Patrick Lockheart - Second Year ~ Exited Patrick and Henry's Room, Entering Marketplace/Bakery ~ Patrick couldn't see just one delicacy on the parchment that drew his attention, there was a good variety and having explored little in the way of such, he was at a loss for what to choose...
Obviously, if money wasn't an issue and he was capable of sampling a little of everything, he might just have chosen to try, but for the time being - and with many opportunities to return over the coming months, Rick decided to see if the female had anything 'Special' to offer, hoping to save the list for later reading - and plans.
"I must admit, they do look enticing," Rick would nod, "I'll have one of those tarts too, please...and maybe a cheesecake?" he wasn't sure if they ran on what was available on the day, but if he had to start somewhere, why not jump right in? "Oh and a glass of milk, gotta wash it down with something eh?" He would have asked for water, but knew sometimes Milk complimented the sweet flavour of desserts.
At this point, he would look briefly over his shoulder, searching the exterior of the bakery for where he'd left Branwen to make sure she was still there before turning back with a smile, Profile Location: The Bakery Appearance: Patrick's jacket With: Branwen, Henry Feeling: Excited, Curious, Glad to be out, OoC

Roselyn de la Croix
"Have some bread" "You may certainly have a tart, although it may take some time prepare the tea. That is not something I typically prepare unless someone asks for it and even then I can't promise you that it will be made since it is not easy to acquire tea leaves, much less acquire tea leaves to suit everyone's tastes. Is there a certain tea that you desire?"It is true with what Roselyn said. Tea isn't something that sells well in her bakery, and it is already expensive to purchase tea leaves. Not only does she keep little in stock, but she doesn't prepare them in the morning and leave it sitting. She have to brew the tea fresh and hope her guests have enough time and patience to wait for their tea to be made. In the meantime he can enjoy a strawberry tart, but he may end up waiting for the tea so he can have something to drink. She made her way around the counter, placed some parchment on the counter, grabbed a slice of tart and placed it on the parchment. Then she wrapped it neatly and tied it with string before handing it off to Henry. The boy who came with Henry asked for a tart as well and a slice of cheesecake. She hopes that he won't be disappointed when she tells him that she doesn't have any cheesecake available today. It was a special she made a few days ago that sold surprisingly well, so there may be another day where she will make it again. She repeated the process of wrapping up the second slice of tart and gave it to boy named Patrick before retreating to the back of the bakery to get him milk from one of the cold buckets she has. Well, it used to be ice cold, but not so much now since much time has gone by. Still, the milk ought to be cool enough to be somewhat refreshing. She poured the milk into a tar-coated tankard, return to Patrick, and gave it to him."Unfortunately I don't have any cheesecake available right now. Like the tea, its not something I make often, although its because I usually have it as a special on certain days. However, I have been thinking about making it a regular menu item should enough people be interested in. If you still need something else that is sweet, I still have cookies."❀ ✿ι αм:[Roselyn de la Croix]❀ ✿мσηєу:[None on her person]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ∂σιηg:[Serving her guests]❀ ✿ωнєяє αм ι:[Bakery]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ωєαяιηg:[Pretty]❀ ✿мαякιиgѕ:[N/A]❀ ✿ςσи∂ιтισи:[Healthy]❀ ✿αςςєит:[Thats my voice]❀ ✿OOC: []

Patrick Lockheart - Second Year ~ Exited Patrick and Henry's Room, Entering Marketplace/Bakery ~ Patrick had to admit he was a little disappointed there was no Cheesecake - his Aunt used to make a real good one and he'd hoped to taste it again, but he understood it was a 'Special' and so nodded, accepting the Strawberry Tart and Milk before deciding the cookies were always a good alternative, "I can always share them with Bran," he thumbed back towards the bird who was perched patiently on the back of one of the chairs outside, "Didn't know how people would be if I let her come in on my shoulder, so decided it best to leave her outside."
Almost as though she knew he was talking about her, the White Raven would give her wings an impatient flap before settling down again.
"Cookies sound good to me," he nodded, "I can always enjoy them when I get back to the Academy anyway," he beamed, glancing towards Henry to see if he was planning on ordering anything else to drink, Profile Location: The Bakery Appearance: Patrick's jacket With: Branwen, Henry Feeling: Excited, Curious, Glad to be out, OoC

"Have some bread" "Hmm. Like I told your friend, I have cookies that ought to satisfy more of your sweet tooth. Perhaps you may be interested in challah bread, something I consider to be sweet and filling. I also have enough dough leftover to make crispels. They are fried thin circles of dough basted in honey."Henry decided not to wait for the tea, so all he would receive is the strawberry tart. His companion Patrick decided that he would get cookies to share with someone named Bran. It turned out Bran is a bird, so Roselyn decided that oatmeal cookies were the best choice to make. She wrapped three oatmeal cookies in parchment similar to how she did the tart, each cookie being about the size that an average hand can make a circle with their thumbs and index fingers. After handing out the cookies wrapped in parchment to Patrick, she grabbed another sheet of parchment along with a nearby pen and wrote down the costs of everything they ordered today. She made sure to separate the cost of their items so the two boys knew what they had to pay. Alas, she showed them their bill and said to them,"This is the cost of everything the two of you ordered so far. Will that be all for today or is there something else you like?"❀ ✿ι αм:[Roselyn de la Croix]❀ ✿мσηєу:[None on her person]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ∂σιηg:[Serving her guests]❀ ✿ωнєяє αм ι:[Bakery]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ωєαяιηg:[Pretty]❀ ✿мαякιиgѕ:[N/A]❀ ✿ςσи∂ιтισи:[Healthy]❀ ✿αςςєит:[Thats my voice]❀ ✿OOC: []

Patrick Lockheart - Second Year ~ Exited Patrick and Henry's Room, Entering Marketplace/Bakery ~ Patrick would waste little time in taking out the money to pay for the delicacies, the fact they'd been wrapped so nicely was a good help, but he was almost tempted to drink the milk down and save the tart for later.
Hearing the mention of Challah bread piqued his interest, but Rick decided to add that to his list for things to return for. "If you don't mind, I'll wait outside," he was eager to take the cookies outside and see what Branwen thought of them, he would have over the coins as payment, drink down the milk and hand back the flagon before smiling back at Roselyn as he turned to leave.
Once Henry was finished, Rick would collect Branwen and head back towards the Academy

"Have some bread" Roselyn walked over to the section of the bakery where she keeps her bread at. From there she pulled out a small loaf of challah bread and brought it over to the counter, but she didn't place it on there yet. While holding the loaf in one hand, she pulled out some parchment, laid out across the counter and placed the loaf on it before wrapping like she did with al their pastries so far. Then she wrote down the cost of the small loaf of challah bread to Henry's bill on the already written piece of parchment. Both boys paid for what they ordered so far. All that is left is for Henry to pay for the challah bread and that will be all for business today. After Henry paid for the loaf, she smiled pleasantly and said,"Thank you for your patronage. I look forward to seeing you again. Tell your friend he is also welcomed come back. I'll be sure t have cheesecake for him one of these days."❀ ✿ι αм:[Roselyn de la Croix]❀ ✿мσηєу:[None on her person]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ∂σιηg:[Serving her guests]❀ ✿ωнєяє αм ι:[Bakery]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ωєαяιηg:[Pretty]❀ ✿мαякιиgѕ:[N/A]❀ ✿ςσи∂ιтισи:[Healthy]❀ ✿αςςєит:[Thats my voice]❀ ✿OOC: []

Roselyn is excited about today's special that she is serving at her bakery today. It is a bread pudding made with eggs, cream, raisins, dates, & apples. To make sure that the bread pudding is of finest quality, she choose to use white bread as the base. To use that for a special pastry for today may be risky, but the response to her specials have been consistently good, so she feels confident that her guests will be more than delighted to taste what she has to offer with her bread pudding. Of course, she can't not let her other goods suffer since everyone is expecting to get the best bread they can get, and perhaps enjoy some cookies with a few other treats. The bread pudding took a few hours to make between the preparations and cooking, but once the first batch was made available to the public, people were already excited by what they were seeing and immediately began ordering the bread pudding. So far, everyone is loving her bread pudding and she couldn't be any happier. Right now she is taking the time to help out guests and talk with them as they either browse around wondering what to get or are looking to buy something.""❀ ✿ι αм:[Roselyn de la Croix]❀ ✿мσηєу:[None on her person]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ∂σιηg:[Serving her guests]❀ ✿ωнєяє αм ι:[Bakery]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ωєαяιηg:[Winter]❀ ✿мαякιиgѕ:[N/A]❀ ✿ςσи∂ιтισи:[Healthy]❀ ✿αςςєит:[Thats my voice]❀ ✿OOC: []

Today seemed to be somewhat the start of a great day. He seemed pretty happy to start everything off right and not feel groggy and sluggish like he usually would every night of drinking. Of course, he'd usually require to be passed out drunk to deal with the nightmares he'd consistently have from back in the days. Now that he's completely fine, he doesn't have to worry about any of that. Of course, that still was one night. Sun is out, had my tea, don't have to see Ivar's annoying a** anywhere, let alone that knight guy. Today has to be a great day. Nanashi would say to himself, as he would walk by the streets reading his book. He was very interested in the occult. Of course, he had no belief in whether it was real or not, but he did like the stories that each and every individual Yokai, or malevolent spirit contained. As he read his book, his eyes were so fixated on the book, that it seemed weird that he would walk with enough accuracy to not bump into anyone. After a good while, a distinct smell crossed his nose, as he looked to his right. There, he saw the bakery and thought of his bags of snacks and candy that he'd usually buy and eat while in class. Of course, he knew that as a shinobi, having such food that gives off even an ounce of presence was forbidden. But Nanashi wasn't at the temple in Khosbaina anymore. Walking in the store, Nanashi looked around as he passed by the crowds of people. Well that sucked that everyone would be here. As Nanashi watched the public, he noticed that just one woman was tending to everyone. huh.... Busy day, I'm guessing? Nanashi said.

Jesse Randall ~ Bakery ~ It didn't take Jesse half as long to reach the Marketplace in her Fennec Form as she had thought and soon enough, the small Shifter was finding herself weaving between more bodies than she had expected...
"This is no good..." shaking her head the little female realised she needed to either return to her human form, or get somewhere higher... She of course hadn't exactly come too prepared for the cold and so went for her better option.
Remaining in her Fennec Form, Jesse would seek out the means of reaching higher ground - Utilising her Parkour skills, she took a running jump at a pile of nearby barrels, hopping from one to the other before pausing for a moment to seek out her next platform.
Turning, the Fennec Child would sit and cast a glance around the marketplace - Already she could see above a few heads which was good and the smells that hit her at that level were astounding, but there was one scent she was hunting for and that was one she was yet to find... "Need to go a little higher." she muttered to herself, catching sight of a low hanging thatch roof which was just within reach.
From a standing pose, the little Fox would lunge for the rooftop, her claws catching in the thatch and allowing her enough traction to haul herself up higher. She would waste little time in scrabbling her way to the top, working her way along the ridge before finding another rooftop to traverse.
The best scents rose highest and even if she couldn't pluck the scent of the Bakery from the mass that surrounded her, it was her eyes that spotted the sign, the seats out front and of course, the patrons.
Setting her sights on the target, Jesse took a moment to plot her course, then she would set off at speed - using momentum to carry her across rooftops as she made a beeline for the Bakery. Already she could only wonder what was on sale today, her little tummy eager to sample Rosalyn's special - whatever that may be.
Everything was going fantastic, she was soo close, almost practically within reach of the bakery, then suddenly, a board - something she was certain would support her little body - collapsed. She could only give a panicked yelp as she plummeted several feet downwards, startling a gentleman as she landed in his arms, knocking the pile of sacks he was carrying to the ground.
"So Sorry!" leaping from his arms - her long tail lightly brushing his face as she went - the Fennec Child would jump down to the ground and then skitter off around the back of the store... Hiding was always her best option when she'd done something wrong - at least, being so small, it seemed best... After a few minutes, Jesse took on her Human Form and as casually as she could, she moved around the store to the front door - casting a brief glance around for the man she had landed on before slipping inside...

Roselyn looked over to where her bread pudding is on display and noticed that she is running out. She walked over to behind the counter and had one of her employees take her place walking around the store so she can bring out fresh bread pudding. As soon as the last piece of bread pudding on display had been sold, Roselyn brought out the new one, much to relief of her patrons. The line at the counter started to get long, so she walked to the employee who was walking the store for her and had him go back to the counter to help out, which he did. As she walked around once more, two people stood out. One is a boy with not much hair, the other a girl wearing strange clothing, the jacket portion at least. Were they waiting for someone to help them, or are they indecisive about what they want? She approached them casually and smiled warmly before saying,"Welcome. How can I help you today?"❀ ✿ι αм:[Roselyn de la Croix]❀ ✿мσηєу:[None on her person]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ∂σιηg:[Serving her guests]❀ ✿ωнєяє αм ι:[Bakery]❀ ✿ωнαт αм ι ωєαяιηg:[Winter]❀ ✿мαякιиgѕ:[N/A]❀ ✿ςσи∂ιтισи:[Healthy]❀ ✿αςςєит:[Thats my voice]❀ ✿OOC: []

Good news was that the line was getting relatively short. It was soon at that moment that soon Nanashi was next until a girl who was somewhat short and slim had entered in after hearing the sound of someone shouting from a good distance away. It was then that Nanashi was soon asked for what they wanted, but was also mistaken for being with the girl that was next to him. Oh, umm... We're... Sorry, I'll have your special for today. What about you? Nanashi asked the girl. The two were not together, but it seemed that the waitress had mistaken Nanashi and the girl to be together. He had no idea why he chose so, but he decided to help out the girl, even as far as to paying his own gold for her too. Nanashi was always the type to go out of his way to help someone, especially when he's curious about other's issue. It was weird too, since Nanashi would pay for girls he'd be dating. For this one girl, he doesn't even know her, yet he just wants to help. My treat, I'll be paying for the both of us. Nanashi said, getting his gold coins out.
