There was a flicker of thought before he grimaced and nodded, remembering when she gave it back. He had been meaning to tell her to keep it and leave it in Mara's desk and that had stayed with him. "Anyone would have been her.. Kae. I had a shield up. how many times do I have to say that?" he shook his head just tired of this and wanting to move. He nodded and walked off, grabbing his pack and leaving the base to fly to Sanctuary.

Tri frowned and back winged, hating foggy nights even if the thought reminded him of Ree. Landing at a pair of lights he could see down below he grabbed the nearest address and called a cab as he tried to use GPS to locate where he was form his destination.

Tri sighed and closed his eyes for a moment, wanting to go back to moving but without the gp-...oh.....yes he was dumb. Anger clouded his mind,he didn't need to fly there even if he would be using up a precious resource getting there was important. Calling the cab again he changed its pick up point to Sanctuary as he summoned his artifacts and uses them, grasping at the shadows in Sanctuary to attempt to teleport there directly.

As he appeared he stared around and ruffled his feathers, everything bringing back dark memories from Ree to Hexxis even Rhun and Storm and..what was hidden near by.

Moving away from the darken edge of a building he headed toward the main hall, a little surprised to see lights on as he moved with care. He had been able to assume he would have to sleep outside tonight or worst case call Kae back to get the number. Silently he opened the door and went inside following the soft shrill of electronics and a voice that seems to be distressed over something. Seeing no one or any sign of who to contact he made his way toward the main office and blinked faintly as he recognized the person if only form the picture. Silently he knocked on the edge of the door.

Tri watched her his gaze moving toward the phone and quickly back to her face. Kae, she must have called ahead to talk to her personally. He shifted his own wings slightly unsure what to think of that or even what could have been said.

Walking toward the desk he held out the letter to her without sitting in either of the chairs. "Yes. " he said a little sharply and tried to curb it but he was tired and worried for Ree and now Hexxis. The timing was to convenient for everything that had happened. He wanted to go find her within the area but even he knew that would just cause trouble but it didn't make him wish not to do so. "As well as Ree... my other son who seemed to have been given something similar"

Tri's feather's bristled as he gave her a cold stare, his stomach sinking with the dread, it explained a lot if so. "Murder shows? What happened. I have been unable to get anything from him even before..." he shook his head. "His mind is damaged and he was kidnapped. " he said knowing that even if he didn't have a location that Ree will lose control of his powers at some point. The first thing Silence will do is take off the collar and that will be his sign. "It doesn't matter at this moment though..." he said thinking of the picture he had seen of Tendren and felt a slow burning anger toward the Shadow, one that was developing into the same hatred he felt for Zephyr. "Yes" he said looking up sharply when she offered to take him to Tendren's office.

Tri's wings tighten against his back the only indication of his anger as he followed Nova down the hallway. Numerous deaths.....that explained a lot about his behavior. Avoiding him... trying to work himself to death and likely something there traumatized him from eating as well. That was another place he was going to go investigate, once he found Ree and Hexxis and Mara allowed him to leave that is.

"You send them on those quests ... don't you have any back up plan encase they come out worse than going in? Or just leave them to deal with it themselves? It is irresponsible... " he stopped and looked into the study, his eyes going first to the floor before the rest of the room. He didn't move to touch anything, knowing that Nova likely knew where to look or not. "Where would he be right now? ..." after a moment he moved to the desk and looked over the top without touching. "... Does he also have a way to monitor our movements?" his eyes serious, taking this as any investigation where the perpetrator has left.

Tri frowned as he listened to her, eyes looking around the room slowly looking for anything of interest. "Perhaps... I will have to find him first" he frowned deepened. "Let's not put it in terms of gifts, you are creating metas super soldiers through these quests. The ones who are lucky enough to survive are worthy to reach the next stage..a combination of stress and fear I assume activates it? " he shook his head. "Still end result is nearly the same as the "research" places" he said turning when she started speaking of another of the elders, he caught the back end of the paper she was reading."Hm?" He looked toward it and frowned."Look behind that paper.. It changed where Angel fear to tread to where wolves fear to prey...." he blinked once and move to her sharply."let me see that.. and the quest paper " after a moment he added "please"
