She was a queen, and a damn good one.

Nestled beneath the majesty of a towering mountain was the small village of the coast of Greece which she governed over. It was small, but a thriving community that got most of its money from the nearby fishing from the coast. Though it wasn't a rich city, it was a happy city. One of the most important aspects outside of fishing was the arena, where people could win substantial amounts of money by fighting animals or each other. As a staple of their society, Iyari was often there to oversee the proceedings, interested in a lion fight that was soon to begin.

"I hope no one gets bit today." She hummed, sitting on her seat. It was a normal day, so far... but it was soon to come crashing down.

It began as a tremor under their feet and the dark clouds covered the sun overhead. Iyari turned to stare at the mountain bearing overhead and she stood. "Everyone must evacuate now!" She yelled, turning to run up to the mountain side. Not now, not now... why now? While she could hear her guards shouting for her, she was not about to leave the people unaware of the situation. If she could get to the top of the mountain, she could tell if it was going to blow. She could maybe see the trajectory or, at the very least, go as far as she could to pray to the gods to maybe stop what was going to be inevitable.

Trudging up the mountain slowly, the black smoke had engulfed the sun, blotting it out while she coughed. She would rather be watching a fight with lions, or a fight between people or doing anything else. This was her duty though, to her people. To her country. To herself. Trembling, the ground underneath let out a churning groan and she hurried to a rock on the hill, horrified at the silence which suddenly took hold.

Then a rumble.

A sputter.

A roar.

It was as if the mountainside were cracking from beneath as it released a shockwave into the sky as fire rained down from above. Her bright eyes stared at the rocks being launched from the mouth. "Why..." she repeated. "You can't let this happen!" Lava began to flow and move down the mountain as it blotted more of the light out. "Stop this travesty!" She shouted to the gods, trying to be a hero for her people.

...But they made the movie Pompeii anyways. Truly one of the worst disasters.

[Saya]

Saya tapped her long fingernails on the desk, lips pursing as she rolled her head back.

She was at the top of her class, that much was true, but as her side job? She had to listen to her clientele brag about how much they were making, as well as their dull love life and how Ms. Snapdragon looked at them differently today and how they were just starting to fall in love, and, and and --

Saya shut her eyes, breathing in and attempting not to turn them into a frog. It wouldn't be good for business, she reminded herself. If she did anything, she would lose her job --

Wait.

Why did she care if she kept this job or not?

Grinning wickedly, Saya reached up and loosened one of her fruits, holding it out to the client.

"Mr. Horseradish, if you would please accept this gift?" Her client's eyes brightened as he took the gift, obviously surprised.

"Why, Saya! This is such an honor! I--"

"Please. Just... try a bite, wouldn't you?"

The client nodded, awed as he did indeed take a bite... then stood up, eyes going wild.

A loud cackle emitted from him as she glanced to her fruit in horror.

Oh no. That had been the villain fruit. How had she made such an awful mistake!?

"I will take over this ENTIRE SCHOOL!" Came Mr. Horseradish's cry, and Saya groaned as she fell back in her seat, watching as he ran out of the door.

Saya couldn't even take this seriously, despite the circumstances.

Honestly. Who would even take a villain named 'Mister Horseradish' for real?

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER: Aya is of medium height, has purple hued hair with white bangs, fair skin, and black sclera contacts with purple pupils (mostly to weird people out). It wouldn't be a far stretch to say that her favorite color was purple, but she does seem to have a humorous attitude about most things.

Her weapon is a staff with various flower designs carved into it, as well as the standard runes.

[Vania]

Vania walked the hallways of her school, hands deep in her trench coat as she hunched by the usual gossipers -- the popular girls of her high school.

She always felt out of place there... and that wasn't just because she was different than they were.

Vania was a wizard that fed off of anger. It was an unusual type of wizard, to be sure, and she wasn't entirely convinced that she wasn't the only one out there who actually worked magic from anger around them.

One of the girls turned and sneered at her, making Vania tense up even more, but inwardly... she was thriving on the senseless anger that the girl felt towards her. She could feel it.

"Why don't you just go back from the hole you crawled out of? You really think that red to blonde ombre look is in style right now?" The girl sneered at Vania, pointing her finger at the wizard as she turned to the others, letting out a huff of laughter.

It was all fake, of course it was -- but the hatred was still there.

"Is there a reason for your senseless anger, or do you just enjoy taking out your misery on me?" Vania found herself asking, and felt a spark of rage light up inside the girl, eyes widening as her fists clenched.

Oh yes. Vania just made things worse.

"You--" The girl walked forward, raising her fist to punch Vania... but Vania already had her hand up, clutching the girl's hand and using her fingers to crunch the bones inside, the hatred fueling her wizardly strength.

It was easy. Far, far too easy.

The girl screamed as she collapsed on the ground, sobbing as the wizard turned away, leaving the girls to tend to one of their wounded.

"Now, was there any point to that?" Came a voice from inside her coat, a small, furred head poking out to stare at Vania with a disapproving chitter.

"No. There never is."

And Vania kept walking.

[Altessa]

Altessa stared at the lifeless bodies of the goblins around her, alarm, dismay, and sadness seen in her eyes.

The only reason she had survived... was because she was gone. She was the only goblin to leave the 'pack', and because of that... she'd survived.

Everyone else had died a gruesome death, lying there from bled out wounds, severed limbs... and even some with severed heads.

She walked along the dead and couldn't help but rummage through their pockets, finding... nothing.

Absolutely nothing was left behind, not even a single gold piece for her goblin urges.

Gritting her teeth together, Altessa shook her head and pressed against her temples, tamping down the goblin urge of fight or flight. That was the reason her family had died -- she didn't need to follow in that path.

Breathing in, she focused on calming herself... and thinking like an adventurer.

Like a killer.

A smile spread upon her green lips, and she followed the path of dead bodies.

It wasn't long until she heard the sound of voices... and she peered around the corner to see three people surveying the wall, as if they were trying to find a hidden door. One was a burly guy in plate mail, with a plated armor piece in front. She didn't recognize the frilly design etched into it, but it was definitely shiny.

Another looked to be an archer, keen, and with pointed ears. Probably an elf.

And last, but not least, was a man in robes. He looked to be a healer, and not at all used to killing -- in fact, he looked quite ill.

"Idiots," She hissed, snorting. One of the people's heads jerked up, and she tensed, falling completely still as her natural ability kicked in, making her one with the wall.

Camouflage was very useful, if you were smart about it.

Unfortunately, most goblins weren't smart.

She saw the one with the bow creep closer to her, and Altessa didn't move an inch, but she stared right at them... and wasn't even noticed.

Her lips were pressed so tightly together, that it hurt to keep from smiling.

"What's the matter?"

"Thought I heard something," The elf murmured.

"Oh yes. With those elf ears of yours." Came the younger one's snarky reply, tamping on his chest plate with a fist.

"Okay, you know what--" The elf started, and used the loud voice to fall back and take a different way around.

She knew where the hidden door was.

They didn't.

Altessa also knew where the traps were.

They didn't.

It didn't take long to circle back around, and by the time she did, she had poisons collected in her bag, lifting one out as she bit down on the cork, wrenching it free with a pop.

None of them had heard it, due to the elf and the tank arguing, so she sent it down with a crash, watching as smoke started pouring out of the acrid liquid.

The arguing stopped and the elf coughed, glancing around before she spotted Altessa.

"You--! I told you I'd heard something!" She strung her bow and aimed right for Altessa, but the goblin watched... and fell flat to the ground on her chest right as the elf let loose with the arrow.

It clanged against the wall behind her, falling next to her. She grinned, grabbing it as she used the smoke for cover, running down the pathway and away from the smoke.

It was poison, after all, and breathing it in would prove very, very deadly to anyone that did so.

Taking an older bow that was of goblin make, Altessa stared at the arrow as the head shone, making her eyes widen --

NO. She couldn't fall prey to her goblin whims now. It was life or death, fight or flight. And she had to make every second count.

Turning the corner of another hallway, she saw that she had clear line of sight for the elf, and drew the arrow in the bow... slinging it and catching the elf right in her pretty little throat.

She went down like a pile of rocks. Or like my brethren did, the goblin thought sourly, watching as the tank tried to get up... but couldn't, weighed down by the poison in his lungs, and the plate mail he wore.

What a pity, that the tank couldn't even do his job.

It was a good ten minutes that the poison lasted, until it drifted away, sucked down an airway and rendered impotent after a time.

The healer was making signs and whispering spells against poison, managing to save himself -- and only himself.

But he hadn't run, like a good healer should have.

"... and all that's left... is the one in the dress."

"Please--! I d-didn't--" The healer stammered, trying to back up... but found that he was up against a wall.

"I will make you regret... for every single one of my brethren you killed."

Altessa stepped forward, clacking a nail against her sharp, pointy teeth, advancing on the poor healer...

... step...

... by...

... step.

Shu's side

She still wasn't sure what qualities a lead should have, when she was still a small potato she didn't need to carry a lot of responsibilities or thought she could be a lead one day. She revealed her true self when she became a full hunter, the highest rank among all except division assistant and lead.

The dramatic twist in her personality shocked many, most chose to left while some stayed. They told her that as long as her heart was true towards them, they didn't care the rest. Having a thought of dying at some times, decades had passed. Many things changed, and after one or two severe incidents, the ordinary members of the higher rank experienced a big alteration.

The Death division lead went missing, not only her division, but some divisions faced the same problem. Having no choices, they were promoted shortly to replace the slot since leaders were needed to maintain order for the lower ranks and fought their enemies. Horsemen was a big threat, same as the O hunters. In the time being, the Death and Life division broke the ice because she and Mimsy, the new Life lead had a complicated yet close relationship. Besides, Robert was the division assistant. It brought Deus to a new environment that some old hunters couldn't believe was possible.

During those years, old souls left them while new bloods bumped in. Educating the newbies was not an easy job when they already had that much on their hands. She didn't take a proper rest for days......but still reports piled up for checking and missions required her approval. Occasionally, she would receive news about the Legacies messing on the island and needed to check it out. Both her body and soul were exhausted.

With their collective effort, the worst storm finally passed.

That day, she was walking outside along the corridor of a hospital. She paused at a young face and sat down next to her. "Do you wish to take revenge?" The girl with sore reddened eyes looked at her, "Yes. They - the shadows killed my parents and making me an orphan, they should pay me back!"

She didn't look at the young girl but stared at the view behind the windows. "Even it might cost your life, even it's only hardship waiting for you?" She asked calmly, didn't hide the cruelty from her. "Yes, as long as I can take my revenge." She turned to look into the girl's eyes as if she was confirming her determination. A few seconds later, she stood up. "Come with me, young lady if you're ready. From now on, you're dead."

She walked away in quick pace, the trail of her white coat waved like a flag.

She was cutting up the avocado to make the guacamole, because all good parties had guacamole and chips. Everyone was there – more people than she really knew, if she’d think about it. She didn’t though. She just mixed the guacamole and placed it next to the chips on the table.

They were all in her apartment. Her friends and more. The room was more than big enough to accommodate everyone. It was nice being able to host large parties. All her friends in one place, having fun.

A roach crawled across the table near the chips and dip. Sherry looked up to see Mark standing there, a frozen pizza in his hand. Sherry smiled at him. “Glad you could make it!”

“Sure,” was all he said as he sat down at the table.

Sherry took her own seat, the chips and dip replaced by candles and wine. The room was different, too. No people, just the two of them. Sherry took a sip of her wine and giggled.

“So,” Mark said, scratching at his beard with his free hand. “What did you want to tell me?”

“I,” Sherry felt her face grow red, and her eyes settled on a candlelit cockroach scurrying across the table. “Mark, I think I like you.”

Mark set his still frozen pizza down on the table. “Look, I know I’m hot stuff. But, Gale, no homo.”

“I’m not Gale.” Sherry was dumbfounded. She looked down and – Oh. Oh no she was a boy again. That explained it. Ok. Well. She looked up again only to see that Mark was gone. It was just her and the wine.

So she drank the wine. All of it. And as she fell over with the room spinning, she saw that Caroline had shown up.

“Are you alright?” Her bright red hair caught the light as she leaned over looking at Sherry.

“No.” Sherry said. “I told Mark something important but he thinks I’m a boy and then I drank all the wine.” She started to cry.

“Don’t worry. We’ll do better next time.” Caroline was pouring herself some wine as she spoke.

“Promise?”

“Yes.”

Sherry moved to sit up – and found herself on her couch with her flask. Caroline was still there, sitting at the other end of the couch with a cat in her lap. Sherry had another sip from her flask. She didn't think cats should be on Deus but whatever. It was fine.

Armagnac, in a golem clearly, also sat down on the couch. "Things are better this way."

(Narrated by Morgan Freeman.)

"What is our purpose? To explore, to observe, to understand the space station we call The Bill."

-Fancy helicopter sounds. -
- Radio tower chatter.-
-Footsteps-
-More footsteps.-

"The space station is a massive place, easy to get lost so we will need a sign post, to give us a sense of sale." (Morgan Freeman)

Cain entered the command tower and looked down over the idiots he was in charge of below. For 'scientist' they couldn't even handle something as simple as piloting a special space helicopter. What the hell. He signed and felt the veins in his head throb. A headache was incoming, then he would yell. But again no one would listen, they knew everything but were using his design. His plane!

"Cain, the helicopter pilots frustration is the size of acrobats ring, which is 1 meter wide. Cains frustration is ten times more than that. His frustration extends ten meters inside of the space station tower, larger by one power of ten. Now with every step, we travel ten times further into the space station. A one hundred meter ring surrounds the main part of the ship, or maybe the tower...Either way. The Space station is made of metal..Space metal." (Morgan Freeman)

Cain couldn't handle this right now, he had more important things to do. So into the space station he went, down to get a cold drink. The vending machine was punched on a gruff, "coke!" and a soda rolled to the bottom for pick up.

"Yes, even space stations have vending machines. These are men of science after all, well aside from Cain. Cain is just a normal helicopter pilot that was brought here against his will. Back to the vending machines, these vending machines are composed of special space metal. Found only on the planet Skaro, these vending machines will kill you if you are indecisive...So be prepared to answer pepsi or coke." (Morgan Freeman)

Cain opened his soda and moved towards the bunker for a rest, today was already enough. A sip of the soda and he coughed as it went down the wrong way.

-gasp for breath noises-

-coughing fit.-

"The scientist known as Davros is working on the vending machine bug, but its a long and tedious road. "

"One day man will get it right and realize that soda already kills you...but for now we move on." (Morgan Freeman)

-coughing continues-

-loud thud

14. Disaster
10. Horsemen Isle
16.The ultimate villian

Horsemen races around the isle, trying to figure out who was really themselves. It was in one word, a disaster. Thankfully one that didn't last long..

There had been a seed one day, it sprouted into a beautiful black and orange flower after planted. A gift they had thought from Halloween. So of course it was tended to but then from that flower came an icy blue dust that filled the air. At first the pollen was ignored. But then soon there came change, Horsemen started acting funny. Attacking others when getting them alone. Groups formed and kept to themselves, at least for a little bit.

It wasn't until a famine horsemen had discovered the true about the pollen's infection that things turned sour. The groups became violent, the handful that had caught the first breath of pollen started to infect others. Gaining more and more each day until only a handful of horsemen were left untainted.

Then madness.

Those infected went to stomp out the little amount of free life that was left, they didn't kill the others though, no what they did was much worse. Those that were captured by the infected were held still and fed like a baby bird, just as those before them. The bright blue liquid would fill their being, turning them into the brainwashed collective. Taking full control....

Those that dared to oppose it, asked why....

The answer any gave was that was asked, simple, "I am Spinar. I am you, all of you. You will be better. " The horsemen stood no chance against their brainwashed brethren and the isle fell. Devoured by the hive mind that took them over.

Cadence Chao tsukino

12. Spy
2. Hospital
3. A doctor

Cadence was undercover, it was suspected that the hospital was home to crime, several different types. Where they connected? She did not know. Her main mission was to find out if the enemy faction had taken over this hospital or obtain useful information. She was near the enemy lines and it was suspected that they had started advancing.

Another note of concern was a large amount of drugs seemed to be missing from the hospitable and patients seemed to be dying at an alarming rate. Was the enemy stealing drugs from the hospital? Where staff taking them? Was there an incurable disease lurking in the hospital.

She suspected an angle of death was at work. One of the doctors or nurses was stealing drugs and killing the patients with them. But why? Where they crazy or was it because many of the patients where injured soldiers? she suspected that the person behind it was someone from the enemy's forces trying to prevent their soldiers from returning to the battle field and that they where stealing drugs not only to kill but to ship to the enemy lines to help their comrades.

Due to the alarming rates of patient deaths it was decided that it was to risky for the spy to go in as a patient and she went undercover as a doctor from another hospital to help out with the crisis.

She glanced down at the patients charts "Hmm it looks like you are recovering well Mr. Clancy, How do you feel?" She asked him.
"not to good." he responded sounding rather ill. Suddenly several of the machines lit up and started sound alarms.

The spies eyes widened as the patient who vitals had been fine not ten minutes ago suddenly crashed. She called out to the nurses and another doctor for help as she tried to stabilize him. Their efforts where in vain and he died shortly after.

"Must have had an infection or something we didn't notice." One of the nurses said sadly. It seemed strange to Dr. Tsukino that they would miss something like that. "His white blood cell count doesn't show any signs of infection." She murmured. "Send him to the county coroner's office for an autopsy.

"Why?" Nurse Carolyn asked in surprise. "We can do it here."
"I don't want anyone to think we have something to hide is all." Dr. Tsukino responded to the nurse. Truthfully she wanted an outside examiner to do it because she was not sure who she could trust here and who would hide the truth.

Another soldier was dead, when she had looked at the report it seemed like 80% or more of the deaths where soldiers due to return to the field soon. The log showed that the last person in the room was Nurse Emily. But was that true? If they where smart the killer would not check in or would kill when they where working on a different patient. She'd have to check the security logs. She quietly passed a note to her contact who was working as a nurse requesting the video feeds from that day.

The video tapes where dropped off to her apartment late that night and the spy sat down to watch them, taking notes of who passed by the room and went into it and cross checking it with reports from the previous incidents to see if anyone came up in common or just a lot between the cases.

The spy sighed, it seemed like this was going to be a long investigation.
