Victor didn't even let the wizard finish casting his spell before he already worked on his own spell. "Gravity Shield!" He shouted as a mass of condensed gravity rose up around him in a half circle. He couldn't afford anymore damage. He was taking more than he had expected and now that he was stuck here he had to begin playing this a bit smarter. He took this time now as he reached towards the ground letting his hands burn in the fire as he reached them into the dirt. "Uproot!" The ground suddenly began to expand under the dark wizard's feet as the only warning to the destruction that was about to occur. Only a few seconds after the ground exploded upward sending debris in every direction. Luckily Victor still had his shield up and avoided his own spell's backlash.
"I planned on finding you're little hideout at some point. Either way it seems you will lead me right to where I need to go."

OOC: Not totally sure yet how defensive spells work against other spells. I guess since you only cast a one I at least need a one to defend. But I also need to roll another 2 for the second spell. So I guess if I only roll a one then I block the attack and the second spell fails a 2-3 the spell does a little bit of damage and 4 both fully work? Please confirm haha.

The first thing Victor did was look down to see if the spell had vanished from his feet yet, but unfortunately it was still there. He had almost become numb to the pain around his feet now and knew he would have to seek some treatment after this battle for them. For now however he seemed stuck and he would have to keep up his defenses. Luckily the gravity shield that had blocked the spell from before was still standing and he hoped it was good enough to take the next barrage of attacks. It seemed he had the man in a fury now which worked very well for him. This way the man wasn't thinking straight. Plus with the possible concussion Victor believed this battle was just about over. He, however, was not going to begin taking it easy. He saw what this wizard could do and knew he had to stay on his toes.

"So it was you all after all that are responsible for all those incidences around the country. I would also bet it was your guild as well that is responsible for the disappearances that coincide?" he stated as he watched the man begin to cast his next spell. However the shield still stood strong and as the typhoon hit the shield the typhoon dissipated and unfortunately so did his shield. It seemed he would have to find another way to defend if another attack came soon. Maybe fore now, if he countered he could keep the man on the defensive, if only he had his feet free. "Unfortunately I believe your momentum will be short lived. It is only a matter of time before you hit a wall you cannot get through and there you will meet your downfall. You are too short sighted. Even if it has to be me, I will take you all down. I may not be able to beat you all physically, but there are many ways to bring down a guild. Consider this a promise."
Viktor put his hands out to each side and magic circles appeared around them. "Gravity Missile" Similar magic circles appeared over two small boulders that had been broken from the ground from his earlier attack. As he moved his hands the small boulders moved with them. He suddenly brought his hands together in a quick motion and only a second afterwards the boulders lifted about an inch off the ground and began to fly towards the dark wizard, one from the front and another from behind.

OOC: Thanks for the information and Viktor will be free next post then! And yea I noticed that sorta as well from the threads I have been reading. Sorta cool as if it was actually a real anime, like good must prevail! And cool idea with the bulletin! Edit: Totally forgot to add an action(random number) so I had to make a new post, wouldn't let me edit it in.

Viktor glanced over at the man with a look that showed he was more annoyed than he was angry. The man was almost like a child in his mannerisms and philosophies. However the real challenge did lie ahead of him. The higher ups of dark guilds, while having flawed ideologies, were often incredibly brilliant and incredibly strong. He wasn't sure how much he would be able to do alone, but now wasn't the time to face this. The man in front of him was currently his only link to the dark guild that he had been tracking down. He had failed to properly think about what he would choose to do with this man once he had beaten him. A few came to mind, but he guessed he'd deal with that when the time came. For now he had to work on incapacitating him. If at all possible death was out of the question.

Luckily it seemed this last attack on the dark mage had caused the spell to dissipate and therefore release him and Viktor spared no time as he began dashing forward. As the dark mage began his next attack Viktor was quick to notice it and was already moving out of the way before it was even cast. He could see how taxing the spells were becoming and it reminded Viktor to watch his own magic output or else he could find himself on the low end of this battle pretty fast. He had already used black hole and using another such caliber of spell would be out of the question as the magic output would be too great. However, he wouldn't have to worry about much more, at this rate he could almost go the rest of the battle without using any magic and subdue the man. So he simply avoided the typhoon as if it were nothing but a gust of wind and then stopped himself as he glanced at the hopeless mage infront of him. Viktor was never one to scoff or insult an opponent during battle, but he felt he had a roundabout way of getting into the man's head.

He did a fake yawn to purposefully mimic the one the dark mage did himself. "That was how you did it right?" he asked rhetorically as he moved forward. "Your hypocracy isn't very becoming, especially in your situation. I will do with you as I wish when the time comes. I might even decide to drop you off at one of those light guilds you love so much and let them choose what to do with you. I believe there is one nearby..." By now he was within a few feet of the man and took no more time as he drew his foot back, gathering gravity magic around it before he drove it into the ground next to the man. It wasn't meant to make contact as Viktor was trying to keep his target alive, despite casting Black Hole earlier in a time where he was more caught up in the battle to think about what he would do afterwards. The attack was simply meant to shock him and possibly knock him out. While the kick wouldn't physically hit him, the shockwave of the impact on the ground, combined with the debris should do enough damage and hopefully incapacitate him.

OOC: Yay! This will probably be over soon so I will have to think about what to do next haha. Oh btw the ability he used was smash, which is just a basic spell. Probably worked out well I only rolled a 1 since I didn't plan on it being a full force attack anyways haha.

Viktor shrugged at the dark wizard's answer. "Fair enough, I'm sure they can catch a fair price when they turn you in to the magic council, or maybe another light guild. Especially some of the ones who may not be so happy with what you have been doing with their guild members." he stated only barely in time as the man moved forward for a punch. At this point he had a few options. He could choose to dodge and try to attack, or he could take this time to counter. He would take damage, but he could possibly end this. So he took his chances and took the blow head on. It was a bit more than he had originally been prepared for, and he felt the burning as the punch hit him. But he took his chance and grabbed the man's arm and pulled him inwards. "Gravity Paralysis!" He yelled as he did his best to hold onto the dark wizard so the paralysis could take on it's full effect.

OOC: Ok so if I roll a 1 it's only partial paralysis of his arms, a 2 will lead to full paralysis for 2 turns. Meaning: the spell will cause gravity to close his body in and basically keep them stuck in place. Partial will just close in his arms making them unusable.
Also, don't forget to deduct health for the last attack Viktor did haha.

Viktor showed no sign of emotion as his paralysis kicked in. He had no more reason to celebrate. He had allowed himself to take more damage than he should have and was now coming out with more injuries than he had expected to. He had some severe burns around his feet already and even if he could still move just as fast, it was incredibly painful. This was often times a bad habit of his, as he sacrificed his own safety fore the sake of a win. He couldn't seem to always think such reserved thoughts when in battle with dark wizards. He would need to seek medical attention for these wounds soon, but he also had to figure out what he would do with the dark wizard.

Unfortunately he didn't have much time to waste on thought. Suddenly an attack came back at him, catching him completely off guard. He was already making more mistakes as he failed to even prepare for a dodge, once again he would have to take the blow. He caught the man's arm mid swing, taking the burn damage from the flames and feeling the impact as they hit him. He cursed knowing he needed to finish this now before he took any more damage.
"Lets finish this." he stated as gravity magic began to gather around his fist. He didn't gather as much as he needed to hold back enough to keep the wizard alive. He still wanted him alive for whatever it was worth. "Smash..." he said softly as he pulled his fist back and then forward in quick succession towards the man's stomach, ready to end the fight before it had a chance to go on any longer.
