really comment further..he felt something wet splash his face. Blinking rapidly the child yelped in surprise as he flailed in dismay. What was going on?! Why did he now smell like some of that delicious punch? "WAAAAHHHH!" He protested as he wiped the juice off his face.
Laughing he looked to the redblood who had caused it.
"Yoooo. What's that for?" He chuckled as he stuck his tongue out at the other, as he hoisted the cup up....tempted to fling it at her. Being she rushed at him with a handkerchief he stuck his tongue out instead. "Eh. It's fine." He mentioned to the older girl as he lightly waved his hand. "You okay Tev?" He asked, giving her arm a pointed little poke. She sure had gotten tall...damn when was he going to get a growth spurt of his own?!

"Ahhh?" Poe glanced back at Wander, tilting his head. He gave her hand a squeeze, rubbing his thumb idly over her knuckles. She seemed a bit quieter than... usual, which was saying something considering how quiet she was in general. Was she feeling alright? Poe smiled at Eyzaak, giving a quick wave with his free hand, but the teen decided maybe he... didn't want to talk to the larger group of trolls right now. Maybe that was what was bothering her, it sometimes overwhelmed Poe when he wasn't feeling good. "Wander, are you..." he paused, faltering, voice low with concern. "You okay?"When Sonnie arrived, he gestured to the chair next to them, glad to see another face he was familiar with, another younger member of the Initiative. More people he wanted to protect and help. "Sonnie, wow, hey. Almost didn't see you hop in here," he said with a grin.

Autumn flounced into the council room with all the theatricality of a true diva, pausing in the door frame after she had made her entrance, and sighing loudly at the general shoddy state of affairs. Shoddy relatively speaking at least. The yellowblood wore a sleek new outfit, all black with a sheen like obsidian, and remarkably high heels. Even more remarkable was how clean they were. Somehow she had managed it so that there was not so much as a smudge of dirt on them. Fluttering beside her, Caterpal had been coaxed into wearing a suit tailored just to his measurements. Even so, he seemed about ready to burst out at the seams. She bypassed the snack table, where chaos had broken out. Predictably Eyzaak seemed to be in the middle of it. Athera had been roped into the mess too it looked like. Too bad. She would have liked to talk with her. Instead, she made a beeline for Cerpin, and bounced into the chair beside him, claiming Tevini's former spot. “Good evening~!” she said, greeting the purpleblood warmly. “This seat wasn't taken, was it?” She asked, mischief in her eyes. It was no secret that the redblood and purpleblood stuck together like glue.
