Shrill X watched after the mouthy Mer with her eyes narrowed. “That’s the point, idiot!” She called after her, just to get the last word, because nobody would ever say Shrill X liked to act her age. She still had half a mind to confiscate the video camera but the Mer was already moving away and Shrill X’s headache had settled in quite powerfully. All the loudness that came with children not the best remedy for a hangover. She was rubbing at her cheek with a hoof when the dark eyed filly stopped by for a chat and Shrill X stared down at her, only partially listening for the first few seconds. “Coolio-o,” she said, buying time as the words filtered through slowly. When they did, she didn’t respond to anything that had been said and instead announced, “I like you. You’re cool.”Looking around, she cast a critical eye on the group, still muddling through the setup. A mostly useless lot. At least the snack table was ready to go and, “oh s**t, you did that? Are those cat napkins? You did cat napkins. Yeah, you’re good to go. Look, between you and me, anything that they do, is something I don’t have to do later. So thanks.” She yawned and scratched her chin, eyeing the young filly approvingly. “Good job with the tough love. Everyone spends too much time pussyfooting around.” She grinned. “When you’re big and legal, I’ll show you the party side of a charity party.”With her praise given, she lazily saluted Catwalk, dismissing her from action. “Mission completed, lieutenant!”With one task complete and a kid army working on the rest, Shrill X stood up higher, her voice lifting easily into a shout that echoed throughout the warehouse, “LISTEN UP. YOU’VE GOT FIFTY MINUTES OR SOMETHING LEFT. I’LL BE IN THE CORNER. DON’T BOTHER ME. AND IF ANYONE SEES THE SPARKLY MER TURN THE CAMERA ON YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO KICK HER a**. THANKS KIDS.”
Then she sauntered off to her fold out chair and got comfortable, legs stretched out and eyes instantly drooping closed. Quote: Shrill X is now taking a nap! For the sake of brevity and so we don't drag the RP for too long, she will wake up on Friday 13th and shoo everyone out of the building!

Catwalk would have laughed, but such an expression was unbecoming in front of those who didn't deserve it (current company excluded), so instead, she simply flickered the barest hint of a smile. " Glad to help, you're pretty cool for an adult and all. I'll hold you to that offer, Birdy." She had absolutely no idea what the mare meant, but she supposed it had to do with the afterparties. She returned the lazy salute, taking the compliments like her very own merit badge, and turned off to let her command the rest of the room. She didn't look backwards as she slipped out.

Cossi just laughed hysterically as she just got called an idiot and stuck out a tongue at Shrill X. If she didn't have to perform some sort of kindness today, she totally would've asked the old pony to show her around town to see what ruckus they could cause. "Nice try giving the others a chance to kick my a** just 'cause you can't!" She eyed Shrill as she started to...sleep... "Ok! Have a nice nap!" and then she was off to mingle with what little babs were left in the massive warehouse. Ruriska love your phony. she so cool *0* Cossi also looked back at the earthling phony bab and smiled. "As you can see, that one, " she pointed at the now sleeping Shrill X, "is already in dream land. She never intended to help out with this charity thing she made up. She probably needed a place to sleep from partying so much." Her eyes sparkled as she heard that the filly could bake when she was talking back to Hoax. The merbab made note to talk to her when this silly fake charity thing is all over. She'd love to try some fresh cake. The sparkle bab looked at Hoax and chanted "Cake cake cake." Her attention now shifted to the flying orange one. She looked her up and down and waved and sparkled. "We're quite magical, " she told Thunder Bird as she gave a wink at Hoax, "but nothing is as cool as being born with wings!"She hated to admit but she could only imagine what it's like to be able to fly. "Alright alright, i won't pop those balloons. Can i like, record myself real quick before that shouty lady wakes up?" she asked, pointed a hoof to sleeping Shrill X in the corner. " I swear i'd be a quick ten seconds. Then i am all yours to help out with this 'charity' thing." She took a flat purple balloon, stretched it, blew into it, filled it with warm air, and then tied a knot in the end. "Easy peasy."Pointing at her camera she asked politely, "pleaaaaase?"

"Don't ask us, ask Lieutenant Catty!" Thunder Bird gestured towards Catwalk. "If you're going to use a camera, use it to gather evidence in case this all turns out to be a total sham." As Thunder Bird prepped the balloons, she placed them in a bag so they wouldn't escape as easily. She was disappointed there wasn't any helium. Or was there...? Was there anything else stashed away that they didn't know about. Was it just a pile of supplies? "You know, aren't parties usually given some kind of sign or lettering or something? Like even a 'Happy Birthday' banner? And giant charity things have huge banners like 'Annual Old Phony's Convention '17!' Where are the signs and banners for this thing?"

With the chastizing from the pink earth filly, if Hoax wasn't such a dark color his face would have burned as bright as her fur. Was that what generosity was suppose to be, giving something like his time just for someone else with less. To Hoax, all he had was his siblings, a pile of garbage they stole, and his own skills. Should he count as one of those kids with less or should he still be helping? Hoax shook his head as he debated it internally, but then that loud lady announced she would take a nap and the other mer spurred him on. A sinful smile crossed his face, "Alright, alright. I guess I can donate some time to help make this the coolest party ever... if it even is a real party. At least it'll be cool. " Hoax glanced back to the other mer, she filled in nicely for a partner in crime. "And then you'll donate some cake to our fill our bellies right?"

"Ooo~ A party sounds nice!" Red Velvet could see herself making food and inviting those who can barely get any crumb to come out and eat and have a good time. She smirked at the black merbaby. "And you can bet you'll have your cake if we pull this off, sweet cheeks." She said all sassy like. Turning to the starry pink merbaby she eyed her camera and thought of an idea. "You are good at video recording right? We can show other phonies what generosity and show them that hard work can pay off and be fun." She held out her hoof. "I'm Red Velvet. What do you say to a generosity party?"

Thunder Bird was nearly done with her part of the job. She flew up and did what she could to attach balloons to various parts of the building. Ceiling supports, pillars, light fixtures... anything that looked like it could use a balloon.

(( shoot i knew i forgot something. sorry.. )) "I thought about that a long time ago, that's why Miss Shrill there gave you all permission to kick my a** if i ever recorded anything that would go against her," she told Thunder Bird, and nodding her head she went to stealthy record whatever is going on with her camera around her neck without holding onto it. "It is pretty lame that these balloons can't float. and yeah. where the heck are the banners? what charity is this? " Cossi understood what kindness meant but never really knew what generosity consisted off. When she heard the little mini lecture from the earthling pony to the boy mer, she too learned something new. "Yeah, let's pretend we're holding a party for somephony special that deserves this, even if this could be all fake," she laughed and still sneakily shut off her camera after having quickly recorded her own face on one of the plates' reflection. "Wanna go turn on that fog machine? I could use some of that for special effects and to escape out of this warehouse faster. like when Miss Shrill wakes up to try and take away my camera, i'll be racing outta here without looking back." She nodded at Red Velvet. "You had me at cake, but... i will record what you need for other phonies to know what generosity really means..." she shifted nervously on her hoverboard, " but at the first sign of Miss Shrill waking up, i will be the first one booking out of here! i'd hate to have someone smash and break my camera."Holding out a hoof, she introduced herself. "I'm Cossi, Cosmic Stream but please keep my real name a secret," she told them and winked. Cossi grabbed a few crayons and poster papers and scribbled "Congratulations!" - "Happy Birthday!" - "Surprise!" - and "Thank you for coming!" signs since she had no idea what the occasion is for.

Red Velvet took the merbaby's hoof and shook on it. "Totally understand. That stuff doesnt come cheap. But we'll take what we can get." She leaned in to whisper. "Nice to meet you, Cossi." She winked. As soon as she let go, she looked up at Thunder Bird. "I think they're great! But..." she turned to the one referred to Catwalk. "I'll defer to you."

Cossi grinned at Velvet. "You think we're almost done here?" she asked, secretly taping a few seconds here and there with her camera and hiding it. "I am sure i'm quite done with his place. "After neatly placing the posters in a pile, she was about ready to go. She didn't want to be inside this warehouse any longer.

"I think we are!" Velvet said as she looked around the place. The place was decked out and ready for those phonies down on their luck to come fill the place up. Sliding a piece of Red Vel towards the black merbaby. "We are ready to open for the party. Do you have a better understanding of generosity now since helping out?"

"Oh hellz yes." Hoax's eyes light up as Cossi egged him on to go for the smoke machine. The machine itself wasn't that big, but at the same time Hoax wasn't big enough to lift it too high up on his own, nor could he actually fly up to attach it to the ceiling. He did the best he could however and shifted it up onto a higher platform, bit by bit. Turning on the fog machine as high as he was able to, a rolling cloud of mist decended and sprawled across the floor. "Not quiet, what I imagined, but it'll do for some cover. Real parties are all about atmosphere. So, I guess it'll be fun time for anyphony who come."

She snorted awake, stretching and cracking one eye open to see the fog rolling across the floor. They’d done a surprisingly good job. The food table was set, the decorations were up, balloons were ballooning. It was a suitable enough setup and she hadn’t had to do a thing. Shrill X pushed herself awkwardly out of the chair, staggering a few steps forward as her headache reminded her that it hadn’t gone anywhere and she really should get some aspirin. That didn’t stop her voice from lifting in a shout that reached from one corner of the warehouse to the other. “GREAT JOB KIDS. GOOD CHARITY WORK. TIME IS UP. GET OUT!” Any of them that didn’t scatter immediately, she hustled towards the door. --- Later that night, when her guests arrived for her HELLA RAD SUPER AWESOME FUN TIME PARTY, she aggressively demanded an entrance fee, “charity money for hungry animals,” she informed them while waving a jar under their noses. Nobody could say she wasn’t true to her word now. Quote: Oh look what I forgot to do lmao.
