Arthur felt inclined to head to the deck after the events of yesterday. Though the professor would have never considered himself claustrophobic, he felt he needed to see the sky today. At least for a little while. Arthur wouldn't be able to resist the call of the library on the boat for long. Once outside he noticed his cabin mate. "Thomas~" Arthur said with a smile. He made his way over to the naga after grabbing a pair of offered binoculars. "I didn't expect you to be out here. You seem rather adverse to the Desert." Arthur took a spot leaning out against the rail to peek through the binoculars while he waited a response. l Duckeh l I decided I could have Arthur join you. I won't be able to have a format and may have some typos. I'm working on my cell for the next few days. musicaloner7 just letting you know I have a Arthur joining Thomas.

 Aurora yawned and stumbled onto the deck she was she sleepy after eating that snack, she picked up the binoculars and squinted out at the brush she to and wake herself up to see if she could find a familiar and see if she could keep herself from falling asleep right there on the deck of the boat. She yawned again and then squinted again and looked to the left and then the right. She hoped she would see something and wouldn't fall asleep. She leaned heavily on the railing of the boat so sleepy. She lowered the binoculars and rubbed her eyes then went to look again. Maybe another snack would help wake her up.

 Coco was feeling terrible she was sick, and she was depressed, she hid and watched for familiars. She no longer wanted to do anything but watched the shore for familiars. Tears running down her face. She didn't feel like she could be part of this world anymore. She sighed and watched wondering how she was going to live like this. She had forgotten for a bit the limitations of her condition. Accidentally eating normally food had proven to her she could do that anymore. She sighed again and wished she could disappear so she didn't have to feel this way.

 Aedus still thought at first that the watermelons were to blame till he went to go get another snack and had a snowball that turned him pink. He went back out to talk to Nimah and Nashira. His cheeks were a brighter shade of red, no way was he getting away with not being teased about being pink. Then again there were lots of pink beings in the Above and Below, so he laughed figuring it was just funny that he was now pink instead of brown. "How do I look??" Aedus chuckled. Then looked again for familiars. "My parents have.. had a house and it has a good bit of land that's where I keep my familiars and intend to take care of other familiars once I learn how. Helping and rescuing familiars sounds great though, familiars are a wonder I just have always connected to them on a level even when I was bitter and angry familiars always made me feel better."

Coco never drank the honey tea, because she couldn't, she wasn't able to have normal food anymore she stared out from her hiding spot watching for familiars. There wasn't much else she could do right now since she couldn't eat normal food anymore. Coco felt like a monster. Perhaps she was, she hadn't followed the queen. Now Coco wondered if that had been a mistake, did she have a choice? Was her life in normal society over? So many questions ran through her head and she didn't have an answer for a single once of them. She still didn't know what she would do about her relationship.

 Nashira had finished her tea, thank goodness. She had gotten a snack to go along with the drink, and pulled it out and began snacking on these little coated biscuit treats. It was a shock to suddenly find her skin had turned pink. "Oh my!" She exclaimed, seeing her hands being such an unusual color. It wasn't just her hands, but her legs and chest too. Everything she could see was pink. she blinked and was distracted, but then heard her new companion, Aedus, ask how he looked. She glanced at him and "...You're pink too." A faint smile spread crossed her lips. She looked back to the river. At least she wasn't the only one trying these strange snacks. She eaned on the railing of the ship. "Do you have a favorite kind of familiar? Or one you feel closer too then others? I find myself drawn to specterfox, personally. Or perhaps they are drawn to me. I am not sure, but I have 7 specterfox now, regardless of who is drawn to whom."

Aedus laughed they were both pink and he thought it was rather funny the snack bar was really funny. Aedus had no idea that Nimah could no longer eat normal food if he had known his guilt would have been even worse. How was it that he had been in the battles, had gone looking for the missing freshlings, yet Aedus had not become infected. Aedus would forever be marked, but he would never face the things the infected faced and he was in the dark. Aedus thought a moment and then said "No I don't have a favorite I love them all or they all love me. I have made friends with vespercats, spectrafoxes, nuzebats, fluffbugs, I consider crocobees special, but I think that's more because my first crocobee breeding I gave one to a dear friend and that is a big deal to me." Aedus said his voice a little rough.

 " ah well I hadn't forgotten about that, I really don't mind teaching, it's a good skill to learn. there are so many students that can't speak or hear normally due to life, personal choice or even due to mutations." Leto replied. Dealing with new people always made him so flustery. It wasnt as if he had forgotten but shyness ran rampant in is family and he always doubted if people really wanted to keep associating with him. "I am just... I...yeah I wouldn't mind using the binoculars." He hestitantly looked through them and on to the bank, while nothing was popping out he still enjoyed the different scenery.

Arthur continued to scan the underbrush as the boat sailed on. He was thankful that the weather was holding out to be nice. The breeze was calm and cooled his skin as best it could against the heat of the day. Occasionally Arthur perked up as movement of leaves caught his attention. He could have sworn there was something there but it was determined to stay hidden. His brow furrowed and he glanced over at Thomas. "Think we will actually see anything today?"

 Thomas' eyes kept scanning the bank. He thought he saw some movement, but it could easily be the wind. Hearing Arthur call his name, the two eyes on his hips swivelled to look at the demon, while his face stayed facing the bank. "Hello darling, glad to see you out and about," He purred. When Arthur mentioned his attitude towards the desert, the naga hesitated. "Why do you say that?" He asked innocently, his face finally turning to his new acquaintance. When he asked about seeing something, Thomas shrugged and turned to the view once more. "Always fun to try ya luck."

Iron was surprised by the sudden surplus of familiars just... appearing seemingly out of nowhere. Carefully holding the new feline now in his arms, he looked to the creature that had drawn to Thomas as well. Huh.... "I'm not sure this is such a good sign, them flocking to us like this.." he murmured hesitantly, a bit reserved in mentioning this aloud. But being on the sundeck was nice in its own right.

 "Oh good! I was afraid maybe you had just been saying that to be nice." Vega blushed as Leto looked through the binoculars. "I've seen some kids around who sign, but I didn't really understand it. I guess there's the whole 'Older and wiser' thing." He gave a content sigh, looking up at the sky. There weren't hardly any clouds, and he thought he could see birds overhead. He squinted at them, trying to make out what they were. Maybe they were a familiar? Or maybe he was seeing things. "Hey, I didn't ask you before, but what house are you in?"

 Kayla Sue Had taken a long brake form look at the underbrush. Her head had started hurt and she hadn't gotten much sleep since the caves and then straight into looking for some different familiars but she was ready to start again. Grabbing a pair of binoculars and walking to the railing Kayla Sue so begins her search of the underbrush. "Today might be the day I find you sneaky familiars." Kayla Sue voices out to the underbrush. "At less you hope so." her subconscious says with a shrug of her shoulders. Pushing her subconscious down, Kayla Sue begins and zig zag pattern of searcher hope this will be the day.
