Horrible, horrible things happen in the fog. Something down to her core twitched when she began walking into it.
Not even a few moments into it and her fears were realized, the voices gliding in and out of the deep recesses of the fogged area. Slowly, she moved across the barren area carefully, trying to filter out the distant echoes from anything close to her that might be problematic - like another one of those fake versions of herself. Just as she was getting her bearings, she heard it.popThe warrior stopped and that sinking feeling bubbled into the inferno of an annoyance. "I'll gladly tear you apart a second time, if you so wish." Her words were full of confidence, but echoed deep into the nothingness.
POP
The gum was closer now, near her ear and she swung her blade into the nothingness to get it away, staring off at the distance, the voice echoing and she could hear the laughter. There was something at the edge of her mind, a memory far locked away about being in the fog. Not this time. Last time she had felt herself be lost to the fog, let the insanity flow. That laugh felt like it was in her own voice, or rather, that poor knockoff she had managed to render useless. The swirls of the fog moved around her, there were no echoes of footsteps here, no sound of anything familiar. And there was still something here too...
Something that needed to be destroyed.

Tanita's head was whirling with the way the fog, and whatever else was going on in it, made her feel. She was trying not to freak out, but it was hard. The voices... She couldn't tell, who was her enemy anymore? Who were her friends, her allies? They all seemed to be enemies, now. She whirled, hearing a voice that sounded familiar, and part of her said 'safe' but the rest of her said 'No, they're all dangerous...!' and she jumped in the air, using her wings to propel her at the invisible enemy, feet first in a hard, vicious kick at the foggy shape that resembled a head. She did some damage, she could tell, but not enough.
However, when she turned around, the shape she had attacked was gone and she panicked more, because how did they get away so fast? They could kill her, easily, if they could move so fast! She had no way to move like that, she was doomed. She shuddered in horror, then snarled out loud. "NO. Nooooo I will not go down to any of you foggy, fast bastards! I can do this, I will make it through this fog. This is not my ending!"

Etzer found himself in the wide, endless space, staring dully as the voices echoed around him.
He raised his hand and tapped the trinkets that hung from his horns, tilting his head and listening to the chiming sound that they emanated.
Despite the voices, that sound was real. That sound he could trust.
Which meant that everything else was a lie.
Sliding his tongue against his teeth, Etzer moved forward as he lifted his hands, fingers pulling at the air and shaping something between his palms, revealing to be shards of ice that were long and thick, and they looked like they were able to do some serious damage.
His arm jerked forward, fingers extending as he sent the shards right into the boss, watching as they slid into it... and didn't seem to affect it much, if at all.
He stared for a few moments longer, confusion filling his gaze before his lips began to move.
"I can't believe it," Etzer spoke, finding, strangely, that he was speaking of a memory without realizing it. "You? Collecting bells? And you know where they are, even if I take one. Hah!" He breathed in, swaying as he grasped onto his jaw with his clawed fingers.
"I got you some new bells to add to your collection. They're different colors, even some pink ones." The frost demon grinned, sinking down to the floor as he wrapped his hands around his knees. "I hope you like them. The joke is that they're pink. But... I thought of you."
Holding his face, Etzer gritted his teeth. "... Molan, I miss you..."

It had been the voices that caught her attention, her eyes wandering about as if trying to locate who was exactly talking to her. And saying very mean things. The fog, in itself, didn't seem particularly odd as it seemed just a natural thing that one could often find themselves in (especially in human world movies where things like her came out of).
But the voices, they made Olivia frown very much and they didn't seem to stop with their spiteful words as she picked up her feet once again and continue walking. Her cheeks puffed as they didn't relent.
No wonder she can't find her friends, they probably think she's too stupid to keep around
>tcct< Doesn't even have a working heart to realize what it feels
Probably won't find her way out
Olivia paused again and let out a deep huff at all that she heard, all the chatter she heard passing her ears. It was difficult to understand why anything would say such spiteful things and as if they had heard her own thoughts, she could hear the cool collection of laughter again. Mocking her, telling her how idealistic she was for thinking everything was spookies and pumpkin suns.
We need to squish that optimism, its doing no one any favors. Especially her. The world if cruel, Olivia... you have to accept it. Have to accept you'll just burn
"No! That's not going to happen!" Olivia cried out, flailing her arms wildly at the surrounding fog. It was weak and undirected, making the voices continue in their chiding as they seem to swirl around her.
I can't believe you're the one that survived A familiar voice said. Like herself, like the other version of her but so much more mean.hp: 56/60 damage: 4 Total Boss Damage: 179

She could hear them still, never letting up as they spoke of things. Stories about her as if reading a book and then adding in their own commentary, of course in snide remarks of the mistakes they felt she had made and the decisions they had thought ill of her.
It was making Olivia rather angry over the words they were saying, just mocking her for everything. Why would anyone find joy in something like this? (And again, the laughed). "Stop it, that's so mean!" Her hand struck out again, no where in particular. Catching nothing but it felt oddly satisfying as if she had managed to dissipate something in her grasp even if it the fog simply danced around her tight fist.
Anything would have done. No matter what side they were on, at least if she got to hit something it would probably make her feel better.hp: 56/60 damage: 11 Total Boss Damage: 190

The distant bubble popping was unnerving and her eyes scanned the shapeless area. Unknown to her, the voices and noises were the least of her problems. She felt something nearby and smacked at the nearest area by her. "...." Slowly her eyes adjusted and she realized there had been nothing there. It WAS happening again and she glared back at the wisps of fog. The War mare grunted and her wings stretched out in annoyance before folding back neatly at her sides.
Whatever was here wasn't going to reveal itself, and now she had to be careful if she were to attack randomly. There were still other horseman around and she didn't want to fight her brethren. Then again, would she even be able to tell the difference?

Tanita turned her head, her eyes wide and huge, convinced she just heard her mother. But her mother wasn't here. Or was she? Maybe her mother was pulling a trick on her. Maybe her mother was out to get her. Or maybe some of her fellow students were. It was hard to say. The only thing she could say for certain was she knew. She knew none of them could be trusted, they were all going to do terrible things to her, and this place was proof of it. She had to defend herself from them. When she heard someone speaking nearby, it sounded like a classmate, she attacked, snarling and biting.

Watching the corpse of her disgusting Hunter counterpart burn gave Sanjiva a minor amount of satisfaction. The entire situation though left her rattled to the core. She was offended to unfathomable lengths that there were beings capable of uprooting her people and swapping their bodies. She was hellbent on delivering those responsible for this turmoil a proper judgment. Her pale, pink hair flowed freely in the fog. Her bloody hands firmly gripped her bow. She was ready to let loose a bolt at anything that moved. “Enough! Come out of hiding you coward. Your abominations will all be destroyed soon. Was any of this worth it to you? All of this senseless death? You have all this power and this is what you do? A lost child would have more sense. Anyone can create chaos. You impress no one!” The Conquest mare’s impatience was boiling over. She caught a glimpse of a shadow and fired an arrow at it with zero hesitation. Voices slipped in out out of her head. Their mere existence inspired more fire within her. My mind, my body, and my spirit are mine dammit! I worked, fought, and struggled to become who I am at this moment. You think you can just swoop in and change me? For the sake of what? Your supposed creativity, your self-absorbed desire for amusement, or just your complete lack of sense of power? You are a waste. Entropy is your only destiny if this how you choose to use your resources. I would pity you if I believed you were even capable of understanding its meaning.HP: 20/40 Damage: 4 + 2 = 6 Total Damage to Boss: 208

People were attacking something in the fog so Rep joined them because he needed to do something.
Summoning Tracey to hand cast a strange red glow into the surrounding fog and he stepped forward, feeling as he did so that something reached out of the fog back to him.
"It's your fault. You started all of this." a voice whispered from nearby and he tried his best to ignore it.
Leaping forward he struck at what he hoped was something with his axe.

The others wanted to get him, they wanted to stop him from killing the boss, they wanted to get in his way and hurt him.
He was always paranoid, even at the best of times, but this was much, much worse.

He couldn't hold onto his senses or his sanity, the surrounding fog becoming too much. He felt like he was falling apart and as he leapt into his fear there weren't shadows to orient him, there wasn't anything to give him an idea of which way was down.
He missed by a wide margin but he could barely remember what he had been trying to hit any more.

Cadence was wandering around trying to find her way out of this fake reality. It was clear that the Green Eyes sickness had taken over, and she felt dizzy as she tried to moved around but she had too keep going to find a way to escape.
But she was alone. She did not like being alone, Cadence was a social kind of ghoul who liked to stick around other people, but there was no one here. There was nothing. Nothing but the infinite fog she had manged to stumble into.
The silence was deafening and stifling, as she moved she started to to notice strange shadows out of the corners of her eyes but when she turned to look nothing was there.
And then the voices started. Faint at first but they grew louder and as they did she realized she knew those voices it was her family. They where screaming that she abandoned them. "No! I would never!" She kept turning around in the fog trying to find the source of the noise "Caiden! Where are you!" She called out trying to find her brother, she could here him but the fog was too think to see where he was.
"You killed them~" A sing song voice taunted her. "Just like you killed me~ hehe."
"No!" Cadence yelled. This voice wasn't her family it was the hunter shadow version of her that she had killed.
"Murder murder~ Left your family to die~" The hunter continued singing. "Or did you kill them yourself?" The shadow sneered at Cadence.
"SHUT UP." Cadence screamed at the shadow, it was lying, mocking her. Summoning her scythe she struck out at the shadow trying to get rid of it.
"Killing me once wasn't enough?" The shadow taunted as it dispersed.

The voices were getting worse; a whisper in his ear that sounded, Ever thought, entirely too much like Julian Ambrodiel the first, deep and rumbling and disapproving. The words were a quiet lecture that slid half the time into biblical verse, an explanation of Ever's shortcomings told through the lens of a lesson. It made his skin crawl and it bent his head just a little bit in acquiescence, because old habits died hard. His fathers lectures always stripped him to the bones. He was the one man Ever'd never managed to snap back at. But through this memory came another voice: one that was more recent but no less familiar, a little bit frantic and certainly furious. Zeke's Shut up seemed to drive the memory of his father away, and left Ever blinking through the fog for a moment, certain that he could see a glimmer of a shape. "...Zeke?" It was quiet, a bit hoarse; Ever coughed, easing into motion, dagger at his side. His feet stumbled against nothing, and he wondered briefly if there was something beneath this fog, some world that it was obscuring, hidden from view. When he moved again, it was more careful: one step at a time, drawing in a deep breath and trying to recover his voice. "Zeke?" This time it came out stronger and more certain. And as the word echoed out away from him, it came back as his father's disapproving murmur again, leaving Ever grimacing just a bit.

"Zeke?"The mist frowned, his ax arm lowering until the top of the blade was resting lightly on the unseen ground beneath his feet. He knew that voice, it wasn't the horseman. "Ever?" It was a questioning murmur as he turned, scanning the fog that surrounded him. Shapes in the darkness, bodies moving off in the distance, but were they even real? One of the shapes seemed a little more defined than the other, and Zeke headed towards, the grip on his ax tightening in anticipation. It felt like he was being watched, eyes boring into him from unseen faces lost tot he darkness, and it was making the skin along his shoulders itch and twist. As if at any moment his horseman self would lunge at him. " I thought you said I was dead. Are you not sure anymore?" "Shut up." It was ground through clenched teeth, and the blade of his ax scraped against the ground as he jerked around. It's not real. He just had to keep telling himself. Just keep repeating it, over and over. Free hand scraping back through his hair in frustration, he spun on his heel, looking for that familiar silhouette again. "Ever?" " Good, call him over. Infect him as well."
